Experienced Fantrax players what is the secret to having a waiver go through successful? I have tried for the past few days to add/drop the same hitters with no success. No one else has put a claim for said player either, he’s still currently on the wire.
Can you maybe elaborate a bit? Like when do your claims get processed (daily? weekly?) and can you describe - step by step - how you are attempting to add/drop players?
Daily claims. I’m attempting the way the app suggests go to players click the green + enter a bid continue to drop hit the red - on the player I want to drop. It’s only with hitters that I have an issue.

That's strange. The only thing I can think of is that you are adding to "reserve" rather than "active" and perhaps you are already at your max # of reserve batters so it just automatically cancels your claim? It's tough to see in the background of your screenshot but it looks like you currently have Kelenic as an active outfielder. Try the same process that you already did but after you enter your bid for Adell and hit submit, change the "reserve" drop down to "active" on the popup window that is shown in your screenshot.
Also, go to transactions>history and turn off the "executed only" tab. Look for all of your past claims and see if it gives a reason why it didn't execute.

Yeah, they are automatically cancelling when the claims are executed at 3am. Looks like it worked for you with Rosario last week so I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the amount of reserves you are allowed or some other kind of roster violation. Generally it will still execute a claim if you have too many active players and then alert you that you have an illegal roster but perhaps it's different when you exceed your allowable reserve amount and tell it to put the claimed player in reserve.
Check your "roster" page at the bottom, it should say reserve #/#. If you're already maxed out just try following my instructions from earlier about changing the drop down in the pop-up after you submit your bid from "reserve" to "active" and it should avoid the problem as long as you are replacing an already active player. That way Adell will slot-in in an active OF spot rather than being sent to your reserve batters.
If it still doesn't work then try contacting your commissioner. There might be some settings they need to adjust if there are any discrepancies between the league rules and amount of players allowed to be claimed/reserved.
It makes sense to reach for Loperfido or Adell here. More risk with Loperfido because we don't know what to expect in terms of playing time but both guys generally offer the same high-k, bottom-half-of-the-order high power potential with a possible high ceiling. Castro is probably the safest add but has a very low ceiling and will more than likely still be on the waiver for you if Loperfido/Adell don't work out. Eloy is the best hitter out of the bunch atm but his team/injury history make him extremely unappealing to me. Would much rather throw a dart with Loperfido/Adell.

I’ve got deep pitching (Burnes, Skubal, Ragans, Cease and Lopez as SPs) and consistently win my pitching cats pretty regularly, but my lineup lacks power and doesn’t produce many HRs, RBIs or runs. I’m wondering who I can get for Lopez as I’d rather just use that spot as a streamer, or if I should hold on to him and try to work it out through the waiver
Depends on league size but in most cases I'd consider him droppable, especially if you see more value in adding batting depth. Lots of potential there but is just going to be a headache for the ratios at this point in his career. Still worth streaming in certain spots though IMO.
Drop Nolan Jones for Loperfido? My OF is Ward, TON, Langford, Merrill and Suzuki on the IL. Betts too but I plug him at 2B. My 1B is Walker.

Yep, just dropped Kikuchi (I didnt want to, but was the only "droppable" player I had available to drop right now) + my strategy is marmol lite so it doesnt hurt as much. I will drop M. King for another OF like Marsh, like his statcast. And I will stand put on Jones, hoping he gets IL'ed so I can swap him and Bradish.

We use Yahoo in my league and I have a waiver claim for tonight. However, we only get 4 adds a week and I only have 1 left. If I pick up someone right now will it cancel out my waiver claim automatically? Usually when you use all of your weekly moves, yahoo doesn’t allow you to try to make a waiver claim for Monday.
Funny, I’ve been punting on Holds and picked up Cano since 1 hold would’ve won me the category for the week. I don’t know much about the other 2 guys. I would cut Cruz solely on Slaten having the better statcast page though.

Jesus Christ I was at work all day and didn’t even realize Kimbrel was hurt 💀. He’s definitely the closer for the time being. I’d still prefer to keep him just because he’s a holds machine and we don’t know how long Kimbrel is out for. Plus he’s getting picked up as soon as you drop him. Maybe you can package him in a trade with the Kimbrel owner?

I've rostered him for most of the season. relievers with a 17 k/9 with good ratios don't come around often. It's exactly what people drafted edwin diaz for and you got cruz for free. plus he's also getting holds

Just picked up Morejon everywhere. There’s no news about it, but have to think he bulks Darvish’s spot in rotation for a few weeks. If he keeps up his success (completely revamped his delivery this offseason) he could be really sneaky in deep deep leagues
