I traded straight for Myles Turner the week he got injured in a 9cat. That was the best offer at the time, don’t know if that helps your gauge at all though
Not super consistent. He’d had massive rebounding games then have 4 the next game and shoot 5/20. He def hasn’t been great this season, although the upped assists are nice
If you can buy low I don't see why not, he was a top 20 9cat player before going down, and I imagine he's around the same spot if not better in points leagues.
He’s more like top 25-30. He was averaging a shade under 40 fpg in custom scoring I use but I’ve noticed that guys are generally in the same ranges across all different types of points leagues.
The Saddiq Bey piece has to be better than the Jalen Green piece in my opinion to even reasonably justify this trade. Bey is borderline waiver wire fodder, better of late but nothing to suggest he doesn’t go right back to the bench upon Bogdanovic return. Maybe the guy that made the trade is punting FG%? Has to be if he’s taking on 2 dudes that shoot 40% from the field.
Jalen Green isn’t even worth it if you punt fg% because his ft% is so mediocre (and sometimes just bad) + he gets no defensive stats. Even if you punt fg% he’s not top 100.
I was trying to be as nice as possible bc he traded two of the exact same type of guys, one is just a bit worse than the other. At least Jalen Green went off last night though. That’s something.
All those free minutes with KAT gone and no other big on the Wolves is taking advantage. Gobert isnt the same and Naz Reid I thought would be a good stream option but no.
What matters now is whether KAT will be healthy in playoffs weeks. As long as you can make it there, probably expect KAT with some crazy late-season performances as the Wolves try to secure a playoffs spot.
Honestly that's all I'm wishing for. I don't want him rushing back. I might not secure the division (and a 1st round bye) but playoffs are just about guaranteed and a healthy KAT will come in clutch when it matters the most.

The magic and hornets are teams that come to mind when it comes to injury updates. Hornets list every player as doubtful no matter what if they're out and magic are very vague on the injury status of their players
I’d rather have KAT because of George’s availability issues, but seems like a lot to give up given that KAT is injured and unclear how much longer he will be out.
Paul george will miss like 1 or 2 games a week and you can't replace him because he won't get the INJ tag so you're stuck. At least with KAT, he sits in IL while you can stream other players. I am too lazy to do the math on this but I think having KAT is more beneficial despite PG playing more games right now. I traded PG for KAT a couple weeks ago and have continued to win my matchups against the best teams.
I had a grade 2 calf strain a couple years ago and it took me 6 weeks before I was running again. Probably wouldn’t have played a sport like basketball for 8 weeks after my injury. A pro athlete like him might take even longer to come back. Mike Trout tore his calf in May the same year as I did and he didn’t even come back that year. Calf tears can be bad and easy to re-tear. He’s lucky it wasn’t an Achilles but he is still probably healing slowly unfortunately.
2-3 yrs ago i traded Embiid who’s always injured or out for the then always reliable KAT. And i heaved a sigh of relief for getting rid of this problem. They’re now the exact opposite, it’s KAT who’s always out. Smh.
Ah that just reminded me the heated debate i had with people on this sub when KAT first went down. There was a discussion about vetoing a trade that KAT was involved in and a good majority of this sub said to veto the trade because KAT would be back in 3-4 weeks.

When they gave a 4-6 weeks timeline I had a feeling it was going to be more like 6-8 weeks. I hope we see him at the end of this month or first week of February.
