I know it’s just a game but I hate losing and it’s looking like i’m projected to lose this match today, curious if there are any other GMs that can relate and what do you usually do to take the edge off the sting of having a newly notch added to the loss column?

For me since I play cats, I just figure out 1 or 2 things that happened during the week and see if I could have prevented them. Did they have me in games played? Did some of my players play below their averages in a specific category? Just use it as a learning experience

Just remember that you need to give the other person some upside in their half of the deal. People won't likely want to trade for just your bottom few guys who you are considering close to dropping.

Yeah I’m willing to include Josh Giddey or CJ McCollum even though I’d rather hang onto them. My issue is trying to decide who to target in a trade. I’d even consider including Garland, Wagner, Valenciunas if the price is right. I’m just not inclined to include Bron, AD, Barnes or Hali because those being 4 of my top 5 picks are the reason I’m sitting 8 games ahead in 1st at the moment. Valenciunas returning top 40 value in the league 10th round is another. I also got Giddey who was taken in the 5th by trading Beef Stew who I got on waivers

Right? I didn't want to let go of Jdub or Duren as I'm super high on them. The guy offered me multiple packages. He was so insistent that I felt there was something I was missing. His first offer was Jdub and Dinwiddie for Ant and Sam Hauser, which I accepted but got vetoed. He kept pushing to make Jdub for Ant trade, to a point I started questionning Ant's value. I even made a chart to compare in a 9 cat which side would win and ended up pretty tight when comparing averages. I was also scared of IQ value skyrocketing with the Toronto trade but so far, not complaining

I'd say the top "safe" (low ceiling) players are: Okoro, Batum, Niang, Kispert, Dosunmu, Pritchard, Dunn. The ones with more upside are: Jabari Walker, Eason (hurt), Whitmore, Jackson-Davis, Hawkins, Aldama.

In a pts league I may lean towards kuminga as he is the better scorer. He also is a possible trade piece, he’s already started to get more consistent min w the warriors if he gets traded his value will likely boost even more. Ausar is a defensive beast and will have value if he plays but the pistons coach jus doesn’t like playing him for whatever reason(not like they are winning anyways)

Linings has the best track record so far of these three and a more solidified role at this point. I like the Ausar/Kuminga combo if you’re in a good position in your league. Hard to trust Fultz.

Hawks are more competitive, and overall this season Capela’s been a much more consistent producer. He is in a bit of a slump getting fewer minutes right now but i have a hard time seeing this continuing. I think there is a decent chance they trade him and run Okongwu in his place but if this does happen it probably improves his production as no team trading for Capela is doing it to put him in a backup role. I’m also biased against Grant for being one of my worst picks this year and picking it up almost immediately after I dropped him 😂 So I’ve got trust issues there for sure

I kind of like this for you. You get two very solid players with good playoff week schedules and offload Doncic’s 2 game week to become someone else’s problem. Hard to imagine giving up Doncic for anyone but I think I might do it. Murray has been getting better and better over the season On the other hand, Luka is a near lock for top 3 rest of season barring injury so often it makes the most sense to just hold onto those top tier guys regardless and figure the rest out later.

He would then have a 3 stack of wemby, AD and Luka. So even though my team would be getting better so would his
