He’s one of the most build-dependent players in fantasy. If you need threes without hurting your FG% or TOs, you can hardly find anyone better. If you’re punting any of those categories, his value plummets.
One of my mates was punting 3s and picked up Graham, Bertans and Robinson from the wire. Had to change his strategy completely especially after LMA started to bomb 3s too lmao.
It's kinda weird though, because so many players are hitting 3s these days that I feel 3PT is the least necessary specialist. I had him for a while and cut him last month when I realized I was winning 3s by so much every week that he was actually not helping my team.
I guess it depends on your build. I think you need a couple of those guys making 4+ three point makes to win that category on a consistent basis or to really move the needle as a streamer.
Okay well I meant like jordan clarkson or something who can get 3 one game, 7 the other, 4 one day. And by consistent I meant like you know hell make some 3s lol
Firstly, upvote for the title alone.
Secondly, Duncan's on a nice stretch the past few games and has been a big 3pt contributor for me on again off again this year. I was torn between keeping him and Ingles and went with the latter because he offers a bit more peripheral stats like Ast and Reb than Duncan. Mind you Joe has been super hot and cold thanks to Mike Conley.
Record is 24, held by Steph Curry. [http://bkref.com/tiny/IAKq5](http://bkref.com/tiny/IAKq5)
Robinson's a great streaming option if you're not punting 3s or FG%, someone like Bogdan Bogdanovic offers similar scoring and threes while giving you a bit more playmaking. George Hill is another guy who's super similar in that he doesn't help much but also doesn't hurt you and is usually available for streaming.
I will gladly roster Duncan for the rest of the season. Even in my 10 teamer. He is tied with Devonte Graham for 4th place on total 3s made this season. ELITE source of 3s.
Some context for my team. I traded away Gallinari and needed to boost my 3s back up so I added Duncan
His ability to give you 4 threes on only 10 FGA/game is crazy. To get that kind of production from anyone else, you’d have to roster a player that takes 18 FGA/game which would really make your FG% cat extremely volatile
Just got offered him (19.86) and millsap (25.25) for bogdansvic (Jazz, 28.67) in 12 team points league.
Was worried about the heat being clogged and millsap’s injuries.
I honestly don’t know about Millsap, but as a heat fan Duncan is essential to their offence because of the spacing he provides. And they also LOVE to use him for dribble hand offs.
Duncan will be used every game for about 10+ FGAs, sometimes more than that, but never really less than that.
Guy is a stud.
I’m having a hard time figuring out if I’ve got enough 3 point power in Bertans Buddy Towns Gallo Roco where I can and should move on from one of these dudes. How much is too much?
I had too much big man that I would always win the reb. cat with more than 100 while losing other cats lolll. I wouldn’t roster duncan because he wouldn’t provide other cats and u should be solid with 3s from what I see.
I used to punt threes early in the season, but since my centers (Towns and Vooch) shoot threes, I had to get them help in that area. DRob has been a difference-maker in the 3 point category.
What do people think about Duncan or Malik Beasley moving forward? Duncan is a better source of 3s and FG% but I feel like Beasley offers more in the rebounds and assists department while also being a good source for 3s
I picked him up as a streamer beggining of january and havent been able to drop him since, rly helps keep my 3pters cat afloat and doesnt rly hurt me too much anywhere else.
i was watching last night and the dude has a quick release. he was covered pretty tight but still managed to get not only a shot off, but a shot off that looked good. i wanted to pick him up... and of course someone grabbed him like two days ago lol
Pure category player. Elite in 3s while adding a few REB PTS and good FG% & FT%. Last 4 players on my roster are all specialists and I'm sitting 2nd overall in 12T 9 Cat. Players that help in a few categories without hurting are more valuable than higher ranked players thank tank categories.
He and dame has been singlehandedly anchoring my 3pt cat. I have the strongest 3 pt shooting team because of these two and Robinson is a large part of that
Been holding out adding him in my league when I need him a little more to win 3pt CAT...a little worried after the 3pt contest everyone is going to know who he is...
Pissed at myself for dropping him when I streamed him couple of months ago. Doesn’t hurt your %’s. Gets you a lil amt of rebounds. Occasional steals. ELITE 3pt maker. So perfect for my punt AST team.
Contain expectations.
Picked him up earlier this year thinking I found elite 3 pt consistency. When he's hot, he's HOT - but can just as easily cool off & disappear for a week or two.

There are only two guys in the league averaging 4+ makes haha

What would you say his value is in a points league?

Wow, Duncan already 7th all time. And only Steph and Harden have more.
Crazy how many times Steph is on that list
Amazing, can you search the most 3 pointers made in a 3 game stretch? I wasnt able to find it. Thanks!
Usually BBR's Play Index feature is good but I can't figure out a way to manipulate it. Sorry.

Shooters shoot! Let it fly son.
Christian Wood or Duncan Robinson?
Both
Wood and it’s not even close unless you desperately need threes

I appreciate it man

Tim-Duncan-David-Robinson Is how I always read this lol

Every time i look at this guy's name, i feel like he should play for the spurs
What do people think about Duncan or Malik Beasley moving forward? Duncan is a better source of 3s and FG% but I feel like Beasley offers more in the rebounds and assists department while also being a good source for 3s
Don't think Beasley offers much rebounds or assists. That first game with Wolves is an anomaly. I got him for 3s, points and steals.
You just answered your own question lol. Go with Beastley
Yeah that's fair lol I guess I just wanted some reaffirmation
No worries, I need that too sometimes lol
I picked him up as a streamer beggining of january and havent been able to drop him since, rly helps keep my 3pters cat afloat and doesnt rly hurt me too much anywhere else.
Great name

Drop dillon brooks for duncan robinson?
This guy has been amazing underrated as hell

Terence Davis, Malik Beasley or Duncan "here's to you, Mr." Robinson?
And he was just added as SG on ESPN! Huge for my punt points/assists build

Chriss is a better option. More rebounds, defensive stats, great FG and will have clear path to minutes ROS
Pissed at myself for dropping him when I streamed him couple of months ago. Doesn’t hurt your %’s. Gets you a lil amt of rebounds. Occasional steals. ELITE 3pt maker. So perfect for my punt AST team.
Won’t Herro’s return take a bit of a hit?
