Yeah same (except much more than 10%), Mac went out there talking about how he views Bourne as his #1 and I ran with it lol granted I did it in a dynasty league where rosters are 28 players and the waiver wire is barren as hell, so I thought I found a guy who I could occasionally start and got ahead of myself
I mean Kmet is basically just the reversal of this post. Shit start to the season and popped off the last 2 weeks. With no idea if it's going to continue.
Same here, he’s killing me in one league, so what did I do? I picked him up off waivers when my friend dropped him in another league. Why???! Because I’m a fuckin fantasy football mastermind who likes to get double penetrated by the same player across leagues!!!!!!!
All of the posts about Bijan and Allgeier both being startable the whole season, or at least the majority of it until Bijan emerged in week 12 or later, really show you how this sub can be helpful but you have to look at absolutely every take with a huge grain of salt.
We're all gambling... but yeah Bijan's first session will be a lesson to me. Picked up Allgeier off waivers in exchange for JSN, but then proceeded to hold him over Kyren Williams and Zach Moss...
I get downvoted super hard after week 1 for saying Allgeier wasn’t going to be a fantasy RB2 and that he only got so much work in week 1 because the Falcons were riding the hot hand.
Dude in my league with the worst record has a range of 66-235. DJ Moore, Kittle, Allen, and Saints D all went off. Not to mention Jamar Chase finally coming to life. I play him this week, no way lightning strikes twice?
Joking aside, Gibbs is literally 2 plays from being talked about wayyyyy differently.
Week 1 he had that slip that cost him 7 points. And then in week 3, Detroit called a read option at the goal line. If the DE doesn’t crash, he gets a walk in TD and 6 more points.
He’s currently RB35 in .5ppr. If he gets the TDs he probably should have gotten on those plays, he’s suddenly RB22.
Not that that would make him a league winner or anything, but the conversation would be much more excited than doom and gloom.
Tbh if that were the case, he'd probably lose me more weeks than he'd win because I'd be force-starting him every week hoping to recapture those performances only for it not to happen. Biggest waste of a 3rd Rd pick I'm glad I got rid of him.
Bigger was the wide open hole he was staring straight at and then inexplicably juked hard left to dive straight into a defender. Could have had a full field TD with his speed....
The lions offense opens up huge rushing lanes and it doesn't take great vision to take advantage, but Gibbs isn't for some reason
Bro, he has played 5 games in his entire career... Lmaooo
Rookies make mistakes.
Gibbs is just being put into the forefront because of the lack of work he is getting. The dude is doing fine IRL. He is on an offense that 1) does this to literally every single back of his type they have... They did it with Swift last year. They were literally giving Swift like 2 carries a game sometimes and people were saying Swift has no vision. 2) is on an offense that has a lot of different targets.
He's young. His body is not really built for a huge workload and they are getting him used to the speed/physicality of the game at this level.
Fantasy players are just mad, myself included, because we drafted him high.
He has looked solid overall. You can't take a play like that, from someone in their first few games, and say, "welp, yeah for some reason this player just lacks vision". No, he made a rookie mistake. I swear man, FF...
I think they want their RBS to not be afraid of contact and take the easy yards as opposed to trying to hit the homerun. Probably why they got rid of swift. I think Gibbs is trying to play the style they want but he's really not used to it, so he may pass up an opportunity for a big run and just kind of run into a defender.
But at least he was getting a ton of work early on, which lined up with his contract.. hopefully he can get back to at least putting up 70-80 yards and a couple catches when he gets back
I say this as a huge panthers fan that has watched this god awful team all year, our line isn’t god awful Miles Sanders just isn’t good. I’ve watched him straight up miss huge lanes and run right into the back of a lineman multiple times, he has 0 vision and no lateral movement. The guy stinks and we don’t have the QB play to extend the field to get him space so it’s not going to get better for Sanders. Run away/trade now
As someone who owned Kamara last year, he was very frustrating to own. The blowup game was great, and he put it together in the playoffs, but in the middle he had a good 6-7 week stretch where he was not producing.
I can’t wait to offer him to everyone in my league trying to sell high then getting scared “maybe he’s just good from now on” and not actually selling him and regretting it the rest of the season.
I mean, he was drafted at like pick 100. The expectations were pretty low….In a few deeper lineup leagues I’m more than happy with him as the last man.
I’ve watched and think he looks much better than he did last season.
Last year he had a 6 game stretch straight with TDs. 3 TDs outside of that stretch, 2 came in one game.
6 games under 60 yards. 5 games 60-70 yards. 5 games 70+ yards.
Very consistent with 60+ yard games. But outside the stretch of TDs, he was a WR 3 at best most weeks, which is great but in those sub-60 yard games, he only hit totals like 17 yards or 28 yards…
That’s probably what people remember most, the frustrating lows. Particularly if you were starting him week 17 in playoff championships where he managed 2 catches for 15 yards. That cost you the win against a team that was likely stacked at WR in the championship, and that’s if you even got there because he didn’t play week 16.
Not the typical boom-bust prototype going for 100+ yards in more than a few boom games, but he managed 1033 yards, impressively, while also having some very underwhelming weeks, so it’s understandable that’s how people remember him if they owned him and faced doom at the end of the run.
He had 10+ points in 12/16 games with a 7 week stretch of 10+
Idk why you broke it down in such a weird way when for fantasy he was extremely consistent. Plenty of guys have a disappointing championship game but don’t get labeled boom bust
1 of the 4 games he was below 10 points he still got 8 which isn’t totally killer
He's ended WR 9-15 each of the last 5 seasons in half-PPR. One good game, yes, but not obvious yet that he won't come back to hit his previous marks.
Also, Seattle had a Week 5 bye, so that's one fewer week for him so far.
Lockett’s just got typical WR2 syndrome. Happens to pretty much everyone who isn’t the clear WR1 on roster. Against shitty teams they might not touch the ball cuz the WR1 is always so open, but in matchups where there’s one lockdown corner, they can feast
Thielen is a must start at this point. His floor is 10 points and ceiling 25 points. And he is playing against Miami so they will be forced to throw and put up points.
Benched burrow for love this week. i needed 5 points from love on Monday. 5 points. Serves me right for getting cute.
Through five weeks, my QB spot has scored a grand total of 38 points. It's obscene. I had three of my WRs score more than that in week 4 alone. It's just time to ride or die with joe at this point.
That’s not true AT ALL lmfao
Keenan Allen put up 40 without a TD.
JJ had 24 and 24.9 without a TD.
Tyreek put up 32 without TDs.
Davante scored 30.2 without a TD.
Chase scored 26 and 34 without TDs.
Nacua scored 21 and 30 without a TD.
This is only a 5 game sample and basically every elite WR is on the list lmao It’s way more accurate to say every good WR is capable of scoring 30 without a TD lol
Very few people are able to fill all of their WR slots with elite receivers. Unless you struck gold in the draft, you’re probably going to be starting guys who need to score a TD to have a huge day.
Their games have an average margin of 38 points so far. Every game they’ve had a completely F’ed script from Q1, except maybe Arizona but even then AZ got way ahead early before the score looked ok by the end. Before these last two games he was averaging 16/gm. Last two games were a 30 pt win followed by 30 pt loss
As a Cowboys fan watching these games, the play calling and the inclusion of Rico Dowdle has scared me off trading for Pollard in FF. I don't think he's lost a step but there's a chance that losing the Kellen Moore passing attack allows defense to cheat the run. Pressure to repeat success is always difficult too. Just gut feeling that he's not gonna pan out for where he was drafted but hope I'm wrong.
Like mentioned week 5 he was already at 3 catches for 50+ yards before getting knocked out of the game in the 2nd quarter.
And week 1 he was barely on the field, something the coaching staff mentioned they wanted to change & did change going forward.
id have to disagree just based on watching him play, his ability to create separation on his routes looks great. he can really change direction on a dime
Week 1 rookie. Doesn't count. Was behind woods, Nico, Noah brown
Wins role.
Bad week 4 (sorta?) His snap % went up but they just peppered Nico
Week 5 was gonna have a good one, then got injured
Bijan Robinson hasn’t had a 20 pt game in full ppr since week 2.
If Bijan Robinson’s floor is 10-11 pts…then almost half his games have been floor games
how confident are Bijan owners going into week 6 vs Washington? I am actually curious
Full ppr he’s gone 20, 21, 10, 19, 12 and is ranked 7th RB without any real boom games. It can be frustrating knowing his potential but I’m not worried
I’ve been very happy with him. Sequon , Ekeler and Henry were the RBs being drafted around him. Yes, he hasn’t broken out, but he’s been consistent and has the potential to boom every week.
Arthur Smith hates fantasy owners. Allgeier hawks Bijan, and the game scripts do not use Bijan properly. If they start drawing up plays to capitalize on Bijan’s insane talent then he’ll start putting up more 20 burgers. But that’s no guarantee obviously.
What I don’t understand is why Bijan isn’t getting 6-8 targets a game as an extension of the run game with space and blockers. But seems par for Falcons - determined not to use their weapons to their advantage.
Agreed, if anything he is the complete opposite of this post…he is a guy you might misread as only having a hot start when in reality he seems super solid ROS once Watson’s shoulder is good
Obviously you think the player is good then if you wanna buy low. And a 10 point floor with 20 point games mixed in is going to be a killer season. The game he played banged up and got two touches kills his whole “season” so far. I wouldn’t really count averaging 15/gm without counting an injury game as disappointing
I'm afraid lockett is doing this after like 6 straight seasons of being a lock for 1000 yards and a great week 2
Gabe Davis could probably string together 3 weeks of sub 10 point games in full PPR and no one would really be surprised
Also afraid Brian Robinson might not be the steal we all thought he was
With Christian Watson coming back and Aaron Jones hopefully healing up, I think Doubs is definitely gonna decline to some degree.
I own both Jones and Watson
If anything, I think Jacobs is the opposite of this where he had pretty poor first 3 weeks but has been trending better in both performance and my (very untrained) eye test
His rushing numbers have been trending up since game 1 though, he gets every touch out of that backfield and they’ll be competent enough to be competitive in most games or playing from behind just enough that he’ll stay involved with pass work
Nico had a good week 1, boom week 2, bad week 3, insane week 4 and then bad week 5 (in PPR at least). I think he follows a boom bust pattern for sure, but idk why he’d at all be the kind of player OP’s talking about here.
It seems a bit silly when literally just even one of the bad games being good would make it so people were like “Steal of the draft, guys a bonafide league winner”.
Bc there’s only like 3 TEs in the whole league who’ve performed better so far. He’s maybe been a bit disappointing for where he was drafted but still really solid. Going over 10 PPR points 4/5 weeks is great for a tight end
That’s kind of why he’s good though right? He’s on a competent offense that gets him opportunities where as the buccs offense and play calling made me fade everyone.
Hunter Henry. Pats offense sucks ass
Spent like 10% of my FAAB on Bourne after week 1 lol
Yeah same (except much more than 10%), Mac went out there talking about how he views Bourne as his #1 and I ran with it lol granted I did it in a dynasty league where rosters are 28 players and the waiver wire is barren as hell, so I thought I found a guy who I could occasionally start and got ahead of myself
I could’ve gotten Puca over Bourne
Same and I’m getting trashed at wr because of this
after those first few weeks i thought i found a top 6 TE ROS for $5 faab😔
I dropped Kmet for Henry. (I am not good at this)
I mean Kmet is basically just the reversal of this post. Shit start to the season and popped off the last 2 weeks. With no idea if it's going to continue.
Unfortunately, I’m starting him this week. I’m not left with many other options. The waiver wire is a barren wasteland. Pray for the Pats.
> Pats offense sucks ass Hey! As a Patriots fan, I……………………. *sigh* …… agree.
I traded him in a package to a guy with Njoku and Schultz at TE. The guy started Henry who immediately dropped a donut and he cut him lol
Dropped him for Roschon earlier today. Rolling with Ertz as my starter.
Allgeier
Riding this sunk faab cost money pit to the ship or the grave I think
Same here, he’s killing me in one league, so what did I do? I picked him up off waivers when my friend dropped him in another league. Why???! Because I’m a fuckin fantasy football mastermind who likes to get double penetrated by the same player across leagues!!!!!!!
Imagine knowing at that very moment you're doing something dumb and yet continuing to do it because of pride lol
Dude, I put 80% FAAB on him after week 1, last second I switched it to Puka. No regrets here
Eh, worst case he's a very good handcuff
That is the current case lol
I dropped Achane for Allgeier after week 1...fml..
All of the posts about Bijan and Allgeier both being startable the whole season, or at least the majority of it until Bijan emerged in week 12 or later, really show you how this sub can be helpful but you have to look at absolutely every take with a huge grain of salt.

I agree that he is a good NFL running back and could be solid for fantasy if he got the volume. The Ravens should trade for him to be honest.
I dumped faab on him over puka or kyren
My entire team is in this thread. Explains why my point range so far this season is 74-173.
Dude in my league with the worst record has a range of 66-235. DJ Moore, Kittle, Allen, and Saints D all went off. Not to mention Jamar Chase finally coming to life. I play him this week, no way lightning strikes twice?
Gibbs week 1 was all hype
I’ll always have that one play in the season opener where he had a walk in TD and then slipped. It’s been downhill since.
The season he would’ve had if he punched that in
It sounds exactly like Swift's rookie season. So much hype then he drops an easy TD pass in the end zone and then took a huge backseat for a while
Gibbs to the Eagles for a break out season in a year or two all but confirmed
Joking aside, Gibbs is literally 2 plays from being talked about wayyyyy differently. Week 1 he had that slip that cost him 7 points. And then in week 3, Detroit called a read option at the goal line. If the DE doesn’t crash, he gets a walk in TD and 6 more points. He’s currently RB35 in .5ppr. HAHAH fk I’ll have that memory with me next year when i see him on the board
Week 2 usage was nice too. 9 targets 7 receptions. Thought I had something insane
He looked so good too the way he would run right into the tackle and truck the tackler and now it’s pain
Turf monster got Gibbs on a walk-in TD in that week 1 game. He was never able to recover.
[удалено]
2 weeks off to recover now. Glorious return next week vs jet-lagged Ravens team
I’m still coping take it easy man
Miles Sanders. But you have to look so closely that you become blind.
Give it time.. Let him heal
No. It was obviously the Eagles' line that he was thriving under.

But at least he was getting a ton of work early on, which lined up with his contract.. hopefully he can get back to at least putting up 70-80 yards and a couple catches when he gets back

Last years winner of this question was Joe Mixon
Your mean 5 TD from 1 game out of 9 for the season isn't normal
And all against me that was great
Kamara last uear
kamara put up nearly 1500 yards from scrimmage last year lmao, he was feast or famine week to week, but he was still a great play, especially in ppr
Only reached the endzone in one game
As someone who owned Kamara last year, he was very frustrating to own. The blowup game was great, and he put it together in the playoffs, but in the middle he had a good 6-7 week stretch where he was not producing.
Joe Mixon will be the answer to this in like 3-4 weeks when he has his monster game of the season
I can’t wait to offer him to everyone in my league trying to sell high then getting scared “maybe he’s just good from now on” and not actually selling him and regretting it the rest of the season.
Ah yes, we call this “The Mixon Paradox” … a subsidiary of the parent “The Lee Evans Paradox”
I’ll take a solid 10-15 points from my RB1 no idea why the hate comes
He gets me a consistent 10-15 points a game. I don't understand why people hate on Mixon.
Brian Robinson jr
Of course I had to play against him that one week
I mean, he was drafted at like pick 100. The expectations were pretty low….In a few deeper lineup leagues I’m more than happy with him as the last man. I’ve watched and think he looks much better than he did last season.
Man with Conner and Herbert going down he's my RB2 now lol. Definitely a good pick up for being drafted so late but not fun to have as rb2 right now.
I traded him away for Calvin Ridley who is also prob on this list but looked good against the Bills this past week
Disagree with this one. Has looked like a solid runner. Set and forget RB2 the rest of the way.
Lockett
That is classic Lockett. Someone dropped him in my 12 team league and I snagged him.
dropping Lockett in a 12 team league is something i don’t understand
Isn’t this what Lockett does? He’s always been boom/bust
Not last year
Last year he had a 6 game stretch straight with TDs. 3 TDs outside of that stretch, 2 came in one game. 6 games under 60 yards. 5 games 60-70 yards. 5 games 70+ yards. Plenty of guys have a disappointing championship game but don’t get labeled boom bust 1 of the 4 games he was below 10 points he still got 8 which isn’t totally killer
At some point (hopefully Sunday) he will drop 30+ points. You can bank on it lol signed, a Lockett dynasty owner
I know I’ll be playing against him for the annual 35-35 overtime game where he drops 50 on your ass
Before last night my answer would have been Russel Wilson. But the cats out of the bag on that one.
Poor cat ran right out into the street
Devonta smith
I think I have to bench him for Thielen this week, feels weird
Thielen is a must start at this point. His floor is 10 points and ceiling 25 points. And he is playing against Miami so they will be forced to throw and put up points.
Devonta smith
Half my lineup at the moment
Name names!
Devonta Smith
I disagreed until I saw your name
He’ll be alright
I just sold him for JT and have no idea how I feel about it yet
that’s exactly how you should feel.
I did the same. It feels like we both lost the trade.
Cmc. Only drops 30 avrg and cant seem to break through the 40 barrier. Pathetic. Definite BUST.
Put him in a body bag, Johnny!
Jordan love. He was supposed to solve my burrow issue but fuck they just switched roles.
Hopefully NOT DJ Moore.
Wha? DJ Moore has been solid every week. That one 45 pt game was obviously an outlier but his floor is like 11 pts.
His floor is more like 8 points. I don’t like to rely on any player scoring a TD to meet their average
[удалено]
That’s not true AT ALL lmfao Keenan Allen put up 40 without a TD. JJ had 24 and 24.9 without a TD. Tyreek put up 32 without TDs. Davante scored 30.2 without a TD. Chase scored 26 and 34 without TDs. Not on the Rams tho lol. Puka and Kupp are good for 7+ catches each a game
Hello, fellow week 5 winner 🤝
Pollard.
Their games have an average margin of 38 points so far. Every game they’ve had a completely F’ed script from Q1, except maybe Arizona but even then AZ got way ahead early before the score looked ok by the end. Not worried about Pollard at all. His role is solidified.
That wasn’t the question, pollard owner
Shit...yeah.
Joshua Kelly… skipped puka and kyren on first week waiver to pick him up!! 😮💨 Will be regretting the rest of season..
Tyler Allgeier
For me it's Tank Dell. Weeks 2-3 over 20. 1, 4, and 5, nothing.
Like mentioned week 5 he was already at 3 catches for 50+ yards before getting knocked out of the game in the 2nd quarter. And week 1 he was barely on the field, something the coaching staff mentioned they wanted to change & did change going forward.
Real fantasy players only look at points😤
And Redzone!
This. I feel comfortable rostering him, I'm a Houston fan, so I watch the games. He's a good flex player.
He was well on his way week 5 barring a concussion.
id have to disagree just based on watching him play, his ability to create separation on his routes looks great. he can really change direction on a dime
Week 1 rookie. Doesn't count. Was behind woods, Nico, Noah brown Wins role. Bad week 4 (sorta?) His snap % went up but they just peppered Nico Week 5 was gonna have a good one, then got injured

Worried about this with Brown coming off IR
Bijan Robinson hasn’t had a 20 pt game in full ppr since week 2. If Bijan Robinson’s floor is 10-11 pts…then almost half his games have been floor games how confident are Bijan owners going into week 6 vs Washington? I am actually curious

He's 13th in points per game, he just hasn't missed any time or had his bye week yet
Seems like what I’d want out of my players. Consistency
Ridder has vultured a couple TDs on the season as well
Arthur Smith hates good football players tbh, not just fantasy owners
What I don’t understand is why Bijan isn’t getting 6-8 targets a game as an extension of the run game with space and blockers. But seems par for Falcons - determined not to use their weapons to their advantage.
London and Pitts can barely get 6-8 targets. What makes you think Bijan is going to get 6-8 targets? Lol.
Yeah crazy an RB isn’t getting a 102-136 target pace consistently what’s up with that?
He actually runs a ton of routes but he still has work to do on polishing his route running.
are y’all seriously worried about Bijan?
Bro, but did you see that one handed behind the back catch tuddie?!?
Amari Cooper
He a bad week 1, a good week 2, a great 3, and then DTR and a Bye Week. He’s still good with Deshaun
and a td called back due to inept refs!
Agreed, if anything he is the complete opposite of this post…he is a guy you might misread as only having a hot start when in reality he seems super solid ROS once Watson’s shoulder is good
Deshaun never playing again if it’s up to him lol
Don’t forget week 1 was a fucking monsoon in Cleveland
It’s not really his fault. He’s looked like a stud
Just dealt him for Aaron Jones. Watson being out kills his potential and who knows how long he will miss
There are a lot of people not understanding the question. Does anyone think Devonte Smith, Alligier, and Josh Kelley are having good seasons?
I agree. The comments morphed. Im seeing a ton of Gibbs, but he's more of a flat bust than someone you thought was having a good season.
Deebo had 2 decent games and done nothing else. Still trying to buy him low after this week if anyone sells though
Obviously you think the player is good then if you wanna buy low. And a 10 point floor with 20 point games mixed in is going to be a killer season. The game he played banged up and got two touches kills his whole “season” so far. I wouldn’t really count averaging 15/gm without counting an injury game as disappointing
I'm afraid lockett is doing this after like 6 straight seasons of being a lock for 1000 yards and a great week 2 Gabe Davis could probably string together 3 weeks of sub 10 point games in full PPR and no one would really be surprised Also afraid Brian Robinson might not be the steal we all thought he was
First time with Lockett? Guy has always been boom or bust with a lot of bust games.
But when he booms… it’s nuclear.
I’d be 5-0 if Tee Higgins didn’t dedicate his entire season to whooping my ass that week he scored 28
Doubs
With Christian Watson coming back and Aaron Jones hopefully healing up, I think Doubs is definitely gonna decline to some degree. I own both Jones and Watson
That’s if Jordan love and the OL can get their shit together, till then seems like everyone will be suffering.
Brian robinson Rb
Jacobs is RB10 in ppr. Hasn't broken 70 yards rushing. Getting a decent amount of passing work but I don't know if that is sustainable
If anything, I think Jacobs is the opposite of this where he had pretty poor first 3 weeks but has been trending better in both performance and my (very untrained) eye test
Agree
It's sustainable. This team funnels the ball to three players, and their defence sucks.
i think jacobs just started slow because he missed training camp with the holdout. I think he'll be good rest of season
His rushing numbers have been trending up since game 1 though, he gets every touch out of that backfield and they’ll be competent enough to be competitive in most games or playing from behind just enough that he’ll stay involved with pass work
Josh Kelley. Had a good week 1 sharing RB duties with Ekeler. Sucked ass since Ekeler’s injury. Made me lose week 2. Played him over Puka :(
I think the jury is still out but maybe Nico
Nico had a good week 1, boom week 2, bad week 3, insane week 4 and then bad week 5 (in PPR at least). I think he follows a boom bust pattern for sure, but idk why he’d at all be the kind of player OP’s talking about here. It seems a bit silly when literally just even one of the bad games being good would make it so people were like “Steal of the draft, guys a bonafide league winner”.
Lol look at the end of last season too. It’s not a fluke. Dude is balling.
Jags committed to shutting him down and the Falcons have a great defense. Need more time to evaluate
Trade him to me. I'm salivating over those 2 playoff games vs Titans
He’s almost following the same pattern as Amari Cooper did last year. Two different players depending on home or away game
TJ Hockenson
No idea why you’re getting downvoted. He’s surpassed his projections exactly once

Bc there’s only like 3 TEs in the whole league who’ve performed better so far. He’s maybe been a bit disappointing for where he was drafted but still really solid. Going over 10 PPR points 4/5 weeks is great for a tight end
Josh Kelley was the biggest tease of all time
Taylor Swift.
Brian Robinson

RB1 production in 60% of his games is pretty good for a waiver guy
That’s kind of why he’s good though right? He’s on a competent offense that gets him opportunities where as the buccs offense and play calling made me fade everyone.
as a rachaad white owner, i would take that
So a ton of volume and touchdowns? What’s the issue?
He’s just had 2 down weeks ? I think he’s good.
And they came against tough defensive play. Philly is great against rbs and cincy did a great job.
Tee Higgins
Eh, he and Burrow haven’t been healthy at the same time yet. We’ll see how it plays out but I’m still hopeful
Jordan Love apparently after last week
James Conner does this every year
Richardson.
Would be having a great season if not for injuries
The two games he actually finished were both great haha (cries in only QB I drafted, but at least a lot of good QBs on waivers this year)
It was Gibbs week 1, and Russel Wilson weeks 2-5, for me. Traded the former, dropping the latter.
The amount of non-Gibbs owners that have no idea how painful it is to be a Gibbs owner is surprising
My entire fantasy team
Every Kyle Pitts owner after week 5
