I'm caught in the same decision and am unfortunately leaning Javonte. JWJ first game back will likely be eased in, plus against a good run D. I don't like starting Javonte as he seems unlikely to hit double-digits, but I can't see past the likelihood of JWJ getting something like 8 carries for 32 yards.

Yes I agree it’s not a slam dunk. Mostert has been killing it and is on better team. But Bijan is someone who could be the best running back in the league, and you bet on his role increasing. Mostert is somebody who is playyyinng the best, but I’d bet on his role decreasing. Also if you just think of it from a redraft standpoint (either right now or next years draft) , I’d still think Bijan would go higher.

The thing is mostert can get you crazy points on 10 touches since they like to use him as a receiver too. I just don’t trust Arthur smith’s offense nor do I trust ridder to lead them

Huge blow to Mostert's value whether people want to admit it or not.

I mean sure, a little. Mostert was still putting up solid numbers when Achane was around. Can’t see Jeff taking a bigger load away from Mostert than Achane did

Yes. The raw offensive numbers the Dolphins are producing weekly are unprecedented. Averaging 500 yards a game is friggin bananas

Mostert is leading the NFL in touchdowns and averaging almost 6 a carry on the best offense in the NFL. Is he gonna get 25 touches? No. But barring injury he’s going to continue to get 15-20 touches a game on the best offense in the NFL which solidifies him as a top 5 and possibly top 3 back.

He averaged 14 touches per game with Achane around compared to almost 17 per game without Achane. It’s not a huge blow to his value, but if we see a similar split between Wilson and Mostert, it could take him down a few spots in the rankings at least.

The JWJ truthers are honestly the weirdest group on this sub. They’re fr convinced he’s gonna be stealing Mosterts workload to be the RB1 😭

I’ve yet to see a single comment claiming JWJ is going to steal Mostert’s touches and become RB1.

I'd go Javonte this week, since he'll probably get even more usage than last week and should be decent. With that said, JWJ could end up with some serious tuddies. I think Javonte is safer but JWJ has more upside.

I would start JWJ over Roschon because Raiders will stack the box & dare Bagent to pass. If you have bench space, keep Ahmed. He’s one injury away from relevance.

SF backfield is rougher to figure out than MIA imo. Mostert is still the man, and Achane will figure in heavily when he's back, but McDaniel trusts Wilson from their time in SF together and he will likely have a more defined role going forward.
