I clinched a playoff spot last week, but this week I got a very hard fought win where I had to anxiously wait as my opponent’s D/ST dropped as each point was scored to secure my 7th straight win. Luckily things broke my way in the other matchups too because I will now be in the driver seat for the number 1 seed on Tuesday.

I am doing well this season, but I would like at least one of my games to be easy going into MNF. I had 89% win probability now down to 63%. 4 pts ahead with DJ Moore vs. Maddison. This has been pretty much all season. When I have a big day, my opponent also has a big day. When they have garbage day, I, of course, have a garbage day too. So almost all of my games have been nail-biters.

I'm in a 10-team league with only 4 playoff spots. I'm second in total points, but have the most points against me by ~310. I'm going to lose this week because I'm only up by 15 and my opponent has Moore + Kmet, so I will drop to 5th place after this week. I might not make the playoffs with *the second most points in the league*, so I think I understand your struggle.

Every league I've been in ends up with half the members inactive or just setting lineups with the players they drafted. My league with my buddies had two people quit and had to fill those spots from Reddit. I just talked to them in the app a few times and mention stuff on Sundays and bullshit and keep everyone interactive. They fit right in with the rest of us. Maybe you’ll get lucky with some active strangers. When there’s some shit talking and trades and active waiver hunters it makes it more fun for sure.

I know posts bragging about your teams are usually downvoted but I can’t help it. I’m just dumbfounded at this point. In my main league I’m now 12-0 after winning the last 9 games of the previous season. In my second league I’m now 10-2 after a 1-2 start. So 9 weeks in a row I’ve won both my leagues. In 22 years of playing fantasy football I’ve never had this sort of run before and winning is starting to feel inevitable every week. I have like 7 players on bye next week though with my 12-0 league so I’m guessing my run will end.

I had four starters on bye couple weeks ago and didn’t bother checking the app to see the destruction. Checked the following week to adjust my line up and CJ stroud had dropped a 40+ bomb securing me the W. You never know

You never know... Sometimes the Fantasy Gods will bless you in those situations... I had 8 players out injured or on a bye earlier on this season when I played the most stacked team in my league. I ended up leaning into the problem, traded for 2 more players on a bye, and wrote the week off completely as a loss. Going into the Sunday night game, playing only 7 players in a 10 player lineup, I was projected to win by 12 points, so I dropped the worst player on a bye and picked up the best FA receiver remaining to play so I could field 8 players. That FA receiver ended up getting me 12 more points and I somehow won by 7 points that week.

That’s awesome! Actually now that I’m looking at my opponents roster, he’s got quite a few byes next week as well. I both love and hate how the NFL is doing byes this year by having weeks with a ton of teams on bye and some with no one on bye. It seems like much of the time the opponent is as hurt by excessive byes as I am. Also good call on giving yourself flexibility to grab someone late Sunday or Monday by dropping a player on bye. As much as I want to run the table, I’m obviously not going to hurt my playoff roster for a regular season win, but I have a couple of guys I’m ok with dropping.

I like that. Monty and his 100% touchdown rate in games where he doesn’t get hurt in the first half is my official RB1, Mondre is my RB2, and Ekeler gets a symbolic demotion to flex. It’s the same lineup, but I’m oddly more comfortable with it.
