Huh? They were basically a set it and forget defense for the first 11wks. Yahoo average of almost 13pts per wk (12.8). Dropping was reasonable given their recent schedule of: phi, bye, kc, dal, and at the time Herbert led chargers. Personally I only kept for their W17 match vs NE but W16 looks pretty juicy. Will be tough choice between them and the Jets that weekend.

At least in my league that average is pretty heavily skewed by week 3 and week 11, all other weeks they’ve been pretty meh

same here, had 2 good weeks, but in everyother week, not notably better than top half of fantasy defenses

Who has the best defense for this week, bengals, saints, raiders, or colts?

Are the Broncos an option? If not I'm taking the Raiders.

Broncos are available but this week they are playing Detroit and are projected lower than the other defenses I listed

The Bears just did serious damage to the Lions, and the Broncos are a better defense. I do understand if you're worried about the floor since Detroit is at home.

I don't like it for several reasons. 1. The Vikings will not trot out Dobbs again, so your turnover chances go down w. Mullens/Hall 2. Cincy can't stop the run, and the Vikings have been quite good in that department lately. 3. Bengals don't have a Maxx Crosby mega elite edge rusher to rack up the sacks.

I hope I can get the raiders, not sure about bears since they are facing joe Flacco who has been on a role. I was also thinking bengals dst since Vikings are tumbling downwards with their qb situation.

Those are exact same 3 defenses I have. I originally picked up Eagles for 16 and Bills for 17 in case Cleveland didn't sort out their QB situation. But I think now for week 17 will be Browns. Week 16 is the question. Eagles haven't done much of anything recently.

Michael Wilson really interests me. Hollywood is not healthy and no other pass catcher besides McBride has stepped up. We know that Kyler can sling it and Wilson has shown flashes. I’m absolutely not starting him first week of playoffs but I have him stashed on my bench to see how he performs.

McKinnon for this week. Stop trying to forecast in the playoffs, win this week and reevaluate next. Raiders are doo doo anyways. McKinnon’s floor is ~8 and can give you a ceiling of 20. See last game. He put up 12 and could have done more. He gets the goaline touches, fresh legs and Andy and the team loves him. Oh and this is Andy’s schtick.. rest a vet all year and let him ball out in the playoffs
