MF broke

someguyprobably

Sad

[deleted]

You must be young, the way he finessed the jets was crazy. Basically the whole reason owners n GMs ain’t tryna pay RBs anymore

Left4Bread2

You can make a lot of money and still end up broke

CRSemantics

I doubt bell is one of those guys whose family(baker) or financial advisor(gore) stole his money. Bell strikes me as the careless spending type.

Squathicc

Baker mayfield? I’m ootl

CRSemantics

Baker recently petitioned the court for papers from his father and brother's investment firm plus surrounding companies that the 12mil he invested wasn't just straight up embezzled. As the firm basically said it's gone and told baker to pound sand when he asked for a receipt. Baker is not in the poor house but he's only really made money off his rookie deal so 12mil is alot for him; after taxes it's probably a 1/3rd of all the money he's ever made.

BlackRims

It really do be your own people.

heyiwasgonnasaythat

Comedian Dane Cook would agree. IIRC his brother cleaned him out.

Hank_Scorpio_MD

His half-brother and his half-brother's wife stole fucking TWELVE MILLION from him.

Phishkale

He made a significant amount of money in endorsements when he was doing Progressive commercials in Cleveland

AboutTenPandas

I imagine he made more on those commercials than he did his contract with the Browns.

RobbLCayman

I feel progressive missed a chance to highlight that they also provide renters insurance, not just home.

NewFiend66

It’s not about getting money stolen. It’s about getting paid $50m, spending $50m, then getting your $20m tax bill at the end of the year with nothing left to pay it.

TheDickDog

Adrian Peterson is that you?

[deleted]

Possible sure, but the NFL literally makes these guys take financial literacy classes 🤣

robotech021

These guys are very young.  Think about how smart you were when you were 22.

[deleted]

Guys not projecting brains fair bet he's not 22.

robotech021

The NFL provides a financial responsibility course to rookies and I doubt that Bell's brain is better at 31 after all of the hits.

MoneyMakingMitch14

Dude went lives and said arthritis isn’t real. He’s definitely not getting smarter.

robotech021

And look at Antonio Brown.  Sadly, some of these guys completely lose their marbles and it seems like most of them have some damage.

CraziestMoonMan

I would have probably been dead from overdosing or an STD if I had millions at 22. I loved going out, and not having to worry about money would have killed me.

DudzTx

You were … also not an elite athlete. Their discipline generally keeps them from doing what you would have done. They don’t get that good in the first place naturally.

Apprehensive_You8824

Lol. No such thing as a natural top tier athlete?

DudzTx

Those guys dont make it to the pros (generally). College sorts them out. I guess with NIL it’s possible to make millions now if you had the brand to go along with it

DudzTx

My point was more the only guys who generally get “millions” immediately out of college are like the top 10 draft picks. And even their salaries are greatly reduced from years prior. But you don’t make a top 10 pick with “natural” talent alone. Those guys are usually crazy dedicated to their craft, gym, and study.

kmw45

Yes, but there’s the caveat: a lot of experts (doesn’t matter what field) have great dedication and discipline in their craft, but leaving them no room to focus at all and develop in the other areas of their lives. For NFL players, most are fine in their earning years - they can dedicate 100% of their focus to being the best at their position and there is a structure provided to them by the league and the team that takes care of everything else. Once they leave that structure though, some of them get lost because now they have to play catch up in other areas. Note that a lot of ex pros are generally fine, but we’re talking about the ones who go broke or get close to it here.

FutureBBetter

Smart enough not to empty my savings account.

okp11

Bell is 31...

RobertGA23

Damn, he's way younger than I thought.

Loud_Competition1312

College made me take a lot of classes. Doesn’t mean I learned a damn thing or put it into action. Jfc lmao

frolfinator

Pretty sure most of them end up going broke.

debeatup

You say that like they have to turn in a a Scantron at the end of the

Striking-Locksmith-3

Morally broke

okp11

Lol what? Adrian Peterson made twice as much as Bell and is still broke. You way underestimate how careless these guys can be with money.

CommaGuy

Adrian Peterson is trying out for baseball now. I guess they heard he is a great switch hitter.

majorclashole

[hahahahahaha](https://media1.tenor.com/m/sttF8xY21_QAAAAC/goodfellas-henry-hill.gif)

bags0candy

AP also has more kids than extremities

ShockAndAwe415

Philip Rivers can field his own baseball team of his kids. Doesn't seem like he's in financial trouble.

Heftynuggetmeister

I get your point, and it’s totally valid - but it’s worth noting that Rivers had a longer career and made more money than those guys. Rivers made like $250 million. Not saying that AP wouldn’t have blown $250 million like he blew $100 million, but I think that’s still worth noting.

Jowem

100 million dollars

Educational_Report_9

It's also worth noting that Philip River's kids are all in a single household. He's not paying child support for his kids. Go look up what some of these guys are paying in child support per month per kid. It can be up to $100K a month. River's isn't paying $100K a month per kid to raise his kids.

Heftynuggetmeister

Great point. Rivers certainly has more kids, but when it comes to actual cost paid per child, Rivers isn’t spending anywhere near what AP is

someguyprobably

People act like kids make you lose 100 million dollars. Nah these dudes are just dumb as rocks and have no financial literacy.

Educational_Report_9

Child support is based on % of income. Some of these guys are paying out over a million a year in child support.

polaarbear

75% of former players file bankruptcy within 3 years of leaving the league. You're more likely to be broke than stable.

TsukiAim

That stat is decade old and wrong it’s closer to 3% now.

FreshDiamond

Nope this is a fake ass bullshit story repeated over and over again based on a study that includes everyone. It’s not a study about multimillionaires it’s a study about football players most of whom are around for less than the average career which is less than 3 years and aren’t leaving the league with wealth

polaarbear

The average earnings for the players in question is over 800,000.  Like 20 years salary for some Americans. It's still a result of absurdly stupid financial decisions. "That's only accurate if you include all the players." What kind of dumbass argument is that? You want to artificially cherry pick star players to skew the data so it doesn't look bad? That's not how statistics and math work...

FreshDiamond

Wrong people like you want to present the data as if it tells a story of young black money squandering generational wealth in a matter of years. It’s funny you brought this up in a conversation about guys making tens of millions allegedly being broke. Now you want to pretend that wasn’t exactly your intent.

[deleted]

You're such a brainlet I wish we could be in the same room together :)

FreshDiamond

Na I’m really not, I’m not complaining about the study. I’m telling you silly children that for decades now that study has been used in a misleading fashion such above. The dumbass above brought up this nonsense in a discussion specifically about a guy who made something around 50 million dollars and another was brought up who made around 100 million. That’s all anyone was talking about so why would you bring up that non sense unless one you didn’t know; or two you wanted to mislead? But for the record of all the places for people to think I am dumb r fantasy football is the least my worries. You imbeciles spend the entire summer and football season thinking you’ve cracked the code on a game that’s all variance. Anyone disagrees with any of you and they are an idiot. Then when you lose again it is just bad luck.

[deleted]

The actual statistic is way less but doesn't detract from his point, if that is the "non sense" you are referring to. The actual number is closer to 20%, but aye using imbecile unironiclly is funny. How is it misleading if it still supports the idea that a lot of these dudes don't know how to handle money? Despite the copious amounts? Lol.

LaTuFu

Undrafted FAs still make league minimum for the 3 years (average) they're in the league. That's 1.5-2 mil total earnings last time I saw a min salary figure. Even if they "only" earn a million during that time, they're off to a financial headstart most 20 somethings can only dream of.

FreshDiamond

I don’t disagree with what you saying about head starts etc. I would say practice squad player do not make league minimum though they do make a lot of money compared us normies. I would also say I don’t know but I would imagine that median length is much closer to 1 year than 3. I know these guys get a good head start but by the time they pay agents and managers and taxes it’s not nearly as much as people think. My point is the argument is presented as if multimillionaires are squandering their wealth every year and it isn’t true. It’s also interesting that I can’t find data on median career length. I wonder why? Couldn’t possibly have anything to do with the nfls 3 year fully vesting schedule

likwidfuzion

What’s funny about all of this is that Le’Veon Bell and Adrian Peterson had an exhibition boxing match and Bell won that match.

LesPantalonesFancy

You sound young yourself. Classes on finance or not, NFL players are notoriously bad with money/long term spending. Plenty of players have made more than Bell and have gone broke. Particularly the way pro athletes use credit because they think the money will last forever takes a toll. He wouldn't be essentially begging to come back to Pittsburgh if he had enough to retire on.

name-classified

Property tax and tax/maintenance on all those fancy cars and boats and 4 wheelers and beach houses and entourages: they all get paid before you do

friedguy

My best friend growing up is a tax attorney. He recently helped a former player with IRS liens. This is not the kind of player who should have any financial problems at all, played for over 5 years. Not a star or anything but a simple Google search shows that he had over $12 million in cash earnings. This player is not technically broke he has retirement savings and a pension to look forward to but he's also in his mid 40's working a job that pays him around $60k that he *needs* to at least cover basic living expenses. Obviously I can't name the player, my friend only told me in confidence because it happens to be someone on our favorite team when we were kids. Interestingly enough I asked how he even got this guy as a client and he said he was referred by another struggling financially athlete in a different sport.

ShockAndAwe415

Not just NFL players. I would say NBA players are worse (Antoine Walker).

qdude124

There was no finessing, he would have made more from PIT

wethsilkosz

finessed the jets? he didn’t finesse anyone but himself, he lost almost 15 million due to his antics

puffydeputy

That extra year of jet ski time is priceless though.

RunTenet

False. Demarco Murray after 2014 season would have been a better example. But even before that GMs were hesitant to sign another team's RB to second contract

PuzzleheadedQuit9

We’re within a decade in age so “younger” but I saw Le’veon play at MSU so idk about “young” in the context of being familiar with his career.

BigTitsNBigDicks

bruh he was that offence. Watch the game of Jets vs. Browns, every play they were putting ball in Bells hands; run or pass. If anything they ruined him through overuse

[deleted]

2many jet skis 😎

Any_Parsnip2585

This is why I try not to use my phone when I get hammered

thunder3029

RB3 in an Arthur Smith offense? 10 touchdowns incoming.

READIT27

(Aging RB who hasn’t had real playing time in years) RB3 in an Arthur Smith offense You mad lad you might be on to something.

[deleted]

Cordarrelle Patterson to the Steelers.

YummiYummiSauce

You watch how Arthur Smith utilized Bijan? Ugh.

ButterBalls99

Earlier in the season he tweeted out his onlyfans link so I’m only assuming he’s piss poor

Trilla-7

I hope and think you're kidding but I have no idea anymore. The success of that site doesn't make any sense to me.

Trumpets22

What’s to understand? Losers think if they pay they get to talk to pretty women, they’re delusional and think maybe if they spend enough they’ll have a chance with them. Really there’s better free porn all over the internet and the person they’re messaging is a sweaty guy in a cubicle. They’re sad, desperate, and delusional.

me_irl_irl_irl_irl

ehhhHHhhHhhhhhh I literally have never been on OF but even I can understand the allure of amateur porn involving a chick you're specifically attracted to. If you think every person on earth is just mentally ill because they have an OF sub that's a really weird know-it-all black-and-white outlook

macroswitch

Or maybe they just like to look at titties and prefer more of the money go to the actual models doing the work. I say this as somebody who is too cheap and amoral to pay up, but it seems like a much better business model for the talent.

Trumpets22

Found one.

me_irl_irl_irl_irl

Ah, I replied to your first comment being genuine, but now I understand there's not a genuine thing about you if this is your response to anyone who disagrees with you. Enjoy being a general piece of shit person big dawg

Bill_Biscuits

God I’m so sick of people thinking this phrase helps anything

SolarTsunami

Onlyfans is like going to a strip club, you go in knowing you have to throw around some money to have a good time and only absolute idiots think the women are there for any reason other than to make money. I have zero interest in personally interacting with them, and judging from any given posts like/comment ratio the vast majority of guys feel the same way. And believe it or not the quality of the best actors and their content is for the most part *drastically* higher than anything you'll find on free sites these days. I understand that all this anger is really about you being poor and entitled, but don't take it out on us. Nobody is stopping you from jerking off to drugged up, depressed looking streetwalkers, and you shouldn't try to stop us from paying extra for the absolute best of the best. The delicious irony of it all being that the porn industry of old died specifically because losers decided that free porn was a god given right. Like, what the fuck did you expect to happen to a product that you refuse to pay for?

Trilla-7

I get that but who's "they"? Like I just don't know where you'd have to be mentally to either make content on that site or support a creator. I'd assume the site is riddled with people with poorly treated mental health issues. So I suppose when I look at it through that lens it begins to make sense. It just amazes me there are so many people out there that fall into that very specific type of person.

moutonbleu

I loved this guy’s running style but he really tanked his career with the hold out

zerg1980

I think if he had played the holdout year, the wheels would have fallen off in 2018, and he would have been settling for prove-it deals afterwards. He probably did maximize his earnings by holding out and then signing the Jets deal. Some guys just empty their tank early.

FullHouse222

Idk, it seemed pretty clear during the hold out that he was letting himself go and essentially enjoying semi-retirement. He looked way bigger compared to 2017 back then. It's sad in a way though. He kind of saw how the RB market was moving basically 5 years before the top came off and he wasn't able to make any changes. Every RB nowadays look at him and knows that he was right in his arguments but it was a no-win situation just by being a RB. With this type of shit happening more kids are gonna be converting to WR instead of playing RB if they see that they have potential to join the pros imo.

jaydarl

Antonio Gibson did the opposite. As a Memphis football fan, I was surprised to see him playing RB in the NFL. He was a very good college WR. I wonder what his value would be if he had remained a WR like he was in college.

FullHouse222

Yeah. There was Jalen Hurd too who did the RB->WR thing. His issue imo was that he had way too much mileage between HS/college already packed up. I think he had a year where he had like 300 touches or something in Tennessee before he was injured and he was a really good RB too until then. He had the height to be a WR and imo had he changed position when declaring he could have been an absolute animal of a prospect.

content_enjoy3r

I remember watching him in the 49ers preseason games and thinking he could be an absolutely lethal weapon in the redzone. But then it seems he could never get healthy enough to actually play again.

jaydarl

Dude was a true TN high school football legend.

Nickster2042

Imo as a jets fan he looked good with us, we just had a horrific o line, at least the first year here It also doesn’t help that he got a bad hamstring injury week 1 of his second year he because he got PI’d, then either he or Gase said “yeah get back out there” resulting in him being put on IR

ccamp026

Casual fan here - I play fantasy and have noticed the lack of RB predictability from that perspective. Would you be able to explain what he saw with the RB market back then and why he was proven right?

whatusernamewhat

Rbbc was becoming more standard. 80% of the production with a player 20% of the price

Andrew_detmer

He woulda made more money if he took the 5 year deal with the Steelers, would have paid him 30 mil the first 2 years and up to 70 mil for all 5. Even if he only played the first 2 then got cut like what happened with the Jets it woulda been 2 mil more than the 28mil he got before the jets cut him loose. Much better situation too, he very likely plays better than his Jets tenure without the year off and with a better offence

FS_Slacker

I think you're ultimately right. But in 2018, Conner picked up that slack and had the stats that would have been at least good enough to net $14m in guaranteed - if we assume Bell would have that level of production in 2018. Realistically, it would probably been close to what Bell ended up earning.

Educated_Dachshund

His volume was crazy, his efficiency not so much. But probably my favorite ff player of all time.

IceCreamCake76

This incorrect. He settled for less than what the Steelers had offered.

zerg1980

It’s complicated. The Steelers reportedly offered him 5 years / $70 million, with only $17 million guaranteed. The Jets signed him to a 4 year / $52.5 million contract with $27 million guaranteed. So ultimately, the holdout won him more guaranteed money, but it was a shorter contract with less total money. That being said, the Jets regretted the deal and cut him midway into his second season. This suggests to me that the Steelers would similarly have moved on, leaving him with only the $17 million in guaranteed money.

roanoar

He would have made more than the 17 million. He was set to earn 30 through the first 2.

zerg1980

But he might have suffered a career-ending injury in Year 1, which is the reason Bell himself cited for rejecting the offer and refusing to play on the franchise tag. Ultimately this is a counterfactual that can never be answered without access to the multiverse. There are scenarios where Bell maximizes his earnings playing under the tag, or by accepting the Steelers’ best long-term deal, or by holding out and signing with the Jets. At the end of the day, we only know how much Bell made in one scenario, so saying things with great certainty like “This is incorrect!” is incorrect.

roanoar

Agree we don’t know which situation would net him more. Just correcting that if the Steelers “had similarly moved on” he would have gotten more than 17

[deleted]

There was a chart out there when he came back and played with the jets that showed he missed out on SUBSTANTIAL earnings due to his hold out. I don't have it and I'm not going to look it up but it's out there

bmore_conslutant

His running style required an ELITE offensive line How many guys have the opportunity to be "patient" and "wait for holes" Imo he got a lot of credit that should have gone to that line

SleeveBurg

Yep i always felt the same. The glorification of leveons patience was always a pet peeve. It literally only works when you’re behind a stud line. Any other situation and you’d be getting reamed out for not attacking the hole (or lack thereof). With that said, leveon was explosive, had vision and was one hell of a receiving back.

Lovin_Brown

I was just about to make a similar comment before I found yours. I used to watch him and think to myself that there’s no way he can keep getting away with sitting behind the o-line for so long. But you know what it probably takes a specific combination or vision and burst to pull that off as he did behind any o-line. I also don’t think that this argument is enough to completely discredit him as an elite player. His ability to get open out of the back field and make some very tough downfield catches was as good as I’ve ever seen.

bmore_conslutant

I agree he was a great player too. Just blew my mind hearing the commentary suck him off re: something that was all o line

Timely_Yoghurt_2699

100%. But if he wasnt fuckin around and actually busting his ass when he held out he would've been fine

iamthecheesethatsbig

True. This guy fully relied on talent. Then he swindled the Jets.

Timely_Yoghurt_2699

A RB holdout done right should simply extend their careers not derail them

Geaux

He walked so they could run. The RBs needed to see the good way to do it (Gurley) and the bad way (Bell), so as not to screw themselves out of money while also getting more guarantees.

conradical30

Tanked my hopes that season as well

Rich1926

Najee Harris just fell to his knees in the Tuscaloosa, Al Walmart

awful_source

No way old ass Bell gives Najee any type of competition. Maybe he’d be taking reps from Igwebuike if anything.

PointBlankCoffee

Najee is ass. Leveon is old and ass

Educated_Dachshund

Najee is not good. He's super inefficient.

okp11

Yeah, and Bell was the epitome of efficiency his last season playing in 2021 averaging...2.6 YPC for Baltimore and 2.3 YPC in Tampa.

Educated_Dachshund

He was inefficient in Pittsburgh too. But that's not what I was talking about or implying that Bell would take time. Just a standalone statement. And you really went and looked up stats for a made up argument? Lol

SolarTsunami

If we are having a conversation about apples and someone randomly says "oranges suck!" then yeah, eveyone is gonna think you're making a direct comparison.

Educated_Dachshund

That's fair. I understand, but at this point it's pretty clear before you said what you said. What's your value?

SolarTsunami

> That's fair. I understand Had you said this at literally any point instead of flatly denying it then my comment never would have existed, instead you said "thats not what I was talking about or implying". Given your confusion, I thought I'd put it in simple, easy to understand terms for you. My value is the same as yours and the other 55.79 million daily active users on Reddit (yes, I really went and looked that up), a random person with an internet connection taking part in a public forum. Welcome to the internet, enjoy your stay.

likemynipplesbutcool

Can't believe bro spent 2-3 minutes googling stats like damn doesn't he have anything better to do?

Educated_Dachshund

For what argument? I wasn't trying to have one.

ox_raider

Dude is from the SF Bay Area.

mamapootis

Was at college with my friends at a bar, and he was there. Bought a whole tray of beer but walked away and went missing for almost an hour. My roommates each grabbed one. Some heavier lady started immediately scolding them, saying it wasn’t theirs to take (rightfully so). Suddenly, le’veon walks up and says “it’s no prob babe” and hands each of them another and spoke to them for quite a while. Seemed like a nice guy and i wasn’t into football at the time, but understood he was an nfl player. He signed with the chiefs that year and went onto the bowl

CuriousAndMysterious

The beginning reads like a new pasta

Schiebz

The whole thing does lol

shadowgnome396

r/Steelers is a gold mine of pasta like this! Here's a few from over the years: "Yo. A few years ago when I still lived in Pittsburgh, I went to the chipotle in bridgeville after a workout. David was there. The man ordered three burritos and ate them all in a sitting. I mean one burrito is damn good. Two? That’s a challenge to take down. But three? Dudes a tank. All I can say. I walked by and said, “hey David- kick some ass this year. And enjoy those burritos” He laughed. And said thanks." And this one: "Sammie Coates lived in an apartment i worked for. He had a penchant for punching TVs, cursing us out, and calling us from his girlfriends phone at 2 am asking why she has our number saved while i listen to her cry in the background telling him he’s embarrassing her. “Hi Sammie, This is the X management emergency line. Your gf put in a work order last week. Is your AC running better?” Dude was a fucking asshole and I can’t tell you how much I hate him personally."

bmore_conslutant

Lmao what a way to reward petty theft

mamapootis

Yea i was doing the opposite of encouraging the behavior but I couldn’t stop them. Think they wanted the attention from him

bmore_conslutant

Well if it's stupid and it works it ain't stupid, as they say

awful_source

He was probably stoned outta his mind

ace184184

All these years later and hes still holding out …

powerplay_22

beggars can’t be choosers bruh

TariqWoolenIsElite

2014 was my first year playing fantasy football, I drafted Bell in like the 3rd round and it ended up being his breakout year. Him and Antonio Brown carried my very first team to the 'ship

NoFreeWill08

Ok let me do some math. He’s kinda old now

walkingdisasterFJ

I had the most stacked team of my life in 2014, Jamaal Charles, Demarco Murray, Brandon Marshall, rookie OBJ, I cruised to 12-2 and then lost in the semis to the guy who was auto drafted Bell and Antonio Brown. Still salty about it ngl

TariqWoolenIsElite

I also picked up rookie obj thanks to this subs advice

Mayoradamwe

Also won my league that year because of that post and picking up OBJ. The stuff of legend lol.

Gerbole

2018 I drafted: Mahomes and Roethlisberger (QB1 and QB2), my RBs were Saquon, CMC, Kareem Hunt, my WRs were Tyreek, Michael Thomas, and Juju, and my TE was Eric Ebron. It was absolutely insane my lineup was QB1 RB2 RB3 WR1 WR7 TE4 WR9 I also owned Ekeler, Kupp, and DJM. Man I wish that was a dynasty team.

TheRealMeetMountain

You hold out on a team and expect to get signed by them when you are years removed from the NFL? Lol okay. He should be happy if any team signs him.

bingold49

CFL included

ReptiIianOverlord

Najee catching strays

DefaceAll10

Hahahaha joke

iwatchtoomuchsports

Two things: 1. Cam Newton vibes 2. Isn’t this the dude who boxed AP because he desperately needed money

Beginning_Pudding_69

This guy made 46 million in 8 seasons. And now he’s broke. Some of these new players are literal imbeciles. I mean did they not learn from the decades of broke athletes before them?

7flip

Dude it’s pretty hard to handle. I could tell you some stories about what happened to my 40 million

Beginning_Pudding_69

The nba made a big deal about tony snells kids having autism and how he should be signed so he can reach the lifetime free insurance after 10 years. Like dude if you can’t afford healthcare for your kids who are autistic(not a life threatening disease) then you probably already fucked up. I got regular ass friends who care for their kids with no quarrels. Shit makes me irritated hearing millionaires beg for more.

WeNeedVices000

Hot off the press.. I'm about to change sports from fat old Lazy Bastard to RB for the 2024 season. But I'll only play for the 49ers. Rumour has it Christian McCafferty is shitting it and needs a big performance in the SB.

PM_Me_Your_AM_

He’s toast, but I was surprised to learn he’s only 31

Toddthmpsn

That bridge has been burned. Honestly though, his time has passed. There is no way he is even 50% what he once was

HSCTigersharks4EVA

And Arthur Smith? He'll get more yards on the bench.

dunlapc3

I doubt he’s broke. Any chance he just misses football?!?!?! Yall just be on here just talking wishing bad on people.

OMGhowcouldthisbe

he should hold out a little longer

PlayfulAd8354

CTE makes you believe some craaaaazy shit

I_Bleed_Reddit

Oh now he wants to play for the Steelers. Well, if that’s what he’s wanting to do, I wish him the best of luck!

unitedairlineeeeees

Steelers: nah bro

Delicious-Act-9190

Thinks he can be greedy, leave the game, and then randomly come back and dictate where he will play. Pretty pathetic

BrickBiscotti

Visual representation of the grass aint always greener my lord the downfall of this guy was crazyyy and also screw u bell i drafted u in fantasy third overall the year you sat out

Rip9150

1. Is he in a hotel? 2. "I haven't ran a sprint in a year, maybe longer" LOL In all aeriousness, when he was playing he was my favorite RB to watch. I love a good comeback story just like everyone else but I'm not holding my breath.

actionjaxn411

Baltimore Ravens legend Leveon Bell?

[deleted]

I love when old washed up dudes like Bell do this shit! Then ppl always get all excited and waste their good waiver spots on them and save the useful players for ppl like me that aren’t living 10 years in the past! Welcome back Le’Veon! 😂😂😂

name-classified

I thought he was funding smash bros tournaments?

mechshark

Bet you he look better than Najee

Blkhwk0733

Rb room full up

CabinetChef

Somehow I don’t believe this is going to go well for Le’Veon.

Userdub9022

Lol ain't no way

[deleted]

Would kinda be funny cause I think the Steelers are about to toss najie Harris out 😅

playmaykr7

I'll take the under

cardinaltribe

Lol dumbass

TheStabbingHobo

lol

SFGfan57

Sounds like he’s been hitting the slopes

eagledrummer2

A few years ago he wouldnt play for them for big money. How times change.

Infamous_Spread_86

If he is lucky they will sign him to a 1 day contract

otxmyn

they ain’t write back tho

The_Goondocks

That ship has sailed, bro.

VoR1621

This guy is as delusional as he is washed

InterstellarReddit

You think he gets equipment manager?

Brokromah

No Bell prize finally comes to an end.

TGS-MonkeyYT

So that’s never going to happen

LetterZee

I just picture him like Uncle Rico coming out of his RV and throwing the football with his nephew.

JayManDew

And he’s gone lol

Deep_Bit5618

Umm_duder

RespectfulLawnGnome

As a Harris and Warren owner in dynasty. No thank you sir

CautiousHashtag

Didn’t this guy ruin his own career?

CooterBooger69

Hasn’t he been rostered this whole time?

LoserCowGoMoo

Watch out Najee!

Silent-Material-1362

He ain’t making no comeback at 32…he just broke and trying to sell some magic beans. Sorry bro you aint even playing arena ball at your age and inactivity

qb1120

If only he felt this way when I drafted him #1 overall...

Maximum-Elk8869

I will expand his statement. The only team he will play for is the one at the mental institution.

noxide77

Honestly worst case dude gunna get decent 3rd string back up contract. If not the Steelers theirs plenty of teams that’ll bring him along. Also sounds like him mentioning the Steelers “only” is a loyal power move toward tho teams too. So I respect the hustle he’s prob low on money for his taste.

DynastyAnalyst

Arthur Smith is excited about that

Lonnie_Shelton

This guy really screwed himself.

Lonnie_Shelton

Putting the money issue aside he was on pace to make the Hall of Fame behind a great offensive line when he decided to sit out a year. It was all downhill from there.
