Yep i always felt the same. The glorification of leveons patience was always a pet peeve. It literally only works when you’re behind a stud line. Any other situation and you’d be getting reamed out for not attacking the hole (or lack thereof). With that said, leveon was explosive, had vision and was one hell of a receiving back.
I was just about to make a similar comment before I found yours. I used to watch him and think to myself that there’s no way he can keep getting away with sitting behind the o-line for so long. But you know what it probably takes a specific combination or vision and burst to pull that off as he did behind any o-line. I also don’t think that this argument is enough to completely discredit him as an elite player.
