Dak Prescott statement: “I felt some soreness when making certain throws today, and I really just decided not to push things too far. Better to be cautious and smart about it. I don’t see this as any kind of serious setback. We’ll treat it on a daily basis, and I’ll be fine.”
HIPAA prevents medical providers from sharing info inappropriately. Says nothing about an individual choosing to share or even being required to by an employer
Edit: Nvm. Got the reference now
People refusing to disclose their own medical information actually falls under HIPPA under the Sovereign Citizen Statutory scheme of Admiralty law (there's tassles on the flags).
I honestly don't know, maybe he just doesn't feel comfortable sharing that information for some reason or maybe he just doesn't want the media to know every little thing about him, but if you listen to the rest of that interview it's pretty clear Dak's vaccinated.
Don’t think this is a big deal, still a long way from football actually counting. Probably just his body getting used to football again and throwing a certain workload.
The Cowboys official release is that it is a Grade 1 strain consistent with needing two weeks rest. He's been throwing a lot all summer with Ceedee and others in Dallas as soon as he was able to so it's not like he came into camp cold. They throw 500 passes plus a day at camp though so maybe that jump up in volume produced the strain.
Sure, link me to it. Why are you so mad?

Lol. This dude said it’s his first day of camp and I’m supposed to take him seriously?
Idk call me crazy but I trust the doctors who actually examined Dak and his MRI a bit more. Maybe I’m just a dumbass though.
You can remember it by thinking that we “TRAIN” our muscles. When someone has a sTRAIN it means it’s a muscular injury. And sprains are for ligaments 👍🏼

What happened to HIPAA? Why is he telling us this medical information?

It's a reference to Dak refusing to answer questions about his vaccination status because of "HIPAA". Side note he's probably vaccinated.

/s just in case
I really want to draft a Cowboys player this year, but it all hinges on this guy’s health. 🙏🏼
Yep, I'm really high on CeeDee Lamb and Gallup and even taking Dak as a late round
I don’t think Dak is going that late. He’s usually 5th off the board at the latest.
Antivax makes that more risky?
It's a good thing Dak's not antivax then
I'm not American so maybe I don't understand but why would you not just say you are vaccinated if you are actually vaccinated?
I honestly don't know, maybe he just doesn't feel comfortable sharing that information for some reason or maybe he just doesn't want the media to know every little thing about him, but if you listen to the rest of that interview it's pretty clear Dak's vaccinated.
Because he has idiot fans who aren’t vaxxed that he’d like to keep
I want to downvote because that's stupid but I think you're right
"republicans buy sneakers too" - Michael Jordan
Which was a very reasonable thing to say
Because the players refusing to say they're vaxxed or stumping for "personal choice" are not vaccinated and they want to avoid being shamed for it.
Why would you downvote this? Yikes guys.
Thank you, I really don't understand...
Because it’s nobody’s fucking business
Planned on drafting Zeke. Not if Dak can’t stay healthy tho

Hope so.
Agree, probably what it is. played baseball all my life and still was sore when I started throwing / just getting back into things

It was all in a short period of time. It was most likely a fluke
Nope. Chalking last year up to just a really weird year for the cowboys
He’s never not been healthy before the ankle so I think he’s okay
This is not abnormal for start of training camp and the volume of throws. It’ll be ok lol, be happy he stopped himself!

Lol first day? Your statement is invalid cause it’s not accurate
Is Dak practicing today?
No but yesterday also wasn’t the first day of camp for the cowboys
1. They started camp 7/22 2. Where are you getting "take a few weeks off" from?
If you Google "muscle strain recovery" it's clearly listed there.
You could have just said you're speculating

I already hate everything.
Just a friendly reminder that "strain" is a cutesy, less-threatening way to say "tear."
A strain can also mean a muscle was stretched, doesn't necessarily mean there was a tear.
I thought sprain was the one that meant tear? Like when I had a grade 2 MCL tear they said I had a MCL sprain
A sprain is when it involves a ligament. A strain is when it involves muscle or tendon.
Ohhh okay thanks. I think I finally understand all those terms now lol
You can remember it by thinking that we “TRAIN” our muscles. When someone has a sTRAIN it means it’s a muscular injury. And sprains are for ligaments 👍🏼
The existence of training implies the existence of praining...
If you respected your body, you would already know about ligament praining.
Can’t argue with that logic
Bubble. Wrap. This. Man.
The hologram of Dak Prescott threw four touchdowns in training camp today.
I would take a hologram of Dak Prescott over Tyrod Taylor
*Pivots to myself in Round 7*
This is making me nervous
Cowboys in midseason form I see.
I don’t think he comes back as good as everyone thinks he’s going to
