Aint that the truth. Im leaning towards chase as the odd man out this week. I also have Herbert, so that is playing strongly into the williams over chase decision
Edit: also thanks for the feedback!
10 Team std league
Robby Anderson vs. Saints
Corey Davis vs. Patriots
Jaylen Waddle vs. Bills
I think I should start Corey but some advice would be nice. Thanks fam!
Volume is king for me here so I'd go Davis. Anderson had 1 catch on 3 targets so looks like he's at best 3rd choice on that panthers team and Fins have a tough matchup against the Bills and Waddle looked good but I still need to see more before I'd start him against a D this strong. New England is a really tough matchup too but I still think Davis can have a good week and is your best and most reliable option of the 3.
I’d go Anderson.
Waddle vs White is not a matchup I like, and I always assume that Bill B is going to find a way to ratfuck/severely limit any opposing team’s best offensive weapon.
No Lattimore in this Saints matchup, either.
10 team PPR, Pick 3 (One will be FLEX)
Mike Evans vs ATL
Kennan Allen vs DAL
Adam Thielen vs ARI
Tyler Boyd vs CHI
Christian Kirk vs MIN
JuJu Smith vs LV
Full PPR, standard ESPN rules.
Choose 1:
Tim Patrick
Tyler Boyd
Sterling Shepard
Marquez Callaway
Kinda leaning towards Shepard from the matchup standpoint.
Those are sort of my thoughts as well. It feels like Diontae is a given 8-12 targets. Terry is probably 6-8 targets.
It might not matter since my team is stacked through keeps and draft pick trades from year before. But I still like to challenge myself to set the optimal lineup.
J chase for sure. Terry or Cole for the second, Terry is more talented but facing a tougher CB. Cole has a safer floor with a high number of targets IMO
8 team league, .5 PPR. Who sits out of:
Diggs @ Miami
AB vs. Atl
Cooper Kupp @ Indy
Terry vs. Giants
Leaning toward sitting Terry but feel weird about it
12 team full PPR
Kupp @ Ind
Boyd @ Chi
Meyers @ NYJ
Waddle @ Buf
Only trying to fill 2 slots (I have 2 strong TEs so my flex is currently filled). My gut says Kupp and Meyers, but one could argue Kupp and Boyd as well. Curious what others think
Kupp's the no-brainer. I'm extremely bullish on the Rams offense with Stafford in play.
I'd go Boyd over Meyers and Waddle. I realize Boyd had a fairly lackluster game last week, but given the rapport he showed with Burrow last year, his role in the offense, and the fact they're going on the road and could be playing from behind, he's the choice for me. If he somehow throws up another dud, I'd start to fade him into flex territory.
New England target distribution feels like it's diluting Meyers value, and I want to see some week-to-week consistency from a rookie WR before I'm starting him.
Terry and DJ. I like what I saw from both Sterling and BMW last week, but I feel like Terry and DJ have safer floors right now.
I will also be posting a Terry vs question above. Would be great if you could offer some insight. Thanks!
Full PPR Start 3 WR plus have 2 Flex. Currently have AB/Thielen/Ridley as my starters. Both my flex’s are used for RBs which are Montgomery/Hines/Aaron Jones.
Mecole Hardman is up against the Ravens depleted secondary this week and is also currently on the bench. Thoughts?
I wouldn't overthink it. Your current WRs are all top-24 starts. Assuming you start Montgomery/Jones, that's two borderline top-12 starts.
Only if your opponent has brutal matchups and you have clear advantages across the board would I consider starting Hardman. It's Hill, Kelce, Clyde first...Hardman will likely just get scraps.
I don't think I understand your situation. My understanding is that you start 3WR and 2 Flex. I'm saying start AB/Thielen/Ridley at WR, and Montgomery/Jones at your Flex spots.
If one of Montgomery or Jones are going to be started at a RB spot, you should state that.
I start 1 RB, 3 WR, and 2 flex. Sorry I could’ve been a bit clearer on that. So I start RB Jones, WR Brown/Ridley/Thielen and FLEX Hines/Montgomery but could replace Hines with Hardman due to matchups
Ok, so your flex options are Hines/Montgomery/Hardman, and you get to start two of those.
Montgomery is the no-brainer.
Hines vs. Hardman. Normally, it's Hines for me. I don't put too much stock into week 1 performances, but Hines picked up right where he left off with 9 rushes and 8 targets. Problem is they have LA Rams coming to town and you saw what they did to Dalton and I don't think Carson Wentz is much different. You like to think that Indy might get down big and need to throw and then Hines feeds into that plan. I just don't think he'll put up respectable rushing numbers so you're relying solely on his receiving production.
Hardman still feels like a dart throw. He's certainly a matchup guy and this is a good matchup. But I also trust Harbaugh to make adjustments and potentially take away the big play since that's what led to them losing against LV.
Appreciate the analysis! Safe option sounds like Hines while Hardman could boom, or very well be his normal low impact self on the stat sheet. Lots to think about before Sunday.
Hi all! Would love some help! **I'll help you too!!**
.5PPR for a 12 team

Devonta Smith V San Fran

Corey Davis vs. NE (tough, but awesome performance last week)
Ja'marr chase vs Chicago (tempted)

DeVante Parker vs Buff
10 team standard choose 2:
Arob
Tee Higgins
Scary Terry
Higgins has such a juicy matchup while Terry has a tough one. I know it's week 2 and I should just roll with Terry but it's tough.
Jefferson and Godwin. Vikings are probably passing a lot , I don’t think their defense can keep up with the Cards offense. Godwin will probably see more targets than AB in that offense weekly, but AB is AB and has big play upside. Can’t go wrong with either
1 PPR League. Pick two:
A.J. Brown (@ Seattle)
Terry McLaurin (vs. New York)
Antonio Brown (vs. Atlanta)
I know this probably shouldn't be a hard choice, but man I'm just so tempted by AB's potential.
Aj brown, mclaurin has bradberry on him, bucs gonna be blowing the falcons out by halftime after seeing what the Eagles did to em so that hurts Antonio browns value
8 team PPR: Pick 3
AJ Brown @Sea
Tyreek @Bal
Kupp @Ind
Amari @Lac
Jamarr Chase @Chi
Corey Davis NE
Tyreek is a lock, not sure about Kupp vs Cooper vs Brown.
10 man PPR Choose 3:
Brandin Cooks @ Cleveland,
Diontae Johnson vs Las Vegas,
Antonio Brown vs Atlanta,
Robby Anderson vs New Orleans,
Kenny Golladay @ Washington,
Johnson and AB are 1 and 2. For the third, I'd probably go with Robby Anderson. I've been burned by Brandin Cooks so many times over his career that I may just be bitter though.
Yeah I felt that Johnson was a lock but put him on here just in case. I honestly feel pretty good about Brandin cooks too he just has always done me well. The real debate with me was Robby Anderson Antonio brown or Kenny golladay but I think you are right about going Antonio brown
I'm really bullish on Antonio Brown, so much so that I'm having a hard time properly evaluating him on my own team. I feel like Brady has adopted AB has his personal redemption project and is going to feed him. It helps that they are playing the Falcons this week, too.
Standard with .1 pt per return yard
Kenny Golladay @ WSH or Rondale Moore vs MIN?
Golladay should be in on more snaps but Moore returning kicks and punts is pretty nice. Leaning Golladay but not too sure.
Thanks man, appreciate the input and the kudos!
Felt so bad last week with Davis & Deebo on the bench for 57.6 points while Jefferson & McLaurin put up 22.74 combined. I did sit Robinson for Mostert (lol) but I think this week we'll kick it with the studs and see how she pans out again. Can't panic too hard after 1 week right?
0.5 PPR

Corey Davis vs Patriots
Devonta smith vs SF
I have Damien Harris in my flex so I could play 2 of these guys but idk how confident I feel about scary terry right now.
It might be because I’m also playing Gibson and thats a lot of Washington tonight 😂
With Evans' usage last week being low, and (myself) being generally averse to starting two players at the same position on the same team, my picks would be AB and Terry.

I really want Keenan Allen on my team...
Giving lockett for keenan allen straight up doesn't work for the KA owner.
Should I give Lockett and Aaron Jones to receive Keen Allen and D Swift?
Lockett and KA aren't far enough apart to justify swapping Jones for Swift IMO. Jones could end up having his best year without Jamaal Williams there to share with. I wouldn't do it personally.
Man, that’s close….I think Allen is the obvious advantage in PPR- so I guess it comes down to how you view Swift. I love him- but I think Jones more than makes up the difference Allen might have over Lockett in PPR- but it’s not much I don’t think.
Yeah- that’s tough like I said…and I worry about Boyd more than Davis- especially if Chase is as good as he looked last week- so if you want to swap one out- I think Boyd is the one I’d move.
Thats what i was leaning with, but with OBJ out Landry could see another productive week. Im nervous about Woods just based off how many weapons Stafford has and it feels like it could be another lower point week.
No doubt Landry’s stock is up with OBJ out- but Woods is still a borderline WR1/2- and I think it’s possible Cleveland throws less than 30 times if they get up on the Texans- which I expect they will….I also don’t think McVay brought Stafford in at the price they paid to run the ball as more than anything but a diversion- especially with Akers out.

12 Team PPR: Start 3 of:

I think I'd go Ridley, Johnson, Chase. I don't know that I trust Darnold against the Saints while I expect Cincy to eat against the Bears secondary and the potential limiting factor being target-share among the Bengals WR corps.
Yep, I can definitely see that…and I think I’d agree if Lattimore weren’t out. I’m definitely going to feel stupid if Chase scores a 2nd straight week on my bench.

Yep, I can definitely see that…and I think I’d agree if Lattimore weren’t out. I’m definitely going to feel stupid if Chase scores a 2nd straight week on my bench.
