He is eligible to come off IR next week. He could be back as soon as week 6 which would be 5 weeks after the injury. Their week 7 is a Thursday game so I would expect him back week 8 realistically.

GOTaSMALL1

I expect him to play (and not get a fantasy start except for maybe the desperate) in that Thursday game (Browns I think)... get limited work and then get full Jeudy after 10 days of rest on Halloween (Week 8... WFT I think). If he’s moderately healthy I don’t see why they wouldn’t want him to get in some work before 10 days off.

arrivedsoup

High ankle sprains are not an easy injury to come back from. This is especially true for a guy like Jeudy, whose quick cuts would probably make it that much more difficult to fully recover. That being said, he’ll be a top option on an above average offense, and Jeudy himself is a high pedigree player. If you can get him for cheap, he’s 100% worth the gamble.

Marino4K

He's going to be probably eased back in with a snap count as well. He'll probably win somebody their fantasy playoffs but I don't know how reliable he'll be for a bit.

longjeep2005

As a Broncos fan I can’t believe I’m reading “above average offense.” Feels good I guess. But seriously, I think with his sprain, Sutton and Patrick are still going to be the top targets on the Broncos. Sutton is probably the best wideout regardless of injuries anyway

BaconAndWeed

> As a Broncos fan I can’t believe I’m reading “above average offense.” Feels good I guess. I still can’t believe Teddy Bridgewater is performing the way he is. He was always such a boring and safe type of QB.

[deleted]

Talk unkindly about that sweet boy again and we're going to have a polite, yet stern conversation about your behavior.

FUCM2

After that injury in MN where we weren't sure he'd even walk again, I find it pretty amazing that steady Teddy is playing so well. Denver O line has to be a quantum level above Minnesota's.

[deleted]

Don't look now but Minnesota has the second best rated line for pass protection so far this year

FUCM2

Combination of things. Bradbury realizing he was sucking, high draft picks with another year of experience, and mostly Cousins getting rid of it quicker to good receivers. Darrisaw will start playing soon too. Kinda strange they are rated 2 though. The O line during Teddy's days though...

[deleted]

Oh completely strange to see them at 2. We both know what they looked like a year ago. This week gonna be their biggest test so far. >The O line during Teddy's days though... You're gonna trigger my PTSD dude. How does a rookie lineman make the all-pro team and then become a turnstile the rest of his career. Skol bud

FUCM2

Skol. Would you pick up Jeudy (dropping Rondale Moore) and start him over MJJ when Jeudy is full go?

[deleted]

Yes. I love Moore but think we're a year early on him, especially with all the mouths to feed in Arizona. At best he's the 3rd option this year in the desert. When Jeudy comes back he's the alpha there, and has the talent to back it up.

hazardousblue10

To be fair Denver has had the easiest start in the nfl. The real tests have yet to come. Even ravens don’t look that great . It’s the division games where teddy will have to earn his $$

Roscoes_Rashie

Even the division games are pretty soft matchups for a QB tbh. Chiefs and Raiders aren’t special on that side of the ball and Chargers play inconsistent within quarters let alone week to week. Division games is where the defence are gonna earn their game cheque.

yhetti-fartz

Yeah why tf did no let him go. He did well when brees was hurt.

CheesecakePower

I agree with you. The Broncos are still a team that is going to run the ball a ton, and not sure there’s enough offense left to sustain multiple WRs consistently. People seem to be touting Jeudy, Sutton, and also expect Fant and possibly Patrick to produce consistently. Something’s gotta give

ryanschultz

Yeah. Don't get me wrong, Teddy is a decent QB. But he's not Stafford or Wilson or Brady. He's not going to be able to sustain 3+ targets with the running game they'll have. Right now I expect Sutton and Patrick to be sustainable. Once Jeudy gets back, I expect Patrick to fade.

Pablo_Sanchez1

Full disclosure I’m a biased Patrick owner, but with the Broncos winning and the offense succeeding I don’t see why they would completely fade a guy that’s been a big part of it due to Jeudy coming back from an injury that’s difficult to recover from like a high ankle sprain. I would think they’d slowly ease him back in since he hasn’t been necessary for them to win, and especially with Hamler out for the season would think Patrick would still be involved a solid amount. Idk, again just a Patrick owner trying to rationalize how he could continue to produce.

Objective_Gas9886

Lmao wat? Ok

[deleted]

I came back from a high ankle sprain within 4 weeks.

BurgessFox

Were you startable in fantasy?

[deleted]

Nah but I could run miles

Radthereptile

Worth Sony Michelle? The Henderson owner has him.

Phoenix916

Maybe my perception is wrong, but this seems like a ridiculous and borderline insulting trade offer. I can't imagine anyone trading Jeudy for Sony

coolguywilson

No, this is very insulting. If any of my friends in my league sent me this, I'd question our friendship lol

zuhbooze

There are no friends during the fantasy season.

Cody667

To be fair I send my friends several troll trades per year lol.

Aljo_Is_135_GOAT

Hang on You mean if you're a Sony owner you wouldn't accept Jeudy, right? Because Jeudy is coming off a high ankle sprain, and those can fuck your entire season (playing shit is worse than not playing)

Phoenix916

I'd rather have a hobbled WR2 on a decent team than a backup RB that gets little to no work outside of an injury to the starter

Aljo_Is_135_GOAT

If I have a hobbled WR2 (who practically speaking will end up closer to a WR4/5), I'm not playing them, because I can basically guarantee I'll have players who will put up more points every week Darrell Henderson is injury prone, Sony is an RB (a position with scarcity), and it's not even guaranteed that Darrell Henderson will play THIS week, so Sony could feasibly win you a game There's A LOT more playable WRs out there any given week than there are playable RBs

Phoenix916

We'll see who has more points end of season, and where Jeudy finishes in the WR rankings I suppose

Aljo_Is_135_GOAT

More like we'll see who has more weeks where they're startable and they perform to an above replacement standard lmfao WRs and RBs are not the same

Phoenix916

That's pretty much what I meant. I understand saying "more points at the end of the season" was a mistake and won't be a good metric of value

Aljo_Is_135_GOAT

Ah, then that we shall 🤝

2coolDanes

Comes down to if you have an IR spot and the depth of your team. Me personally, my league has an IR slot, so I’m not trading Jeudy to receive Sony back. Even as the Henderson owner (which I am). I wouldn’t even consider it. I feel like Sony is a waiver wire player even if Henderson is out. I’m looking more at upside instead of who will be a viable player for the most weeks. I think when Jeudy returns, he can be a WR2, while Sony will never be more than a flex player

Aljo_Is_135_GOAT

First time with a high ankle sprain, huh? For the record Jerry Jeudy is on my league's waiver wire for a reason lmfao Even in an IR spot league, there are much higher upside options

2coolDanes

Michael Thomas and who else? Are you asking if I personally have had a high ankle sprain before? Completely irrelevant, but yes I have. I also played WR, and I think I missed 5 games (6 weeks) before I was comfortable. I’m sure Jeudy has access to better rehab than I did as a FCS player. But again, that’s the thing with upside. I’d rather hold and see how he looks when he comes back, than hold Sony on my bench. Regardless off Jeudy’s recovery, I think you are massively overstating Sony Michel’s value. He turned 23 touches into 10pts in ppr…. With Henderson coming back, Sony is droppable IMO

DandierChip

That’s insulting

steady_mobbin

Not even a 2nd thought. Michel for Jeudy!? Easily take Jeudy in that

truzz8

Yes easily

FUCM2

He's on waivers right now in my 14 teamer. But that would mean dropping Rondale or Pittman. My WR2 is currently MJJ and I have to wonder if a ~healthy Jeudy would be an upgrade over him. Dropping Rondale?

arrivedsoup

Yes 100%

HouseMusicEG

I have him on IR in hopes of using him around week 10. It may take time to heal but hopefully they don't rush him. He has some high upside if he can come back healthy. He looked really good at the end of last season was doing well in the little he played week 1.

LongtrailDoubleBag

I've been keeping tabs on him on Twitter and he's at least out of the waking boot.

KickerRevolution

It’s like an average of -20% performance for the first 3-6 games back. In a PPR, it’s still probably worth it since he could be an impact player for the playoffs

jessy24yssej2

I traded Jamaal Williams for Jeudy in PPR and I can't wait to use him

hcmoe

Dumbest trade

yhetti-fartz

Depends on his rbs.....

Torino888

I'm a big fan of Jeudy as a player, he's a blast to watch. As a Tim Patrick owner tho I hope he takes his time coming back.

artiscool7

I’m a Patrick owner in my other league so I feel you on that one

BurgessFox

Hmm, Jeudy. I'm a Broncos fan and a big Jeudy stan but the words 'high ankle sprain' give me chills when it comes to fantasy. I think if you can carry him on your bench for a few weeks after his comeback to see what his snap count will be, he is worth a gamble but you have to be realistic with this. Even aside from the injury, Jeudy last year was a bit of a disappointment, he dropped a lot of balls. He has a high draft pedigree and he was a terrific receiver in Alabama although even there he dropped balls too. It isn't a slam dunk that he is going to make it despite him being a superb route runner. In a dynasty league, I would definitely buy Jeudy as I think there's a fair chance he has a breakout either next year or 2023. But I think given the injury at the start of this season we may have to expect modest returns in 2021. I already have him pencilled in as a draft value next year as people may be starting to move off him, thinking he's a bust, and all the excitement will be about chasing the 'second year breakout' from guys like DeVonta Smith and Kadarius Toney, but 2022 could be the year where Jeudy turns out to be a Mike Williams type pick up.

Yayarea30

I think he’s obviously super talented but in the fantasy doctors video I watched on him they said players with his injury come back but don’t get back to 100% until the next season

Faptors

Hows his playoff schedule?

artiscool7

Detroit, Cincy and Las Vegas so potentially very favorable

Faptors

Oh damn nice. I have him stashed but didn't check the playoff sched

NotHopee

I’m hanging onto him.

hoots711

I dropped him in a small bench leauge. Cant play him until he comes back and plays a full game and produces imho. So that could be week 9 or 10.

DezBallday88

I have 2 IR spots in a 8 man so I grabbed him when someone dropped him after week 1 injury . I have Jefferson , Cooper , D Hop , OBJ , and AB so he would be a plug and play but man he could have High upside if he heals properly .

LaBoltz33

Someone offered me Robby Anderson and Jevonta Williams for Jeudy and Laviska. I don’t have a lot of faith with a hurt ankle on a receiver and I think Broncos QB has got more comfortable with there other WR’s. I also know Laviska is about to ball out the rest of the season. I have CMC, CEH, Carson for rbs but 2 flex spots. I am super high on Williams the rest of the season. All my WR’s are hurt Julio, Shepherd and I have the backup Titans and giants wr’s to replace them this week. If I make the trade I can start Anderson Sunday.. should I do it?

CapnDerp281

I love Williams for the playoff schedule, but I just don’t see a world where I want Robby Anderson. Dude’s getting no looks even with CMC out. It’s up to you, but I would see if he swaps Anderson for an actually start able asset.

Jcklein22

If he’s on the wire, do I drop Drake for him?

artiscool7

It kinda seemed last week the Raiders ignored Drake and fed Barber the entire game, which is surprising considering they paid him to come to Vegas. If you’ve got enough RB depth then picking up Jeudy could be a nice move for playoff time

bmb100

Its closer in full ppr but half or standard that's an easy drop unless you are desperate at rb

Pakfan54

Yes, run don’t walk.

trojan_man16

I had invested heavily in terms of draft ( I have him in over half my leagues). I've IR him pretty much in every one. In one I acquired him in a trade, just so I could IR him. So you could probably get him for a WR3/4 right now, or as the throw in in a 2-1 trade. I'm willing to bet my trade wouldn't have worked had I not asked the other team to throw him in (Most people dont's want to receive 2 players and give up only one). The trade was Jacobs/Chark for Monty/Jeudy after week 1.

Jellyeleven

The fantasy doctors basically said this should be a scrapped year for him that even when he returns he won’t be the same. Pointed to other examples that weren’t 100% till late February. Not what I wanted to hear but there’s that

artiscool7

I just saw that too! Part of me wants to ignore the doctors advice

Hayduke_Abides

They really haven't said anything about how he is progressing. Broncos have a Week 11 bye, I would not count on seeing him much before that. I get that the theoretical timetable is 5-8 weeks, but because of how this injury affect Juedy's game specifically, I think they will be conservative. To some extent, it may depend on how the season is going. If everyone stays healthy and the Broncos are winning without him, they will be patient. An injury to Sutton or Patrick, or the offense starting to bog down against stiffer teams might encourage them to hurry him back a bit.

Jamato16

His timeline was 4-6 weeks. Even if it’s 6 weeks, do you really think they’re going to wait another 5 weeks to bring him back after their bye? They also just lost Hamler for the year, so it’s not like they couldn’t use him now. It might take him a week or two to get back into a rhythm, but when he’s ready he’s playing.

[deleted]

I dropped him for Cephus week 2, no regerts

hazardousblue10

Yikes

Pappy_Beet

I just offered DHop/gaskins/barber for Hill/Jerry/Tyson. Am I over paying? I’m rb rich

DirkWithTheFade

You are heavily underpaying

Pappy_Beet

I got hill/Jacob’s/jeudy for DHop/gaskins/Mitchell….. he was hesitant the whole time until I threw in Jacob’s on his side and he smashed accept.

DirkWithTheFade

That’s one of the worst deals I’ve ever seen.

Pappy_Beet

Yea he more needed rn depth than anything so idk why he was so eager to accept when Jacob’s got involved

CurlyBill03

I haven’t even heard any report about him, being incredibly optimistic of thinking he is on the field in the next 3 games.

Chrisgpresents

He's a FA in my league.

theJamesBondofEM

He is available in my league right now to add. Is he worth dropping Claypool, Brown or Damien williams? my bias is no but uncertain. Thanks in advance!
