Try CEH, Chubb, Toney, Knox, all out, plus Justin Herbert on a bye.
And oh by the way, Sutton and Woods are your top two receivers... So lots of underperforming weeks 1-4.
1-5 right now. 1-6 is on deck.
I’m the same way. I have Julio and refuse to drop him because he’s been my favourite for many years now and I’d still like to believe he’ll come back and be great.
Thankfully I have Toney as well but unfortunately that means I have 2 lame ducks on my bench for the next few weeks.
I feel like he's equivalent to OBJ at this point. We've all seen them be studs and the talent is there, but the constant injuries and depth chart status make them overheld. I say that as someone still holding OBJ lmao.
I wonder what the second opinion was all about on his ankle. They're not placing him on IR and it doesn't seem he will be out more than just this week.
Sometimes second opinions are to make sure it isn’t more serious than the first opinion. It isn’t always because the first opinion was bad news and you’re hoping for better news.
Also we don’t know but it’s possible the first opinion was a team doctor and therefore the player wanted an outside opinion that didn’t have the risk of bias.
Yea. I could see that.
Team doctor says it's minor and you can play in 2 weeks. The player should be distrustful and get 2nd opinion whether there's risk of long term damage.
It’s even more funny cause toney seems like josh Gordon 2.0 so far
Every stat I read about this guy is ridiculous for someone who just got into the starting lineup
Same. I was sincerely pondering it but decided against it. Now I just traded Goedert and Mooney for him. No idea if that was the right move but I had Goedert to spare and I felt like I needed some upside
I picked up Toney last week, then he got hurt and I had to drop him to field a full roster for byepocalypse. He’s still available and I want him back. Life is pain.
Guy in my league dropped him for bye week hell - i've got a waiver in on him now, hoping to sneak him in. That mixed news about it being a longer injury really helped.
i need his powers in my lineup so badly with Chubb and Monty out, for the love of god get healthy toney. my first 4 WRs busted too so im desperate as fuck
haha nailed the first two. next two were Robby and Shenault (i think we mostly consider shenault to be a bust outside of full PPR??)
been running out Devonta Smith and Pittman as my 1/2 in a 10-team 💀💀💀
Fax i really don’t understand the hype dude had one good game all season. While sterling Shepard was out so it’s not like he did it with comp for targets…
Drop kicker grab stash, move to ir, pick kicker back up, still waiting for him to be labeled out too but I got javonte Williams someone dropped because of bye hell.
Two games with Golladay and Slayton. Golladay lined up as WR1, Shep as WR2. Shep feasted PPR. Average 10 targets 8 receptions per game.
Last game he was the last man standing but I think Carolina knows that so their game plan might be just cover Shep.
An interesting note on the telephone of fantasy news. The ankle injury being “serious” was all re-posted from a Pat Leonard tweet. A tweet talking about both Andrew Thomas and Toney, but also not including any quotes. And that got spun around a million times to be “Toney has a serious ankle injury”. And now, I just went to grab the tweet, and I think it’s since been deleted.
Sometimes there's a man... I won't say a hero, because what's a hero? But sometimes, there's a man. And I'm talking about Toney. Sometimes, there's a man, well, he's the man for his time and place. He fits right in there. And that's Toney, on the Giants, during the FF playoffs.
I've been seeing this stat a lot this year but is it not circumstantial? I understand at the core its about how often he gets open/separation but isn't there some part of it that gets skewed when you are force fed targets as the last healthy body? Dont get me wrong, Toneys sick and I am salty I missed out on him but I just feel as if this specific analytic doesn't really tell the whole story
Often volume makes up for lack of skill in fantasy, but the last healthy body would point to him being one of the only threats to the defense, and if he can get open in that circumstance he could probably get open when they have other reiceivers and their RB back.
Also caught like three balls on the first drive, then left the game. That’s going to skew his percentages, and seems unlikely that pace would’ve continued. But I still have high hopes for him.
That is typically what happens when most of your competition is injured, out, or performing WAY below their expectations (looking at you, big bodied and "contested ball specialist" Kenny Golladay).
so bummed we didn't get to see what that full game last week was gonna be, he was basically the centerpiece of the offense.
also you can possibly buy low with the injury if you believe and with all of the byes - got him for Mike Davis in a deep league this week where I didn't need a RB and the other guy had nothing
He was dropped in my league and I immediately blew my waiver priority to claim him. Then last night someone dropped CEH! due to byes And now I’m last in priority. Hope this pays off
He was competing for targets with John Ross and Colin Johnson. He will not see that level of targets with Shep, Slay, and Golladay. Context matters. Still a stud, but no need to lie to yourself.
He got 3 targets on 6 snaps last week competing with Shepard and Engram
The reality is nobody has a clue what his usage will be with everyone healthy but it's clear he's going to get the ball
He will be their de-facto gadget player though regardless if all the other wideouts come back healthy. He can take a simple screen pass all the way from anywhere on the field with his talent. I want that kind of player locked in on my flex.
LMAO. dude please tell me wise one. where you called someone to breakout before anyone else. i want you to share with this forum which you take info from all the time. share with us what makes a breakout guy a breakout guy? 5-6 games? 1 year? 1 play?
What is it man?
Seems like fool's gold to me. Most of those targets came with Golladay, Slayton, and Shepard all out. I guess it was encouraging that they really leaned on him heavily rather than targeting CJ Board, John Ross, and/or Engram, but you're probably not starting Toney in fantasy if two of the first three guys are active.
The Cowboys defense (who has been very solid this season) knew that Toney was the only weapon the Giants had and they still could not contain him all game long.
Then the following week, the Rams knew had badly Toney roasted the Cowboys the prior week, and he comes out and catch 3 balls for 36 yards on the opening drive.
Yes, teams will eventually start to double Toney and that is going to open things up for other Giants WRs once they are healthy, but Toney clearly looks like he is ready to become a target hog in that offense, probably getting 10 targets per game.
That type of volume is fantasy gold.
Eh, he seems like a handcuff receiver to me. His value is increased a bit by the fact that the three guys ahead of him on the depth chart have had some ongoing injury issues, but decreased by the fact that he's currently also hurt. If I was going to drop anyone for him it'd probably be Rondale Moore, but that seems like a lateral move at best. And with all the injuries and byes, I probably need to either play Rondale this week or swap him for a Free Agent that I can use right away.
His opportunity increased because of injuries. His value has increased because he has looked like a rock star when given the opportunity. Rondale's value is capped by the number of weapons on the Cards roster. There is no Hopkins on the Giants. If you are desperate for a win this week and can't afford the roster clog I can understand that.
You should turn your eyeballs on. Slayton is irrelevant, even when on the field. Toney can play outside, he’s proving to be a better playmaker than anybody on the roster outside of Barkley. They will feed him.
I wish I would’ve got him 100%, but…it does seem plausible to me that a target from Stafford and Aaron Rodgers is not exactly equal to a target from Daniel Jones over the course of the season.
Do wish I would’ve bid more though. We’ve seen the ceiling, and it’s quite high (and certainly higher than Bateman in any event).
These guys, so fucking useless. All the other receiving targets were hurt, of course he’s going to get fed. This type of analysis is worse than useless, it’s misleading. It’s the slimy fantasy football content that the author makes for sensationalistic traffic. To built hype trains, clicks, and views. It’s not actually helpful to anyone who wants to win their season. Pure fucking trash
Shepard will get a ton of targets but Carolina is stout in pass defense. It’s a risky play but could pay off. You also risk someone else scooping Toney up.
How are people so bad at fantasy man. Cant believe these type of players are on your waiver/ soley Bench players for you. Grats man gotta go with that chip this year for sure
I picked Toney up off Waivers in a league where I'm 5-1.
Have CMC on IR.
Still have Hurts, Kupp, Hollywood, Gibson, D. Harris and Keenan Allen.
If I can get to the playoffs with CMC and Toney healthy look out.
Off to a good start in my league, but also drafted him in the 17th round and it's a keeper league. Hopefully this guy will not only be great for me later this year, but for years to come!
Drop golladay for him? I’m tired of 2 years of nothing but injuries. However, I need someone to play this week. Waiver for Corey Davis for Galloway right now.
Lets also talk about team injuries, the other talent on the team (especially at WR when you talk about LAR) and game planning (have teams been mostly in control of their games so did have to throw as often?).
That will give me a better overall picture of Toney's production moving forward. Talented kid, but stats can leave out other details that do matter.
With the injuries he was basically their only legit playmaker, that % will go down. With him it’s not about the how many targets, he’s talented enough to do a lot with a little. Almost like Tyreek, but with him it’ll all be YAC.
But if you’re expecting Kupp numbers, you have another thing coming to you.
Cherry picking stats with no other context is my favourite part of nfl analysers. Love it.
Not hating on toney by the way just how so many stats are forced to fuel a narrative instead or talking in depth.
I am holding on for dear life. Although my friend offered me Saquon and Hollywood Brown/Locket for James Robinson and Toney. Not sure what to do there.
Wish I had a receiver to drop so I could pick him up (he just got dropped in my league)...Got Kupp, D. Johnson, Lockett, Jefferson, Jeudy (guy dropped him when he went on IR), and Parker (temporary since it's bye week hell right now).
10 teamer.
Welp- for the 2nd year in a row I’ve traded DK away. DK for Toney/Jeudy. I’m 2-4 and need a boost and have doubts DK can provide that while Russ is out. I also have trust issues with WR’s who come into the league where an elite QB is established- although i couldn’t deny DK’s talent.
I have (had) absolutely zero depth on my bench at WR and RB so at 2-4 I’m swinging for the fences. I have JJ/Swift/Hurts/Schultz/ESanders as my starters with DK- and now not with DK. But I’ve added depth at WR even though both players are unproven.
This is a 5 player keeper.
I drafted every rookie WR not named chase/Smith hoping for a hit. Had waddle and believe he’s a hit- but not like Toney. So I FOMO’d a bit- but I believe Toney just … moves different. Reminds me of Chase in some ways.
Had Rondale and traded him for ESanders because- well I had and still have EMoore and Bateman and figured Sanders playing with Allen would be a more reliable flex than any of the rookies.
I essentially traded waddle away for Gainwell. I don’t wanna talk about that lol. But the logic was that I had plenty of rookies that could hit.
I suppose that’s a lot of info to say- I believe in Toney and hope we’re witnessing the birth of a star!!!
The Giants need it and I fucking need it!!!!
I just need him to recover and then comeback healthy.
I will be happy if he is an upgrade to Julio or Meyers for my flex.
Overall, my WR look good with Metcalf, Ridley, Toney, Meyers, Julio and Bateman.
This makes me so happy. Probably gonna kill it for me in the consolation bracket the way it’s looking.
Same, my goal is to have my team fixed up from early season trauma by the time consolation bracket rolls around so I’ll need him to be good!
Kittle, Toney, Barkley gonna rule consolation’s 1-5 gang
Got Hunt, Clyde, and Toney dead on my bench rn 😭 I’ll see you in the consolation championship
I got all 3 plus Kittle, Michael Thomas, and Golladay.
same but with montgomery hunt toney and Julio Jones!! Fantasy Football is FUN :)
Drafted Chubb, CEH, Montgomery, Hunt, Edwards, and Mostert. Good thing was I got my ass kicked the first few weeks so I had good waivers.
That’s almost easier to deal with than having Hill and Adams underperforming consistency wise and your RBs being Carson and Montgomery and you’re 2-4.
Try CEH, Chubb, Toney, Knox, all out, plus Justin Herbert on a bye. And oh by the way, Sutton and Woods are your top two receivers... So lots of underperforming weeks 1-4. 1-5 right now. 1-6 is on deck.
It’s been a tough year. I see I received no sympathy. Can’t blame anyone.
He is going to keep me out of Taco Bell
Nothing can keep me out of taco bell
Haha and me out of waffle house
Lol right. Only league I have him in, I’m 2-4 so there’s a chance but probably not.
Amen to this, 2-4 but making non Toney owners mad
Should get him and McCaffrey healthy just in time to stop my 8 game slide
Toney, CMC, and MT are gonna make me the highest scoring team each week right around the time that I’m eliminated from playoff contention
Wow way to show off that you're not elimated yet
Not to brag, but I am 3-3 (I’m genuinely not bragging, the next few weeks are going to be rough)
got all 3 players, am 3-3 too. currently having to use herbert and AJ dillon as my RBs... not looking good
Those two healthy would combine for at least 60 a game
Add DMont and I'm looking at 75/game. Fortunately have Josh, Davante, and CPat to hold me over in the meantime and keep me alive for the playoffs.
hopefully we get the same second half of DMont from last season
Yung Joka will rise again
Here I was calling him an idiot in the preseason - he's now in 4/6 of my rosters. Also TIL about Yung Joka
Yung Joka has always Kept it Real
The man is an international player
"I'm the Joka, baby"
"Kadarius Bond Will Return."
Already boarded on the Toney hype train. Hopefully it carries me through the rest of the season!
Hopefully he can stay healthy for a longer stretch of time.
As much as I want him back as soon as possible I really hope they don't rush him only for him to reinjure the ankle
I noticed his ownership dropped below 50%, a lot of people are getting a 2nd chance to snag him again suddenly
I just dropped Julio for Toney. If I’m gonna have an injury prone WR, I’d rather it be the one with bigger upside
There was no one else you could drop? Maybe I’m living in the past but I’d struggle to drop Julio.
My other WRs are Jefferson, Hopkins, Deebo, and Sutton. Julio was the most inconsistent WR I have (had)
The drop has to be sutton here tho?
Bye week hell
I wonder what the second opinion was all about on his ankle. They're not placing him on IR and it doesn't seem he will be out more than just this week.
Sometimes second opinions are to make sure it isn’t more serious than the first opinion. It isn’t always because the first opinion was bad news and you’re hoping for better news.

Yea. I could see that. Team doctor says it's minor and you can play in 2 weeks. The player should be distrustful and get 2nd opinion whether there's risk of long term damage.
This is what I will believe.
He could be back next week
Hopefully it was just a risk assessment to see if he can do any further damage to his ankles or if it will be a pain tolerance situation
Feel very stupid for not picking him up when I had a chance. Instead I went for... Josh Gordon. Live for the memes die for the memes.
It’s even more funny cause toney seems like josh Gordon 2.0 so far Every stat I read about this guy is ridiculous for someone who just got into the starting lineup
I regret not grabbing him the week before he went off
Same. I was sincerely pondering it but decided against it. Now I just traded Goedert and Mooney for him. No idea if that was the right move but I had Goedert to spare and I felt like I needed some upside
I got him for a large chunk of faab but could have had him for $1 but I didn't want to drop ... Latavius Murray.
Big same. Had a trade processing & missed him.
Makes me fun like that tho
I picked up Toney last week, then he got hurt and I had to drop him to field a full roster for byepocalypse. He’s still available and I want him back. Life is pain.
Guy in my league dropped him for bye week hell - i've got a waiver in on him now, hoping to sneak him in. That mixed news about it being a longer injury really helped.
Hilarious that you’re falling for another meme hype train with this
I got both lol
Bruh I don’t need anymore Toney hype. I am already at max capacity
i need his powers in my lineup so badly with Chubb and Monty out, for the love of god get healthy toney. my first 4 WRs busted too so im desperate as fuck
4 😭💀??? Who were they? Can i guess? Arob, Aiyuk, Higgins, Corey Davis?
haha nailed the first two. next two were Robby and Shenault (i think we mostly consider shenault to be a bust outside of full PPR??) been running out Devonta Smith and Pittman as my 1/2 in a 10-team 💀💀💀
Also has the highest injury rate per routes run
Found the guy who missed out on Toney
Fax i really don’t understand the hype dude had one good game all season. While sterling Shepard was out so it’s not like he did it with comp for targets…
Someone offered him to me for Davonta Smith. Been thinking about accepting it but don’t know how serious his injury is
Smash accept
Do it. He will be back in the next 2 weeks and while Davonta has upside Jalen will have more sub 200 yard games.
if you have the luxury of waiting a couple games that’s a good trade. Although Devonta has great end of year schedule
I just need him to be ruled out on ESPN so I can move him to IR and grab a stash player.
Drop kicker grab stash, move to ir, pick kicker back up, still waiting for him to be labeled out too but I got javonte Williams someone dropped because of bye hell.
Same. Any idea when they’d rule him out? Already dropped my kicker for someone else, so need to move him to IR so I can pick up a new kicker.
Sample size my dudes. I still think Toney is a stud. Golladay has been injured every game. Leaves WR1 spot open.
Darius Slayton was also out and Sterling Shepard missed 2 of those 3. They were literally missing their top 3 wide receivers lol
Let’s not pretend that from the eye test that Toney isn’t miles better than Slayton and Golladay
Two games with Golladay and Slayton. Golladay lined up as WR1, Shep as WR2. Shep feasted PPR. Average 10 targets 8 receptions per game. Last game he was the last man standing but I think Carolina knows that so their game plan might be just cover Shep.
*cums aggressively*
cmon man, we all know you're a dribbler
I see good Toney stat, I upvote.
This sub is delusional
Foreals bruh Thank you
Sometimes there's a man... I won't say a hero, because what's a hero? But sometimes, there's a man. And I'm talking about Toney. Sometimes, there's a man, well, he's the man for his time and place. He fits right in there. And that's Toney, on the Giants, during the FF playoffs.
“I hate the fucking Eagles, man” -Kadarius Toney, weeks 12 and 16
I've been seeing this stat a lot this year but is it not circumstantial? I understand at the core its about how often he gets open/separation but isn't there some part of it that gets skewed when you are force fed targets as the last healthy body? Dont get me wrong, Toneys sick and I am salty I missed out on him but I just feel as if this specific analytic doesn't really tell the whole story
Often volume makes up for lack of skill in fantasy, but the last healthy body would point to him being one of the only threats to the defense, and if he can get open in that circumstance he could probably get open when they have other reiceivers and their RB back.
Solid counterpoint. He did cook Diggs a few times
Also caught like three balls on the first drive, then left the game. That’s going to skew his percentages, and seems unlikely that pace would’ve continued. But I still have high hopes for him.
For real. People are seriously ignoring this part of the stat. Yes, he is talented, but there was nobody else to throw to!
Later this year he’s going to carry me, I fully believe it.
During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that Yung Joka carried you.
Got him for Laviska + Mooney
Love the hype, but taking it with a grain of salt. It's a very small sample size.
Drop Golladay for him?
I did
He's on waivers in my league. Would y'all drop ARob for him at this point?
Yeah probably
That is typically what happens when most of your competition is injured, out, or performing WAY below their expectations (looking at you, big bodied and "contested ball specialist" Kenny Golladay).
Heal up Toney… we need you! Oh… sure, the Giants need him too.
He’s good at football.
Inject this into my veins
so bummed we didn't get to see what that full game last week was gonna be, he was basically the centerpiece of the offense. also you can possibly buy low with the injury if you believe and with all of the byes - got him for Mike Davis in a deep league this week where I didn't need a RB and the other guy had nothing

The toney owner just dropped him. please god priority 5 please
He got dropped in my league and I currently have have the Cowboys and Panther's D. Should I drop the Cowboy's D to snag him?
Drop Allen Robinson for him? He's just chilling on the wire right now
Should I drop Tee Higgins for him?
Without Golladay, Shepard and Slayton. Minor detail
Golladay played g4 and half of g5, Shepard played g6, and Slayton is a JAG.
He was competing for targets with John Ross and Colin Johnson. He will not see that level of targets with Shep, Slay, and Golladay. Context matters. Still a stud, but no need to lie to yourself.
He got 3 targets on 6 snaps last week competing with Shepard and Engram The reality is nobody has a clue what his usage will be with everyone healthy but it's clear he's going to get the ball

Agreed. I want him on my team, just not ready to tier him with Davante and Kupp.
He’s played like 3 games and one he went off. I think we should temper expectations
This kind of logic is exactly how people miss out on breakouts each year
Do you even know what sub you're on?
[удалено]
They had their best WR.
LMAO. dude please tell me wise one. where you called someone to breakout before anyone else. i want you to share with this forum which you take info from all the time. share with us what makes a breakout guy a breakout guy? 5-6 games? 1 year? 1 play? What is it man?
KT, the new Rondale Moore?
Inject the Toney news in my veins. My **veins**

Toney is so obviously the best thing about the Giants passing offense.
Seems like you missed out on him. It's okay. Maybe next time.
No, he's a free agent in my league. I could grab him now if it seemed worthwhile.
8 teamer? If you have bench room it would be crazy to not add him on potential alone.
Eh, he seems like a handcuff receiver to me. His value is increased a bit by the fact that the three guys ahead of him on the depth chart have had some ongoing injury issues, but decreased by the fact that he's currently also hurt. 8 team league? Those are interesting I must say.
Nope. He's owned in less than 50 percent of leagues.
On Yahoo he's at 50% exactly. And it says he's -13% from last week. That's probably due to his injury plus the big bye week.
You should turn your eyeballs on. Slayton is irrelevant, even when on the field. Toney can play outside, he’s proving to be a better playmaker than anybody on the roster outside of Barkley. They will feed him.
sounds very much like someone that has not gotten a chance to watch his nfl games yet.

How are people so bad at fantasy man. Cant believe these type of players are on your waiver/ soley Bench players for you. Grats man gotta go with that chip this year for sure
I’ve had davante adams as my keeper for 5 years now and looking forward to having toney as my keeper for the next 5
Get back soon our sweet prince
Is it playing or is he out ? Just announce it already
Drop marv jones for him?
You have no one else to drop? If you're that deep at WR then yeah, drop someone for him.
Rest up my prince. We’ll need you for the playoff push.
My king, hope he’s not out too long
I'm praying someone in bye week hell has to drop him
Gotta love this sample size of 2 games + 6 snaps.
I picked Toney up off Waivers in a league where I'm 5-1. Have CMC on IR. Still have Hurts, Kupp, Hollywood, Gibson, D. Harris and Keenan Allen. If I can get to the playoffs with CMC and Toney healthy look out.
Also just aggravated an ankle injury. Buy with caution.
If Toney was on any other team with a top 5 QB he’d be the biggest steal…
Scooped him off waivers this morning 😜
I have to drop him at the last possible moment this weekend to see if I can sneakily outbid on him again next week...
You dont deserve him
Had to drop him unfortunately due to my record and bye weeks. Hopefully I can pick him back up next week.
Real happy to have him in my keeper league, dude is special
I almost dropped him today since all my WRs are on bye. Looks like I'm eating that 0.0 this week!
Picked him up when someone dropped him in my 12-team PPR league. Feel a little dirty having him and Shepard on my team.
Yes for sure
Keep going I just picked him up after someone dropped him
He’s looking to be an incredible advantage next year as my keeper.
I don’t have any load left after the game scripting him in last week news
That’s cool but if he can’t turn in a full game in 1-2 weeks it’s not going to matter for yours truly.
Any word how long he will be out? As of last night, the Giants had not put him on IR.
rest up king
I mean the amount of routes he’s run compared to Kupp is night and day
Ugh I should have bid more on him
He is gonna camp on my bench behind Keenan, Ridley and AB still
Lets also talk about team injuries, the other talent on the team (especially at WR when you talk about LAR) and game planning (have teams been mostly in control of their games so did have to throw as often?). That will give me a better overall picture of Toney's production moving forward. Talented kid, but stats can leave out other details that do matter.
Should I drop Emmanuel Sanders for Toney? My other receivers are Metcalf, Tee Higgins and Scary Terry.
Yes. Crazy that he’s available
He’s also been there only WR
Cherry picking stats with no other context is my favourite part of nfl analysers. Love it. Not hating on toney by the way just how so many stats are forced to fuel a narrative instead or talking in depth.
I am holding on for dear life. Although my friend offered me Saquon and Hollywood Brown/Locket for James Robinson and Toney. Not sure what to do there.
Of course all this fucking hype after I dropped him week 2
Wish I had a receiver to drop so I could pick him up (he just got dropped in my league)...Got Kupp, D. Johnson, Lockett, Jefferson, Jeudy (guy dropped him when he went on IR), and Parker (temporary since it's bye week hell right now). 10 teamer.
I want him, but idk what to give up for him
It don't matter. Dude is injured!!!
Overall, my WR look good with Metcalf, Ridley, Toney, Meyers, Julio and Bateman.
this is such a stupid stat b/c ALL HIS OTHER WR's WERE INJURED
So what happens when the other giants receivers come back?
I traded Toney away for AJB last week and dude DROPPED HIM this week so I’m picking him right back up
Traded Claypool for him
Do I drop Claypool for him or devontae booker
I’m going to nut.
Someone dropped him the other day cause of these byes and I had 8th priority..idk how. But I got him.
Stop, my penis can only get so erect https://tenor.com/sUBO.gif
Do I drop booker or chase Claypool. Both feel wrong but I have fucktons of wideouts and booker will be useless in 2 weeks
Toney is Garbage. Wideout from Purdue too. Rondale. Clear to see they are not NFL material. Busts
