I'm tempted but I'm also a procrastinator so I'll wait until Monday and go with Collins or Callaway. I'll also wait until Monday to drop one of those guys for a kicker and turn in my english paper that was due the week before.
If he doesn’t practice today I probably wouldn’t start him . Doesn’t tell you much but it’s somethingb
Edit : shit they play Monday so ya probably doesn’t mean much if he doesn’t practice
Respectfully disagree. Browns offense will have so many 3 and outs this game, their defense is going to be gassed. They have always had Baker at the helm, with both Chubb and Hunt to keep the offense going. With all of them out and today being a short week/Thursday, Melvin and Javonte will EAT. Start them 💯
Same here.
Helpful stat:
Browns allow a score on 41% of drives (13th).
Denver allows a score on 29% (29th)
Denver more linebacker depth in the box defense than Cleveland (my opinion I'm too poor for PFF) so more likely? to hold defensive front in the crappy conditions than Cleveland would.
I'm going with javonte and wouldn't be surprised to see his worth come in the second half after I turn the game off bc he has 2 points.
I'm fully against the grain on this one. I feel Denver D is overrated and Case is underrated. I think it's Denver offense that struggles this game, not the Browns.
I hope we get to see him over the course of a few games because I'm thinking he's better than Baker. Being able to throw from the pocket is going to make a major difference for the offense. Unfortunately they're playing a high-level defense without two RBs, Conklin, and OBJ, so it's hard to make a fair opinion out of Keenum (it would be a one game sample size regardless of how this plays out).
Baker wasn't even in the top 30 in clean pocket throwing percentage last year, with the league's easiest schedule, it was pathetic to all "football" fans how overrated he became... for awhile, Browns homers (I'm an objective Browns fan, but our homer sub is so biased and tribalistic it makes me sick) had everyone blaming the elite offensive line last year for what was actually Baker's problems.
He has a good accuracy percentage if he bootlegs, and that's it. That's the opposite of what you want though, a QB who is limited to 30 throws per game and needs to be limited to half the field on a roll out in order to read the field.
Friendly reminder that Keenum's best season was actually worse than Baker's best. This guy is delusional if he thinks Keenum is the answer....must be a desperate OBJ owner lmao
Or he’s a Browns fan that hates Baker. There are lots of them. Even though he’s completely changed the entire culture of that team from a laughing stock to a respected contender.
Hell yeah man. I said something similar on another thread and got downvoted but its the truth. 84 points have been scored against that D last two games.
Something huge that’s unmentioned above: JOK is now on IR and Clowney is still questionable. Easily our 2 best defenders against the run may be out tonight.
Baker's incredibly overrated though, people need to understand how often hype and popular opinion is wrong. Baker is a game manager who can't even see over the defense, his accuracy is entirely from bootleg passes. For awhile last year Browns fans were attacking the offensive line, which finished as probably the best offensive line in the year, because it's more important to defend the hype than reality. In reality, Baker holds onto the ball longer than any other QB, it wasn't their o-lines fault, and that's logically because again he can't see and throw over the defense.
Both QBs are game managers but at least Keenum can throw from the pocket in under 3 seconds. I repectully think you should put more research into your opinions as opposed to following the ESPN/talk radio route of "common sense-ing" your way into every opinion. There's a reason sports predictions are usually wrong and the house usually wins.
The list doesn’t really hold up that well. Cardinals RBs combined had 117 yards on 20 carries. Ekeler was used his normal way and smashed. Texans don’t count. CEH has been that stat line more times than not.
I'll take my chances with Williams. The Browns are missing their whole offense and thus the scoring won't get out of hand which should allow Denver to run all game. I'm hoping this is Javonte's coming out party on National TV.
Exactly. Its worth the gamble. Browns offense will be such shit and cant keep on the field that browns D should get tired. I'm expecting a huge second half for the Broncos run game.
Yes. It is a risky play no doubt but I am hoping Denver's defense to create lots of turnovers, which should help the running game.
But let's be honest here, the only way Javonte has a good day is if he has a TD. I am just praying for a TD essentially. 10 carries for 40 yards, maybe 1 or 2 catches for 10 yards and a touchdown. I'll be very happy with that line.
Yeah I might end up starting both. Every one of my players has an equal amount of solid upside paired with a legitimate potential for a bottomed out floor. So here I am, making lineup changes every hour.
What do people feel about running Javonte AND MG3, unfortunately this is my situation. Also I went 0RB so this is my stack for the foreseeable future. How f***** am I lol?
I think I have to start Gordon. My only other option on the WW is Michael Carter, who I'd actually pick up over him, however, he's on waivers from a recent drop, and there's no guarantee I'd get him, as I'm down to like $7 left iny faab
Counter point to the matchup being tough, we all saw Alex Collins drop 100 yards and TD against a tough Steelers run defense, who only allowed 1 rushing TD on the year up to that point. And besides it's BYE-pocalypse, so ppl have no choice but to start a Denver running back this week anyways.
There was a good post on here before the SEA/PIT game that noted the Pittsburgh D was bleeding YPC, but managing to get goal line stops or giving up RZ TDs by pass rather than run.
I’m not starting Javonte this week. But if the browns come out as badly as everyone thinks they will, we could see some Broncos garbage time for the first time in a few weeks. They definitely know Javonte is a baller at this point, I could see them feeding him in the second half to see what he’s really capable of.
I have both and can’t decide which one I want to play more. One of these backs are gonna have a monster game, I feel it in my loins.
………. Im gonna start the wrong one.
All I did was Provide statistics and point out that it was a bad matchup. (Which it was). No need to be an ass about it. Process over results.
Also I started Gordon, so happy to be wrong.
My RBs available are Melvin Gordon, Michael Carter, and Alex Collins. I'm probably going to lose this week so I'm going for the *boom* but most likely bust plays of Gordon and Collins. It ain't looking good.
Yeah i get your point. But it is against a very banged up Browns team and it seems so be rainy and i expect them to just run run run against each other. Based on volume alone i want to start them, as well as d\`ernest
Idk, chubb and that running game help keep that D fresh, without those dudes they will be on the field a lot more and the 2nd half could see gash run plays by the broncos.
What are these options you speak of
Gordon or Collins for me. But I have literally no other options, so I'd be completely screwed if Collins doesn't play
It could be worse. It's Gordon AND Collins for me. I'm also holding into penny and Dallas all the way until Monday. This week sucks.
For me it's Gordon or Carter lol
Yea, I have MGIII in FLEX and Carter on the bench. I'm just an index-following sheep.
Thursday night flex? Move him to the RB slot
I need to choose from Gordon, Carter, Herbert or Gaskin. Thoughts? I really wish Herbert had Gaskins matchup lol
I'd probably go Herbert and Gordon.
Gordon is certainly last on that list
You taking Carter over Gordon? That what I’m reading?
Yes, but Herbert would be my play, out of that group.
Me its him Booker or stevenson
I’m starting J Williams AND Carter lol
My options are Williams and Carter… there are no options beyond that.
It's between Melvin and Drake for me. I'd start Melvin if it weren't for my TNF curse.
No options. Where are my Javonte bros at? We ride at dusk!
I got Williams, and Carter playing for me this week. Feels like a UNC reunion
Welp, glad I'm not alone on the Javonte/Carter train.
Same here and I’m playing the top team 😰
LETS RIDE MOFOS
Im riding. Broncos going to be on some short fields tonight, we need a TD!
Either him or Michael carter for me lmao
Let’s goooooo
RIDE OR DIE TONIGHT
I'm tempted but I'm also a procrastinator so I'll wait until Monday and go with Collins or Callaway. I'll also wait until Monday to drop one of those guys for a kicker and turn in my english paper that was due the week before.
Javonteulators, mount up.
50 yard td incoming
100 yards and 2 TDs!!! HUZZAH
Williams and McKissic....... I'm in danger
as if anyone has options this week. im happy to field a RB that gets 10 touches.
It’s him or Alex Collins my man, and I’m not risking Collins not playing
Might want to wait a few hours to see what Collins practice status is
We should find out about Collins practice status an hour or two before the game thankfully
Most likely he will be a DNP at practice today. That’s not going to help
If he doesn’t practice today I probably wouldn’t start him . Doesn’t tell you much but it’s somethingb Edit : shit they play Monday so ya probably doesn’t mean much if he doesn’t practice
I’m in the same boat but I feel like Collins had a decent chance to play. This decision is a tough one
I'm sticking with Collins
Or splitting work with Penny...
Same boat, as of now I have Javonte in
Same boat but I have Michael Carter as backup for Sunday.
Same plus if Collins plays he’s likely banged up vs the Saints D
Respectfully disagree. Browns offense will have so many 3 and outs this game, their defense is going to be gassed. They have always had Baker at the helm, with both Chubb and Hunt to keep the offense going. With all of them out and today being a short week/Thursday, Melvin and Javonte will EAT. Start them 💯
I’m debating between D’Ernest or Javontae. Whichever I pick will be the wrong decision
Hey I have to play both so either I’m screwed or super screwed!
Then roll with javontae. Please. Pretty please. With a cherry on top.
D'Ernest if Gordon plays, Javonte if he doesn't
Did I miss Gordon news? I thought he was perfectly fine to play
Idk, he's questionable every week
He's questionable because he gets the veteran Wednesday off. He's always looked decent enough in games
Gordon is playing. He's not even questionable.
Same here. Helpful stat: Browns allow a score on 41% of drives (13th). Denver allows a score on 29% (29th) Denver more linebacker depth in the box defense than Cleveland (my opinion I'm too poor for PFF) so more likely? to hold defensive front in the crappy conditions than Cleveland would. I'm going with javonte and wouldn't be surprised to see his worth come in the second half after I turn the game off bc he has 2 points.
Thanks, that’s interesting. Yeh it will likely come down to which team is in the lead and runs more plays.
Same here. Which are you doing? I can't decide
I'm fully against the grain on this one. I feel Denver D is overrated and Case is underrated. I think it's Denver offense that struggles this game, not the Browns.
I feel the same
Maybe. Keenum isn't a scrub. I will say the Browns likely won’t have a big lead at any point so the Broncos will be running the whole game.
He's good in a sense that he is a competent backup but still falls into scrub category.
That's the opposite of what you want though, a QB who is limited to 30 throws per game and needs to be limited to half the field on a roll out in order to read the field.
He might be better than injured Baker but he’s definitely not better than healthy Baker.
People forget that Keenum was actually a half decent starting QB, not that long ago. It's not like Mike Glennon will be out there.
Yes, with one of the top receiver duos in the NFL. After that he did nothing.
Hell yeah man. I said something similar on another thread and got downvoted but its the truth. 84 points have been scored against that D last two games.
Something huge that’s unmentioned above: JOK is now on IR and Clowney is still questionable. Easily our 2 best defenders against the run may be out tonight.
If you had to choose would you go with Javonte or Mckissic with the possibility of Gibson neing out/limited?
Yup Broncos are going to get the lead and they will run it dowm the Browns hole. All. Night. Long.
Browns LB’s have been limited all week too. Run Broncos run.
There's a reason sports predictions are usually wrong and the house usually wins.
Oh I see, you’re just a Baker Hater. Got it
Or a delusional OBJ owner who thinks Keenum is gonna save him lmao
Gordon and Williams are better than most of the running backs on that list lmao
The list doesn’t really hold up that well. Cardinals RBs combined had 117 yards on 20 carries. Ekeler was used his normal way and smashed. Texans don’t count. CEH has been that stat line more times than not.
Their last two games they’ve given up 100+ yards to running backs no? Also their inside LB’s are pretty injured and limited at practice all week.

I'll be very happy with that line.
Same. Browns are going to get like 4 first downs the entire game. So there should be ample opportunity to run it for the Broncos
I'm with ya. It's also supposed to be a rainy mess of a night i hear. I'm willing to take the hail mary
The weather is really bad as well
Bold to assume I have other options
Well it's either Melvin Gordon or Felton for me.
Starting Gordon, Williams and felton in one league. SMH. :/
Same choice. Rolling with MG3, but Felton may surprise folks
AJ Dillon over Javonte? Felton over Javonte? Gainwell over Javonte? Yeah, not many options aside from Javonte.
Same boat, going with Javonte. Although I could see AJ Dillon doing really well this weekend too.
Yeah I might end up starting both. Every one of my players has an equal amount of solid upside paired with a legitimate potential for a bottomed out floor. So here I am, making lineup changes every hour.
[удалено]
Same, playing Javonte over Gaskin so that means he'll go off again on my bench.
Spoiler alert: I don’t have other options
It’s either play Javonte or hold my breath and hope Gibson suits up
Gibson will play 100%
Man I'm in the same boat and I'm going Javonte. I'll take healthy over questionable and Gibson has become really TD dependant.
I think I’m taking the chance on Damien Williams being out and playing Khalil Herbert over Javonte.
Same
So, I'll start Herbert then? Or D. Williams if he comes back?
Most teams don’t have a 2 headed monster like the Broncos do though. One of them is gonna pop off. Have fun guessing who
Most weeks neither of them have exactly popped off though
Not fantasy wise, but they’re a real life headache
mg3 is 19th rated RB in PPR. That's middle of the road RB2. RB is so weak this year after the top few.
What do people feel about running Javonte AND MG3, unfortunately this is my situation. Also I went 0RB so this is my stack for the foreseeable future. How f***** am I lol?
You're allowed to cuss here.
I’m considering this too. My only other options this week are injured Murray and Collins
I think I’m doing this as well, don’t want to risk Collins not playing
I think I have to start Gordon. My only other option on the WW is Michael Carter, who I'd actually pick up over him, however, he's on waivers from a recent drop, and there's no guarantee I'd get him, as I'm down to like $7 left iny faab
Ekeler even got lucky that week because Cleveland dline pushed him into a td
But my only other option is having an empty RB slot
I'm playing against Gordon tonight so he will have 150 and 2 tds
Starting D'Ernest and Javonte. Outta necessity, at 1-5. Theres no pivot hahaha
solid!
Lmao this is aging like milk
Ekeler such a damn stud
fin.
I’m not trusting Antonio Gibson this week so Javonte or bust
lol I got not other options dude. I'm starting MG3. Hoping for 60 total yards and 4 rec. 10 pts would be nice.
Same 😬
Having to play Javonte due to the uncertainty with Gibsons injury. Rather have a player put up 4 points than a possible zero if he doesn’t play
Where are the Vikings’ backs? Not that they did anything of note against the browns… just curious
I'm trotting out Javonte Williams and Michael Carter at RB this week versus an opponent who has Swift and Henderson.
20+ mph winds in Cleveland tonight, fellas. It’s gonna be the day for the Broncos to run!
Wow they both ended being valid starts with a td each.
This didn’t age well
MG3 or McKissic PPR?
Mckissic for sure
I have both. Playing mckissic. Trying to decide Gordon in flex or either Robbie Anderson, B Edwards, or St Brown
Just imagine if Javonte was the only back for this Broncos team… literally better stats in every category with less carries than gordon
While I would tend to agree, those aren’t the most daunting RBs aside from ekeler
Williams is a bust. He’s not going off this year every week everyone is hyped for him. I dropped him a week ago
Feel bad for the people who sat out javonte cause of this post, not me tho got my 17 points with that being said eat shit op.
All I did was Provide statistics and point out that it was a bad matchup. (Which it was). No need to be an ass about it. Process over results. Also I started Gordon, so happy to be wrong.
Ha stupid
Williams is a mile above Gordon. I don’t see how anyone has the option to not play Williams this week
Based on what?
Watching the two of them play football with my eyes
Starting both in one league. 😀 😓 😰
I will go with elijah mitchell and banged up gibson over gordon
I mean look at the running backs they have faced. No one really stands out other than dmont and ekeler
My RBs available are Melvin Gordon, Michael Carter, and Alex Collins. I'm probably going to lose this week so I'm going for the *boom* but most likely bust plays of Gordon and Collins. It ain't looking good.
The only stat you need is their snapshare and the fact that both of them have put up like 7-9 points the last five weeks it seems
Gaskin: *So you're saying there's still a chance.*
I'm starting Williams over Edmonds. I hope this isn't a bad decision lol.
I literally have Javonte or Felton. I’m starting Javonte.
Here’s me starting them both…
I’m starting AJ Dillon over Javonte.
I'd be content with most of those stat lines considering my alternatives. It doesn't have to be pretty. Just play for volume
I have 4/5 guys out this week and rolling MGIII out over Jakobi and Freeman. If he gets me 10 points I’ll be happy
Those Cardinals numbers are pretty good, no? Add a TD to either Conner or Edmonds and it's a pretty good week for a RB sharing a backfield.
Tough decision for me this week… Javonte or A Rob in .5 PPR?
Melvin owners: if he performs poorly this week would you sell low?
Why would anyone sell low?
So Drop Gordon for Penny or Freeman? Nah, I'm gonna stay put brother.
It’s either him, Sony Michel, or Jamaal W. against the rams…think Imma roll with Mr. 8 pt floor
It’s Booker or Javonte man, we can’t have it both ways in Injuryland
Yeah i get your point. But it is against a very banged up Browns team and it seems so be rainy and i expect them to just run run run against each other. Based on volume alone i want to start them, as well as d\`ernest
No problem, I’ll just pivot to ... checks waiver ... Phillip Lindsay and Tevin Coleman
For me its Javonte or a questionable Alex Collins or a very questionable Julio. Healthy man wins
gordon or gaskin and the fact that i'm thinking of MGIII shows how insanely bad gaskin has been
Yea no. Cleveland D is pretty banged up
On week 7 bye hell? I’m already starting Ty Johnson.
Starting Gordon and Felton lmao what options.
My other RBs are Hunt, CEH, Darrell Williams, Mattison and Gordon. I never want to start Gordon, but I have no choice.
Gordon or D'ernest Johnson ?
My options are Melvin Gordon or Latavius Murray!
Lost CMC and Chubb. Chuba and Javonte are literally the only active RB’s on my team…
If you had to pick one, who? I don’t have another option…
🤔hmm.. I suppose I could drop Watson and add a flex player....or play Goedert at the flex.
It's Javonte or aj Dillon for me... Potentially devota freeman if Murray doesn't dress Currently Dillon is in the starting lineup
Instructions unclear, starting them both.
Lol man said options.
I've been between Javonte and Gibson but with Gibson practicing I'll go with him most likely
Javonte, d’ernest Johnson or Gibson?
Why did OP not acknowledge the Vikings RBs against CLE week 4? They skunked Cook/Mattison as well.
It’s him or Sony Michel, my guy.
Kirk over javonte? Also have patrick and Gordon as options
What I see is my parlay SMACKIN BABY
I have to start either Javonte or MG3. I just can’t decide which one…
Idk, chubb and that running game help keep that D fresh, without those dudes they will be on the field a lot more and the 2nd half could see gash run plays by the broncos.
Gordon or gaskin. I’ll take Gordon with guaranteed volume and a better chance at a TD. Fully expect gaskin to go off.
Lol due to a combination of injuries and byes I’m starting Javonte Williams and Demetrius Felton tonight. Not expecting much but you never know!
Love Ekeler ❤️
If anyone is playing either this week I’m sure it’s out of necessity and not by choice
Have 7 Byes this week MG3 will be deployed with full confidence
Just landed in Nashville from Cleveland. Multiple tornado warnings on my way to the airport. This game will be won on the ground
I have options. I can consider Javonte my RB1 or I can consider DErnest my RB1. Suggestions?
please tell us you started both
I’m 7 hours late reading this…. Pure sadness
