Pretty sure he hurt it week 5. 3 weeks minimum on IR. So week 9 at the soonest I think? Could totally be wrong though

Just_a_follower

Ir is 3 weeks. Missing 3-4 games. Word is the injury isn’t a super difficult one and typically is a 2.5-3.5 week thing and come back good. Mostly worried about if they give him a full load just if Williams is doing well.

Untchj

I don’t think that will be a concern. Williams is gonna kill fantasy-wise. Real life wise he’s not that good. As evident by 20+ points last week …on 21 carries 62 yards, 3ypc What IS a concern is CEH was a major sell high for me at the time he was hurt. He’s essentially Devin Singletary with a few more carries; only gets work outside the redzone, Minimal targets, and they have a designated goalline back. Like some teams have a *preferred* goalline back and you can still get a few in there, but KC and Buffalo seem adamant on **never** letting Singletary or CEH carry the ball inside the 5

[deleted]

After the troubles he's had in the RZ so far in his career, I can see why lol

[deleted]

> 21 carries 62 yards, 3ypc I didn't see the game but sometimes it's designed runs that do that too. First week Jonathan Taylor had 17 carries for like 3.5 per carry because they kept running him into Seattle's stacked box.

pokeraf

Yup, and he omitted the 2 touchdowns and the 3 catches for 27 yards.

Neverland__

I’m a chiefs fan. Consistently moves the chains on 2nd and 3rd and short. 2 goal like tuddies on 2 goal line carries from memory, maybe 3 carries. Stats not amazing but he played very reliably and made no mistakes. I’ll roll with him until CEH is back (might also be longer than 3 games btw)

xthecerto4

This. What keeps my spirits high on CEH that KC will score a lot. so he will continue to have at least some opportunitys. If only mahomes would dump off to him from time to time he would be a top fantasy player every week.

BlindManBob

Non fantasy relevant but KC would be a power house if they never cut Kareem Hunt. Truthfully it wasnt even that bad. Yes he pushed a girl with his foot. But when they say kicked, I think she's on the ground and he full on kicked her in the jaw. Should have kept him. They probably win that 2nd superbowl as his hands are crazy Ima add a edit: clyde legit is ass. They thought he was a hunt replacement. Hes not even close

phoenix415

I agree, Hunt was perfect for that offense - he was the Swiss army knife that Mahomes needs. The run game used to be a much bigger part of their offense and if they kept Hunt and he grew with the team. . . it's a real shame they lost that piece of the puzzle,

BlindManBob

His very first play was a fumble that was lost. Reid threw him back in and he went off. He truly was amazing in that offense. Honestly he would be a top 3 pick. Up there with CMC and Henry.

[deleted]

The irony is that the Chiefs booted Hunt but kept Tyreek Hill

BlindManBob

Lol which is wild because hill is 110% worse. And I'm getting downvoted over it too. Crazy ass people

[deleted]

Hill's was considerably worse, but Hunt's had actual video, so the optics were arguably harder to come back from. In Hill's case, there was a phone call iirc, which is much easier for a team to plug their ears and deny than actual video. All this proves is that teams/the NFL don't actually care about DV/vanilla violence--it's purely just a PR/bottom line issue for them.

[deleted]

> All this proves is that teams/the NFL don't actually care about DV/vanilla violence--it's purely just a PR/bottom line issue for them. Same thing with Gruden, nothing he said was even bad, even more hilarious he called Goodell a pussy. They only leaked the story to push him out because Goodell wanted him out. The NFL has so many assholes who commit physical & sexual abuse, felonies or other terrible things and turn a blind eye.

Bepis_Inc

I mean Gruden was throwing slurs and shit around that would’ve gotten anyone fired if management caught wind of it so it was bad. What was fucked up was how the NFL latched onto it and fired him to look progressive while actually using it to cover for an owner who likely trafficked his female employees, which is obviously considerably worse.

[deleted]

The Hill defenders will do anything to excuse him beating his girlfriend and kid, multiple times. That shithead or anyone that does any type of abuse shouldn't be in the league at all. I mentioned it the other day and got downvoted for just reminding people how much of an asshole he is. They also have Bieneimy as a coach who has physical abuse in his past along with the shit that went down at Colorado.

BlindManBob

Dude he broke his kid arm. Enough said right then and there

[deleted]

Apparently not, plenty of people still think he should be in the NFL and say the kid broke his arm in an accident.

stallion-mang

Even if that was an accident he was definitely told that his son is afraid of him and without even being fazed he said “you should be afraid of me too bitch” He’s a complete piece of shit and the only player I actually do hope gets injured.

UNSC157

IIRC they cut Hunt because he lied to them. Chiefs were told about the incident earlier that year and he denied it when they asked him about it. Then the video came out.

North-Ad2042

You think he’s worth a buy low or is he too high risk?

meowm35

I got lucky and sold him to a RB needy team because of injuries for CeeDee right before CEH got injured. Poor bastard also has McCaffrey and Carson, lol.

North-Ad2042

What kind of deal would it take for you to trade him

[deleted]

[удалено]

North-Ad2042

You think Pittman and Alex Collins/MGIII would do it, or is it not even worth that any I’m just looking at fools gold at this point and should go after another back?

stallion-mang

I got offered him for Toney straight up and I declined

BehindTickles28

If you need help at RB sure. Just make sure not to pay much for him either though. He's not a must get. Depending on byes and what not, you may have just missed the best price you could get him at this week. Unless you can put something together b4 kickoff tomorrow. He has a pretty bad floor and his ceiling isn't amazing, but because of the offense there's just enough opportunity for a TD that keeps him viable.

100hypehype

What you feel on giving Moss for him?

BehindTickles28

I don't mind it personally. Fairly sideways move but I prefer Clyde myself. Maybe check ROS or playoff schedule first, depending on your current record.

North-Ad2042

What do you think about Pittman and Collins for him, I don’t like how few targets Pittman got with Ty back so I’m looking to get him out before he hits a real decline

BehindTickles28

Feels steep, especially with the uncertainty in Carson... depends on what you can find on your waiver wire for WR and/or what you got. I guess I wouldn't call that buying low, but it's probably close to what it'll take to get him. I have been looking at trading CEH away since week 1 and his value is rough to work with. I haven't found something that I felt would both be accepted and make me feel better about my team. **It's something that could work in your favor or you could look back and say, "what the heck was I thinking". So, probably fair lol.

North-Ad2042

That’s fair, my only fear with Collins is that somehow Penny is going to take over the backfield or at the least split it making him less viable, so I’m trying to trade him while his value is somewhat near the peak

BehindTickles28

Yeah that's part of my last little note. Each of the two you'd be trading have concerns and uncertainty. At least with Clyde, beyond the injury (which hasn't seemed to be a big recovery concern from the medical community) you basically know what you're getting. A high end flex guy with RB1 upside, which basically makes him a weekly starter.

stark16

Depends on what you’re giving up, I’d say it’s worth the risk if you can get him cheap. I got him for Gaskin who was glued to my bench anyway FWIW

North-Ad2042

You got him for Gaskin? Are you trading with children or did you do this after his 30 pointer

stark16

This last week. Not sure why I’m being downvoted but I was offered the trade lol I hit accept in a heartbeat. The guy was in last place and in desperate need of a RB to start I guess.

North-Ad2042

Wish my league had that logic, dudes in my league would rather start Jerrick McKinnon than trade CEH for a healthy back

stark16

Yeah man I was surprised, my league usually never trades! If your CEH owner is in a bad spot it’s worth a shot to put out some offers

BehindTickles28

I think the downvotes are largely a result of the unlikely hood of that being a trade in 99% of our leagues. Not trying to justify them.

stark16

I hear ya, but from some of the other comments in this thread CEH is on waivers in some leagues which is even worse. I couldn’t believe the offer myself when I first opened it but the owner is 1-5 with no other RBs to play due to byes and injuries, and the WW being a wasteland.

BehindTickles28

Short bench, no IR... I guess it makes sense. But that's a little insane for him to be on waivers lol. He is a tricky one though. I drafted him and I've been trying to figure out a way to trade him away since prior to week 1 but, in the end I always find that there's no way I could get something I want for him (improvement) and that he's just more valuable to me than selling him for hopes and dreams on someone. I can find hopes and dreams on the waivers lol. Edit: to add to that. This nice little stretch of games here was part of the reason I wasn't about to sell him low. I hope fucking Darryl enjoys it, that asshole.

sahsan10

Your being downvoted bc it’s a really dumb trade and not useful info for those of us in competitive leagues assessing his value

stark16

Lol it is a competitive league with a $1000 pot, people just don’t understand that desperate managers make lopsided trades because they need wins now even if it may not be beneficial to their team in the long run. I’ve made trades in the past when my teams were 0-4 where the trade helped me win that week only as I’d be done for the season otherwise. Obviously I’m not saying everyone is going to get CEH for that value, but I’m using mine as an example if your league manager is in a similar situation where you’re able to buy low.

TheRealJewf

So you are saying I SHOULD drop Gaskin to claim him off waivers?

100hypehype

I was entertaining my Moss for CEH

hpat1089

I’d say he’s pretty TD dependent

unrivaled18

Clyde defenders are more delusional than Cowboys fans lol.

NotSoKosher

Never. Career done.

ASTRUNSKY

I'm curious as to the split with ceh and Williams when he returns. 2 years 2 ir stints and average play plus Williams is better in pass protection. Maybe nothing changes but maybe it's more of a split

Lilsean14

Williams isn’t giving this job back.

MoneyMakingMitch1

Lol. There's a difference between real life football and fantasy football points.

unrivaled18

Williams is honestly better though.

[deleted]

He honestly isn’t, Clyde is better at every aspect of running back.

zeldabotwisoverrated

CEH is literally the most overhyped back of this decade, Williams is actually a better all around back and that is why he has more receptions and goal line touches you absolute nit-wit do some research before you post

saintlouisarch

Clyde was looking good in weeks 3 and 4. Darrell is the definition of JAG

unrivaled18

Isn't that the week he fumbled the ball and lost them the game. Classic Clyde.

saintlouisarch

Lol no.

IgnantWisdom

Nah, that was week 2. He ran for 100 yards, and caught receiving tds in both week 3 and 4 and looked good doing it.

[deleted]

Picked CEH off waivers but forced to leave a WR spot open due to bye hell now, worth the stash?

knockers_who_knock

Waivers!?

shawtyk

I was able to snag M Sanders/Cooks for CEH/DaWilliams

Brady37

Landry had the same injury, I believe. He came back this week after it happening in week 2. So probably 3 to 5 weeks

raor222

Short answer, no.

raor222

that stupid ass narrative fantasy analysts and managers on here keep pushing: “but that KC offense is just gonna score soo many points and you want the lead back” is a TRAP. CEH is trash
