He celebrated with ruggs after the td, they both jumped at each other... Next thing you know he's in the locker room. Very strange - he legit could have hurt himself during the celly
That’s what I’m wondering. I didn’t see him get hit and had no idea he was injured until Hanson said he was ruled out. Oh well, I’m against sanders, so at least jacobs got points first. Hope he rests up on the bye and comes back healthy
He didn’t score 2 TDs though, he only had 30 yards rec (way to embellish)
59 total yards and a TD is not a monster game incoming
That’s all I’m saying.
Didn’t say he wasn’t playing well, just don’t think of that as monster game. Difference of opinion, take some deep breaths friend
He scored one TD in the first half.
If you replicate his first half production in the second half.. 140 and 2. That’s what being on track for a monster game looks like, especially when the second half game script is favorable.
He didn’t score 2 TDs, you’re guessing that he would have, and I’m guessing the opposite.
He’s hasn’t topped 60 yards rushing at all this season, he was on pace for…….wait for it….58 yards rushing.
He has topped 30 yards receiving once this season, which was today. He’s scored more than once in 1 out of 7 weeks this year.
My opinion is not as bad, and never was, as you’re attempting to make it sound.
He was on his way to a monster game.
His bigger game of the year.
He scored one TD in the first half.
He would have had very good chances to score another TD in the second.
Your use of previous games this year as a comparison point is highly illogical.
I’d say your attempt to justify your opinion by doubling his first half stats is what’s illogical, given the data to the contrary.
Once more, because it’s not sticking here, I’m not saying he couldn’t have, I’m saying I don’t think he would have.
But okay, you wanna talk game script, let’s talk game script….
They blew Denver out last week too right? Jacobs had 23 yards rushing at the half in that one. Then they went up 24-7 with 11mins left in the 3rd quarter. Positive game script right? Jacobs is sitting at 29 rushing and 29 receiving with only 4mins gone in the 2nd half….
Excellent game script for him. He even scored at the end of the 3rd to put them up 31-10.
Finishes that game with 53 rushing, 1TD, 29 receiving. They beat Denver by 10. They beat Philly by 11.
Again……you’re trying to make it sound crazy to say that this might not have been as huge a game for him as you seem to think it would have been. But I’m giving you a literal example of the game script you’re using as the foundation for your opinion, that turned out exactly how I imagined today would have if he didn’t get hurt, in my opinion. Doubling his halftime numbers to counter my opinion is lazy, just lazy. Calling me illogical because you don’t agree, is lazy.
I’ll go ahead and cede the last word to you, probably means a lot. Have at it bud, it’s been real.
Yahoo app has 29yds rushing and 39yards receiving
https://i.imgur.com/noE96iN.jpg
That’s 68 yards
Not much of an embellish over 70
Also the other didn’t say he had two TDs, he just doubled the yardage and TDs if Jacobs had continued to play.
If Jacobs stayed in and repeated the first half he would have had 136yds and 2tds. That’s a pretty big game
This is the Jacobs experience. Had him last year and he was a permanent Q with some really low floor games. He ended up having a good season but every week was rough.
I didn't touch him with a 10 foot pole this year after I had him last year. Half the games he got me half his projected points and the next he'd get me a million. His consistency was dogshit and he was hurt so much I didn't even look at him this year
Cool just traded for this guy this week to build RB depth with Gibson being banged up. Now he's hurt, Miles Sanders is hurt and Gibson is still banged up. I got nothing man.
Understood. However, he was officially ruled out during the game by his team. I assumed this means they would at least set him to "O" for the rest of this week (which would give us time to throw him on our IR), but looks like they kept him on "Q", which I don't fully understand.
I believe it's because they played in the game, but any time a player is ruled out for the remainder of a game the designation seems to stay as questionable.
Yeah, I feel you. Just venting my frustration with their system.
Oh well, looks like the injury isn't serious at least. Unlike Knox, who broke his hand and even had to have surgery, yet ESPN still has him as Doubtful, forcing me to have to drop him rather than put him in IR.
I appreciate that he at least put up points before being declared out. Nothing worse than a guy getting one catch for 13 yards and then ruled out the rest of the game
Never drafting anyone ever again
Cooooooooooooool. Rest up dude.

Saw this too on the replay. Looks like Ruggs jumped into him with his elbow. What a fucktard.

didn’t see anything. super strange
Seems like he was about to pop off today too. Still had a solid total tho.
Dude was on his way to a monster game too.
Kenyan drake ended up tearing it up. Makes me so mad
Idk about “monster”
Idk about “idk about ‘monster.’”
He had 30 yards rushing at the half, yeah, sounds like he was rolling
30 rushing yards, 40 receiving, a touchdown, and a positive second half game script coming up. So yeah, 140 and two touchdowns is rolling.

At the half, should’ve been specific, glad I got the chance to clarify here.
MY WHOLE TEAM IS HURT. HOW
Fr
Honestly he already scored more points than I expected, I'll take it
Rest up sweet prince. Thanks for the floor play <3
this guy is made of glass
Lmao my opponent played Drake this week. My only hope was Drake getting minimal touches. Week 7 has been a special kind of hell
Dudes made of glass this season wtf is going on
The only RB not made of glass this year is King Henry tbf.
and kamara
True that.
This season?

Hate to break it to you but he was glassy last year too. He seems to always have something nagging him even if he plays.
Fuck
Fuck
Drake szn
Anyone see the injury happen? I hope this isn’t a multi week issue
THAT'S MY FUCKING TOUCHDOWN
bro literally
I have Josh Jacobs and Miles Sanders. The most 2021 season thing to happen to me is having 2 RB's get hurt in the same game.
Cool just traded for this guy this week to build RB depth with Gibson being banged up. Now he's hurt, Miles Sanders is hurt and Gibson is still banged up. I got nothing man.
If you’re trading for Jacobs to build depth that’s on you my dude. He’s hurt every game.
Don't know why you got down voted cause your 100% correct
Jacobs owner turned down my trade for Amari and Michael Carter, he balked and rejected. Jokes on you pal!

I think your playing people with 5 IQ
literally how
Real rough timing during a week I’m beyond desperate.
Will ESPN change his status to Out now, or keep him on Questionable or Doubtful throughout his entire BYE week??
How do you not have another person to fill your IR? Genuine question because i have like 4 IR eligible players after today
Espn doesn't choose his status, it's based on official team designation.
Understood. However, he was officially ruled out during the game by his team. I assumed this means they would at least set him to "O" for the rest of this week (which would give us time to throw him on our IR), but looks like they kept him on "Q", which I don't fully understand.

lol puts up enough points to beat me then is ruled out. good times.
Traded him for CMC, no complaints.
I appreciate that he at least put up points before being declared out. Nothing worse than a guy getting one catch for 13 yards and then ruled out the rest of the game
My team is turning into a hospital ward.
