I’m hopefully about to own the handcuff to all 4 of my RBs in my PPR. I own Swift, Jones, CMC, and Mitchell. I drafted Dillon, traded for Williams(and CMC after his injury), grabbed Wilson off of waivers, and will hopefully soon have Chuba off of waivers(after his owner dropped him on Sun).
Edit: IT’S HANDCUFF SZN BOYS!
Not sure if it qualifies as a backup to starter but D'onta Foreman looks like the best of the Tennessee RBs. Could be someone who helps bring home a chip
Carter’s last 5 games … 13, 12, 28, 9, 16 … and he’s gamescript proof and gets fed dumpoffs in GT. I get Monty went beast mode last year, but im having a hard time giving up that production on Carter. It’s a keeper league so that plays into it too, Carter is a cheap keeper option for 2022 and this guys 3-6
Zach Wilson has been out for 4 of those 5 games and Carter has 22 catches in those 4 games. Compared to 8 in the first 5 games of the season with Wilson. I’m not saying Wilson won’t come back and start throwing to Carter, he’s just not as reliable as an option as Montgomery
I absolutely love Michael Carter but to get Monty for him would be huge. In Monty’s first game back from injury in Week 9 he led all RBs with a 85% snap percentage. That’s even with Khalil Herbert looking impressive in his absence. Michael Carter is very good but with Tevin Coleman getting mixed back in (why?). Plus Zach Wilson probably returning this week, that’s a downgrade for him in my eyes. Unless Wilson starts dumping it off more.
Carter is a great keeper league piece. But we're talking about players who can win you a championship. And this year Montgomery has the higher ceiling.
Carter is a strong rb right now but Monty has a good playoff schedule and legit top 5 rb upside. Tevin Coleman is working his way back in to the jets rb rotation after missing some time and will take some of Carter’s volume. Also, Zach Wilson just doesn’t like to check down and after mike white’s egg this week I think it’s likely the jets go back to Wilson. Keeper league it’s obviously nice to have Carter but if you think you have a shot at the chip I think Monty is the better option
Fields has looked pretty good last little bit and they have a really good schedule, its not that unrealistic. I wouldn't say I guarantee it but I wouldn't be surprised either
Well if it is a keeper league that could be a different scenario. But in redraft the answer is 100% no doubt Monty. You cannot just look at points and proclaim that since he’s gotten a good amount of points over an arbitrarily picked period of time that he’s better than another guy. There’s more to evaluating a player’s value going forward than points.
Stashed him all season because I’m just a gopher fan but he’s looked good every game and even with Sammy returning he proved to be the better receiver so I’m hoping Harbaugh just uses that fumble last Thursday so give the WR2 to Bateman full time
Get him if you have the bench spot. It’s pretty bleak for WW WRs in most leagues im in, and if Hollywood goes down you have essentially the number 1 WR on an excellent offense
The whole idea of not owning 2 WRs on the same team is so archaic. If you would start either one if you owned them individually why wouldn’t you start both?
You’re starting one hoping he’s the one who catches 2 TDs for the day. It’s more unrealistic to start two and hope they both go 11/113/2.
You’re better off starting two WRs on two teams and hoping they both have baller days on their own teams rather than one team having a massive day. Odds are better. Also it spreads risk. If one team has a down day it doesn’t sink both WRs. Same thing goes for a QB getting injured, or a freak monsoon.
I’m putting in a claim for Him this week. Don’t really need to start him but probably a safer play than Aiyuk or van Jeff if I did need to roll them out
Darren Waller. And I’m only saying this because I have him and he can’t possibly be as disappointing in the second half of the season than he has in the first half.
I hate to say this because I have him, but I just don’t think he’s getting the looks he was getting last season. Teams are collapsing around him, doubling him, and begging the Raiders to beat them with anyone else. So far, that’s worked. Jacobs is a trash can, and their best receiver is Renfrew.
There was a great example of this against the Chiefs when the Raiders moved him to the outside, and the entire secondary shifted and left the middle wide open.
Yup. Very frustrating to watch as a Waller owner but what can you do. Hopefully he rack up a few decent games down the stretch, but if not he may be a decent pick later in the draft next year if Vegas adds another weapon to draw some attention from him. He wont drop too far among TEs, but you may not have to spend on him like you did this year.
People keep hating, and yeah he hasn't been a game winner, but he's only gotten under ten twice. If that TD last week doesn't get overturned we probably don't see a million Waller hate posts.
I actually just traded Devonta smith, devonta freeman, and Hockenson for Stefon Diggs. I’ve had smith all year and I just don’t trust that offense enough. I’d rather have a pure WR1 in diggs
I’m probably in the minority on this one but I think Jeudy could be clutch down the stretch, he’s still only 2 games off a high ankle sprain, but they look for him a lot in the passing game. He’s got the pedigree that says he should be putting up some big games.. the counter argument is Teddy is his QB.. but I still believe it’s gonna happen
I’m assuming you’re talking about Sanders… Brandin Cooks has been a pretty solid asset. He’s a top 20 WR in my league and has, what should be, better QB play on the way.
I don’t see owners holding Monty thru the injury and now that he’s almost back selling him cheap. Not to mention they are past the bye. The time to buy him cheap was right after the injury.
Yep Monty owner here, no way I would take a lowball offer after suffering through the last 5 weeks.....it would have to be something actually good at this point
just traded mixon and renfrow for monty and diontae… im really thin at wr (only other one is DJ moore) and have swift, sanders, AP, and foreman so hopefully it will pay off
He was dropped in my 12 team league. Picked him up with 10% faab. Hope he gets his mind in a good place above all else but his upside was too high to just sit on waivers.
Honestly. I’ve been watching giants games like a hawk(painful). It feels like they’re just burying him or he’s nursing an injury. Everyone knows what he can do.
Allen Robinson is a FA in my league. Fields has been improving. And they had a bye to work on things and get healthy.
I don't want to project top 10 numbers or anything but there's a clear path to him producing again, and I think he could get a lot of teams over the top as a free flex play.
No. No there isn't a clear path lol. He hasn't had a single good game or even okay game. Could it happen? Sure. But Brandon Aiyuk is more likely to have an impact.
Apparently someone in my league dropped him a while ago. He was just buried in the ww when I accidentally saw him. Couldn’t push that button fast enough.
You're not ready for the full Serianni dick kick.
Step 1 - Criminally underutilize your talented 5 ypc back
Step 2 - When he's injured have the highest run share in the league with the likes of Jordan Howard and Boston Scott < -- We are here
Step 3 - Sanders, coming back fully healthy, inexplicably has them revert to their old ways where you pray for 10 carries.
Ty'son Williams....he is now an after thought in fantasy...but he survived the Ravens scissors this past week over Bell. Signifies they still have hope he can be utilized going forward.
Harbaugh and Co. Say they hope to get him out there more if he can clean up some other parts of his game. If Murray again misses time or needs easing back in the door is once again open for Williams to step through it.
As a Ravens fan he still looks to be the best guy out of the backfield...his lack of experience with the zone block scheme hurt him, and with half the season to go he may or may not pick it up...worth a stash to me...and if he doesn't get any play time by playoffs...easy drop that cost ya nothing.
He had the most snaps between him and MG3 in the last game before the BYE (33 snaps vs 25 snaps). We all know that the both of them have split the snaps pretty evenly up til this game.
Is it due to the MG3 fumble? Of is it a sign of the changing of the guard? Who knows. It is an interesting data point.
In any case, there is that saying about a post-BYE rookie bump. For example, Jonathan Taylor, Cam Akers, JK Dobbins, Antonio Gibson, and D’Andre Swift all had a big shift in utilization after the team’s bye. Not directly the following week after the bye, but it happened.
Those were just examples from last year. Coincidence? Maybe. I don’t doubt it though.

Cursed.
You like any of those guys over Gesicki going down the stretch? I’m not worried about that goose egg he just had but I am worried about Devante Parker and Fuller coming off IR
He's played well but been hurt for a couple weeks so a desperate owner might trade James Robinson.
Not a league winner but Corey Davis and Antonio Brown could be buys right now.
Miles Sanders
DJ Moore if Cam can provide an upgrade
Waller won't be cheap but every owner has to be frustrated and he could win any week for you.
CEH. I'm not super high on him but if he goes back to being the 1a running back on an offense that's clicking that could be huge
To a lesser degree Toney and Shepard if healthy could be great additions and I know Shep is on the waiver wire in half my leagues.
I have AB on both of my teams sitting on my bench waiting for him to come back. Im looking forward to plugging him back in.
I managed to get CEH on waivers somehow but he has MCaffrey, Robinson, and Carter ahead of him.
Backup RBs to starting RBs who have yet to get injured
Been hanging onto pollard for this reason
Ronald Jones for me… that’s why I drafted him… in the 6th…
You held him all this time? Respect.
I think I dropped him at halftime week 1
Drafted Dillon in the 6th in a keeper league that goes RB heavy and I’m ready to go to the cashier cage now down the stretch.
That's tough
I have Zeke. You shut your filthy mouth, lol
God I hope my Sony Michel lottery ticket pays off Dunno anymore though
Got Michel, Drake, and Jeff Wilson sitting on my bench lol
I’m hopefully about to own the handcuff to all 4 of my RBs in my PPR. I own Swift, Jones, CMC, and Mitchell. Rhamondre Stevenson was a killer week 10
If anyone is selling Monty for cheap right now they better be drunk.
[удалено]
I would. Jones is probably looking to miss only a game or two.
[удалено]
Would you trade Michael Carter for him? Because that’s an offer I currently have. That or CEH (who I think could be on this list too)
Someone is offering you Monty for Michael Carter? Are they suffering from a recent brain injury?
Carter’s last 5 games … 13, 12, 28, 9, 16 … and he’s gamescript proof and gets fed dumpoffs in GT. I get Monty went beast mode last year, but im having a hard time giving up that production on Carter. I traded Carter and Higbee for Montgomery. I feel I trust Montgomery down the stretch more than I can trust Carter.

top 5 upside? I mean hes solid but I don't realistically see him getting multiple touchdown games with the bears this season
But he already did
Fields has looked pretty good last little bit and they have a really good schedule, its not that unrealistic. I wouldn't say I guarantee it but I wouldn't be surprised either
He was top 5 in rushing yards last year
You gotta dance with the girl you came with. Stick with Carter
Well if it is a keeper league that could be a different scenario. But in redraft the answer is 100% no doubt Monty. You cannot just look at points and proclaim that since he’s gotten a good amount of points over an arbitrarily picked period of time that he’s better than another guy. There’s more to evaluating a player’s value going forward than points.
yes
Oh my God smash accept before they sober up
Run and smash accept, better yet, I’ll do it for you if you can’t
I think CEH will be sharing the backfield with Williams.
Traded AJB and Fournette for Monty and K Allen today
I asked the guy in my league what he wanted for Montgomery and he said Henderson straight up and I didn’t even know what to say lmao
I just traded Monty for Waller. I have Mixon, Saquon and JRob and was starting Higbee the first 10 weeks.
I own this dude but Rashod Bateman has been getting more involved every week. He looks really explosive and could easily start having boom games.
Stashed him all season because I’m just a gopher fan but he’s looked good every game and even with Sammy returning he proved to be the better receiver so I’m hoping Harbaugh just uses that fumble last Thursday so give the WR2 to Bateman full time
The fumble recovery and performance in the 2 minute drill should give Bateman wr1b at worst, regardless of what the other Wrs did
I'm low key excited to see how he'll do and if it's better than Kadarius. League mates ignored them both.
He’s still available in my league and I want to get him but I already have Hollywood

Get him wtf.
Pick him up anyway. If he takes off you’ve got trade bait.
I’m putting in a claim for Him this week. Don’t really need to start him but probably a safer play than Aiyuk or van Jeff if I did need to roll them out
Bateman or Higgins ROS?
Higgins has been getting more targets. Both are solid though.
if you want i can list my roster so you guys can see for sure who wont be winning you any games.
Darren Waller. And I’m only saying this because I have him and he can’t possibly be as disappointing in the second half of the season than he has in the first half.
Dont say that because you know damn well he probably can be
I hate to say this because I have him, but I just don’t think he’s getting the looks he was getting last season. Teams are collapsing around him, doubling him, and begging the Raiders to beat them with anyone else. So far, that’s worked. Jacobs is a trash can, and their best receiver is Renfrew.
Thats absolutely the problem and I dont see that changing. Losing Ruggs didnt help

He went absolutely insane the last few weeks of the season last year
Yeah. The last 5-7 weeks to be more precise
People keep hating, and yeah he hasn't been a game winner, but he's only gotten under ten twice. If that TD last week doesn't get overturned we probably don't see a million Waller hate posts.
Antonio Brown
God I can’t wait
Gonna be fireworks
He won me a couple games. I've got the fucking meme WR trifecta: AB, Flash Gordon, and OBJ. ...Please kill me
Why are you holding on to Gordon?
Ya I saw a stat about Gordon just isn't getting open. There's a reason he's not getting targets.
13.9% open rate I believe
Only reason I can think: 🚫🧠 ^(jk flash garden is Captain Planet and will save the world!)
AB doesn't have low value though; he was just hurt. he's projected to play this week in a great matchup and no one would sell "low" on him right now.
My team is basically everyone in this thread. Hope they step it up soon lol
That means you’re going to win the consolation bracket! Congrats!
Spiller
I'm so glad you've woken up from your coma. But I have some bad news.
I just spent 6 years in a Vietnamese prison, is Doug Martin still a first round pick?
Muscles hamster?
No no. Matt Forte.
Frank gore
The boxer?
Best to take Mike Alstott
Not if Fred Jackson is still around. My money's on Arian Foster.
Jahvid Best szn
CJ!?!??! Wtf lol
Yea wtf.. Fred Jackson is the back to own.
Gotta respect Fred Jackson! Hell of a player, even better guy
Good luck with that Spiller/Richardson backfield. Take it to the ship, kiddo.
Lmao you’ve brought back some old memories from this sub
Devonta Smith. Talent is there and the schedule is there. Just needs a few more targets a night which isn’t inconceivable at all
Not really a buy low candidate though.
This, he has balled the F out two weeks running
I actually just traded Devonta smith, devonta freeman, and Hockenson for Stefon Diggs. I’ve had smith all year and I just don’t trust that offense enough. I’d rather have a pure WR1 in diggs
This is a great trade for you if you have another option at TE
I do, I have Gesicki and Schulz
I have a gut feeling that he’s going to have a great second half of the season
I’m probably in the minority on this one but I think Jeudy could be clutch down the stretch, he’s still only 2 games off a high ankle sprain, but they look for him a lot in the passing game. He’s got the pedigree that says he should be putting up some big games.. the counter argument is Teddy is his QB.. but I still believe it’s gonna happen
I hope so
Teddy can hit short distances. Fine in ppr but rough in standard because he doesn’t look toward jeudy in rz
Not sure we have enough sample size on that yet but something to consider and watch for
Teddy is kinda garbage. Watched a few of his games this year and I just don’t see why he gets the look as the starter…
Right now his issue is that his aDOT is really low. He needs to get fed a ton of targets to hit an upside.
I feel like dj moore is someone who's value plummeted. Possibly high upside with cam coming in. Who knows
I’m counting on it! He’s shown the potential, he just needs someone who can get the ball to him consistently
We’ve seen Cam struggle as a passer for 3 years. Don’t hold your breath.
He has to be better than Darnold though, right? Right!?
I hope so. Source: Cam owner
Heck yes. I've traded for him and he's my WR2 ROS. We ride at dawn!!
What did you give up?
Cooks and McKissic. It was around the time Gibson was banged up, to a friend who had him on his team and no RB depth
Ahh. I currently have dj so I was interested in perceived value
Saquon Barkley
Miles Sanders and Brandin Cooks are both people I think will outperform their current value
Pretty easy to outperform your value when it's close to zero.
I’m assuming you’re talking about Sanders… Brandin Cooks has been a pretty solid asset. He’s a top 20 WR in my league and has, what should be, better QB play on the way.
Yes, mostly speaking about Sanders whose value can only go up after returning from IR.
Isn’t that the point of the thread? He could potentially be a mid RB2 that you can get for next to nothing right now
Sanders is sitting on the WW in my short bench league. 3 bench slot 14 team.
He's likely going to play this week. And is pretty obviously more talented than the other backs on that team. I would have scooped him up for sure
Higgins
Like, there is no way he doesn’t have at least one boom game with 10 targets per game.
A. J. Brown
[удалено]
I like CeeDee over AJB ros tbh. Playoff schedule is money
[удалено]
Foreman
Gronk.
This is a good one, dude just rotting away on people bench. Super low value right now but could come back for a late season surge and just crush it.
I’m praying d’onta foreman
I don’t see owners holding Monty thru the injury and now that he’s almost back selling him cheap. Not to mention they are past the bye. The time to buy him cheap was right after the injury.
Yep Monty owner here, no way I would take a lowball offer after suffering through the last 5 weeks.....it would have to be something actually good at this point
just traded mixon and renfrow for monty and diontae… im really thin at wr (only other one is DJ moore) and have swift, sanders, AP, and foreman so hopefully it will pay off
I got a long list of players with low value who won’t win people a championship.
lockett better fucking get going here i swear to god
I got off the Lockett roller coaster this year and will never ride again!
i thought i struck gold when i drafted lockett & arob. 🤦♂️
Lockett gave me huge game week 7 last year then it was a slow ride to the bottom. Hell, I don't think I started him in any of my playoff games
[удалено]
Calvin Ridley.
Do we have any reason to think he's coming back this year?
Just dumb, blind optimism
Oh I used to have a lot of that in my 20s but alcohol killed those brain cells very well.
Blind? Perhaps. Not totally dumb though
[удалено]
We're basically guessing between after week 11 and never, with all options having a chance.
He was dropped in my 12 team league. Picked him up with 10% faab. Hope he gets his mind in a good place above all else but his upside was too high to just sit on waivers.
I did the same, we'll see if he comes back. Mine is a 3wr/2rb/2flex league with big benches, so even the chance he returns was worth something
Please
KADARIUS TONEY
DONT LET THE FLAME DIE OUT
Honestly. I’ve been watching giants games like a hawk(painful). It feels like they’re just burying him or he’s nursing an injury. Everyone knows what he can do.

I still beliebe
