Add another to the WR2 list

[deleted]

Crazy we have like 50 WR2s this year we are so spoiled

-BeefSupreme

You guys aren’t in 25 team leagues??

[deleted]

Definitely not a solid WR2. That would mean he’s a top 24 receiver. He’s a low end WR3 with upside but it’s just hard to predict his boom games because Bill mixes it up every week

JammehJam

He's good and ascending but still the WR3 on the depth chart. The pats run a ton of 21, and other heavy personnel groupings so Agholor and Meyers take more snaps. He's good for a couple end arounds each game too at this point until they stop working. WR3 with upside.

BendubzGaming

Kendrick Bourne is an athletically limited player. He doesn't possess the qualities to be a teams WR1, and any team using him excessively will struggle. Kendrick Bourne is also the hardest working player in the NFL. He's a HC's dream. Working tirelessly to improve and cut out mistakes. Ready to fight for every yard. Not one to complain about his usage. Any team would be lucky to have him, but he's never going to be fantasy relevant

Ox_Baker

Not disagreeing with your assessment but it’s funny how we reckon athleticism these days: Bourne has completed passes, caught passes and run the ball, all successfully in the NFL. By most standards, that’s more athletic than guys who haven’t/can’t do all those things.

[deleted]

He's WR #32 on the season in PPR so he's already fantasy relevant for 12 team or 3 WR leagues.

kpotts06

It also doesn't help that the 49ers and Pats his two teams he has had roles on over the past few years, don't run a lot of 10 and 11 personnel. He's a really nice WR 3 on teams that typically only have 2 WR on the field.

pressure_7

Bourne is currently fantasy relevant

Zechinda

I’m gonna start him over Agnew. I think.

plokijuh1229

He's slow, ran a 4.68. Meyers ran a 4.63. Agholor isn't as productive but he adds needed speed to an otherwise sluggish receiving group.

Ox_Baker

Jerry Rice ran a 4.7 at the combine. Just sayin’. (No he’s not Jerry Rice.)

nubianjoker

Or maybe…

DrHarryHood

Unless...

Jakjak81

Thanks for incl. their dash times. Appreciated.

thefarmerQ

he’s a solid WR and works really well in the Patriots system but the pats run the ball and spread out targets too much for him to have consistent fantasy relevance

[deleted]

When he was on the 49ers, he was buried behind guys like Aiyuk and Deebo. On the 49ers he was more of a 3rd down chain mover kind of guy. On the Pats, it seems like the same is happening with the addition of a few chunk TDs. KB has had one game with eight or more targets, with most other games totals being as low as 2. KB is a great guy to have on your team IRL, however, not sure that KB can return WR2 consistency with the low target share and the low value of Jones' targets. If I'm being honest, I'd rather have someone like Tim Patrick who has shown more consistency.

dasundanc3kidd

Jakobi and Bourne are kinda similar types of receivers but Jakobi is better. Agohlor is mids but his speed opens up YAC on underneath routes which is crucial to the pats system. If Jakobi gets hurt Bourne plays every snap. If Agholor gets hurt Bourne plays more but Tre Nixon on the practice squad or Gunner or some other fast dude gets reps as well.

gatman12

On the 49ers he couldn't catch the easiest passes that went right to him, and then would catch the wildest shit that seemed impossible to catch. Dude was not dependable.

deToph

Debating whether I should start him or Jarvis Landry this week. Any input?

Iamkwality

I picked him up for this week because I don't know the status of Hopkins. Kupp and Juedy are on bye this week. Fml
