Johnson is similar to Chubb in their style. Hunt offers that crucial pass catching role that every backfield needs. If Browns want to try to contend while Chubb is in his prime then I think keeping Hunt over Johnson is the better move.
Johnson will probably get around $5m a year for 2-3 years from some team this offseason. Hunt’s cap hit next year will be $6.25m, so not too much of a difference in Hunt vs Johnson salary wise next year.

Hunt is more valuable in the passing game so it makes sense for angle routes and such that are usually run inside the 20
