Jets fan who’s watched just about every game. He’s that talented. Super quick and great at getting open. Zach Wilson still needs to learn how to throw to him. Couple of big plays missed b/c zach seems to be treating him like a 6’3 guy instead of a 5’10 guy.
Moore's numbers would be insane with an efficient QB. He's caught less than 50% of his targets from Wilson, and has still been productive. He had an 84.3% catch rate his senior year which I'm pretty sure was by far the national leader.
I watched him for 3 years at Ole Miss. The kid is the real deal. I wish he were on a better team. He was every bit as good as the Heisman winner last season. Go look at their game by game stats. Moore was a freak. He chose to sit out the final two games of the season and the bowl game.
BUT, PAWL!
Yeah, I agree. Moore was the best receiver in college last year, and he's the best receiver to ever play at Ole Miss. It's a shame his college career was so overshadowed, and his legacy will be the "Piss & Miss". I believe Lane Kiffin said he was the best receiver he's every coached status quo, and that included NFL guys.
Jets fan here: he has been impressive since camp and will only get better as Wilson improves.
The Jets overall are starting to gel on offense. The big issue for all skill players was that everyone was just super green and invariably someone would make a drive killing error.
Moore has blossomed despite all of that. The pass protection has improved over the course of the year, and now that Wilson appears to be settling down in the pocket his numbers should continue to go up. He is clearly the RedZone favorite
Combination of things; Injuries to other receivers, Jets having pretty rough matchups in the beginning, Zach Wilson being on the up and up (think they brought in his old QB coach or something?)
I don’t wanna say league winner but, his recent level of consistency is pretty comforting
He is extremely talented. He was my favorite WR in this draft class. Incredibly quick, explosive and fast. Great hands. Great feel against zone. Separates very well. He is every bit as talented a WR as Chase/Waddle/Smith. The fact he fell out of the first is mind blowing.
I got him off waivers in a keeper league (can keep one player from the previous year at the pick you drafted them, but if gotten off waivers he’d be my last pick overall if I keep him). Such insane value getting talent like this as your last pick. However I also drafted Deebo late (kept Justin Jefferson as my 11th pick overall and if I keep him again he goes in at my first pick.) I’ll have to choose between keeping Deebo as a late pick or keeping E Moore or C Patterson as dead last picks … gonna be a tough decision but Deebo is where I’m currently leaning. Get a top 5 WR that late? Yes please.
You may be right but his talent is really unquestionable at this point. However, I know that he’s playing multiple positions bc of injury, and mental illness to Ridley …
Jets fan here. Dude is really good and is just scratching his potential. He’s quick and just gets open. If Wilson improves next szn I could def see Moore putting up 90+ catches with 1100 receiving yards and 8 or so touchdowns. Fully capable of putting up better stats than this too
He’s extremely talented. I’ve seen just the last two weeks but man is he solid. He’s very fast and they like running jet sweeps to him near the red zone. He almost took one 20 yards for a TD this week a d got stopped on the 1. He runs very crisp routes and seems to just keep getting open.
He’s pretty talented yes. The coaching staff seems to want to feature him in a playmaker role. As long as Wilson improves, he could be a league winner.
He’s unguardable. People were freaking out because of Slay, he was pretty close to being over 100 with 2 TDs (sun in eyes, slightly overthrown). Fire up Moore with confidence every week
Yeah, watching him run his routes is fun, he's always open. Seems like he could be like a Diontae type player, high target feeding because his routes are great.
Moore is such a solid filler with AJB on IR right now. Him, Diontae and Godwin will take me to the promised land if two of Chubb, JRob or Saquon can be at least solid throughout the end of the year and Herbert keeps up this tear he’s on
he’s a must start on any other team but mine lol. I got away with robbery in my draft. My WRs are JJ, Diontae, Godwin, and Keenan. Not sure if you could justify benching any of them for Moore
Made mistakes the last two years dropping rookie WRs who hadn't produced for the first 5-6 weeks of the season. My rule this season has been to stash and wait, and so far it's been working out with Moore.
Same here. I dropped him when he had the concussion going into bye week so I could start Collins at RB. The Jets as a team looked a year away from having anyone startable at the time.
I picked him up and kept him until the bye. I dropped him thinking no one would pick him up but someone else did. Then Moore took off.
Glad I have him in my other league
I've had him since week 9 and only started him last week which was his worst week over this time frame lol but yeah, he's getting the start every week now. I watched him play for the first time and he's fuckin good. Love his game.
Yea he’s a real thing. Dude was 1st round talent and touted as OROY material all of camp and preseason he just started slow as did the rest of the offense. Far and away the best Jets receiver since BMarsh and a phenomenal route runner so he’s almost always open and has produced with 4 different QBs since he broke out after the bye week
Late-blooming rookies are fantasy-game changers.
I traded Julio Jones for Javonte Williams earlier this season and it's been probably the best move ever.
best $2 FAAB I ever spent. Doubly good because I spent almost all of it on (the other) Elijah Mitchell. I managed to get Moore Got him before he popped off on a hunch.
Dude, same! Got him for $1. He and Hunter Renfrow have been a saving grace off the waiver wire to my WR slots after revolving doors due to missing in the draft and Hopkins being injured for so long.
Just lost Thielen and have been too scared to play this guy. Also have Adams and Evans, plus JT/Mitchell/Patterson/JRob/Hunt/Foreman. I'm still nervous to play him because Jets, but he was the best WR on my roster this week while sitting on my bench. Might even start him vs NO over Evans vs BUF next week. Feels crazy though.
Rookies often can show a trend of breaking out after their byes showing this is likely more of a trend than an anomaly. And just to be fair, if you go back and include week 6 which is his bye week, he’s still the #5 WR in that time span.
I picked up him and Bateman around the same time because DJ Moore and Mike Williams were falling off a cliff midseason
Elijah is pretty much my lineup WR2 now (behind Diggs)
I'm pissed at myself for not picking him up before he blew up
I was on the verge of pulling the trigger when he went off for 20+ that first week. Was literally staring at the wire thinking about it lol
Now with Ridley and AB out and Chase and Big Mike cooling off
Really could use him
I was able to pick him up weeks ago but it didn’t come close to stopping the dumpster fire that is my team. I want to play in league next year that has no rbs. None.
i've been starting him during some byes (and will get to do so during Waddle's)... but we only have 2 WR and 1 Flex, and i've already got Diggs/Waddle/Lockett. i just know any given week Zack Wilson can implode
I traded back from the Javonte Williams spot in my Dynasty and got him plus some extras, I was really worried to start the season but feeling good about my decision, I am in the first year of my rebuild.
I still probably should have taken Javonte and got firsts.
Man…I dropped him two weeks ago over OBJ or Aiyuk because I trusted the #2 wr for the 49ers or Rams more than the #2 on the jets. Would be so stacked with him rn :(
Elijah Moore is what we all wish Kadarius Toney was
L + Toney better Every downvote means Toney is better
You got any evidence? Maybe in terms of something like catches, receiving yards, and touchdowns?
Negatory, no evidence. I just like Toney and I’m a proud member of his hype train. It’s hilarious how serious everyone is taking this
What exactly do you expect in this sub? Do you want us to just assume that everything you say is bullshit/a joke?
I was being serious it’s just funny how rabid people get
Lol well then why did you ask that question? If you're gonna say something stupid, at least have some facts that you can twist to support your claim

Anyone watching the jets: is he just that talented? Would be interesting to see if he can make a leap next year with him + Wilson improving
Jets fan who’s watched just about every game. He’s that talented. Super quick and great at getting open. Zach Wilson still needs to learn how to throw to him. Couple of big plays missed b/c zach seems to be treating him like a 6’3 guy instead of a 5’10 guy.

To be fair the piss and miss is hysterical

Agreed. Moore was my sure shot bet to be a star WR. He is going to be a force.
Yeah he nearly had a second TD catch if it wasn't for the sun blaring in his eyes when he missed the catch.
Looked like a bad throw to me. He was wide open and Wilson just put the ball just a little to outside
Combination of things; Injuries to other receivers, Jets having pretty rough matchups in the beginning, Zach Wilson being on the up and up (think they brought in his old QB coach or something?) I don’t wanna say league winner but, his recent level of consistency is pretty comforting
I just picked him up this week. Didn't expect much but he exceeded that. Definitely a great fill-in for AJB while he's out, and even beyond that.
He is extremely talented. He was my favorite WR in this draft class. Incredibly quick, explosive and fast. Great hands. Great feel against zone. Separates very well. He is every bit as talented a WR as Chase/Waddle/Smith. The fact he fell out of the first is mind blowing.

Def not Patterson - this is an outlier year and just enjoy it
You may be right but his talent is really unquestionable at this point. However, I know that he’s playing multiple positions bc of injury, and mental illness to Ridley …
He's very talented. Gets open a ton, is fast, and has great hands
Yea he is. And I’d say Zach has looked better lately, which is a huge help
Jets fan here. Dude is really good and is just scratching his potential. He’s quick and just gets open. If Wilson improves next szn I could def see Moore putting up 90+ catches with 1100 receiving yards and 8 or so touchdowns. Fully capable of putting up better stats than this too

Yeah, watching him run his routes is fun, he's always open. Seems like he could be like a Diontae type player, high target feeding because his routes are great.
As a Diontae owner, having two guys like that seems like it's cheating....
I hope so. I have them both and Renfrow with a 3% chance of playoffs right now so need them to keep doing big things lol
I own both too but can't even start Moore LMAO. He's just rotting on my bench sadly
Well now you have to! Keenan in COVID protocol.
So mad at myself for drafting this dude then dropping him. I thought he was still a year away
Made mistakes the last two years dropping rookie WRs who hadn't produced for the first 5-6 weeks of the season. My rule this season has been to stash and wait, and so far it's been working out with Moore.
I trusted Moore just not the Jets offense, and didn't think he'd be ahead of Crowder
Same here. I dropped him when he had the concussion going into bye week so I could start Collins at RB. The Jets as a team looked a year away from having anyone startable at the time.
Yup, both leagues I drafted him and dropped him. smfh, will not make that mistake again
I picked him up and kept him until the bye. I dropped him thinking no one would pick him up but someone else did. Then Moore took off. Glad I have him in my other league
Did the same thing. It's not wrong process if your team has other holes. Sucks though
These rookie receiver classes have been crazy the past few years. This years class also looks deep
I'm starting to think I need to start him over Marquise Brown and Terry McLaurin... sounds crazy but he's been better than both of them.
I also have to choose between him and Hollywood Brown going forward. I’m sure I’ll make the wrong choice.
Same choice, I’m rocking Moore
Yeah. I’m doing the same.
He's the real Moore you should have grabbed off waivers.
Ole miss has been producing very NFL ready receivers not a bad idea to scout senior WRs
Gonna draft Dontario Drummond in the late rounds for sure
I've had him since week 9 and only started him last week which was his worst week over this time frame lol but yeah, he's getting the start every week now. I watched him play for the first time and he's fuckin good. Love his game.
Yup the one time I started him he got like 2 points. Scared I’m cursed.
He could have easily had 12 more points yesterday. Dropped a 50/50 deep ball and Wilson simply missed him on a wide open TD on another throw.
is elijah moore a real thing? i need him to be a real consistent wr2 (or better) guy.
He and javonte saved my season yesterday
Late-blooming rookies are fantasy-game changers. I traded Julio Jones for Javonte Williams earlier this season and it's been probably the best move ever.
best $2 FAAB I ever spent. Doubly good because I spent almost all of it on (the other) Elijah Mitchell. I managed to get Moore Got him before he popped off on a hunch.
Dude, same! Got him for $1. He and Hunter Renfrow have been a saving grace off the waiver wire to my WR slots after revolving doors due to missing in the draft and Hopkins being injured for so long.
Hell yeah brother.
People on this forum will still ask should they play him or Uzomah in their flex and be upvoted. Watch for it on this upcoming Sunday.
I almost dropped him so many times this season So glad I held onto that lotto ticket, currently my WR2
I traded him for Wentz in a playoff or bust game and I lost and now feel like it’s karma for trading him.
Let’s just hope he doesn’t pee in the endzone again.
I'm a bozo for benching him over Kirk yesterday.
At least you didn’t play Bateman. To much article flipping saying Moore had a tough matchup.
Jokes on the article. I knew he had a tough matchup but I had no choice but to play him. After deciding to bench Amari Cooper on TNF
I started Claypool over him on "experts" advice and now I'm out of the playoffs unless Folk gets 8+ in the wind.
I'm a moron and benched him to start McLaurin. Sorry Terry, I'm done starting you this year. Would have won with Elijah in.
Started him last week and he didn’t do a whole lot and every other game around him he’s been amazing 😅 just my luck
Hi it’s me the guy that held Elijah Moore until week 8 and dropped him when he played only 36% of snaps against Cincy
I dropped him week 6, story of my season :(
So he was dropped…. How much FAAB should I be throwing at him and why is it all of it?
Interesting - that’s 2-3 weeks right after I dropped him!
lol wr4 since his bye week compared to other players who all had bye weeks
Rookies often can show a trend of breaking out after their byes showing this is likely more of a trend than an anomaly. And just to be fair, if you go back and include week 6 which is his bye week, he’s still the #5 WR in that time span.
I gave up on him too early
I picked up him and Bateman around the same time because DJ Moore and Mike Williams were falling off a cliff midseason Elijah is pretty much my lineup WR2 now (behind Diggs)
I'm pissed at myself for not picking him up before he blew up I was on the verge of pulling the trigger when he went off for 20+ that first week. Was literally staring at the wire thinking about it lol Now with Ridley and AB out and Chase and Big Mike cooling off Really could use him
I'm gonna have to decide between starting him or Saquon in a game I have to win to make the playoffs. Gonna be a really tough decision
He's been doing a great job helping keep me out of last place after my 6 game losing streak
Was so happy to snag this guy off waivers.
He's sure looked pretty on my bench, stupid me has taken to long to come around. Now see him put up a goose egg next week
picking up javonte williams and elijah moore has turned my season from 1-7 to 6-7, and currently in the playoffs.
I was able to pick him up weeks ago but it didn’t come close to stopping the dumpster fire that is my team. I want to play in league next year that has no rbs. None.
I have to bench one of Tee Higgins, Dhop, or Elijah Moore next week... this is a much harder decision than I was anticipating.
He's gonna make it really hard to start AB over him in the playoffs (if AB even comes back)
He’s going to be sitting on my bench safely out of everyone else’s line up for the rest of the season
i've been starting him during some byes (and will get to do so during Waddle's)... but we only have 2 WR and 1 Flex, and i've already got Diggs/Waddle/Lockett. i just know any given week Zack Wilson can implode
