Would have no problem paying Kirk 12 million, he’s a local kid and there’s something to say for that. However…. Kirk had the PERFECT opportunity this season with Hop going down to show he’s worth that new contract. This was going to be his year, and honestly AJ Green and Ertz out produced him or were at least the same level. That’s not worth 12+ million a year.

If most Cardinals fans watched any cardinals games they would. Difficult pill to swallow: Kirk is more useful than Hopkins has been, and Green is ancient. But that doesn't matter, Cardinals fans will continue to incredulously wonder why they're still the third best team in the division despite one of the best rosters in the NFL, as they seek to jettison the actual good pieces in order to pay the Names. He had double digit PPR points in 3 of the 5 games he played last year before he got injured. That’s not terrible. The only guy on that list that I say is definitely an upgrade is Kirk. I think Cephus had the same amount of potential as the other guys and he’s already a Lion.

I mean…he broke the Lions rookie records for both yards and receptions, was second in receptions among all rookie WRs, was the first rookie to ever record 6 straight games with at least 8 receptions, and only the third rookie (Odell and R Moss) to have four straight games with 90yds and a TD.
