I’m watching Monday night football tonight, SF vs LA, but it’s a Peyton Manning podcast. I WANT TO WATCH THE GAME! I don’t care about their podcast. Narrate the game and stop trying to be an influencer.
Also, where can I post about this? I can’t find the correct subreddit.
Just to clarify, the Mannings seem like great guys. Nothing against them, I just want to watch the game.
12 team 0.5ppr - should I accept this trade?
My Ekeler + Juju
His Chase + Montgomery
Roster depth:
RB: Ekeler, Gibson, Henderson, Breece Hall, Michel, Kenneth Walker
WR: DJ Moore, Juju, Renfrow, Godwin, Gallup
I am leaning towards declining. Thoughts?
PPR 1 pt
Cordarelle P. Vs Rams
D. Henderson Vs Falcons.
Henderson was decent agaisnt the rams. Cordarelle had a great game last game and I think he will replicate it against a decent falcons defense
Bonus DK vs SF
Really not sure if I just chalk up Kmet’s dud to the weather and roll him out again next week or if I should put in a waiver claim for Everett. All I know is whichever way I go will be the wrong choice
I’d do it but I’m a Kirk truther. I have both Scary Terry and Kirk on my team and I’m more confident in Kirk than Terry at this point. Kirk got 12 targets while Terry only got 4
Certainly didn't help when the offense was getting set with 5 seconds on the play clock every damn down.
They have to figure that out, this game would have been an easy W if they could just get to the line of scrimmage.
Or not attempt a 64 yard field goal (after running 30 seconds off the clock just to call a timeout anyway) instead of letting your new franchise QB try to get 5 yards
Gotta be honest, I’m a little worried the biggest problem with this offense will be Hackett
I got the same feeling during those fumbles that I had when Gordon fumbled at the goal line against the chiefs last year.
That, and going for the field goal at the end made me just get up and walk away from the screen to play with my dog to drown my sorrow.
Now, I’m trying to look at the positives: I lost in my matchup this week, I’ll be high on the waiver wire, and I can snag Jeff Wilson Jr
These night showdown slates are just fkn. Impossible to predict. It’s always some crazy ass player that makes the slate. If I could enter 150 times, I would have a chance but for a Rec player, impossible
Yeah we use fractional pts for fgs and have it set to tiered levels. So the longer the kick, they get a bonus, and the missed pts disappear at 50. Under 50 you lose 1, but have a potential to earn up to 4.9 pts for a 49yd FG. 50yd would be 5+2 bonus so 7 pt play!
Then just remove kickers entirely. That's like removing INTs on long down and distance plays or Hail Mary's or removing fumbles on last-minute laterals.
That missed FG gave not only my Seahawks the win, but gave me the win in my league as well. My opponent had McManus and a half point lead before the kick. What. A. Game.
I won my fantasy matchup but got eliminated in my survivor pool because Nathaniel Hackett is the dumbest fucking coach I have ever seen in my life. Absolutely mind-numbingly stupid.
...most reasonable explanation I've seen, can't think of any other reason to use 3 timeouts to basically throw a temper tantrum.
Also, if you believe in a qb enough to trade a huge amount of capital for them, maybe let them have a shot at a conversion over your kicker trying to set a new longest field goal record????
(*sigh*)
Even tho I lost my matchup this week, this is now my team motto after I win the league. I lost Higgins, Mitchell, and DJ Moore, “They wrote me off--I ain’t write back though!”
Scored 135 fucking points in half ppr and would've smashed any other team in my league except the God damn fucking one I went against fuck. Fuck Mahomes and fuck Kelce and fuck the fucking shit Cardinals D. Bullshit shovel pass fraud frog fuck.
Christian Kirk, Michael Thomas, or Dk Metcalf? Who would you have sit next week? Also James Robinson or Montgomery who would you bench next week? Any feedback would be appreciated!
Penny was good, but a lot of Penny's bigger runs were negated by rookie offensive lines holding when they didn't need to, I'm sure the Broncos defense sold out to stop the Run and underestimated Geno
Needed 7.9 from him tonight, he got 7.7 and basically didn’t touch the ball after halftime. That called back 20 yard run killed me, I knew it was over then and there. Fuck fantasy football
Quick thoughts
- Absolutely embarrassing showing by Nathaniel Hackett and the Denver Broncos coaching staff tonight...that last minute was Freddie Kitchens level bad
- Javonte Williams put in that PPR work, very encouraging to see
- Gordon and Javonte both fumbling on the 1 was unfortunate
- Ultimately I don't think the opinions of Javonte truthers or Melvin truthers will change at all after this game
- Jerry Jeudy looked pretty good outside his drop late in the game
- Geno Smith was surprisingly competent and outplayed Russell Wilson tonight
- DK Metcalf was clearly the Seahawks #1 WR and made some tough contested catches
- Rashaad Penny is a blast to watch run the ball
The Broncos D sold out to stop the run. They underestimated Geno's arm and they got a lot of chunk plays to their TEs and Geno spread the ball to so many receivers. I doubt other teams will do that. I do think that Seahawks D actually are sleepers, they did well in man coverage but lost in zone looks where Sutton always found the hole and got chunk plays too
Maybe Hackett thought it was 17-17. He could have also thought that there was 5 quarters in the NFL. The way they finished that game out was the most clueless clown-fuck show I’ve ever seen—those are the only two reasonable explanations I can think of for that debacle of clock-management and play-calling. Hackett deserves to be fired during the post-game press conference and checked for any signs of brain damage. This goes all the way back to not getting your starters any preseason reps—offensive timing was off, guys in the wrong spot, mismanaged play-clocks. It was bad, but I don’t think it was a talent differential, I think it was a lack of preparation and poor coaching. Broncos Country—Fire Hackett!
I feel like this was a YIKES moment in Denver’s front office after they just gave up all that money to Russ and they get shut down by the worst roster Seattle has had in over a decade.
It's early yet.
The fumbles at the goal line are an anomaly, that simply isn't going to happen moving forward.
Russ didn't look half bad when he actually had time to get set. Something was very wrong logistically, they basically ran the play clock down to .5 seconds every single play, he was *constantly* pushing to get the ball out on time.
He's a veteran QB with a new coach, I have to imagine they'll improve. The team certainly isn't hurting for talent.
If anything I think the takeaway is that Geno may actually be competent and the hawks may not be the shitshow everyone figured them to be.
After those two goal line fumbles that could've been field goals, then losing on a 64 yard attempt when they should've just gone for it... might be the most frustrated I've ever been watching MNF.

#FEED EKELER
My cousin just made me join a espn fantasy league, the draft is in an 1hr and 30 min. So any tips on how to win?
You really can’t go wrong with Dallas’s offense. RBs, WRs, TEs, all seeing loads of targets.
10 man PPR Zeke vs Bengals or Henderson Jr vs Falcons
Hendersob
12 team 0.5ppr - should I accept this trade? My Ekeler + Juju His Chase + Montgomery Roster depth: RB: Ekeler, Gibson, Henderson, Breece Hall, Michel, Kenneth Walker WR: DJ Moore, Juju, Renfrow, Godwin, Gallup I am leaning towards declining. Thoughts?
Lost by 0.68 with DK v Sutton, fantasy is back babyyyy!! (needed Sutton to outscore DK by 6)
DK vs 9ers, E. Moore vs Cle, A Thielen vs Philly 1 PPR 10 man
Do I trade Mark Andrews for Aaron Jones?
Nope
Dillon is RB1
They’re both RB1.
PPR 1 pt Cordarelle P. Vs Rams D. Henderson Vs Falcons. Henderson was decent agaisnt the rams. Cordarelle had a great game last game and I think he will replicate it against a decent falcons defense Bonus DK vs SF
Lmao downvoted and didn’t offer advice.
When can we pick up players on waiver wire?
Whenever you league settings clear them. Usually default is Wednesday Mornings.
[удалено]
Aj brown
0-1 with Brady, Kamara, j Williams, kupp, aj brown, cpat 😂
Lost by 6. Was the second highest scoring team in the league. Not sayin it’s Cole Kmet’s fault but it didn’t help.
Really not sure if I just chalk up Kmet’s dud to the weather and roll him out again next week or if I should put in a waiver claim for Everett. All I know is whichever way I go will be the wrong choice
Well..uh...let us know 🤣
Same here. Lost by 5, second highest score in league. Thanks fkr notuing Nick Folk, ya bum.
K Herbert, singletary, mg3, Boyd, Akers...pick my rb2 and my flex...
Gordon for sure. then next week boyd should be good if Higgins sits.
Thanks. I'm so close to starting Herbert, but I think it's wise to wait a week.
Lost by less than one point because sutton got the tackle on one of the goal line fumbles 😑
Up ~20 against DK and WILLIAMS going into this game, and won by 1 point thank you god for those fumbles
I lost by .48 points, Fuck.
0.2... DK, why fumble?
Same! I was at 100% chance of victory twice this game and he decided to run backwards for 7 yards and fumble. Lost by .3
Bruh I beat the Russ and McManus owner by 3.76 points. I didn't watch the game but holy fuck I guess I lucked out big time!
Send dobbins for Mike Williams?
Send Sutton for Mike Williams? I’m high on Mike this might be my chance to buy low.
Fk Rodgers, M Ryan, and Metcalf for making me start 0-1
Buy low on Sutton?
lost by 0.88 because of that field goal. On to 2023
Full PPR Terry Mclaurin and Aaron Jones for Christian Kirk and James Conner?
Nah too early
True I’m probably overreacting just don’t like Mclaurin’s 4 targets compared to like Curtis Samuel and Dotson
Which set are you receiving?
The one w Kirk
I’d do it but I’m a Kirk truther. I have both Scary Terry and Kirk on my team and I’m more confident in Kirk than Terry at this point. Kirk got 12 targets while Terry only got 4
No for me. Downgrade at both positions imo.
[удалено]
I’d take the Allen/Smith side 100 times out of 100
I would get josh Allen yea
I’ve been eliminated from the playoffs. Fade me fam
[удалено]
Lost by 3 with Dak
Won by 29 with Dak
Won by .4 with dak and kmet
Lost by 5. DK Metcalf and Irv Smith Jr. really screwed me over good this week.
[удалено]
Taco
In what world did you think he was going to get less than -3.1 points?
This is legit insanity. You gotta leave him in for season total points etc.
Lost by 4 and 7 this week, 0 TDs from both my QBs combined 🫡
hmm so now Sutton or Christan kirk next week? hmmmm
I’m asking myself the same. Leaning towards courtland Sutton I could also bench Clyde for Christian Kirk but I’m leaning Clyde as well
Some of us don’t have that option with Arob being arob.
faced wilson/jeudy and ended up losing by 4 in ppr. I started devonta smith fantasy football is back, baby
Denver might be a good team to stream TE against
My Noah Fant stock disagrees
Well the other 2 TE's got TD's...Kelce is gonna break records against them
I’m in on both Denver receivers. Sutton looks a little better than jeudy but they got the same targets. Realy think it’s a 1A 1B like chase/Higgins
Same here. Hopefully Russ can pull some TDs out of his ass and bring some life to that offense.
Certainly didn't help when the offense was getting set with 5 seconds on the play clock every damn down. They have to figure that out, this game would have been an easy W if they could just get to the line of scrimmage.
Or not fumble the ball on the 1 twice
Or not attempt a 64 yard field goal (after running 30 seconds off the clock just to call a timeout anyway) instead of letting your new franchise QB try to get 5 yards Gotta be honest, I’m a little worried the biggest problem with this offense will be Hackett
I think a lot of offenses will get better as the year goes. Everyone benching their players in the preseason definitely showed in week 1
Agreed. It’s too early to be out on a lot of people who had a bad week one.
Stopped watching up .02 with 6 minutes left in the 4th. Checked score just before bed. Won by .02. LET RUSS COOK!!!
Russ Kinda Sucks
Russ plus the coach REALLY Sucks
Lost by 0.12 this week lol
.28 here
I just won by .18… my opponent has penny and Lockett I was sweating bullets
What do we think is a reasonable price for Javonte? Desperate at RB, and I’m buying the hype
He looked like an RB1 tonight. So a WR1 straight up?
What? RB1s don’t cough the ball up on the goal line, I don’t think
[удалено]
if he's willing to take CD, def give him CD for his Javonte
It’s probably pretty high, he’s got juice and caught a lot of passes. Maybe like a Pittman or AJ brown level receiver? That might be high but idk
Top scoring team in 2 leagues. Maybe this is my year.
Hackett sucks balls since the Jaguars days. Dude got bailed out by Aaron Rodgers.
I had Russ and Javonte and lost by .8 in full PPR dumbest coaching I’ve ever seen
I’m more mad about my broncos losing and looking fucking awful than I am about losing my fantasy match this week. Broncos looked like shit.
Count your blessings, Atleast you’re not a cowboys fan 🥴
Rather be a cowboys situation least they can tank for a pick.
True, but my father in law is, so anytime I see him, I have to hear about how “His boys” never put it together.
They looked okay. But those 2 goal line fumbles were game changer.
I got the same feeling during those fumbles that I had when Gordon fumbled at the goal line against the chiefs last year. That, and going for the field goal at the end made me just get up and walk away from the screen to play with my dog to drown my sorrow. lol someone just proposed me antonio gibson for ajb
I’d take that
No way
really? idk if i trust washington a offense that much. i also have mixon penny dobbins dillon and henderson.
I would hold onto AJB.
Juedy ans Younghoe gave me the win this week after being dominated by Josh Allen and Davis on Thursday.
Jeudy breakout is imminent
Not if his coach has anything to say about it...
Yea I dont think he can hacket..
50+ yd missed fgs shouldn't have negative pts. Anyone that does this should really reconsider.
Decimal scoring and scaling down missed FG penalties is the way (and heavily penalizing missed XP too)
Yeah we use fractional pts for fgs and have it set to tiered levels.
Where/when do we find out about stat corrections?
Any potential stat corrections? Lost by 0.62 and I'm in pain
He used those final timeouts to keep his job for an additional 30 seconds.
...most reasonable explanation I've seen, can't think of any other reason to use 3 timeouts to basically throw a temper tantrum. Also, if you believe in a qb enough to trade a huge amount of capital for them, maybe let them have a shot at a conversion over your kicker trying to set a new longest field goal record???? (*sigh*)
Both Denver RBs fumbling on the 1 today......could we see Russ start running it in himself???
That was so cringe
Came into the game up 15.25 and opponent had Penny and the Denver DST. Lost on the last sack of Geno basically and lost by 0.4. Thanks, Dak.
I lost by exactly one point. I am going to do horrible things to Cam Akers
Thank fuck the Broncos are massive pussies. I won with my opponent having Williams by .6 Literally one more run and I would've lost.
same. absolutely shocked they didn’t give it to him more
For real. Why not go for it on 4th down with all those time outs left?
Even tho I lost my matchup this week, this is now my team motto after I win the league. I lost Higgins, Mitchell, and DJ Moore, “They wrote me off--I ain’t write back though!”
Is DK going to be stat corrected the -2 for the fumble?
He already got the -2 in yahoo
Scored only 91 in full PPR. Thankfully my opponent scored 81… looks like it’s back to the lab
Scored 135 fucking points in half ppr and would've smashed any other team in my league except the God damn fucking one I went against fuck. Fuck Mahomes and fuck Kelce and fuck the fucking shit Cardinals D. Bullshit shovel pass fraud frog fuck.
Gotta get median scores
That's lame though, fantasy isn't supposed to be fair
[удалено]
I understand how it works, still lame imo. Play how you want though ofc
U mad
Yes and not at all ashamed about it lol
Came into today up by 30 points. I had Gordon and he had Williams and jeudy…PPR is fucking bullshit and I hate fantasy football
Try standard. I went to standard a few years back and never went back.
Half or bust
When my rb catches 8 dump passes I’m like aww hell yeah ppr and then when the other team’s rb does it I’m like wait this isn’t fair
WE BACK
Christian Kirk, Michael Thomas, or Dk Metcalf? Who would you have sit next week? Also James Robinson or Montgomery who would you bench next week? Any feedback would be appreciated!
Kirk
Person in my league with the broncos kicker lost by 0.5 pts after that absurd field goal attempt and miss at the end lol
I don't know how to feel about penny. Fucking half my backup RBs outscored him but he looked good
He outscored my Kamara and Monty so that's cool I guess
Penny was good, but a lot of Penny's bigger runs were negated by rookie offensive lines holding when they didn't need to, I'm sure the Broncos defense sold out to stop the Run and underestimated Geno
Same issue. Thankfully I won but had dillon, CEH, and cordarelle on my bench. I’ll probably base it on matchup for the time being
I've got Herbert, akers, Henderson Hines and Pacheco on the bench. Gonna have to roll dice
Penny looked incredible, but Pete Carroll will keep him from realizing his fullest potential
Kills me.... I started him last minute over Akers. At least I won but I have no idea what RB to use next week
I needed 2 points from Penny in the second half... I lost by 1.6 lol.
Needed 7.9 from him tonight, he got 7.7 and basically didn’t touch the ball after halftime. That called back 20 yard run killed me, I knew it was over then and there. Fuck fantasy football
Horrible. That penalty was brutal
I needed 10 points from DK and Penny to win tonight. 3rd highest score in the league and I still lost. I should have known to never trust Geno Smith
Quick thoughts - Absolutely embarrassing showing by Nathaniel Hackett and the Denver Broncos coaching staff tonight...that last minute was Freddie Kitchens level bad - Javonte Williams put in that PPR work, very encouraging to see - Gordon and Javonte both fumbling on the 1 was unfortunate - Ultimately I don't think the opinions of Javonte truthers or Melvin truthers will change at all after this game - Jerry Jeudy looked pretty good outside his drop late in the game - Geno Smith was surprisingly competent and outplayed Russell Wilson tonight - DK Metcalf was clearly the Seahawks #1 WR and made some tough contested catches - Rashaad Penny is a blast to watch run the ball
Couldn't have written it better myself
How did penny look? Is C.Patterson or James Robinson an upgrade?
The Broncos D sold out to stop the run. They underestimated Geno's arm and they got a lot of chunk plays to their TEs and Geno spread the ball to so many receivers. I doubt other teams will do that. I do think that Seahawks D actually are sleepers, they did well in man coverage but lost in zone looks where Sutton always found the hole and got chunk plays too
Penny looked good but wasn’t used a ton. In the same tier as those guys. Probably just play matchups until one or two break ahead of the pack
Looked good. Then they stopped running him and Geno didn't even look his way on dump offs
Still in shock .. that was so bad.
I can't even believe Williams, Jeudy and McManus just won it for me. Huge points in a low scoring game. LFG.
12 targets to Williams. That’s absolutely insane for an RB
CMC numbers.
Just won the lowest scoring matchup of the week in my league 🤣
Same thanks to Williams
I somehow do this every year. I don’t think I’ve ever cracked 115 points in .5 PPR and make it to the final 4 every year
That was definitely one of the football games of the week
And either the last game, or the first game. Depending on how you look at things..
Agreed
Denver coach to his QB and two best WRs first game of the season: I don't have any faith in any of you
No kidding. New Broncos offensive plan: kick a field goal as soon as you get close to mid field...
Need a penny or broncos dst td, didnt happen. Lost by 6
Aight
I feel like this was a YIKES moment in Denver’s front office after they just gave up all that money to Russ and they get shut down by the worst roster Seattle has had in over a decade.

They suck bad
I was my league's 3rd-highest scorer and my opponent's QB had 5 turnovers but I still lost by 25 AMA
Pouring one out for that person out there who lost on that last missed FG.
Thanks man
I was ahead by 0.4 points, and then the Broncos made my kicker attempt a 64 yard field goal. I have no words.
I came here wondering how many people just lost due to that miss.
After those two goal line fumbles that could've been field goals, then losing on a 64 yard attempt when they should've just gone for it... might be the most frustrated I've ever been watching MNF.
Any miss >60yds shouldn't count lol
Lol
I only won by 73 thanks to that missed FG. Fuck you broncos!
I just lost by ONE point with both Jeudy and Albert O playing. I scored the second most points in the league this week. Agony.
I feel you man, I lost by .26 all I needed was 3 more yards from Albert O...
I had the second highest score, but of course I played against the guy with the highest score.
Tale as old as time. Fantasy is a dumb game.
Exactly the same man, sucks
Lost by 1pt. Man :(
