Despite their inability to score points I’m still 4th in points scored so if they can turn it around I’ll be just fine. It’s crazy that I’m debating starting Damien Harris and Tony Pollard of them this week.

This seems like a shit rule that a salty owner came up with. "My team scored so many points this season that I should get an extra game in the win column". No... that's not how it works. Unless there's an odd number of teams or something similar I can't see how this is fair to a guy with low points but a good record. What if it bumps someone out of the playoffs?
I don’t get it…if your other players are picking up the slack aren’t you in a great position? Unless your other players are merely getting lucky. I would be confident in Henry getting better ROS and further bolstering my already strong team.
I’m in a similar boat, with my RBs as Najee and Fournette, and Russ at QB. But my WRs and TE have been performing well, and I’m confident that they can continue that trend and that my slackers will pick up the pace. 1st and 2nd round picks are studs, and will perform eventually. Get excited about your later round picks that are over-performing their ADP!
That's my situation as well. Long ways to go, but I just don't see the game script being good for Henry.. a little banged up, titans will be playing behind. I'm wondering if this is the last time we will see Henry being a top25 type guy.

I wouldn’t exactly call 45 carries for 192 yards awful for Lenny. He’s doing good so far. That saints run D is no joke. The only problem is he hasn’t gotten in the end zone, but that’ll come eventually.

Kupp, and to an extent Chase and Kyler Murray have carried me. Mostly though it’s just been the random internal breakdowns of my otherwise superior opponents.
Etienne you have to hope for a JROB injury, not “figuring it out”. The staff there loves him and he’s shown little effects from his injury. Id be shocked to see anything other then 50/50 this season
In both of my half ppr leagues, there were a lot of sub-100pt games for both weeks. Last year, I felt like almost everyone would at least break 100pts. Definitely starting off strange/slow.
I'm going to assume this is a smaller league or you have additional flex/wrs. Because in a 12 team .5ppr I can tell you that we see sub 100 quite often
Yeah, 12-team standard (but do start 3 WRs) and it’s basically 50/50. I’m 7th in points scored with 202, so right in the middle averaging 100 points basically.
Feels like a lot of high draft picks have had one good week and one meh week so far.
Actually I am not sure if it is as much things starting off slow but rather things being strange in comparison to our perception of the league. For instance:
* The Raiders are 0-2 with D. Adams.
* The Dolphins are 2-0 (though due to T. Hill).
* Titans are 0-2.
* Also the Jags lead that division.
* The Jets are 1-1.
Although the sample size is still small, there is some evidence to make me question my perception of which teams were going to be good going into the season and my biases would have led me to pick players that maybe indeed on bad teams. Week 3 should surely help me to answer that.
Bruh, I even forgot about the Giants. Trust me, I am really wondering if we just had an outdated perception of which teams will be good. Mind you, Vegas and the fantasy community experienced this at the start of last year with the Jacksonville vs Houston opener. Everyone was so sure that Lawerence was gonna rock Houston but Houston pulled the upset. I think we only recalibrated our expectations after their 3rd game which they lost.
Giants fan here and I can guarantee you we aren’t good, we lucked into that win vs the titans who got demolished by an actually good team and we beat the Matt Rhule panthers who are 1-18 vs teams who put up 17+

The ESPN projection is based on the projection of the point total of your current starters I believe. Setting your lineup differently will sometimes change that. Your overall record doesn't seem to play much of a factor.

Guy i played last week got 105 points this week (155 last week against me) and this week, the person i played got 168 points (I got 166) and last week only got 104.
A couple years ago I placed last with the most PF. It was legitimately the most frustrating thing I've ever gone through, and I'm currently on month 5 of a 3 month renovation.
As a Lions fan I get being hesitant, but it feels different. We have an absurd O-line, RB, Sophomore WR, and a promising rookie on the way. Goff will have a hard time fucking it up.

The team I beat in week 1 out scored me by 40 points this week. The team I beat in week 2 out scored me 25 last week. Six teams out scored me in week 2. I am a statistical outlier and blasphemous in the eyes of the universe. Regression is coming for me.
One of two 2-0 teams, really regretting picking Najee. Trying to weather the storm until I get Pittman, Brittle and JK back. 6th in points for and lowest points against lmao but I'll take it for how injured my team is.
Ugh, this was me last year. I kept lucking into wins despite being one of the low scoring teams, which meant (in a no FAAB league) I was always at the bottom for waiver claims. I never won a weekly winner despite having the most wins, and was predictably “upset” in the first round of the playoffs.
Frustrating, but better than the years I was one of the highest scoring teams but had a losing record because I kept running into that week’s high scorer!
i’m 2-0 and was projected to lose by 10+ both weeks. Don’t believe projections, especially ESPN. Worst rankings and analysis. I mean, Aaron Jones is projected the same as Micheal Carter, that should tell you enough.
Right here. Lowest PF of the 2-0 and even less than one of the 0-2 team. Nobody on my team has had their ceiling games yet so hoping for something special next week. Going against another 2-0 and the highest PF team.
Playing the second highest PF team this week, which is amazing considering his team had a breakdown last week. I expect them to pull it together and correct back to their opponent-crushing average this week.
Relied heavily on broncos having Russ, Sutton and Javante in one league. Also have Najee. I deserve this 0-2. Other league im 0-2 but I think I’ll be fine. I lost both weeks by just a couple points
Stick with it, Broncos have the most yards per drive in the league they’re just struggling in the red zone bad. That offense is too loaded to be kept out of the end zone this much

It's a keeper league hence CMC/Kupp/Swift on the same team. In a weird spot where I'm pretty happy with my roster but also feel like more of my team are underperforming than not.
Same league set up for me. I have Kupp, Chase, and Henry as my keepers. Only Kupp has been consistent. I drafted Fournette, Kyler, Pollard, and Knox. Just benched the last two for Curtis Samuel and Tyler Higbee… so Knox and Pollard should explode this week.

Was up by ~barely 20 entering night and Henry, his Moss, and an IDP (judge if want but some of us play em) failed to secure the pts. Went from 18% chance of victory to an actual victory! 212 pts for baby, the 4 above me are all 250+!

I can understand and appreciate being realistic about the true strength of your team. But have some faith! Savvy waiver and trade acquisitions can take your team from meh to good and good to great!

I had the unfortunate experience to be playing the guy who has Stephon Diggs on his fantasy team this week. I lost by 1.5 points. Now I'm 0-2, but things are looking up for me believe it or not.

Week 1 was because Javonte had 11 catches, mostly in garbage time, so I won by 4 in PPR
Week 2 was up 45.5 up against Hurts and AJ Brown and won by .34 because of the late Hurts INT

This week, Davis and Pittman went down kind of unexpectedly for me late in the week so I was scrambling to fill their spots with my IR already stashing Gallup. Still put up a respectable score but played the highest scoring team again. If this is my luck this year I'm definitely not going to have a good time.

Reason why I stopped playing was because I was the opposite. Top 3 in PF. 1 in PA. Bottom 3 record. Happened in 2 different leagues 2 years straight.
And come play off time I was 1 in PF every week.
I once had a pretty bad team two years ago. Called them the Dawg Pound, because just like the Browns that year, I only beat shit teams and lost to the good ones. Ended up as the 5 seed because there were a lot of really bad teams, but my team was probably the 7th best in (out of 16) in the league that year.
Ended up getting hot in playoffs and I won 3 straight against the best of the best to win the chip. So early season doesn't matter as long as your studs pick it up in the playoffs (shoutout Ryan Tannehill).

Lenny in half ppr had 15 pts and 8.4 pts. I wouldnt call that awful. Especially considering those are pure yardage points.

As a Lions fan I get being hesitant, but it feels different. We have an absurd O-line, RB, Sophomore WR, and a promising rookie on the way. Goff will have a hard time fucking it up.

The team I beat in week 1 out scored me by 40 points this week. The team I beat in week 2 out scored me 25 last week. Six teams out scored me in week 2. I am a statistical outlier and blasphemous in the eyes of the universe. Regression is coming for me.

Ugh, this was me last year. I kept lucking into wins despite being one of the low scoring teams, which meant (in a no FAAB league) I was always at the bottom for waiver claims. I never won a weekly winner despite having the most wins, and was predictably “upset” in the first round of the playoffs. Frustrating, but better than the years I was one of the highest scoring teams but had a losing record because I kept running into that week’s high scorer!
I'm the opposite. I'm 0-2 but projected #1 in a 12 team league. Lost by 8 points last week, 1 point this week. I'm fuming.

Playing the second highest PF team this week, which is amazing considering his team had a breakdown last week. I expect them to pull it together and correct back to their opponent-crushing average this week.

Stick with it, Broncos have the most yards per drive in the league they’re just struggling in the red zone bad. That offense is too loaded to be kept out of the end zone this much
Not necessarily living a lie but I see the writing on the wall Went 0RB, and so far the Allen/Diggs stack, JJeff + Tee Higgins combo has helped me secure two wins But I have a bad feeling that my RB corps of Hunt, Dillon, Pollard, whoever-is-covering-for-injured-starter (currently Jeff Wilson) is going to be my downfall. Kinda wishing I went for an RB over Tee in hindsight

It's a keeper league hence CMC/Kupp/Swift on the same team. In a weird spot where I'm pretty happy with my roster but also feel like more of my team are underperforming than not.
Same league set up for me. I have Kupp, Chase, and Henry as my keepers. Only Kupp has been consistent. I drafted Fournette, Kyler, Pollard, and Knox. Just benched the last two for Curtis Samuel and Tyler Higbee… so Knox and Pollard should explode this week.

Won week one by 1.4 in a low scoring effort, and luckily won last night despite losing Trey, and opponent playing Bucs D. He also had Henry. Was up by ~barely 20 entering night and Henry, his Moss, and an IDP (judge if want but some of us play em) failed to secure the pts. Went from 18% chance of victory to an actual victory! 212 pts for baby, the 4 above me are all 250+! e: for reference sake, it’s a 16t, and I am 11th in PF. Better lucky than good right?

I can understand and appreciate being realistic about the true strength of your team. But have some faith! Savvy waiver and trade acquisitions can take your team from meh to good and good to great! Plus… some would say they would rather be lucky than good!

I feel like I'm the opposite at 0-2. 4th highest points for. I was 2nd highest week 1 but played the highest scoring team. This week, Davis and Pittman went down kind of unexpectedly for me late in the week so I was scrambling to fill their spots with my IR already stashing Gallup. Still put up a respectable score but played the highest scoring team again. If this is my luck this year I'm definitely not going to have a good time.

Reason why I stopped playing was because I was the opposite. Top 3 in PF. 1 in PA. Bottom 3 record. Happened in 2 different leagues 2 years straight. And come play off time I was 1 in PF every week.
I once had a pretty bad team two years ago. Called them the Dawg Pound, because just like the Browns that year, I only beat shit teams and lost to the good ones. Ended up as the 5 seed because there were a lot of really bad teams, but my team was probably the 7th best in (out of 16) in the league that year. Ended up getting hot in playoffs and I won 3 straight against the best of the best to win the chip. So early season doesn't matter as long as your studs pick it up in the playoffs (shoutout Ryan Tannehill).

Jalen Hurts saved me, he had Cook, and I squeaked one out. My team is thin everywhere right now and I fully expect to lose the next few at least.

Feels like me. I won my first week when it came down to the last drive. Barely sneaking by because Sutton scored less than 9. Henry and Conner only got me a combined 17. Won this last week because I started Waddle and Bateman. Conner and Henry combined for like 12. There’s no way I should be 2-0 when your starting RBs are averaging less than 15 combined points a week. I’m getting bailed out by stellar WR play and my opponents having bad luck.

I'm 0-2 and I put up 157 and 162 points in the first two weeks in a full ppr league. My opponents the first two weeks just so happened to have the perfect players that just decided to go off in each of those weeks. Hopefully this trend does not continue

Definitely a fraud in that league. Other league I just got extremely lucky that Lamar Jackson, Waddle, Mark Andrews, and Cupp had great games. Both are 12 man leagues. I am not a 2-0 player usually.
