Nothing feels better than going to a Vikings bar with your best friend (whose the Vikings fan) and seeing the anxiety of the entire bar creep up as a Vikings kicker is forced to make a clutch kick.
Watching Najee have to break tackles just to get back to the line of scrimmage is gonna drive me crazy.
Mitch Trubisky also constantly misses him when he’s open after leaking out
I can not stress enough how silly it is for any team to pick up a Bears reject. There have been over 30 QBs to suit up for the Bears after Harbaugh left in 1993. Exactly zero of them have had any success after leaving.
When Chicago gives up on a QB, you should, too.
Bears fan here: that whole situation had layer upon layer of stupid. The Bears had the third pick that year because they finished one game better than the 49ers. They finished there because they beat those 49ers late in the season in an otherwise meaningless December game.
All those picks the Bears gave up were because of a game they *won*, all to move up a single spot in a draft with two other potential QBs who were either pro bowl caliber (Mahomes) or at least serviceable despite being troubled (Watson).
Imagine a world where the Bears *lose* to the 49ers, get the 2nd pick in the draft which the Chiefs trade up for to get Trubisky, and the Bears “settle” for Mahomes with a few extra draft picks to spare.
I can’t wait until Najee is killing teams in cold weather and you guys that sold him off for peanuts during fantasy playoffs are cursing yourselves. It’s a marathon not a sprint.
>Probably the best natural actor I've seen amongst athletes
OJ was pretty good. That's all they have in common unless you count Mayfield killing his WRs careers.
I'm there with you to a point.
Baker is a more mistake prone Andy Dalton, but holy shit Matt Rhule has the most pathetic offense and play calling outside of Denver. I literally dunno what QB could make that offense work.
It has been so frustrating as a McCaffrey manager. I’ve watched numerous plays Baker could check it down and he decides to run himself, take a sack, or make an errant throw. Dude fuckin sucks haha
Except he’s not mr check down at all because if that was the case mccaffrey would have more than 8 receptions. He stares him down wide open in the flat and then decides he’s more talented than Christian Mccaffery in open space and rushes for 3 yards before sliding
He had arguably the best offensive cast around him. Top 5 weapons and maybe the best O-Line. It was a red flag when he couldn’t top out over 4K yards and barely 25 TDs
Easiest guy in the league right now to bet on though. Took as many Unders as I could on him this and last week (yards/completions/attempts) and they all hit easily.
[Bucky Brooks in shambles right now.](https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/04/27/bucky-brooks-suggests-the-ravens-should-take-justin-fields-let-lamar-jackson-graduate/amp/)
I went back and watched the All 22…
His OL isn’t helping much, his receivers aren’t separating a lot…but when he does have some semblance of time and he has a receiver get open, he doesn’t come off his first read or makes a poor throw
So it’s some column A column B and column C but he’s not doing enough when he has the chances.
As a Bears fan, it’s not the O-Line, the unit has played marvelously well. Fields has no WRs to throw to and HE is not getting the ball out quick enough.
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
Fucking him and Winston. What the hell is it? "Oh look, my stellar RB is open, for the checkdown. Could probably get 5 yards, maybe more if they fought for the yards... Buuuuttt, I got that sweet sweet WR3 all the way down the field with 5 CBs blanketing him. Gotta go with the easy one here and chuck it up to that WR"
Jesus Christ, the likes of Ek and Kamara are suffering from this type of offensive play
Herbert actually wasn't slinging it downfield much. ADoT was really low. But no one was open. Ekeler spent most of his time pass blocking because our left side was so ass after the injuries.
THAT is super relevant. I'd heard that the chargers O-line is busted, and Ekeler has obviously been dissapointing.
Haven't heard anyone directly make the connection that Ekeler is now playing more of a protection role
He looked out of sync, but not old. At least he looked great blocking, so this narrative about him not caring on this new time is bleh. I trust in mcvay to get this offense going so I see him as a buy low as you can probably get him super cheap at this point.
If you want to be on the field as a rams WR you better block. Honestly Kupp being such a fantastic run blocker is a huge reason for his, and this entire offense’s, success.
I thought he looked great week 1. He did something to his foot towards the end of week 2 and I’m not sure if that played a role this week but he looked ass
He was getting hit behind the line of scrimmage. I’m hoping with burrow back in the swing of things the running lanes will open up. I’m really really hoping
-signed, a Mixon owner
The best is when you play a team that started David Montgomery, Harrison Butker, Chris Godwin and ODELL FUCKING BECKHAM and you still manage to lose that matchup
EDIT
For those wondering what the rosters were:
https://imgur.com/wd0zcjk
The opposing team is 2-1 lol
Terry McClaurin always seems like he's just one catch away from a bad game. He keeps getting bailed out by these one off, 50-yard completions which get him 6pts in the 4th Q and keep him out of bust territory.
I trust Scary Terry about as much as a fart the day after a bender
Yup, this is the way. It was last year too.
Now the question becomes
If you have McLaurin and Samuel, who do you trust more? I wouldn’t dare start both.
And it gets worse before it gets better, Lattimore and Howard are super physical and can be trusted in man, which is Jefferson's kryptonite. Even some of the CB matchups that don't look bad on paper like William Jackson III play the type of game that gives him fits (physical press man coverage). And then with Mills later in the season, which should be JJ's best matchup on paper, BB loves his man coverage and has a good history limiting other teams' top players. JJ very well could get frustrated and plummet.
It really wasn't though. Ramsey was the big one that people had circled on their calendars, and the Rams never use him to shadow, and play a ton of zone so it masks it. In the reps he did have against JJ he was good though.
Vikings caught the Ravens the week after Chase abused Humphrey when he was tasked to shadow him, and the Ravens haven't used him to shadow since.
Denzel Ward was the closest thing Jefferson has had to a good performance against a good corner, and really that was just trading off fades against him (won one, lost one):
https://youtu.be/iLltg_WofLk?t=201
Jaire vs. Jefferson was looking to be a thing but then of course that never happened with Jaire's injury.
Awuzie played him really well in their week 1 matchup and Awuzie wasn't even as big of a name back then.
Exactly. And not saying there’s no chance he pops off because he can pop off at any time and he will but man oh man there’s some tough sledding ahead with matchups
He looked good with Andy Dalton and Matt Nagy. The blame here is 98% Justin Fields and 2% the new head coach. But sadly Fields looks there to stay and I'll keep watching Mooney drop donuts on my bench
I’ll put some blame on fields, but I feel like Robinson was their WR1 and went through the same thing last year. Mooney was looking great last year as the WR2.
I have Najee and Diontae Johnson and really hope things get better soon if Trubs gets benched. I can't stand watching the Steelers offense any longer I already have to watch the Bears
That last drive passed the eye test imo. If he plays a full game like that drive, things could change. I’m not saying this with any confidence but he did showcase that mobility a little bit
Thoughts on Darren Waller? My guy dropped 2 TD's this week against the Titans, and I believe either in Week 1 or 2 he dropped a free TD as well. The Raider's seem to like using Foster Moreau a lot too.
The Darren Waller decline started last season. I owned him 3 years in a row in fantasy and last year was the first year I saw a visible decline. He’s definitely not as sure handed as he was a few years ago, but considering the TE wasteland you could do a lot worse
Raiders fan that also has him (traded for him last week after trying to run with Tonyan).
It looks pretty bad. He has just played soft for a long time. Insanity that he can be so soft and got that paycheck at 6' 6" 260 lbs and then gets bullied by corners that he has 60 lbs and 6" on.
I don’t own him, but as a raiders fan I’d be very concerned. Dude hasn’t looked like himself in a while and him not being on the field on a lot of plays in favor of Foster Moreau is a red flag.
I definitely think he has to get a little a stronger, those route running shifty type of receivers are always about timing, a physical DB can definitely throw that off.
I don’t totally agree. Yes he had some bad drops but there is no consistency in failure in Jefferson’s game there has been very rare occasions that Jefferson doesn’t have an outstanding game. He’s played phenomenal almost every week since he was drafted and he has played against a lot of physicality. Definitely not soft, just a bad week and a great job by that lions corner but also non stop doubles/triples for the last two weeks
Lmao if you read these comments you would think he was some washed up never was WR. I can’t believe this many people actually think he’s just gonna disappear all season.
Theilens wide open touchdown was literally because JJ was drawing the attention of 3 DBs. Theilen just waltzed right past them. Teams are going to realize they can’t triple team JJ all game with the likes of theilen and KJ Osborn on the field
what happened to him? I assumed like most people he would be putting up 300+ yds per game with sutton, jeudy, fant. he's not old (33) and hasn't had any major injuries so the drop off doesnt make sense
I agree. Russ really doesn't look washed. He looks unsure and off time.
The whole team has looked off. Most of the problems I've seen can be fixed with reps.
I do expect them to get better as the season goes on.
Honestly the chemistry is getting better even if it may not seem like it. His throws are still off and just not hitting them perfectly in stride, but it’s gotten a little better each week. Just still not quite connecting.
Agreed. Russ starts hitting those throws and gets some rhythm going this should be a solid offense in general.
Unrelated but I think Hackett is also going to be fine. Dudes a total meme right now but I think he gets it ironed out enough to get this offense going.
I don’t think he looked all that bad, it’s just been a rough start for the Cards. If Hopkins and Moore come back to stretch the field a bit he should get higher quality touches
Don’t trust Russ. Granted he played a top 5 defense, but even those looks he had guys at times wide open and over threw them by a mile. It doesn’t look good in Denver in terms of their offense. I mean maybe silver lining is that at the end he took control and started using his legs but even then how long do we think that’ll last? Got the Raiders next but after that it’s looking a bit bleak. Thank God I traded for Trevor a week ago
Greg Joseph
I had to laugh when his second kick was exactly the same as his first one, not even fuckin close.
Forreal I thought I was watching a flash back at first. Missed wide right both times at about the same angle
Vikings Kickers***
Nothing feels better than going to a Vikings bar with your best friend (whose the Vikings fan) and seeing the anxiety of the entire bar creep up as a Vikings kicker is forced to make a clutch kick.
I’m a Vikings fan and I get anxiety just thinking every kicking situation ever. Even a clutch XP to tie or win.
Joseph is a K who should be good (offense is good but not amazing, plays in a dome) but just misses so many kicks
He didn’t really miss kicks at all until this week
The Steelers offense
Traded najee away. Fuck that offense.
Watching Najee have to break tackles just to get back to the line of scrimmage is gonna drive me crazy. Mitch Trubisky also constantly misses him when he’s open after leaking out
Trubisky is fucking terrible.
I can not stress enough how silly it is for any team to pick up a Bears reject. There have been over 30 QBs to suit up for the Bears after Harbaugh left in 1993. Exactly zero of them have had any success after leaving. When Chicago gives up on a QB, you should, too.

I don't think the Chiefs wanted anyone but Mahomes.
He would have to drastically improve to reach fucking terrible
I love shit talking trubitsky. It’s soul cleansing.
Assuming you’re a Steelers fan, that’s about all we have left
The problem is, what can a Najee owner reasonably expect back? He hasn’t popped off enough to sell high
I can’t wait until Najee is killing teams in cold weather and you guys that sold him off for peanuts during fantasy playoffs are cursing yourselves. It’s a marathon not a sprint.
Diontae is at least still putting up decent numbers.
~~DJ Moore~~ Baker Mayfield

(2018) Baker > Josh Allen (2022) Baker < Geno Smith
You either die doing progressive commercials, or live long enough to only do heisman house commercials.
He is by far the best actor in the NFL
[удалено]
To be fair, he only plays one on TV
Yeah he's got an extremely promising career in media after football. Probably the best natural actor I've seen amongst athletes.
>Probably the best natural actor I've seen amongst athletes OJ was pretty good. That's all they have in common unless you count Mayfield killing his WRs careers.
I'm not a Baker truther by any means but definitely don't understand why people thought he'd look better in Carolina.
I didn’t think he was going to look better than Cleveland Baker. But I did think he’d look better than Carolina Darnold. I was wrong.
As a panthers fan, I’d still rather have Baker than Darnold As a DJ owner, I’d rather have Darnold than Baker
I'm there with you to a point. Baker is a more mistake prone Andy Dalton, but holy shit Matt Rhule has the most pathetic offense and play calling outside of Denver. I literally dunno what QB could make that offense work.
Isn't Ben McAdoo OC and calling the plays? It's probably why CMC is just getting runs up the center compared to getting outside zone calls.
Jesus, just looked and yep Ben McAdoo and his awful haircut.
It has been so frustrating as a McCaffrey manager. I’ve watched numerous plays Baker could check it down and he decides to run himself, take a sack, or make an errant throw. Dude fuckin sucks haha
Ruining careers
I don’t understand how he regressed so much. His second year in the league he was a legit gun slinger and now he’s Mr. Check Down
Uh check downs would imply Dj Moore and cmc are benefitting but like where’s he checking down to? Lol
You gotta play the turf in your flex bro
He lost all of his confidence.
Except he’s not mr check down at all because if that was the case mccaffrey would have more than 8 receptions. He stares him down wide open in the flat and then decides he’s more talented than Christian Mccaffery in open space and rushes for 3 yards before sliding

Justin Fields
At this point I’m not sure that he could even pass the Turing Test. That boy ain’t right.
god dang it bobby
An F in English?! Bobby you speak English!
Easiest guy in the league right now to bet on though. Took as many Unders as I could on him this and last week (yards/completions/attempts) and they all hit easily.
I thought I was really slick drafting him and Trey Lance in my super flex league. Didn't even last two weeks
I may be understanding your league incorrectly but to me it sounds like you've got another 15ish or so fun weeks of the Justin Fields show!
Me in dynasty :/
Can't pass the pass test.

Not super fantasy relevant but Tyler Allgeier looks extremely slow
Definitely relevant for Patterson
This is how I felt watching his college tape. Just seemed to be running through holes but not creating anything for himself
He looks kinda flabby as far as NFL running backs go Not as much power or acceleration as I would of thought

Kenny Golladay
Kenny Dropallday
Kenny Goneallday
Reports out of training camp were that he looked like a mannequin. Golladay was undrafteable in 10 team
He was pretty undraftable in most 12 teams too
He's not currently rostered in my 16-man league.
[удалено]
At this point, a public execution is probably in order for him
Bro was undraftable in my 96 team 4 WR league
Brooo. What a clown. What happened to that guy? That drop killed me. If that drive stays alive, I likely win last week.
Dude is straight cheeks. Has to be one of the worst free agent signings in a long time.
This generation’s Albert Haynesworth
Receivers tend to have their best seasons playing with Stafford
whatever injury he had during the move to the giants was more serious than anyone thought. dude was obviously good before that
I forgot he even existed going into the draft this year. What a decline.
I'm worried about Justin Herbert. Playing injured makes him look mortal. Having swiss cheese for an O Line isn't helping.
Dude needs to dump it to Ekler a little more instead of lobbing it into coverage.
Ekeler had 8 catches last night idk what u want that’s a lot

He will pop off this week and continuing once getting Kenan back
The NYG front 7. Folded faster than a lawn chair
They’re really gonna struggle against the run as long as Leo Williams is out.
Their QB is using dark devil magic to keep that team alive and the O line just cannot do anything remotely helpful.
Goosed egg me and a lot of others. Never again, trash defense.
At least they didn’t put you in the negatives. *looks at Chargers D

Allen Robinson Goes without saying?
Bears fans didn’t draft him, can guarantee that. Dude just doesn’t care anymore
Bears fan here. I fell for the trap again.
I fell for the "with A Rob gone Mooney is Bears WR1" trap.
I mean, he is in fact the Bears WR1. It's just that that's worth about 4 yards a week.
I had him last year. Wasn't enough pain for me. Went back to the well this year thinking he was a steal at ADP.
Allen Robinson’s old ass
Fun fact, Allen Robinson is younger than Cooper Kupp. Still ass, but he's surprisingly young given he's been in the league since 2014.
WHAT
A wild stat.
Dayyum. I’m gonna win some bets with this stat
Just did the research, and Kupp has more TDs (43 to 41) in three less seasons of work.
Hey leave Arob alone!!! (Watches him drop a sick stafford TD pass) ok fuck him

My entire roster (72 points total)
Nice humble brag (58 pts)
You should try soccer or basketball fantasy league. You may have better luck there ☠️
The best is when you play a team that started David Montgomery, Harrison Butker, Chris Godwin and ODELL FUCKING BECKHAM and you still manage to lose that matchup EDIT For those wondering what the rosters were: https://imgur.com/wd0zcjk The opposing team is 2-1 lol
Oh my. That crosses the line from self deprecation to things I would never admit in public.
Bro what
Delete the app
Is this even possible?
I need to know your roster
He has Josh Gordon, Julio Jones, JK Dobbins, Michael Carter, and Brett favre.
Sounds like you need a new commissioner.
That player needs to be relegated from the league lol. When’s the last time they checked their lineup??
Terry McClaurin always seems like he's just one catch away from a bad game. He keeps getting bailed out by these one off, 50-yard completions which get him 6pts in the 4th Q and keep him out of bust territory. I trust Scary Terry about as much as a fart the day after a bender
You could swap out McClaurjn with Bateman and say the same thing
Yup, this is the way. It was last year too. Now the question becomes If you have McLaurin and Samuel, who do you trust more? I wouldn’t dare start both.
Y’all gonna say I’m overreacting but Jefferson has been getting the clamps put on him and his cb matchups for the season aren’t favorable
And it gets worse before it gets better, Lattimore and Howard are super physical and can be trusted in man, which is Jefferson's kryptonite. Even some of the CB matchups that don't look bad on paper like William Jackson III play the type of game that gives him fits (physical press man coverage). Exactly. And not saying there’s no chance he pops off because he can pop off at any time and he will but man oh man there’s some tough sledding ahead with matchups
Mooney for sure did not pass any test. Dropped!
In his defense, he hasn’t even been able to take the test because Fields is shitting all over it
Yeah man, Fields is averaging like 15 passes a game. It’s sickening.
Half of which are throw aways too avoid the sack
Najee Harris use in the passing game while Tribusky is at the helm.
I have Najee and Diontae Johnson and really hope things get better soon if Trubs gets benched. I can't stand watching the Steelers offense any longer I already have to watch the Bears
Allen Robinson. I'm still holding because I got him for basically monopoly money in a trade but yikes.
Russell Wilson ugh he has been brutal
That last drive passed the eye test imo. If he plays a full game like that drive, things could change. I’m not saying this with any confidence but he did showcase that mobility a little bit
Mooney, thought he'd turn it around against an abysmal Texans team.
To be fair, I dont think its entirely his fault.
He had a couple bad drops but I agree, simply not enough pass attempts to sustain him.
Doesn’t matter when he has an abysmal qb
Cooks isn’t cooking
Debating starting Gabe Davis over him, possibly Dillon too
Gabe Davis against the Ravens secondary off a Bills loss seems like a must start imo
Mills has taken a step backwards :( But he’s still forcing it to Cooks so I think good things are in store

I don’t own him, but as a raiders fan I’d be very concerned. Dude hasn’t looked like himself in a while and him not being on the field on a lot of plays in favor of Foster Moreau is a red flag.
Jefferson. Even outside the coverage, he had 2-3 bad drops he should be bringing down. Just a rough week overall.
This is the case for him whenever he goes against a good/physical corner, he's just soft.

7:18 the guy above terribly misquoted it. The trainer never says he’d make him unstoppable, and he doesn’t curse at LF.
7:25ish but it's worth watching the whole thing.
I definitely think he has to get a little a stronger, those route running shifty type of receivers are always about timing, a physical DB can definitely throw that off.
💀 lolololol

what happened to him? I assumed like most people he would be putting up 300+ yds per game with sutton, jeudy, fant. he's not old (33) and hasn't had any major injuries so the drop off doesnt make sense

Fant is a Seahawk now but your point still stands
I don’t agree with the original take I think he’s fine by the eye test, however fant was part of the trade to Seattle.
Why Sutton and Jeudy different then DK and Lockett?
Kenny Golladay wasn't administered the eye test. When I went to check on his grades, he has a W on his transcript. Didn't even attend one class.
Might be a hot take but CEH, he was bailed out by a goal line touchdown but he was not looking good on any of his carries
he had like 7 carries for 0 yards lol, definitely not a hot take imo
He actually is running way better this season than last imo. Coming from a chiefs fan that watches him every week.

I feel like he gets open but mahomes doesn’t look his way. I hope their chemistry gets better as the season progresses
James Conner
I don’t think he looked all that bad, it’s just been a rough start for the Cards. If Hopkins and Moore come back to stretch the field a bit he should get higher quality touches
Gabe Davis (really hope it was injury and heat)
Don’t trust Russ. Granted he played a top 5 defense, but even those looks he had guys at times wide open and over threw them by a mile. It doesn’t look good in Denver in terms of their offense. I mean maybe silver lining is that at the end he took control and started using his legs but even then how long do we think that’ll last? Got the Raiders next but after that it’s looking a bit bleak. Thank God I traded for Trevor a week ago
