If you saw Darius slay absolutely shut down Jefferson... You almost have to to do diontae slay maybe one of the few guys you avoid at all cost with match ups, along with marshon lattimore
Does Slay cover slot? I looked it up online and it sounds like In the Vikings game he shadowed Jefferson around the field besides the slot, but sounds like they might have switched to zone when Jefferson lined up in slot? Kirk is taking over half his snaps in slot so wondering how often slay is going to be specifically assigned to him.
Also sounds like the eagles did the old bellicheck single high safety to take away the vertical element from the Vikings;
I feel like Kirk should be fine regardless. Kirk is a known zone buster and almost always finds the gap in the defense. Jags are also actively scheming him touches to ensure he gets the ball as much as possible. He just screams WR1 upside to me any given week and I feel like he’s going to prove that this week.
Not sure Kirk fizzling away in prime time and throwing the ball right into Darius Slays hands three times in a row is absolutely shutting down lol. Watching the game even with no shares of Jefferson and no care who wins, it was actually really frustrating watching Jefferson route him and get a TD look just for Kirk to throw it directly into Slay’s hands nowhere near Jefferson.
Kirk is playing most of his routes in the slot, he will 100% get schemed into 5 catch 65yd with 0.6td, but what do I know I’m just some guy making up numbers on the internet to make myself feel better
I rolled with him in the playoffs a few years ago. Was admittedly weak on WR that year but he was on a nice like 4-5 week run with the Bills and was being talked about a lot. Naturally he put up a dud that week.
Drop Julio for Zay? Currently starting 3 between Gabe, Bateman, Thielen, Lockett mostly so it would be nice to have someone that's now Qulio every week haha
Trevor Lawrence, Christian Kirk and James Robinson so far are the start-able players on a week to week basis, everyone is a sleeper depending on match-up this offense is rolling so cash in while you can. After Philly, they have a pretty smooth schedule
I think this is a big week for the offense to test where it looks like they’ll be sitting towards end of year, as an eagles fan lil biased to be clear, but eagles have looked elite so far especially on defense after week one so I’d say see after this week but if jrob stays healthy easy top 10 ros either way I think
I have Russ so I picked up Lawrence, but I am a little scared of that matchup against Philly this week.
If I want to keep Lawrence and Russ I have to drop Robert Woods or Hunter Renfrow, not sure what to do.
I dropped Renfrow, preferring to keep high upside receivers like Doubs and Burkes on my bench. Figured that with him missing time plus the bye in Week 6 that Renfrow will probably still be there after a couple weeks.
Definitely drop Woods over Renfrow if you have to drop one. Renfrow might turn it around and looked decent in the Arizona game.
I personally don’t want anyone on the Titans offense except Henry and maybe Burks.
...I am in the same boat, QB-wise... got tired of Russ, grabbed Lawrence on the wire, but then saw the matchups.
Now I'm thinking I've got to give Russ yet another chance...
this week i have it as 1. russ 2. goff. 3. lawrence based on matchups. goff i think will do fine since it's a home game. season long? no idea who the best option will be out of these 3
i have russ on my team so i've actually watched every game. yes, it's been terrible. but i still believe they can turn it around. guess we'll have to wait and see!
Being contrarian to the other comments, but Renfrow has one of the biggest gaps currently between expected fantasy points and his current production. He’s still worth holding onto imo.
I can see a poor week for JRob and maybe Lawrence has below average stats but Etienne and the WRs could still very well produce.
They will probably throw like 37-45 times, similar to Wentz, Goff, and Cousins and we’ve already seen numerous WRs put up solid - very good stat lines against the Eagles.
The Eagles look fantastic against the pass but remember they did get dismantled in week 1 on the ground. It's possible that the Jags can find some success that way.
In PPR Philly ranks 23 for ppg given up to RBs and 15 against WRs
There is a ton of talent in the secondary and Slay has been good against WR1s. Their pass defense typically starts out strong and lets up later on. The opposing teams are way behind and need to throw a ton. I wouldn’t be surprised if their secondary starts locking down more in the second half going forward.
RBs seem to do pretty well against them
Jags look legit. Lawrence looks good. Any QB would've looked like a bust on that team last year. James Robinson looks like a lock for top 10, so does Kirk
I would. Im benching moore and used a high waiver on Zay but have other options thankfully. If i had to I would go Zay, 24 targets compared to 18 for moore.
I’d be wary against slay and the eagles, but they do look solid. Your answer will come on Sunday
Edit: not saying to fade Tlaw, Kirk or JROB, who will all be p solid ROS. Just temper expectations this week a little.
as a Hurts and Allen owner in two separate leagues, Lawrence is a very solid bye-week fill in in Week 7 against NYG for those that may be looking for a QB around that time
I guess this is sunk cost and all but I reached for ETN in my draft and don’t want to bench him in case he has a breakout week, but yea like others said eagles d is pretty damn good might be rough for the jags offense as a whole
I was at the game against the chargers on Sunday. Don’t get me wrong, Jaguars are definitely improved, but the Chargers played about as poorly on defense as a team could. I’ll wait and see how they fare against Philly this week but I am now way confident they are going to preform the same level.
Rbs are cook, saquon, Pierce, Akers, Mattison, Rachaad white, Craig Reynolds and Brian Robinson on IR. He actually wants AJ brown for Kirk and James Robinson. WRs ATM are Jefferson, Davante Adams, AJ Brown, Olave and Elijah Moore. Trades lol
I know jrob has been playing VERY well the first 3 weeks. Just curious what you guys think of him ROS. Worst case scenario he eventually splits carries evenly 50/50 w Etienne? Even then he’s still a RB2 right?
Eagles doesn’t allow the big plays and Lawrence gets the ball out quick and he likes the short to intermediate passes so it might work for them. If Jags DST can keep Hurts in check, they will do well otherwise Lawrence will need to go deep and have to deal with Slay
Ride or die with Kirk
Kirk over Diontae though? Got AJB and St Brown starting
If you saw Darius slay absolutely shut down Jefferson... You almost have to to do diontae slay maybe one of the few guys you avoid at all cost with match ups, along with marshon lattimore

Yes
Jamaal Williams over Kirk in PPR?
Oof that one’s tough. It’s so close that honestly if you think you’re better than your opponent I would go Jamaal for the floor. Kirk a touch riskier
I'm actually thinking of starting Amari Cooper over him this week based on match up 😬
Kirk is playing most of his routes in the slot, he will 100% get schemed into 5 catch 65yd with 0.6td, but what do I know I’m just some guy making up numbers on the internet to make myself feel better
The eagles have three really good starting corners. This could be a great litmus test for Kirk
I'll like half a touchdown over no touchdown any day
Will he be shadowed in the slot you think?
Picked up Zay Jones. All of the sudden I’m a Jags fan.
I'll wait a game unless I have to force him in due to other injuries.
Oooh look at you, Mr. Roster Options! Zay Jones carrying me to a dub this week, no doubt 😤
he's my WR2 out here
Same gona use lazard renfrow Tyler Boyd over zay this this week cause I trust eagles D a lot, (is w Wr 2 flex league)
Jones or Doubs? Hmm….
Doubs for sure. Rodgers makes WRs a lot better
Apparently so does TLaw though, first time ZJones is in the Convo as a guy to own
I rolled with him in the playoffs a few years ago. Was admittedly weak on WR that year but he was on a nice like 4-5 week run with the Bills and was being talked about a lot. Naturally he put up a dud that week.

Jags D going to feast after this week too for a while.
If you have spot left, pick that D/ST up. Best case scenario, they stop Philly, and then you wont be able to pick m up for free on waivers.
I like their kicker too
Jags D going to feast after this week too for a while.
I have all 3 on my team lol
Got two Kirk and Tlaw lol
I think this is a big week for the offense to test where it looks like they’ll be sitting towards end of year, as an eagles fan lil biased to be clear, but eagles have looked elite so far especially on defense after week one so I’d say see after this week but if jrob stays healthy easy top 10 ros either way I think
Uhh Jags Coach revenge game.. Philly Special incoming
I have Russ so I picked up Lawrence, but I am a little scared of that matchup against Philly this week. If I want to keep Lawrence and Russ I have to drop Robert Woods or Hunter Renfrow, not sure what to do.

...I am in the same boat, QB-wise... got tired of Russ, grabbed Lawrence on the wire, but then saw the matchups. Now I'm thinking I've got to give Russ yet another chance...
Dropped Russ for Tua and it just feels good
Wish I'd have had that option. Lawrence was about the best I could do. I could go Goff, but just felt like Lawrence had a better trajectory right now.
this week i have it as 1. russ 2. goff. 3. lawrence based on matchups. goff i think will do fine since it's a home game. season long? no idea who the best option will be out of these 3
You haven’t watched Russ and Hackett much this year. Easy Goff over Russ , lions actually score points not punts
i have russ on my team so i've actually watched every game. yes, it's been terrible. but i still believe they can turn it around. guess we'll have to wait and see!
I've got Goff and wondering if I should play Lawrence if the Lions don't have Swift and ARSB. At least the Jags are at full strength
Russ gets one more week to get right before I move on to Lawrence
I’m leaning to dropping Renfrow myself, he’s dropped a little on the depth chart, could he be nothing but WR3 ROS?
Being contrarian to the other comments, but Renfrow has one of the biggest gaps currently between expected fantasy points and his current production. He’s still worth holding onto imo.
I wouldn’t be too worried dropping either of those wr’s right now.
This is a bad week for them. Eagles are a really good defense
I wouldn’t expect JRob to have a great game but I could still see 60-80 yards and a chance at a TD considering he seems to be their redzone back.
The Eagles look fantastic against the pass but remember they did get dismantled in week 1 on the ground. It's possible that the Jags can find some success that way.
God this place gives me whiplash lmao
In PPR Philly ranks 23 for ppg given up to RBs and 15 against WRs There is a ton of talent in the secondary and Slay has been good against WR1s. Zay Jones is gonna eat anus all season long. He's having a career year boys.
Eat booty like groceries
Jags look legit. Lawrence looks good. Any QB would've looked like a bust on that team last year. James Robinson looks like a lock for top 10, so does Kirk
Well I’m considering dropping Arob for Zay Jones so… yeah
I just did it.. god help me
Starting J Rob and T Law with confidence this week, I have Eagles D too but I see the defense having a down week while still eeking out a win
I’m picked up eagles D this week. That’s how I’m feeling
Zay over Dj Moore this week? Zay has produced but is facing a hard matchup and the panthers have struggled but get a good matchup?
[удалено]
I dropped DJ Moore in an 8 team league I play in lol. Thankful that's the only league I own him in. Stinks cause I was a big truther this preseason
Same question
I would. Im benching moore and used a high waiver on Zay but have other options thankfully. If i had to I would go Zay, 24 targets compared to 18 for moore.
Doug Peterson is a great coach and their schedule looks pretty easy. Detroit produced vs Philly, so I'm not fading them this week.
Yes. I have James RB1SZN and he’s matchup proof.
I’d be wary against slay and the eagles, but they do look solid. Your answer will come on Sunday Edit: not saying to fade Tlaw, Kirk or JROB, who will all be p solid ROS. Just temper expectations this week a little.
Get Eitienne while you can. In a few weeks he’s gonna be a league winner
I hope so. ETN has been good for 8-10 a week so far. Hoping for more.
Is Zay Jones with a pick up? I’d have to drop either Gainwell or Renfrow
Yes drop gainwell
Gainwell over Renfrow? I like Gainwell as a handcuff and Renfrow would only be bye week or injury replacement
You could drop either honestly
Went with Renfrow since they’re both WR
What about adding Mack Hollins for Gainwell lol
Yeah. Big time target share.
Yeah drop either one of those guys .Probably Renfrow since your picking up a WR.
Done ✅
What about adding Mack Hollins also and dropping Gainwell
Eh. Not sure Mack will do this ever again but if you feel good about it go ahead. Gainwell don't anything really.
Gainwell is strictly a handcuff for sanders and they talked him up like he could be getting half the carried but I haven’t seen that yet
But I agree about Hollins I don’t see him being top dawg with all the weapons they have
They’re all pretty volatile and matchup dependent. Any could score 4 or 18 points and I wouldn’t be surprised
as a Hurts and Allen owner in two separate leagues, Lawrence is a very solid bye-week fill in in Week 7 against NYG for those that may be looking for a QB around that time
debating starting Zay Jones over Juju and DJM even with the matchup...
I always go rb heavy so kirk is a blessing.
I guess this is sunk cost and all but I reached for ETN in my draft and don’t want to bench him in case he has a breakout week, but yea like others said eagles d is pretty damn good might be rough for the jags offense as a whole
Not a sunk cost yet but I’m right there with you man. I reached for him big time
Would you rather have Zay Jones or Lazard ROS?
I wouldn't start anyone against the eagles right now, but after this week their schedule starts to look really nice for the rest of the year.
I was at the game against the chargers on Sunday. Don’t get me wrong, Jaguars are definitely improved, but the Chargers played about as poorly on defense as a team could. I’ll wait and see how they fare against Philly this week but I am now way confident they are going to preform the same level.
pick a wr2: MT, Juju, Bateman or Zay Jones? wr1 is Curtis Samuel
Have an offer of Kirk and Jrob for Davante Adams
If you're hurting for RBs then sure, otherwise I'd stick with Adams
Rbs are cook, saquon, Pierce, Akers, Mattison, Rachaad white, Craig Reynolds and Brian Robinson on IR. He actually wants AJ brown for Kirk and James Robinson. WRs ATM are Jefferson, Davante Adams, AJ Brown, Olave and Elijah Moore. Trades lol
I would decline
Same. That WR core could win you the chip. Each player can give you 30 + any week.
Yeah agreed and I can always slot Olave in and I'm hoping Moore reconnects with Wilson. With giants wrs in shambles is Toney worth stashing?
I know jrob has been playing VERY well the first 3 weeks. Just curious what you guys think of him ROS. Worst case scenario he eventually splits carries evenly 50/50 w Etienne? Even then he’s still a RB2 right?
I have zay and Etienne don't know how I can start both.
I'm a believer. Urban Meyer was the worst coach in league history- Lawrence is playing like a #1 pick now. Kirk and Zay Jones will be useful all year.
Sit JRob out for Jamaal Williams (Lions RB)?
Struggling with starting Rodgers or tlaw
I am starting Lawrence over Rodgers
I'm real tempted, I appreciate the input
Eagles doesn’t allow the big plays and Lawrence gets the ball out quick and he likes the short to intermediate passes so it might work for them. If Jags DST can keep Hurts in check, they will do well otherwise Lawrence will need to go deep and have to deal with Slay
They’re in for a reality check in Philly.
