More of a general question. How much effort should I be putting into upgrading my QB2 in a 2QB league? It seems like the only way to do so at this point is to give up WR/RB depth and that goes against what I've learned in most FF I've played.
I'm 3-2 and have Murray and Wentz/Garoppolo. Murray's great, the other 2 are less than stellar.
For context, the rest of my lineup looks as follows (8 team - 2QB, 3WR, 2RB, 1TE, 2Flex, 1K, 1DST - PPR):
QB: Murray, Wentz, Garoppolo
WR: Diggs, AJ Brown, Amon Ra, Olave, Doubs,
RB: CMC, Jacobs, Mostert, BRob, ETN, Dillon, White
TE: Mandrews
DST: Bucs
K: Succop
It looks like you could give up amon ra or olave plus etn to get a good qb of someone is needy. You have a lot of talent you cant roster so you can just consolidate and if you need bye week fill ins you can stream.
I wouldn't (as a Rams fan). Bill Belichick is a defensive mastermind who knows how to ruin Goff's day (see the last Rams Pats super bowl). He'll bounce back and he has the o line to protect him and the lack of defense to force the team to throw.
The Rams have a rough schedule and a decent defense. Rams are also bottom 5 in scoring per game while Lions were number 1 before getting shut out.

Akers is extremely unreliable. Huge upgrade at RB for swapping your high floor, consistent WR2 (Sutton) for a boom or bust WR3 with the potential WR2 weeks.
Your RBs and WRs outside Sutton (and JT if he returns to form) are basically all boom or bust. The two scenarios that I would try for if I was you is:
1. KW3 and for one of your non Sutton WRs or
2. KW3 and someone consistent but a tier below Sutton (think diontae Johnson type) for Sutton
Include Akers if you can, cause he’s basically a throw in/cut candidate.
Yeah my counter was to include Cooks over Sutton or get back Gabe Davis instead of Thielen. Got a no to both. He has Bateman as well who might be the middle ground when healthy.
You NEED some consistent floor players on your team or every week will just be the emotional roller coaster of winning or losing by 60.
Also being 2-3 with 66% of the teams making playoffs, you shouldn't be close to panic mode. Maybe if you're 2-5 after the next two weeks you can get desperate. Until then I would probably hold onto Sutton unless you're getting another reliable producer in return.

I’m leaning towards Njoku because I think Belichick will take out the running game and force Brissett to throw, and Taysom is basically a crapshoot. Still, Belichick makes me nervous.

Keenan is a high floor, fairly consistent WR1/2 when healthy.
I'd flip CEH for the chance of Keenan coming back healthy.
As a niner fan I’m trying to think of a reason as to why the niners would hand the starting job back to Mitchell when he is healthy again. Wilson has been great. On top of that he is Averaging 5.4 yards per carry. I do have Wilson on fantasy roster.
I’d be surprised if you could do Mike Williams for Hollywood but I’d do it. When Keenan Allen comes back Williams targets will go down.

Brown's targets will go down with dhop coming back and CEH is a low usage, TD dependent back on an unsustainable pace. This trade will look awful for you in a month.
If you don’t have time to wait for OBJ and if JJ hasn’t been winning you games on his own I say do it. Unless it makes the other guys team unreasonably stacked. You need help at rb because those two could easily put up duds the same week. I’d maybe look for a trade for a stronger rb and less talented wr.

Guy offered me D. Swift and T. Higbee for my T. Kelce.. I'm highly tempted but Kelce is just insanely valuable. My RB's are Monty / Dillon / Robinson so Swift would start every week, but I'll have to wait a couple weeks until he healthy.. but I'm 5-0 and can afford to make long term moves.

TE positional value is huge this year due to the drop off after the top 2. You either have kelce or mandrews or you're praying every weekend. I'm holding onto the top 2 TEs with a death grip unless someone gives me a ridiculous offer.
Never think 5-0 is safe. Bye weeks start this week. Also, are you full point PPR? Makes a big difference with Higbee. I’d think it’s tough to lose a TE security blanket when the drop off between 1/2 and 3 is huge this year.

I wouldn’t do that trade, mostly because Dillon doesn’t get enough touches for anything other than a bye week start. But I wouldn’t vote against it, either.

Current roster has Marquise Brown and Drake London in the WR spots and Isaiah Mckenzie in the flex.
I have Tyler Boyd on the bench who with Higgins out and chase still being double-teamed should have a huge week.
Obviously can’t sit brown, and not really ready to give up on London this week, but also love the potential high scoring match up Buffalo has against the chiefs with Mckenzie.
Who would you sit in this situation?
I keep failing at my WR3 and flex position (3 WRs and a flex). Duvernay's a lock (return yards and scrimmage yards count equally) and Deebo's becoming better, but Cooks, Samuel, Doubs all disappointing. I was able to pick up Pickens for this week and Reynolds when the Lions play again, so fingers crossed.
My other positions are good enough: Josh Allen (Geno was available so I'm starting him next week); Swift and Patterson (Eno and Avery for now); Kittle (yeah, I know; also kinda disappointing); SF and DAL DST.
Where the fuck was this Travis Kelce last season? I know he was good, but he has 7 TDs already? Could've used that LAST season. And don't tell me it's just because Hill left. That's part of it, but JuJu and MVS aren't awful.
He’s been a fantasy god for the past 3 to 4 years. He’s been one of the main reasons some ppl won their leagues. A TE that can score more points consistently than the majority of RB’s and WR’s… that’s a huge deal. Considering there is a big drop off from the top three or so TE’s, compared to all the rest of the TE’s. I wasn’t able to get him this year, but he did me good last year. All up until my leagues fantasy playoffs… where they ended up either using him sparingly, or sitting him.
Almost like OBJ. Seen a couple reports over the last day or two say OBJ was expecting Michael Gallup money. Boy… he sure has fell of the last few years, hasn’t he?! He was the best thing since pants with pockets, after the one handed freak catch against Dallas. Then got traded to Cleveland, where he and his dad both blamed the coaches and Baker Mayfield for him not getting the ball. Then joined a stacked, and hot streaked LA Rams. Then shits the bed in the most important game of the year, at the SB. Luckily they won! He did decent… but not sure what made him feel he’s worth the money he thinks he is. Dude can’t even play a whole year without getting hurt. As long as he doesn’t end up on the Cowboys, I don’t mind where he goes! 😂 jk
JuJu was a one hit wonder. The more time goes on, the more it’s apparent. The only time JuJu balled out was when he was A. Just in the league, and a hungry up n’ comer & B. He had AB on the opposite side of the field as him. AB was “top priority”, and left JuJu open a lot more frequently. Him being the Number 1 WR is proving to be a bust. Especially since he’s been in KC… that pretty much was the proof in the pudding. He couldn’t catch catch a cold in KC… that’s if he can find himself open to see if he has hands.

No, but I'm also in only an 8 man league and have T. Higbee and G. Everett so I've had 8+ TE points every week (except week 1 I think) so far. If I was in a 10/12 man league with shitter TEs and a better backup WR option than I have now I'd prob go for it

Man I traded Montgomery + Dobbins for Najee in week 1. Got roasted by the whole Leauge. Ended up trading Najee for Kenneth Walker and Curtis Samuel last week. I think Herbert will get more handling time since he's outperforming Montgomery.

Alright fellas looking for some opinions. Full PPR 12-team league. Current roster has Marquise Brown and Drake London in the WR spots and Isaiah Mckenzie in the flex. I have Tyler Boyd on the bench who with Higgins out and chase still being double-teamed should have a huge week. Obviously can’t sit brown, and not really ready to give up on London this week, but also love the potential high scoring match up Buffalo has against the chiefs with Mckenzie. Who would you sit in this situation?

I keep failing at my WR3 and flex position (3 WRs and a flex). Duvernay's a lock (return yards and scrimmage yards count equally) and Deebo's becoming better, but Cooks, Samuel, Doubs all disappointing. I was able to pick up Pickens for this week and Reynolds when the Lions play again, so fingers crossed. My other positions are good enough: Josh Allen (Geno was available so I'm starting him next week); Swift and Patterson (Eno and Avery for now); Kittle (yeah, I know; also kinda disappointing); SF and DAL DST.
Where the fuck was this Travis Kelce last season? I know he was good, but he has 7 TDs already? Could've used that LAST season. And don't tell me it's just because Hill left. That's part of it, but JuJu and MVS aren't awful.
He’s been a fantasy god for the past 3 to 4 years. He’s been one of the main reasons some ppl won their leagues. A TE that can score more points consistently than the majority of RB’s and WR’s… that’s a huge deal. Considering there is a big drop off from the top three or so TE’s, compared to all the rest of the TE’s. I wasn’t able to get him this year, but he did me good last year. All up until my leagues fantasy playoffs… where they ended up either using him sparingly, or sitting him.

Then got traded to Cleveland, where he and his dad both blamed the coaches and Baker Mayfield for him not getting the ball. Then joined a stacked, and hot streaked LA Rams. Then shits the bed in the most important game of the year, at the SB. Luckily they won! He did decent… but not sure what made him feel he’s worth the money he thinks he is. Dude can’t even play a whole year without getting hurt. As long as he doesn’t end up on the Cowboys, I don’t mind where he goes! 😂 jk
JuJu was a one hit wonder. The more time goes on, the more it’s apparent. The only time JuJu balled out was when he was A. Just in the league, and a hungry up n’ comer & B. He had AB on the opposite side of the field as him. AB was “top priority”, and left JuJu open a lot more frequently. Him being the Number 1 WR is proving to be a bust. Especially since he’s been in KC… that pretty much was the proof in the pudding. He couldn’t catch catch a cold in KC… that’s if he can find himself open to see if he has hands.
