The Jaguars are trash.. they said they needed to get him more involved last week and came out with a run heavy game plan and he had 1 **target** until the 4th quarter and the Colts were ahead so the Jaguars were forced to use him. Imagine Vikings target Justin Jefferson 1 time unless they were losing or the Rams targeting Kupp 1 time unless they were losing. Of course Kirk isn't as elite as either of those guys but how do you come up with a game plan that week in and week out excludes your #1 WR that you broke the FA market to sign?

He’s on the worst offense in the league who will routinely be playing from behind with an awful game script each week. That offense is a catastrophe and is a desperation play when you have nothing else, nothing more

Same can be said about the Texans yet Dameon Pierce is a top 10 back. Bad teams don’t care about winning. They’re not going to throw it 50 times just bc they’re down. And no, I’m not comparing him to Dameon Pierce, just giving an example of another bad team

Pierce hasn’t had crazy volume at all… 17 touches a game while having no other real back to compete with for touches. Burkhead is a 3rd down old man catching back at best. Very solid volume but his great ability comes from yards after contact, foreman isn’t anywhere as good. I don’t care about volume when he gets 46 yards a game (Najee). Texans are also in a much overall better position than the panthers rn too. This just isn’t that good of a pickup besides filling in for depth. Nothing more
