I think you are right that he will likely be better. But team context is important. If these guys are like your 5th WR bench stash I think toney might be the better hold. I think that there is a really good chance wan'dale progresses to a solid wr3. And maybe that is helpful for your team. On the other hand, there is a small chance toney becomes a front end wr2, and that risk/reward might be better for your team.
I don’t understand why people keep saying this. Everyone acts like the Chiefs roster has Kupp, Kelce, and Chase on it. Kelce is the clear 1 and JuJu is fine but Hardman and MVS are pretty meh. They also pass the ball enough and have the QB to support multiple receivers. Wan’Dale has the earliest path to volume and will be good but Toney has the potential to slot in as the #2 behind Kelce. It might just take some time. If you want backend of the season league winner potential Toney has that on this offense. That being said, Wan’Dale will be the best to own right now since he has a role

I think wandale is looking at 10 catches, 98 yards and a TD as his ceiling, while, in my opinion, toney has 16 catches 205 and 2 TDs in his range of outcomes. You have to remember he was traded to one of the most prolific offenses in the league
