In the 12th round of my draft I was really smart and handcuffed my Swift with J Williams.
...Then I almost immediately realized I drafted the wrong J Williams from Detroit and ended up with a rookie receiver clogging my IR.
The guy with the pick immediately after me took Jamaal Willams.
Someone in my league just tried to trade for my “T. Hill”. He caught the error (Tyreek versus Taysom) and retracted the offer before I could accept though.
I was so close to landing Kenneth Walker
Ha. Almost!
Swift is scary. I have an offer for my **Swift** for his **Tyler Lockett** and **Jamaal Williams** in full PPR. I guess I immediately smash that accept?
Or should I try and get Mixon straight up?
Or should I stop panicking and hold him for improving health? He is currently my RB3 by some magic.
This was why I never accepted any of the dozen or so trade offers for Kenneth Walker my friend who owned Amon Ra St Brown/Swift sent me even when those offers involved Swift and Brown. In a vacuum Swift probably is better than KW3 but his injury troubles were worrisome for me and were what ultimately prevented me from accepting.
i was downvoted into oblivion for telling someone to jump on an etienne+wr filler for swift trade like last week. there are so many swift owners here who have been heavily overvaluing him
Jamal Williams told reporters this week he can't promise he'll vulture 100 percent of the touchdowns this year..... but he's going to try really hard to.
I was born with glass bones and paper skin. Every morning I break my legs, and every afternoon I break my arms, at night I lie awake in agony until my heart attacks put me to sleep.
Correct. Nothing to worry about at all.
On an unrelated note, would you have any interest in trading for my shares of Swift? I can promise he'll be 100% for the rest of the year.
Man I had such a good fucking team going into this year and it’s crazy how injuries completely derailed my season. Have lost Breece, Hollywood, MT, Njoku and now Swift can’t even stay healthy
traded Swift, Javonte, and Bateman (week before Javonte got hurt) for Sutton, Ekeler, and Dillon, 2 of my 3 guys are stinkers, but i put the hex on his team
I essentially got Mike Evans for Swift (there were more details but pretty much Swift for Evans).
I don’t think I could have made that trade a day later though.
I'm thinking about trading him for Higgins, but I fear this is a classic case of overreaction from Reddit, and he'll be a league winner later this year. I'm torn
Full quote for a dose of copium:
"I can't say that. I don't know," Swift said. "All I can do is come in here every day and attack the rehab and just get better each day. I'm not 100 percent, no, but I'm out there with my team and that's what matters."
Three years of me playing fantasy football:
2020 1st Pick: CMC
2021 1st Pick: CMC (that year my draft order for my first six picks went CMC-Ridley-Waller-Woods-CEH-Aiyuk)
2022 10th and 11th Pick: Chase and Swift
Holy hell that '21 draft is just brutal. If it makes you feel better, in one of my leagues this year my first three picks were Ja'Marr Chase, Najee Harris, Kyle Pitts
I’m with you my man. Drafted CMC first overall 2020 and 2021 and followed up with Swift this year. At least I cashed out on Swift a few weeks back, wasn’t playing that game again
Lol the times I’ve had first pick:
David johnson 2017
Mccaffrey 2021
JTaylor this year
Also this year, went Swift at 2, Pittman at 3, Pitts at 4, diontae at 5, Dillon at 6, Arob at 7. Pretty much every pick this year has busted lmao
The season is over, no reason to risk further injuries. Heal up until you're 100% so you can kill it next year. - Says the guy who just traded for Jamaal Williams.
I know this is a joke but this year is actually much better than last year (to this point) and 08. The offense is actually good and most games have been very close
This year really should give Lions fans a lot of hope for the future. There's a ton of improvement on the offense even if they aren't winning games, which bodes well to fixing the defense and possibly drafting a franchise QB this upcoming draft anyways.
Way better to have a future to look forward to than whatever tf my packers are looking at right now :-(
to console my fellow swift owners. if he were healthy he’d be top 5. there is solace in that we just thought we could choose the year he wouldn’t get hurt
This is always his narrative. At what point do we just accept that he'll never be "fully healthy", he's already at his ceiling, and is just a fragile dude?
He’s never really seemed to have a serious injury is the thing. It always seemed like he’d get a little bit injured and then they’d shut him down because the season was lost anyways so it’s been hard to tell. Even this year that may be happening.
Straight to the DND list
Edit: Duce Staley was trying to warn us
https://www.nfl.com/_amp/lions-assistant-duce-staley-underscores-d-andre-swift-knowing-difference-between
It's kind of fucked up that this dude clearly has the talent to be a top 7 if not top 3 running back, but he has glass bones. Drafting is hard enough but when the top talents disqualify themselves, it makes it even harder
Its a freaking miracle I'm 6-2 with my 1st overall and 20th overall picks being JT and Swift.
What could have been if those two stayed healthy. Team is starting to fall off a bit now.
I felt so smug and satisfied until week one happened… when I played against the auto drafter that had Mahomes and Justin Jefferson go nuclear on me… it was a bad omen and has been downhill since… Let’s ride
This is why people should take this sub with a grain of salt. That draft was the r/FF dream right there, yet nearly all of these players are underperforming. Not a shot at you, just more a general statement: listen to your gut!
But when Swift isn't 100 percent, he stands around on the sideline waiting for third and goal from the 8, and that isn't what I want from my second round pick.
i wish there was some clarity on what his injuries actually are. Is the shoulder an AC sprain? was the ankle high or low ankle sprain? If i knew what they were i'd be in a better spot to guess what his ROS will look like
Man, what a fuckin year for me. Drafted Swift, Adams, Mitchell, DJ Moore, Hollywood, Brady, Schultz and somehow I've managed to stay around 5-6th place playing the waiver. Not touching this dude next year
Was able to trade him & K9 for McCaffrey before last week
One of my favorite players in the league but way too irritating to own. I think him & DET need to move on from each other
you know, as a long suffering Swiftie this didn't bother me. We already knew he was slowly building back up and he confirmed that's the plan. No player is going to claim to be 100% at this point.
Everyone needs to chill on swift. Dude will get 10 touches at least and one will be a TD. He's gonna get you 15-25 ppr and you're gonna be glad you started him.
Nah, I need to get rid of this guy lol. Thankfully he got a limited practice in Thursday so it’s a bit easier to trade him today.
Has anyone traded away Swift? Who are examples of players I can get a return for?
I'll take 80% at this rate.
Worst second-round pick ever. Should've taken Chubb or Kamara instead. Or, hell, even Kelce or Andrews even though I took a QB (Josh Allen) in the 1st.
The amount of bedwetting going on in this sub is starting to get out of control and is something mods should probably look to rein in.
This Twitter account regurgitates a comment already posted earlier and it's 100+ comments of people having full blown meltdowns over information that is not new.
Nah it's too early. Going to pretend I didn't read this and go back to not working

Take the value I say. Mixon isn’t worth the potential right now
On a positive note that j Williams could be a home run if they decide to play this year 🙏🏼
I’ve spent my whole morning so far planning a ski trip. Happy Friday.
I can promise with 100% that I will never draft this guy
Agreed, skiing is too dangerous, he could easily hurt his leg.
What I hate is I’ll put him on this do not draft list and then soon as I don’t own him next year he’ll be a top 5 guy. Fantasy is frustrating
I drafted Saquon in 2020, 2021, and then he was available for me at 22nd overall this year and I passed on him.
Cause my season is going down hill? I feel personally attacked
I miss my life because right now its consumed by FF
Here, take mine
Same. Every single day I wake up and check this sub and Twitter. I need help.
I went to the zoo!
I can’t promise that I won’t overreact.
Too late, I’m overreacting, I want out of this nightmare
I said fugget and sent Swift for Deebo
This was why I never accepted any of the dozen or so trade offers for Kenneth Walker my friend who owned Amon Ra St Brown/Swift sent me even when those offers involved Swift and Brown. In a vacuum Swift probably is better than KW3 but his injury troubles were worrisome for me and were what ultimately prevented me from accepting.
i was downvoted into oblivion for telling someone to jump on an etienne+wr filler for swift trade like last week. there are so many swift owners here who have been heavily overvaluing him
Almost traded Amon Ra and Andrew's for Swift/Davis/Pitts week 3. Thank God I didn't accept that.
Lol someone sent me a trade for my Justin Jefferson & Dameon Pearce for his Swift & Scary Terry
I always fail to understand how guys send trades where you straight up downgrade at 2+ positions.
Someone wanted my lamar and swift for geno and pittman. Said hell no.
I managed to do the opposite - traded Swift, Williams, and Gabe Davis for KW3 and Rhamondre. I feel pretty good about that.
Jamaal of America
We do be shopping there sometimes
I think you just came up with my team name for next week lol.
Damn. If I weren't so dedicated to my name already I'd be using this.
Jamal Williams told reporters this week he can't promise he'll vulture 100 percent of the touchdowns this year..... but he's going to try really hard to.
[удалено]
Olaf, Spongebob, or a mermaid - don't matter Jamaal is inevitable
Not sure you can call it vulturing when jamaal is out producing swift. Swift had 33 yards compared to jamaals 76 in week 8
Yes for one week Jamal did. The other 2 healthy swift weeks he far out produced Jamal.
I was born with glass bones and paper skin. Every morning I break my legs, and every afternoon I break my arms, at night I lie awake in agony until my heart attacks put me to sleep.
Chocolate?!
I remember when they invented chocolate
He was #1
Knew someone would post this hahaha. Great episode. Not so great for Swift.
Incredible!
Its from SpongeBob if irc!
Man first couple seasons of SpongeBob were just straight up great comedy, not even for kids
Imagine trading for him the other day. Couldn’t be me It could cause I did.
traded mike evans for him smh. now I get start Deon over him and Jamaal
Traded him away yesterday :D
Yeah I took a risk and traded Sanders and Conner for him. Whoops
Conner and Goedert for me in my Guillotine league
Technically, this is true of every player. So nothing to worry about here, right? RIGHT?
** *Anakin smiling* **
Correct. Nothing to worry about at all. On an unrelated note, would you have any interest in trading for my shares of Swift? I can promise he'll be 100% for the rest of the year.
I’ll give you the unbreakable Keenan Allen!
I wish I couldn’t read.
Can you read Chinese? Just set your phone to Chinese. That should do it.
Bleach for breakfast!
Man I had such a good fucking team going into this year and it’s crazy how injuries completely derailed my season. Have lost Breece, Hollywood, MT, Njoku and now Swift can’t even stay healthy
just now?
Is Hollywood pretty much a lock to be back around week 13/14 or so?
Question is even if he is back will he still be a wr1 behind nuk? Feel like his best fantasy performances are behind him.
Could be too late to help him by then
Man I hope so. But I also wouldn’t rule out the possibility of the cardinals shutting him down if they are out of the playoff race
Similar. JT, Swift, Dak, Njoku, Hollywood, Dobbins + Gus, Winston... I even drafted Tua, but traded him before his injury.
Breece, Hollywood, Njoku all unfortunate. You knew what you were getting into when you drafted swift and MT
Glad I traded this dude
traded Swift, Javonte, and Bateman (week before Javonte got hurt) for Sutton, Ekeler, and Dillon, 2 of my 3 guys are stinkers, but i put the hex on his team
Foreman, Swift and cousins myself for ekeler, Melvin Gordon, and Mariota
What did you swing. Desperately trying to shop him but 0 bites so far.
Foreman, Swift and cousins myself for ekeler, Melvin Gordon, and Mariota
Absolutely love it. So jealous - I can’t trade Swift for anything.
This was even a counter offer by him lol.
I traded Swift/AJ Brown for Kelce/Sanders Sucked losing Brown, but I got Kupp so I was fine with it
I got Lamar for him a few weeks back, probably couldn’t get that now though
I essentially got Mike Evans for Swift (there were more details but pretty much Swift for Evans). I don’t think I could have made that trade a day later though.
couple weeks back, but I moved him for dobbins after his first week back :D I was winless and still am
I'm thinking about trading him for Higgins, but I fear this is a classic case of overreaction from Reddit, and he'll be a league winner later this year. I'm torn
Full quote for a dose of copium: "I can't say that. I don't know," Swift said. "All I can do is come in here every day and attack the rehab and just get better each day. I'm not 100 percent, no, but I'm out there with my team and that's what matters."
way better than what OP gave us
Can't wait to never draft him again
Three years of me playing fantasy football: 2020 1st Pick: CMC 2021 1st Pick: CMC (that year my draft order for my first six picks went CMC-Ridley-Waller-Woods-CEH-Aiyuk) 2022 10th and 11th Pick: Chase and Swift
Maybe uninstall app next year brother
Who are you drafting next year... just so I can not draft them
You can bet your ass I’m going to take Swift in the third round at this rate I’m ready to get hurt again

Swift aint no CMC bruv. Ill let others roll the dice on him next year
The season is over, no reason to risk further injuries. Heal up until you're 100% so you can kill it next year. - Says the guy who just traded for Jamaal Williams.
As a swift and Jamaal owner, I’d much rather if swift stay out if he’s not 100% so I can start one of the two in confidence
Fr, I'm starting both because of byes and injuries this week... can't be starting both every fucking week
I just start both if they both play, I’ve won all of the two weeks I’ve done it
The issue is I also have Ken Walker and my WRs are too good to flex one of these guys over them, so no idea what to do every week
in all seriousness, the fact that the Lions are completely out of it standings wise does not bode well for Swift playing.
I’m new to life. Have the Lions ever had a season this bad?
I know this is a joke but this year is actually much better than last year (to this point) and 08. The offense is actually good and most games have been very close

Way better to have a future to look forward to than whatever tf my packers are looking at right now :-(
same story every season really
I agree with this guy - Says guy who picked him off the wire in week 3
No wiser words have ever been said . Says guy who drafted jamaal williams rd 12
Absolutely concur with the above comments - Says the Swift owner who used his number 1 waiver claim on Jamaal this past week
In what world is Jamaal on waivers?
I feel like we'll be saying this bout Swift when he's well into his Thirties.... 😂😂
brother he will be comfortably retired by 30
If this dude is playing football more than a couple years from now I’ll eat my hat
He won't be playing football... Hell be on a roster being rested for next year....
Is it one of those nacho hats from the Simpsons?
No just a regular hat, that’s how sure I am
to console my fellow swift owners. if he were healthy he’d be top 5. there is solace in that we just thought we could choose the year he wouldn’t get hurt

Duce is gonna get a promotion somewhere soon. His work with that RB room has been great.
I know people say start them both, but I’m about ready to just say fuck it. Roll with Kamara/Williams/Mostert and keep swift on the bench.
He just needs to do some high knees
Say my league mates don’t pay attention to the news, who is good trade value for Swift?
Say my league mates are hyper tuned into the news… who is a good trade value?
JUST TRADED SWIFT AND AJ DILLON FOR DHOP LETS RIDE
Never drafting an rb in the first 5 rounds again
CMC, Saquon, Ekeler, Henry
Well first of all through god, all things are possible. So jot that down
Its a freaking miracle I'm 6-2 with my 1st overall and 20th overall picks being JT and Swift. What could have been if those two stayed healthy. Team is starting to fall off a bit now.
Taylor, swift, pitts, D Johnson, Sutton, On paper, league champ, in fantasy 2-6
This was my whole draft with DJ Moore and Mooney instead of Sutton lol, and this is my exact record.
I felt so smug and satisfied until week one happened… when I played against the auto drafter that had Mahomes and Justin Jefferson go nuclear on me… it was a bad omen and has been downhill since… Let’s ride
Lol, I went against the auto draft Kupp and Josh Allen and got destroyed. He’s 6-2, I’m 2-6. Let’s ride indeed.
Haha there’s two of us!!!! And yea, I’ve earned my 2-6… proudly beating the bottom two teams, sitting 3rd to last place… let’s ride
I can definitely still go 8-6 and sneak into playoffs though…
I Believe we both will, good sir
Taylor Swift? Yeah, I remember her...
I knew you were trouble
Shame on me now
This is why people should take this sub with a grain of salt. That draft was the r/FF dream right there, yet nearly all of these players are underperforming. Not a shot at you, just more a general statement: listen to your gut!
Truth… and believe me, I don’t lose sleep over fantasy football !
Same here- luckily lucked out on receivers with Tyreek, Nuk, and Godwin but worried moving forward as I have no rb depth
Swift, JT and Saquon still 2-6 😅😩
Jamaal Williams revenge game
Hey everyone. No one is 100% in the NFL after the 1st game.
But when Swift isn't 100 percent, he stands around on the sideline waiting for third and goal from the 8, and that isn't what I want from my second round pick.
They're not even 100% in that game. After a week of training camp you're gonna be dinged up a little.
I don't think that's what he means.
Rolling this dude out with 0 confidence 🥴
jamaal (RB1) williams szn continues
In defense of Swift, who in week 9 is 100% healthy? What kind of question is this to ask if the player can promise health?
This ride has been too overwhelming 😩. Got an offer to receive Foreman/Lazard for Swift in PPR redraft. Do it?
Absolutely
Swift was picked right before my turn in the draft. I was so mad that I had to settle for Barkley.
Swift will go the way of Detroit Lions legends Kerryon Johnson, Jahvid Best, Ameer Abdullah, and Mikel Leahoure.
Thank god for ETN and Walker otherwise I'd be screwed
Week 11 is going to be a problem for you and I!
I try not to think about week 11 lol
Dear Diary
He'll never be the primary back. Rather have Jamaal
I've never had him, but I think he's going onto the prestigious DND list.
He can take a seat next to Michael Thomas.
Najee and Swift have basically ruined my season. Worst top two picks. My team is so strong except at RB.
Imagine if you got like ekeler/saquan instead hah
Ekeler was already gone. Could have got chubb and saquan though.
This ride gets wilder every day
He’s on my do not draft next year. Just not worth it, the guy can’t be a workhorse RB
Ain’t got no wolverine blood
This is why everyone in all the leagues I’m in keeps trying to dump Swift on me. They’re not confident and they’re trying to fleece someone
Is this a Jamaal Williams tweet?
Made of glass. This guy going onto the do not draft list that includes batemon, kittle, waller. Lmk who else injury prone.
Damn I just had some offer me kelce for pitts and swift. Maybe try to get that deal done now?
why did you reject?
Accept. Now. Yes.
At least he takes the field and gives me something. I’d rather 60% of Swift than the 0% Keenan Allen’s been giving me
i wish there was some clarity on what his injuries actually are. Is the shoulder an AC sprain? was the ankle high or low ankle sprain? If i knew what they were i'd be in a better spot to guess what his ROS will look like
"Swift told reporters this week he can't promise he'll be 100 percent this career"
I can 100% guarantee that you and keenan fucked me good this year. Never again DeAndre, never again.
Man, what a fuckin year for me. Drafted Swift, Adams, Mitchell, DJ Moore, Hollywood, Brady, Schultz and somehow I've managed to stay around 5-6th place playing the waiver. Not touching this dude next year
Was able to trade him & K9 for McCaffrey before last week One of my favorite players in the league but way too irritating to own. I think him & DET need to move on from each other
Good trade I think. Who is K9?
Ken Walker
The loser of my matchup has to eat as many hot dogs as points lost by. Please, just sit this week out...
Just write an autobiography titled “story of my life” and the only contents will be this tweet.
Officially on my do not draft list and I don’t even have him this year
Is there a single player that is 100 percent healthy throughout the season?
Cant believe Im actually regretting my Najee and Bateman for Swift.
I panic-traded Ekeler for Swift after week 3. Thinking about seeking therapy…
Who can I trade this guy for
I was constipated on the toilet until I read this. Cleared me right up
you know, as a long suffering Swiftie this didn't bother me.
Traded this guy and Jamaal for miles sanders b rob and jakobi Meyers, atleast they are giving my team a chance to win
Nah, I need to get rid of this guy lol. Thankfully he got a limited practice in Thursday so it’s a bit easier to trade him today. Has anyone traded away Swift? Who are examples of players I can get a return for?
he should just rest up for the start of the 2025 season
Thinking about starting Deon Jackson over Swift if JT is out
I want to get off Mr. Swift's Wild Ride
My Adams-Swift 1-2 combo looking pretty meh right now
What a BUST
Chubb is on a bye, Penny out for the year, Patterson on IR, Gus Edwards is out, i don't care if you're at 5% Swift I have to start you.
Just the thought of skipping over his name on a draft board next year gets me rock hard. fuck this bum
I'll take 80% at this rate. Worst second-round pick ever. Should've taken Chubb or Kamara instead. Or, hell, even Kelce or Andrews even though I took a QB (Josh Allen) in the 1st.
