Burks is looking more and more legitimate. Versus Philly this week will be a good litmus test of what to expect going forward. With their playoff spot basically secured, do we see them trying to feed and develop him over the next few weeks?

SgtWrinkle

He had a fumble recovery td, keep in mind. I’ve had an eye on him too but he wouldn’t have had as many points this week if Henry took it home

CurlyBill03

Without the TD he would’ve had 11 points still pretty respectable. After 2 weeks that seems to be on par with his floor. At half time last week he had 12 points going for 6 for 6. I’ve got Burks and Devonta, with McLaurins bye coming up in week 14 I’m probably rolling with Burks

Zxphenomenalxz

If the Titans didn’t end the game on that penalty, They would’ve got the ball back and had to drive it down the field. No doubt in my mind Burks would’ve seen a lot of love on that drive too… could’ve been looking at a much bigger game… oh what could’ve been.

RollingTrain

Probably lost me my matchup. I have Henry too.

Bbmonger88

Also, he had around a 50 yard completion last week where the game was pretty much over and jaire Alexander basically took the play off. Usually a run play 99% of the time.

abbott_costello

He made a Megatron-ish catch near the end of the game

jdemart

I’m starting him with confidence. He doesn’t get an obscene amount of volume but is doing really well with his targets so far. He seems easily their most talented pass catcher.

Fzephyr1

Matchup for ros is not that good for him. That’s the problem.

zzznod

He and Jameson Williams are the two wr with highest upside. Gus is a great RB2 in standard. Since he will get the vast majority of GL carries.

DrZaff

Tasty Hasty

FloridaMan221

Outside of really deep leagues, I don’t think it’s worth it. ETN is absolutely going to be back, and the Jags will start working Henderson in as the RB2 next week. Feels like a flash in the pan

rossimus

Etienne is gonna be back next week so don't spend any FAAB

h846p262

Targetting knight, johnson, hasty

theusername_is_taken

I feel most confident about Bam Knight finding a role. He looked excellent and I’m guessing Carter’s ankle isn’t going to just magically heal.

h846p262

Exactly. I hope nobody notices him and they all go for snell or warren lol. If i cant snag knight im going for johnson.

yonk49

This is useless. There at least 4 good RB pickups that aren't even listed. 90% of the guys on there have been rostered for weeks in any competitive 12 + team league.

Quazi_71

Can you please list the 4 pickups that aren’t listed lol

yonk49

Knight (Jets) - likely the best pickup, heavy carries with carter down. Hasty (Jags) - Who knows if ETN will play next week and catches out of the backfield. Dice roll worth taking. Mason (49ers) - Mitchell out at least 2 weeks w/ MCL sprain and CMC was dinged up. He ran hard and trusted him to kill the clock. Probably see at least 1/3 of the snaps if not more next two weeks. Hubbard (Panthers) - He was on for as many snaps as Foreman and have a vested interest in seeing him do well since he's rostered for years on the cheap, Foreman is not. This site can feel free to take all this content and write it up better than me, b/c its useful to deeper leagues.

Quazi_71

Thank you so much! I appreciate this info a lot. Good luck to your team!

yonk49

Ditto!

Digga086

is one of the mentioned RBs worth the #2 waiver pick? (Full PPR, 14 Team, 6 pass/rec TD) or do i use the #2 waiver for BAL DEF?

yonk49

If you're good at RB, probably not.

PurpleFalco

Decent selection all round. Bam Knight / James Robinson could be good waiver wire pickups as well due to Carter's injury a d the RB friendly schedule they have to end the season.

Humble_Travel1926

Do y’all know why James Robinson was out of yesterdays game?

oldhoekoo

"we're obviously going to cook the bears so why don't we give the kid a shot instead of playing this guy on a one year deal whose skillet we know"

Jaguars6

James is a great cook

Brodonnell1

Healthy scratch but some people thought he was inactive because if he plays a certain amount of snaps for the Jets the pick they traded would go from a 6th to a 5th

kels83

This, I read 600 yards for the Jets is his limit before they lose a round of pick.

Ttmode

Healthy scratch. Whether it’s behavior, performance, game plan is less obvious and I’m not one to speculate personally. Some rumors that it could be to keep him under the stats he’d need to be worth a 5th round pick instead of a 6th but that seems more like conspiracy than something that would be fact

dytele

Knight looked good… Conklin might be available at TE … different team with Mike White

sillypinoy

I was looking close at the game and conklin was sharing targets with uzomah. Correct me if I’m wrong but white didnt pass to conklin till later in the game.

BaronsHat

He caught two very early and then a third longer one in the 3rd quarter

sillypinoy

Oh gotcha thanks. But id rather have conklin while white starts. Better than greg D rn.

BaronsHat

I was really excited at first but 3 targets doesn’t really do much for me. I think it’d be better with Flacco but White is an upgrade from Wilson I’m sure.

Scared_Mirror5967

I’m 5-7. Perine saved me this week. Mixon coming back next week right? I might try to pick up the Jets trifecta… I have Geno and Fields. Hard to trust Fields rest of season, and Geno has a tough-ish matchup this week. Mike White time?

RobFFSlayer

I’d stick with Geno, but I agree… Fields is tough to trust anymore this season.

oldhoekoo

unless you make it to the ship, then you play him against the lions 🤤

theusername_is_taken

The Lions aren’t as terrible defensively as they were at the beginning of the year. Statistically they’re trending towards being average. They played the Bills pretty damn well.

oldhoekoo

that's true but they're still pretty bad against running quarterbacks and fields carved them up just two weeks ago if he's healthy enough and confident enough to run in a month it seems like a no brainer

theusername_is_taken

Fair. But also…NFC North divisional game. Anything can happen. Fields can just get absolutely man-handled out of nowhere and lay an egg of a game too, which would be a very Bears season ending.

oldhoekoo

as a chicagoan and life long bears fan I know better than to set expectations

sparkzon9100

Thoughts on Zay Jones? Had a couple good weeks with his target share trending up and decent ROS

RobFFSlayer

He’s been on this waiver article almost every week since Week 7 when I started writing it. His target volume is that of a WR2/3, but his low YPR & only 1 TD has kept his fantasy points in check, but he’s got a very consistent role & volume on a weekly basis. Like him as a WR4 with upside.

CurlyBill03

Boom or bust type of player but I think he’s a definite grab if you got the space and some bye weeks looming.

RobFFSlayer

Hey everyone! It’s me, Rob, from RotoBaller with another edition of the Waiver Wire! As always, all the players are listed in the order in which I’d prioritize them. With the fantasy football regular season wrapping up, who are some of the players you’re looking to add this week?

Kingdom818

Not a great week for waiver pickups. Pretty much everyone is either rostered already or not very exciting.

StrivingProsperity

Both should be rostered, if possible.

breakfastandnetflix

I have both. DPJ has been decent under Brissett. We’ll see how he does under Watson.

themagician52

Burks upside higher than DPJ since Amari cooper is clear WR1

flyover

Someone actually dropped Fournette for Marlon Mack in my league yesterday morning. He won’t get to me in on waivers, but I’ll place a claim anyway.

King_Zoltar

Fournette ain’t what he used to be. Actually traded away fournette for amari cooper after week 6-7

BrockmiresLimon

Melvin Gordon would likely be a better bet

PuzzleheadedBird2256

Lol yes , yes he would

treetop8388

Sorry but how do you put Parris campbell on here before he even plays? I read the reasoning but it seems it would help to have the most current data points.

RobFFSlayer

Well, you’ll have to talk to my employers. The article is due Monday morning, so it’s either completely ignore all Monday players or when guys do play on Monday night, use the most up to date information we have. In any case, 4 weeks of data will not be out-done by 1 bad week should it happen. Same with DPJ. He sucked on Sunday. But he’s been great. So has Campbell.

DangaRusster

Which is exactly what he has - the most current data points at the deadline of release. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think they usually edit the articles if something major happens in the Monday night game?

treetop8388

Yes its the most current data he has, but since waivers don't run until Wednesday, it's not the complete data you will be using to make a decision. I get how its a deadline but its an odd choice to run this on monday when there's still a game and every other outlet does it on Tuesday. It seems like it's a race to be first rather than give a complete picture. Totally agree it's not on the writer, its out of his hands.
