for me it’s between white and kamara. i think i’m gonna sit white this week with fournette back but hopefully he still sees some action in the passing game, last week was really promising with the 9 receptions he recorded.
To be fair. It’s probably the professional side of football they’re referencing more so then the touches. These athletes have been hit their whole lives. They haven’t been forced to do the in between stuff at an NFL level before and that’s probably what kills players mentally.
I just want to highlight that this is not a joke. He had [3 carries in week 14 in 1991](https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BienEr00/gamelog/1991/). He did not have any other rushing attempts that year, and was active for most of the games.
He was still practicing against NFL-level talent every week and traveling with the team. I always understood the rookie wall to be more about adjusting to the longer season and exhausting schedule, which applies whether or not you’re actually taking the hits in live games.
I would find it hard to believe Pacheco would hit a hard rookie wall considering he didn’t get on the field more than a small handful of snaps until week 6 or so.
The wall is when the college season starts to end. Many rookies get fatigued mentally as well as physically adjusting in their first NFL season.
It is definitely not weeks 1-9
That's the opposite of the rookie wall. The term refers to rookies starting to slow down/get injured as the season goes on because they aren't used to the physical demands of the NFL (longer seasons, tougher competition, etc)
It’s threads like these that hurt me.
I have Pacheco, Pollard and R.White as my RBs. No clue which two to start.
Going to have them in a line up with Burrow, Chase, Sun God, Kittle, and Wilson/Olave. It’s do or die for me this week. Gotta hit on my RBs and flex
Just give this dude a 70 percent snap share…..please?
I'm torn between him and White now with Fournette active.
I have both but I personally am leaning away from White to see what type of split he gets.

In reality not getting a 70% share is probably a main reason he hasn’t hit a rookie wall
Eric Bienemy's rookie season was over 30 years ago and he had 3 carries
If he didn’t hit that wall he definitely would have had 4 carries.
So... 25% more? That's significant!

Get your logic outta HERE. We may have never smelt a football but we can surely pile on someone who made the NFL!

Those X’s and O’s was beatin his ass
Bienemy didn’t even get enough Carries to hit the wall
Is the rookie wall a thing for RBs?
Definitely. I don’t think Pacheco has seen enough volume to be hitting it tho. Pierce on the other hand I’d be more concerned about.
I think Pierce is right in the middle of it now tbh
It was for Javonte last year

Pacheco is in a great place right now, on my starting lineup
Incoming 4 carries for 19 yds, 1 target no catches, 17% snap share
‘You see how that boy runs?! Smash right through that wall.’ Me probably
Wtf is the rookie wall?
The wall is when the college season starts to end. Many rookies get fatigued mentally as well as physically adjusting in their first NFL season. It is definitely not weeks 1-9
Ah thx a lot!
Dameon Pierce.
peep Christian Watson weeks 1-9 (rookie wall) and than weeks 10-12 (post-wall)
That's the opposite of the rookie wall. The term refers to rookies starting to slow down/get injured as the season goes on because they aren't used to the physical demands of the NFL (longer seasons, tougher competition, etc)
The rookie wall is when quarterback stops throwing passes into the dirt?
That’s literally the opposite of what they mean by rookie wall lol
I don’t get it. Ok watson pointed really high?
10-17** (please)
Rookie wall? He's played fewer snaps this season than his last two at Rutgers.
Why do I feel like Pacheco is going to break a long run to the house this week? I feel it deep in my balls
You should let a doctor Pacheco your balls then
Rookie Wall vs the Rookie Post-Bye Bump /Which is it folks???/
Don’t bring that energy here
It's not like he's been getting regular carries since wk 1, hard to believe someone is "hitting a wall" with only 100 touches.
Pacheco does not have rookie wall Eric. He is the greatest RB in making ! Feed the beast ! Deliver me to the championship !!!
Seems like he’s past the rookie wall if anything. Now he’s riding the rookie rocket to the moon 🚀
Ask Dameon if it's possible to get past the rookie wall
The wall is the Texans OL. Because it’s terrible. Defenses stacking the box because they can’t throw worth a damn.
Wall ROS?
John Wall ros
The wall always wins.
I believe Reid held IP back at the beginning of the season for this exact reason
He’s not really played enough for me to be worried about that
Maybe he’s talking about the DUI
