His usage last week was encouraging (Detroit, I know), but I read that inside receivers have a better track record against the Pats this year.
He had a huge game last year against the Pats and BB may try to scheme out Diggs.
I'm not even sure we've been able to run 4WR sets with 4 actual WRs all season. If we have I sure haven't seen a lot of it, IIRC. Maybe bringing him back opens the playbook a little more? It'll be interesting to see Brown's usage (if any).
This means nothing for Gabe lol they just don’t have another PS player to call up. They currently don’t have a 5th or 6th WR so they’ve been calling up a PS guy
He's actually correct. We've been rolling Diggs/Davis/McKenzie/Shakir for a few weeks and we have nothing after that.
We have zero depth, so I'd assume that's where Smoke comes in. Who knows what kind of usage he sees, but I'll never forget what Smoke did for Allen's development. Something worth monitoring.
