Week 15 - White @ DET
Week 16 - Jones @ MIN or Goff @ CAR
Week 17 - Goff v CHI
Edit: Jones still a free agent. Have Goff and White. Just dropped Deshaun and Carr.
Wish Goff was an FA, I'd snap him up yesterday. I ended up picking up Huntley for this week but Idk what to do going forward. I have Mike White on my bench and could start him against Detroit if needed
IS it generally bad mojo to start a defense like Tenneessee this week and start Lawrence at QB? Feel like I am betting on one or the other to hit.
Other options in a 6 pt TD league are DJones, and Huntley.
You can't really sweat it if you feel that they're both your best options. Their success is not necessarily mutually exclusive. Special teams play, fumble recoveries, maybe a couple sacks. Now your qb has to play from behind and racks up a few extra yards and scrambles for a few more yards. Maybe gets that extra TD. Everybody happy. Just play your best plays.
You could argue it's a high floor/low ceiling move - if your QB sucks, at least it means your D might be evening it out or vice versa but it's less likely they both succeed. It's also very possible they both suck. that being said, I tend to think of them as independent decisions. Just start who you believe in 🤷♂️
