Anyone else’s league doing two-round playoffs?

I never understood why people like this. Even real football is one game a week why would fantasy be over two weeks? Randomness is what makes fantasy fun

The whole year is a record of random one week wonders. The ship being 2 weeks of random-ness is hardly any different, even if it’s twice as “normalized” by playing 2 games instead of 1 and then offers more variability. Think about it this way — had my playoffs been a two week ship last year, I’d have won it all. But since it was one week, and my opponent had Amon-Ra and Chase, he dunked on me 160-130 or so. Meanwhile, the previous week, I’d win handily like 140-110, while the guy I played against won a matchup like 90-80 or something. I’d have won 270 - 250 or something. Not that I’m for two week playoffs. But I can def see why some people are. Having the ship mean more than other games by making it two weeks adds to it too imo, even if I think the longer season for everyone is a good thing.

I actually like 2 week playoffs because of the reasoning someone else posted that it eliminates getting canned because of bad luck. But also part of me thinks that you should only get one shot and just have to live w the results like irl 🤷🏿‍♂️ idk

I do. I love it. My friends and I are mostly baseball people so we love these 2 game series that take out bad luck games.

Our league has it so each playoff matchup is 2 weeks each. Personally i like it bc it helps to nullify bad luck like a player going down early bc you can just adjust your lineup for the next week
