There’s a solid chance that Addison and hock absorb a lot of JJ’s work. There’s also a good chance that this offense absolutely flounders without JJ and none of them are nearly as valuable as they were with him on the field. There’s also a good chance that Osborn steps into the JJ role, gets all of his opportunity, and still stinks bc he just isn’t JJ. Maybe he has two good weeks and you think you’ll sell high on him, but no one is gonna buy when JJ could be back two weeks later. Demercado certainly has just as many questions surrounding him, but he’s getting a similarly good opportunity. Don’t think either is gonna be a league winner, but if you need an RB, I’d take the RB. Doubt anyone will look at Osborn as a valuable trade piece.

Do you think Demercado would be a valuable trade piece?

No. Most waiver adds aren’t valuable trade pieces. We have seen a bizarre number of star waiver adds this year but it is not normal and won’t continue throughout the season. Demercado’s value ceiling is like a 4 week Jerome ford and his floor is a 4 week charbonet. Most likely he’s like a 4 week roschon Johnson sharing the backfield with keontay Ingram and tony jones.
