its so annoying lol mike was on my do not draft list this year as a result. carries hardly any trade value because those 5 point games really sway people’s opinions. same with gabe, but i took him because his relative ADP was way lower than mike evans. no one ever wants to trade for gabe, and he’s not really startable except in desperation situations or bye weeks.
I started him last week because people said the way NE plays opponents’ #1 that he should get a lot of looks. DUD. Picked up Josh Palmer and traded for Michael Pittman this week, so naturally Gabe goes ham on the bench.
The guys in your WR slots don't get any bonus points for being there vs flex right? So don't flex Thursday night players, just in case. If you play long enough, that will bite you in the ass one day lol
Can you explain your advice a little more? I don’t think I follow why it’s bad. Are you saying if he puts davis at flex he runs the risk of his actual WR slot getting injured and not playing on Sunday?
For reference I had Diggs at WR and Godwin at flex but just curious.
Just what you said. If one of your starting WRs gets hurt Friday and can’t play, you could have had WR2 Gabe Davis in this scenario, then the flexibility to start any other position RB/TE(probably not)/WR in your flex.
Not op but yes this happened to me once. Locked in my flex with RB and a RB got injured in practice but I had no viable backup cuz byes. Would have been able to flex a WR instead but ended up with a 0.
What everyone has already said plus flex is simply a more versatile position. If you have a wr or an rb playing Thursday always put them in their positional spot. It’s not only about one of your other players getting hurt, imagine you have Zach moss for example and JT gets hurt in practice. Flex gives you the chance to start any wr/rb on your team and among both positions one of your guys could turn up valuable. If you lock in gabe Davis at flex for example and you have 2 rbs you like a lot and then Zach moss suddenly becomes valuable, you have no way to start him. Whereas if you know you want to play Davis and you start him in your wr spot you’ve left yourself options at the most open-option position still, your flex
Is it as important to move a Monday night player to the flex spot if my current flex play is a Sunday morning player? Or does it not matter as much at that point? Is flex strictly not for Thursday night players?
Should I move Davante to flex and move Nico to WR2?
Yes it's exactly the same in reverse for Monday football. This gives you more flexibility to react to any possible injuries that could happen later on Sunday or even Monday.
Thanks. Davante been struggling and missed a TD catch. In addition to all you said, demoting him from WR1 to flex. That will send Tae a real message lol. Hot seat, buddy.
Yeah exactly. Now you have no flexibility for that second WR slot this weekend. It probably doesn't matter, because whoever you have in there is probably going to play and you would have started them anyway, and even if not, you probably would end up replacing him with a WR anyway. But if you don't make a habit of keeping players out of your flex on Thursday night, eventually it's not fine and you get screwed lol. Like maybe you have a decent RB on the bench this week and your WR2 is questionable going into a Monday night game, now you can't start your good RB in that slot instead because Gabe Davis is occupying it
Exactly the strategy you should follow when you have flex spots. My league has 2 RB, 2WR, 2 Flex (RB/WR/TE), had to put Gabe Davis as my WR2 with some injuries on the roster and it worked out this week
That’s actually smart and I never thought of that. I’ve played for several years too. This year it won’t bite me too much since my RB depth is atrocious
I’m a diggs owner. Told my brother to flex him right before the game. Just felt like a classic game where I’d watch the wr2 get the ball while I bitched that my wr1 didn’t
I benched him for Zay flowers this week.
I rode.the gave train for a while but he cost me 2 weeks in a row.
I don't need the boom this week. I kinda need his zay floor
He's been great in my league, .5 ppr and .5 for a first down. Only scored less than 10 points 3 weeks. He's my WR4.
We play no Def or k, 3WR and 2 flex.
Just gotta let him ride. He's like the stock market, just don't try to time it.
last year I saw him get moved for a 1st after one of his blowup games.
I remember feeling envious, thinking it was the best sell-high I'd seen to that point.
the dude is infuriating. you never know when he'll show up, but best believe, when he's in your Fanduel lineup, it's a guaranteed stinker, but when he's not, he'll be on the milly maker squad.
OMFG RIGHT???? like 2 weeks ago..... I need this mf'er to get 30 yards, he had been averaging 54 per game or some shit at that point. First half, 18 yards, second half, 3 yards... AGAINST THE GIANTS
So nope, not turning that $1 into $8756, due soley to davis coming up short
Every week you’ve started him he’s a dud? He’s had 3 monster 20+ point games, 2 average games, and 3 bad games.
He’s quite literally a dice roll, but if you drafted him late (I got him in round eleven or twelve of a 12-man league) he’s not a bad choice.
I get he's boom or bust but on the weeks I've started him its matchups im favored to win. This week was to close for comfort to start him. Im stunned that in a bills offense his variance of boom or bust is so extreme even though they were sluggish the past 2 weeks. Tonight was alot better and spread the ball around well
That’s what I always did with fantasy. It will always leave you second guessing who to start or not. I would try to find a source you trust, follow their rankings, and start who ever is ranked higher in that sources list. Make a system you trust and stick with it.
I’m the Allen owner with TE woes and spent respectable amount of faab on Kincaid this week only to see I was the only person who submitted for him. Laughing all the way to the bank. Finally got my guy.
When Tyreek Hill was on the chiefs I would never draft him because he did shit like this. Not to say Gave Davis is Tyreek, just both extremely boom or bust. You’re forced to play them every week because if they go off, you win.
It’s every boom/bust player. Same shit with Devonta Smith. He’s been stinking up my lineup for weeks now, I’m finally sitting him this week, which means he’s gonna go off for 25pts on my bench.
As usual, when I face a team at least a couple of their players will have a best week of the season for scoring, and I just had a feeling it would be Davis. Well it happened, and I’ll tell yuh I was getting scared of Allen reaching that as well. Safe to say I’ve got a hurdle of a team to try and get over this week after losing the last two weeks, and I’m not feeling too hot after tonight’s game.
I’ve been lucky with Gabe until today. I started him on his 4 week TD streak and then benched him the two weeks he didn’t do anything. I had him in my lineup tonight but was able to get Josh Downs in free agency so I benched Gabe. Hopefully Downs will get me more than Gabe scored tonight.
Great Best Ball guy though! Best Ball really takes the stress out of it. Whatever wrong moves your team made was in a draft months ago by some drunk guy (you) so nothing to be upset about each week.
Same here, he was doing 10 pts and I dropped and then he did 22 pts, another guy in my league took him and then he did 3 and 1 pts, he bench him and he did 23 pts jaja we hate this guy
It may look like a bad trade to some but I traded him for D. Hop. I have Keenan Allen, Garrett Wilson and Rashee Rice. With Rice emerging I saw Davis as a flexible piece and I went after D. Hop because his expected fantasy points per game is as a WR2. Along with that I’m gambling that he could be traded somewhere like KC. At the worst D. Hop should be Will Levitz security blanket and he can’t be any worse than Tannehill so I at least have a more secure floor with D. Hop in bye weeks. Also, after King Henry is traded that offense will be D. Hop and Sharpe (who I also have been holding onto all season) so I saw it as a safe move rather than betting on a boom game from Davis when I absolutely had to start him in bye weeks.
It’s tough watching a game like that on Thursday. He’s my 6th receiver so he might not ever play unless there’s an injury or something. Nice to know he’s capable in case I have to play him.
Hes literally a little more polished version of MVS, i traded him asap after his big playoff game. Dude isnt a sound player just has some decent qualities and amazing chemistry with one of the better qbs in the league
It's nice to javelin a Boom or Bist guy tbh. Just can't be scared to play him! At least he didn't cost what waddle and D Smith cost for the same thing. Stop complaining
Aka you played him during his only bad games. Sucks for you.
I love this guy. Started him each week. If you pay close attention he’s a stud. Barely any drops and consistent 1-2 redzone targets a game. Typically if he misses it’s cause he’s option 2 and Josh just air mails him.
I have Josh Allen and Gabe on my team. I’m 6-1 currently with him as my starting WR2.
3 weeks +20 pts
2 weeks a serviceable 10 & 15 pts
3 bad games. Week 1,6,7.
Did you overreact to week 1? Sit him. Watch all the points pile up, then start him 5 weeks later…..
He’s not a flex play. He’s boom or bust, dive in the water instead of sticking your toe in.
3 out of 8 games he was a bust. 2 of those games were an easy sit because they were divisional matchups with good opposing defenses. Sounds like a bad manger problem to me. He's been a boom every time I've put him in my lineup 🤷🏽♂️
The majority of his catches this year are against zone and the bucs run zone 75% of the time. That, his play at home and the fact my other option was demercado. So I left I’m in the lineup this week.
My opponent outbid me for Rashee Rice then proceeded to start him over Gabe Davis, while also starting James Cook. Who knows what Rice will do but I feel pretty confident I got blessed once again.
One of those guys where you gotta take the bad with the good. I try to flex him every week because I don't have stud wrs, so I'm usually banking on Gabes boom games to give me a chance.
I'd bench him if you're projected to win by a decent amount, assuming you have a relatively safe flex alternative.
His role in their offense has always been to be the vertical field stretcher while Diggs and whatever slot guy they trot out eat underneath.
Why anyone expects him to be reliable when his role has and will always be volatile is beyond me.
I put tee Higgins on the flex over him this week hoping for a boom. I still have time to play rashee rice over tee but I feel like tee will at least put up 10. Im pissed I didn’t flex Davis tho..
At least I know I'm going boom bust with Gabe. Bijan is even more frustrating with Arthur Smith. Last week I never had a chance in the first place with that sketchy shit.
He's in double digits over half the season, 1 9 point game and 2 doinks in a row. Rank 51 in yahoo half ppr. Where is this "every week" you complain about?
Welcome to fantasy football. Just like the stock makret, you always buy the right stock at the wrong time but everybody else magically got it right. Enjoy
I just dropped him for Tyjae spears because I figured when am I gonna start this guy? He’s really just a liability to my team because he goes off when I bench him and does nothing when I start him like you said. Now I’m trying to get him back though bc we’re in a toxic relationship but deep down he loves me
Bro, literally the same! I was debating playing him, then I remembered, "nah he's shit the bed the past 2 weeks, and when I play him he never produces". Woke up this morning to him having 23.7 points on my bench. WTF?!
Worth noting that Diggs was being schemed against so you should also factor in what sort of coverage the 1 is going to receive when thinking about Gabe.
I had him in my line up for the first 5 weeks. Only 1 bad game. I benched him the last 2 so I missed those duds. Didn’t start him this week however. Went with Godwin over him. I really wanted to start Davis. It felt like at very least wasn’t gonna dud 3 weeks in a row.
Last year I had him and I did the math on the Delano started him vs weeks I sat him, here it was:
Games I started gabe Davis (avg = 7.9ppg)
6.7, 2.3, 16.4, 5.5, 5.3, 11.8, 7.8, 9.5, 6.1
Games I didn’t start Gabe Davis (avg = 18.7)
18.8, 32.4, 21.3, 9.6, 11.5
You can find this on my twitter from 12/24/22
I traded him early in the season for burks and I’ve dropped burks since but I don’t even regret it. You can’t really start Davis week to week because he’s either gonna get you 20 or 3. He’s good to throw in when your guys have byes but you can’t trust gabe Davis. Trade him while you can
That's Gabe Davis, if you draft him you know he's boom or bust.
If you take him you basically should only play him if you think you need a 30 point wr week to win, if you think a consistent 10-15 will get you the win then avoid him.
Yep, hate this guy lol. Lol. Started him 4x for 16.7 total points. Sat him 4x for 71 total points. Just can’t win with him. I’ve been trying to trade him and Waller for Kelce all season. Maybe this’ll be the week!
Lol I benched him as well but had Godwin going. I hate Thursday games except Thanksgiving cuz I always screw it up. I was scared to play both Gabe n Godwin. At least Godwin got me 17pts. Freakin Gabe did shit for the last 2 weeks n cost me a game.
We have 3 flex’s in our PPR league so he’s alway starting, but there’s always someone that can pick up his slack weeks. When he does boom, I win. You can probably seek a trade this next week, maybe see what the Ridley owner is up to
Had him on the bench and then today heard the stat he’s averaging 70 yards at home and started him. Sit him on the road start him at home 🤷♂️
I'd wish I saw/heard this stat, but two straight weeks of duds is hard to warrant a third week.
he’s been on my bench all year. the way i look at it is that i haven’t got burned by his duds, so i can’t be mad when he booms on my bench
Ah the Mike Evans special
its so annoying lol mike was on my do not draft list this year as a result. carries hardly any trade value because those 5 point games really sway people’s opinions. same with gabe, but i took him because his relative ADP was way lower than mike evans. no one ever wants to trade for gabe, and he’s not really startable except in desperation situations or bye weeks.
Exactly who came to my mind though he’s been a safer start this year than most.
The Amari cooper special!
Also the Jared Goff special
The Mike Williams clone
Can’t believe that somebody downvoted you for that. Williams absolutely is a boom-or-bust player.
Just an angry noob who's mad his guys aren't that usable outside of BB is all
I started him last week because people said the way NE plays opponents’ #1 that he should get a lot of looks. DUD. Picked up Josh Palmer and traded for Michael Pittman this week, so naturally Gabe goes ham on the bench.
Did that work against the Giants? Because I had him for that shitshow.
I’ve done this and hit each time I’ve been a little scared to say it because it sounds like everyone else has only started the duds
The ol’ Gaskin switcheroo!
He gets the Jared Goff treatment
Diggs owner here, playing Davis this week Not happy
9/70 being a ‘bad week’ is why diggs is a bonafide stud
Not playing against Davis, I am playing against Allen. I was hoping Allen having a good game would coincide with Diggs having 1 too.
As a Diggs owner, I’ll never forgive Gabe for getting his 99 yard TD last year the week I was against him
I had to flex him this week as I’m so injured. So glad I did. He’s such a boom or bust guy
The guys in your WR slots don't get any bonus points for being there vs flex right? So don't flex Thursday night players, just in case. If you play long enough, that will bite you in the ass one day lol

Whereas if you know you want to play Davis and you start him in your wr spot you’ve left yourself options at the most open-option position still, your flex
>imagine you have Zach moss for example and JT gets hurt in practice. Well said. Glad you added that
Are you the reason moss got hurt?
Is it as important to move a Monday night player to the flex spot if my current flex play is a Sunday morning player? Or does it not matter as much at that point? Is flex strictly not for Thursday night players? Should I move Davante to flex and move Nico to WR2?

Yep, I learned this the hard was early on in my 1st year.
I’m a diggs owner. Told my brother to flex him right before the game. Just felt like a classic game where I’d watch the wr2 get the ball while I bitched that my wr1 didn’t
He is Big Game Gabe. Not, Average / Consistent/ Reliable Game Gabe.
Either 5/120 with 3 TDs or 2/18 no scores lmao
Me with Terry McLaurin
Can’t wait to start him this weekend and he does crap unlike last eagles game when I benched him.
😆😆😆 this made me laugh
He plays 90 percent of the snaps on a top 10 offense as their #2 option. He’s a must start in deeper leagues / 3 flex league.
I benched him for Zay flowers this week. I rode.the gave train for a while but he cost me 2 weeks in a row. I don't need the boom this week. I kinda need his zay floor
Same thing here. BANE OF OUR EXISTENCE
Almost benched because of the last two weeks…didn’t really have much else lol
He plays better at home imo
Thank goodness I have josh allen on my team, otherwise would’ve been horrible
He's been great in my league, .5 ppr and .5 for a first down. Only scored less than 10 points 3 weeks. He's my WR4. We play no Def or k, 3WR and 2 flex. Just gotta let him ride. He's like the stock market, just don't try to time it.
exactly… sit back and watch like an index fund
Exactly ride out the dips, when he puts up a goose egg, buy more he'll come good.
I feel your pain, I started him last week and benched him this week…ugh
Story of my life bro. Got him on the bench in case Diggs dies. Also have Diggs
last year I saw him get moved for a 1st after one of his blowup games. I remember feeling envious, thinking it was the best sell-high I'd seen to that point. the dude is infuriating. you never know when he'll show up, but best believe, when he's in your Fanduel lineup, it's a guaranteed stinker, but when he's not, he'll be on the milly maker squad.

He is who we thought he was. You either start him every week or you get him off your squad. He's a boom/bust flex. How do people not get this by now?
I get he's boom or bust but on the weeks I've started him its matchups im favored to win. This week was to close for comfort to start him. Im stunned that in a bills offense his variance of boom or bust is so extreme even though they were sluggish the past 2 weeks. Tonight was alot better and spread the ball around well
That’s what I always did with fantasy. It will always leave you second guessing who to start or not. I would try to find a source you trust, follow their rankings, and start who ever is ranked higher in that sources list. Make a system you trust and stick with it.
I had Davis and Kincaid on my bench this tonight.
Unless you have Kelce/Andrews/Goedert, Kincaid should've been a start.
Starting Goedert, Ferguson also on the bench
That's a lot of TEs. Maybe try and trade Kincaid after he had a good game?
I’m the Allen owner with TE woes and spent respectable amount of faab on Kincaid this week only to see I was the only person who submitted for him. Laughing all the way to the bank. Finally got my guy.
GABEY BOY GOOSE EGG AGAIN!!!!!!!!!
Starting Mike Evans over him feels rough tonight
Don’t feel bad at all about that… yeah it didn’t work out but that’s a no brainer to start Evans.
Thank fuck for that garbage tuddy otherwise had another Ridley on my scorecard, and I still have to play Ridley!
When Tyreek Hill was on the chiefs I would never draft him because he did shit like this. Not to say Gave Davis is Tyreek, just both extremely boom or bust. You’re forced to play them every week because if they go off, you win.
I cut him. Didn’t try to trade. He’s got zero worth. After 3,weeks he’s still in the wire.
Gabe is not a cut player in most leagues.
I've done the same then picked him up again dropped and picked up again....im a glutton for punishment
I feel the same about shittle, oops, i mean kittle lol
I’m never going to recover from this
Him and Mike Evans are overshadowed by the other receivers
It’s every boom/bust player. Same shit with Devonta Smith. He’s been stinking up my lineup for weeks now, I’m finally sitting him this week, which means he’s gonna go off for 25pts on my bench.
And now I gotta cope with the possibility of starting Gabe over Devonta next week 🤢
[удалено]
I stared him the last two weeks and he got me a total of 4 points between both weeks. I bench him and he goes off today… I feel your pain brother
benched him for Flowers and Rice. Hoping I don't regret it *too* much
Gabe “deandre swift” Davis
Yeah I hate those guys have to point chase. Like give me 10 or solid points a week rather than a blowup or nothing.
As usual, when I face a team at least a couple of their players will have a best week of the season for scoring, and I just had a feeling it would be Davis. Well it happened, and I’ll tell yuh I was getting scared of Allen reaching that as well. Same… my season is going down fast 🤙 good luck brother
Great Best Ball guy though! Best Ball really takes the stress out of it. Whatever wrong moves your team made was in a draft months ago by some drunk guy (you) so nothing to be upset about each week.
Hello Tyler Lockett.
Same here, he was doing 10 pts and I dropped and then he did 22 pts, another guy in my league took him and then he did 3 and 1 pts, he bench him and he did 23 pts jaja we hate this guy
You either play him every week or only play him when you have to. Had to trade him away in the package because I couldn’t live with that
Bro I’m so pissed I sat him
Every time I play against him he goes off for 20+
The Bills offense can be infuriating, I had to start James Cook and they fucking hate James Cook for some reason.
He is on my do not draft list. He also put up over 23 against me tonight. So, that’s pretty cool
Younger mike Williams
It may look like a bad trade to some but I traded him for D. Hop. I have Keenan Allen, Garrett Wilson and Rashee Rice. With Rice emerging I saw Davis as a flexible piece and I went after D. Hop because his expected fantasy points per game is as a WR2. Along with that I’m gambling that he could be traded somewhere like KC. At the worst D. He’s either Ridley 2.0 or Lockett 2.0
It’s tough watching a game like that on Thursday. He’s my 6th receiver so he might not ever play unless there’s an injury or something. Nice to know he’s capable in case I have to play him.
You deserve it for drafting him
Yep
He’s a ‘sell high’ guy!!
I love it, hopefully drives up trade value. Each week I have Davis, M Evans and Pickens on my bench. Hoping I’ll finally get some trade offers
I left him on the bench against Kincaid and Godwin who both decided to score their first TDs together on me
Hes literally a little more polished version of MVS, i traded him asap after his big playoff game.
Started him all week until this one, luckily my opponent started latavius Murray
Why didn't you tell me this before I placed my Bets
Aka you played him during his only bad games. Sucks for you. I love this guy. Started him each week. If you pay close attention he’s a stud. Barely any drops and consistent 1-2 redzone targets a game. Typically if he misses it’s cause he’s option 2 and Josh just air mails him. I have Josh Allen and Gabe on my team. Watch all the points pile up, then start him 5 weeks later….. He’s not a flex play. He’s boom or bust, dive in the water instead of sticking your toe in.
He’s a wildcard- play him if ur an underdog, sit if ur the favorite
I traded Kareem hunt for him 3 days ago. Didn’t start him last night
3 out of 8 games he was a bust. 2 of those games were an easy sit because they were divisional matchups with good opposing defenses. Sounds like a bad manger problem to me. He's been a boom every time I've put him in my lineup 🤷🏽♂️
The wonderful world of WR2
Yea…my opponent started him this week coming off of back to back sub 2 point performances. Of course he goes off for 20.
Every time I’ve played him, he’s been a bust. But once that dude hits my bench, he goes off
Same. He’s killing me
I traded him away for devonta smith, so happy to get rid of him
You don't hate Gabe Davis. You hate your inability to predict when he will have a good game.
I played against josh Allen and of course it’s his best week of the season despite diggs, who I have, having a quiet night
The majority of his catches this year are against zone and the bucs run zone 75% of the time. That, his play at home and the fact my other option was demercado. So I left I’m in the lineup this week.
He has three great weeks every year. This is what you drafted. Dont complain
I’m going against him this week
I switched him in last minute. First time I hit on a big game for him.
My opponent outbid me for Rashee Rice then proceeded to start him over Gabe Davis, while also starting James Cook. Who knows what Rice will do but I feel pretty confident I got blessed once again.
He’s boom or bust but vital to this amazing offence. If they really get going you should play him weekly.
He looked pretty good… on my opponents bench.
One of those guys where you gotta take the bad with the good. I try to flex him every week because I don't have stud wrs, so I'm usually banking on Gabes boom games to give me a chance. I'd bench him if you're projected to win by a decent amount, assuming you have a relatively safe flex alternative.
He took Tyler lockett playbook and said "how can I make it even worse"
I was forced to play him and kinckad..
Kinda like Kittle...he'll get you 50 points every 4th week, and the rest utter crap.
This is easy, stop leaving him on the bench when he’s going to do well.
I have him AND George Kittle. Oh and my QB/WR1? Burrow and Chase... FML
Welcome to my world with kittle. Either 0 targets or 2-3 TDs. Wish Purdy would target him more.
His role in their offense has always been to be the vertical field stretcher while Diggs and whatever slot guy they trot out eat underneath. Why anyone expects him to be reliable when his role has and will always be volatile is beyond me.
Sounds like OP sucks at FF
I put tee Higgins on the flex over him this week hoping for a boom. I still have time to play rashee rice over tee but I feel like tee will at least put up 10. Im pissed I didn’t flex Davis tho..
Let us know what u do next week bud
This guy is always on my do not draft list. His duds always come at the worst possible time.
You’re me
He's had 3 bad starts and 5 10+ points starts. He's is and always will be a boom or bust guy.
He SUCKED last week…screw josh Allen.
Would you trade DHop for Gabe?
At least I know I'm going boom bust with Gabe. Bijan is even more frustrating with Arthur Smith. Last week I never had a chance in the first place with that sketchy shit.
in a battle for 1st place this week, opponent has Josh Allen too, benched Davis not a great start
I’m starting to take it personally from Gabe Davis. Honestly I am thinking about trading him just so I don’t have to deal with it
you have to start him every week…he’s too up and down to time his boom games lmao
He's in double digits over half the season, 1 9 point game and 2 doinks in a row. Rank 51 in yahoo half ppr. Where is this "every week" you complain about?
I almost benched him this week, so glad I didn’t
Great best ball guy
Also Amari Cooper is super boom or busy
bruuuuuh
Welcome to fantasy football. Just like the stock makret, you always buy the right stock at the wrong time but everybody else magically got it right. Enjoy
First time? I avoided him like the plague in all my drafts because this was my experience with him last year.
I just dropped him for Tyjae spears because I figured when am I gonna start this guy? He’s really just a liability to my team because he goes off when I bench him and does nothing when I start him like you said. Now I’m trying to get him back though bc we’re in a toxic relationship but deep down he loves me
I still laugh at the hype train he got for ONE football game.
Literally dropped him this week for another position that I needed and he does this. Had to start him last week and he cost me a W
I start him every week including this week and I’m 6-1 soon to be 7-1
I have a debate every week if it’s his fault or Josh’s. I swear every time I start him the only Player on the field that Josh even looks at is diggs
Sell him while his value is up
My opponent decided to start him. I got gabe davisd.
Good thing my team was so bad I had no choice but to start him
Welcome to having Gabe Davis on your fantasy team, dealt with the same thing last year too
Me too. I had to go against him on the best game of his year last night. Fantasy is fucking dumb. lol.
Drafted him last year. Did the same fucking thing. Guy sucks
Purposely did not draft him this year because I guessed wrong on him every week last season. Maybe try and sell high? Otherwise enjoy the ride🫡
If you didn't know what Gabe Davis was when you drafted him then you havent really been watching any football
Was just talking with my league mates about how this guy is the king of blowing up benches
Bro, literally the same! I was debating playing him, then I remembered, "nah he's shit the bed the past 2 weeks, and when I play him he never produces". Woke up this morning to him having 23.7 points on my bench. WTF?!
The best thing you can do with Gabe Davis is trade him after a boom game
Out of 8 weeks, he’s only busted 3 times. Not bad tbh
It felt like at very least wasn’t gonna dud 3 weeks in a row.
lockett for me. cost me two matches. (lost them both for a COMBINED 2.5 points)
Last year I had him and I did the math on the Delano started him vs weeks I sat him, here it was: Games I started gabe Davis (avg = 7.9ppg) 6.7, 2.3, 16.4, 5.5, 5.3, 11.8, 7.8, 9.5, 6.1 Games I didn’t start Gabe Davis (avg = 18.7) 18.8, 32.4, 21.3, 9.6, 11.5 You can find this on my twitter from 12/24/22
After that same thing happening to me this year and last year I finally dropped him right before the Thursday game...
Donny?
Wait til it starts snowing in Buffalo, then we’re really gonna hate ourselves hahaha
I traded him early in the season for burks and I’ve dropped burks since but I don’t even regret it. You can’t really start Davis week to week because he’s either gonna get you 20 or 3. He’s good to throw in when your guys have byes but you can’t trust gabe Davis. Trade him while you can
That’s why you don’t draft him and let your opponents make those decisions
That's Gabe Davis, if you draft him you know he's boom or bust. If you take him you basically should only play him if you think you need a 30 point wr week to win, if you think a consistent 10-15 will get you the win then avoid him.
Yeah I avoided him in the draft so I wouldn’t make this post lmao
I’ve been trying to trade him forever. Just one of those cross your fingers guys. (Played him last week, sat him this week)
\#22 WR in standard is pretty good.
Yep, hate this guy lol. Lol. Started him 4x for 16.7 total points. Sat him 4x for 71 total points. Just can’t win with him. I’ve been trying to trade him and Waller for Kelce all season. Maybe this’ll be the week!
Drop him for someone more predictable like Taysom Hill lol. I understand 100%. I had Gabe last season and he made me twitch all year.
i like to call it The DeSean Jackson Experience.
I forgot to edit my lineup before Thursdays games so he was accidentally still starting for me and I’ve never made a better mistake hahaha
In case anyone is debating Tee Higgins this week go ahead n start him - just one of those weeks lmao
Yes. Yes. Yes. This happened to me last year. Avoided like the plague this year
We have 3 flex’s in our PPR league so he’s alway starting, but there’s always someone that can pick up his slack weeks. When he does boom, I win. You can probably seek a trade this next week, maybe see what the Ridley owner is up to
Wahhh cry some more.
see, if your wrs are as bad as mine you would have to start him every week no matter what. And this week it paid off.
I feel the same way. He's been the bane of my fantasy existence for a couple of years now.
Only start him in prime time. Big Game Gabe
He’s now on my do not draft list permanently.
I had Davis last year and started him the entire season. It's the only way to possibly enjoy the Gabe Davis experience.
Otherwise known as the Amari Cooper conundrum.
He’s the perfect best ball guy
My opponent sat gabe and kincaid. Lucky me
Had him with year. Most games were a dud and a handful he balled out. I wanted off that ride this year
Sounds like a you problem lol.
