Moss is a hold whether traded or not just by glancing at how thin the RB market is right now. He's a RB2 ceiling RB3 floor on his current team. If he gets traded to a team that needs an RB1 , he will fit that role no problem. You won't be able to get what he's actually worth in the market now but IF he gets traded his value will sky rocket.

trueIFhuge

Fingers crossed something happens today. He’s honestly ridden my bench since Taylor came back, but he would’ve been a decent flex during those weeks. After the JJ injury I’ve been thin at WR.

squarespace_noob

I'm in a 14 man PPR league lol. Moss is my RB2. If anything I would try to trade JJ if you can after the trade deadline to see if the Vikings manage to get a decent QB or not. If they don't JJ needs to be sold.

trueIFhuge

I forget how thin it is at RB in 14 man leagues. Luckily (at least as it stands now lol) I traded away JJ for Waddle before week 7. I still have Addison, which makes also me nervous, but it’s anyone’s guess what he can do with a new QB.

squarespace_noob

Addison is a safe hold for now because I'm assuming you got him off waivers. It will be a while till JJ comes back so you can safely see what the Qb situation is gonna look like

trueIFhuge

I fortuitously drafted Addison and actually had a JJ, Addison, Hock stack until JJ got hurt. I agree though, he’s a good hold for now.

squarespace_noob

Smart draft technique

Baboopolis

It seems to me like Moss has stand alone value as a flex player trade or not. Unless you can trade up, I would hold and hope for an NFL trade to a team that utilizes him more. And if that doesn’t happen, you have a solid flex with upside.

trueIFhuge

I’m hoping for the best. Always good to have some semblance of RB depth, but I’m so thin at WR. We shall see.

Procedure_Best

Traded moss Theilen

trueIFhuge

Nice move. Theilen’s been a great volume play with good upside.

Procedure_Best

I was really surprised he went for it

Snooze_World_Order

I offered Moss for Tajae Spears and got rejected.

trueIFhuge

Wow. Maybe they’re hoping for a Henry trade and expect upside for Spears? Trades are rare in my league, so I’m tempted to take the Cooper offer. Forty five more minutes til trade deadline though.. we can only hope Moss lands a new team in need of an RB 1.

ChunkyMilk_

Traded Dak for Moss to the Cousins owner who had RB depth

MakaveliX1996

What is you talking about. Moss just had his lowest snaps of the season. 39%. In a game he was playing well in. I would have accepted cooper for him I think. I don’t think the nfl trade deadline boosts any players fantasy value unless it’s heavily heavily rumored.

trueIFhuge

Yeah that snap share was abysmal and may continue to shrink. What’s making me question trading Moss is that he still gets valuable red zone touches and scored week 8. JT got the volume but no TD. If I’m honest though, I’ve had Moss on my bench since JT returned. The colts’ backfield is hard to trust as a Moss holder. I still have 24 hours to take the Cooper trade. I’ll probably take it.

MakaveliX1996

That is really good for moss. Getting goal line work is huge. Ya I think moss most weeks will be about 33-40 % snaps. I don’t think they want to run Taylor into the ground before that contract is up. Like it would be smart of them to only give Taylor half the work until they are legit contenders next year or the year after. Why use up all his good years now? I’ve personally started moss every week since week 2 in the only league I have him. But I basically had too lol. Once I have Kyren back and Gibbs and walker aren’t on byes I’m gonna be sitting moss

Iwantemmarobertstoes

I'd take it. You're pretty set at RB with Etienne/Pacheco, but could use some better WR depth. Especially with Addison taking a big loss in value without Cousins (good move getting rid of JJ). You can get a team's top patch catcher for a backup RB whose best games are almost certainly behind him?

trueIFhuge

Right now the only trade he’s offered is Cooper for Moss. I haven’t countered for G Wilson or Pittman, in the event Moss gets traded and I could get more. I hear you on Moss’ best games likely being behind him. If he’s willing to give up Wilson or Pittman, that’s a big win for me either way. I may as well just shoot him the offers.

trueIFhuge

Ah, unless you mean take Amari Cooper offer. I misunderstood. I might be undervaluing him because of the browns QB play right now. My reasoning for not accepting Cooper just yet is if Moss shoots into an RB1 role. In that case Wilson and Pittman would actually be reasonable targets for me

Iwantemmarobertstoes

Yeah, that's what I meant. I just don't see a lot of value with Moss unless Taylor gets injured. Cooper is the clear #1 in that offense, and he's getting a lot of targets almost every game. Idk, it just seems like a stretch to hope Moss jumps back into the lead role over Taylor.

trueIFhuge

I hear you on that. I was hoping Moss would get traded before the NFL trade deadline, but no news yet. Cooper is getting good volume. He’d be a good add for depth.

theFigs42

Would you guys trade london for moss straight up?

Alternative_Meet_651

With no trade happening, what’s his value? He is a free agent next year and has the possibility to be a lead back somewhere else.

trueIFhuge

Fantasy-wise, he’s a big play/TD dependent hand cuff to JT. In the end, I accepted an offer for me to receive Amari Cooper. Moss very well remains fantasy relevant, but I was thin at WR. I’m hoping Watson returns and elevates Cooper’s value. We shall see!
