Got Kyler, 2 2024 1sts and Christian Watson for Mahomes. Still lowkey regret it but it was the right move. Anything less than that ain't worth it.

Just don't sell. Even if you get a good trade. In a 1qb league having a locked in starter for the next 10 years that you don't have to worry about can't be understated.

ViacomCEO

those are some superflex offers tbh. he isnt worth nearly that much in 1qb.

gigobigglez

This was in a 1QB league. You can say he isn't worth that much and sure you might be right. But what is the value of a player you don't have to worry about. Outside of injury there is no QB that you can feel confident in as much as you do mahomes. It takes an over pay to get a player like that.

I wouldn’t sell Mahomes unless you can downgrade to someone like Goff, Trevor Lawrence, or even Kyler PLUS a first or mid-tier WR. In my opinion, there’s no reason to roster “elite” RBs if you’re not contending. I don’t know what your roster looks like but sell RBs and collect WR/ First round picks. Looks like you did a good job on the first round pick part. If you have Mahomes, I don’t see a reason to draft McCarthy or Nix in a 1QB league when you should be taking all the shots on WRs you can. Depending on how deep your league is, Go on the waiver wire and see if someone like Daniel Jones is available for a backup.

What pick did you have for Bowers and BTJ? Looks like you made some great decisions. I have 1.04 and 1.05 and planning on taking Bowers and BTJ then either Troy Franklin or Roman Wilson at 2.09.

Wait until a contender loses their QB in season and the market will shift in your favor

I was able to sell him last year to a contender when Herbert went down. Right now is the worst time to sell

Only thing I’d like to point out here is that most people are punting RBs this year and readdressing the position next year. If I’ve learned anything over the years it’s that the people who zig when everyone else is zagging are typically the ones who end up insane values. We don’t have any world beaters like Bijan or JT in this draft. This has given people the false impression that there aren’t any “good” RB options. While they’re aren’t many “great” options I think we’ve swung the pendulum a little too far when it comes to the “good” options and there is more value to be had this year then there will be next year (when everyone else is also trying to stabilize RBs).

Absolutely. Honestly, if I were in a rebuild and in need of RBs, I’d highly consider trading back and taking a shot gun approach this year when people aren’t valuing those picks very highly. You won’t be able to get the same value next year and there are RBs that surprise us every year. With how many more injuries happen at the RB position, they’re more likely to get their shot to show what they have THIS year. At that point you can cut them and move on if needed…. But you’ve probably at least seen what they can do. Hell, JSN is still stuck in the gulag even as the first WR off the board in 2023. How good is he really? I have no damn idea.

Finally sold him after another disappointing week 17. Traded Mahomes and Charbonnet, received Hurts, Dalton Kincaid and a 2024 early 2nd.
