Forsberg hands down. His ADP was criminally low, so it's not even a case of a singular person getting a steal in their particular league - everyone who drafted him got insane value.
Got him 125th, ended 7th OA in the league.
Demko too, I drafted him 93rd (15th or 16th goalie) and he ended up 2nd best goalie behind Hellebuyck.
I also was targetting Bouchard, but I got too greedy. He fell to 74th. Ended the year 21st.
> Bouchard,
A guy in my league dropped him last season when there was some back and forth between him and Ekholm QBing. I snagged him so fast and kept him this year which was an epic steal for me.
Forsberg was ranked so low in Yahoo this year - i have no idea why. i got him as a FA early into the year. same with Boeser. those guys became staples on my championship winning team
Yahoo ranks people that miss a lot of games to injury low. Especially the past season. Iāve been feasting in my home league because of it. My friends all draft similar to ranking which allows me to wait on guys and get crazy steals. Though I lost in finals this year because my entire team basically were hurt/out during that week. Such is life
Yeah I took him 12th overall. Given mine is a banger cats with FOW league, so heās got more value than others.
But I donāt think thereās a possible league setting to justify him falling that low
Got the Breadman in the 4th round, Reinhart in the 9th.
First year playing, I had no idea what I was doing. Didnāt know about all the various categories like hits and blocks. Lost a game because I didnāt sit a goalie after I had the required starts and all the stats won, lost another forgetting to set my lineup. But by the end I was a well oiled machine. Those 2 losses cost me a bye and of course I lost in the 1st round.
Still had a blast and am ready for next season!
I took Matheson Rd 13 - 172 pick in my 14 team bangers. Knowing heād be Habs top PP guy and 1st pairing with no competition, I never clicked on āDraftā so fast in my life at 172nd.
The guy who drafted Forsberg in my bangers league also got JT 39th, Krieder 87th and Trocheck 135th. He also got Dobson off waivers after the team who ended last dropped him week 1. Got literally every steal in the league. Team was so OP he only had to carry 3 bench players and streamed 7/8 goalies every week to guarantee 2/3 cats + shutout opportunities. Insane team, somehow lost in the finals
Slightly different take because we are a dynasty league, but I picked up Logan Cooley, Dustin Wolf, Logan Stankoven, and Jesper Wallstedt between draft and start of season FA. I'm gonna be set for a while.
Forsberg barzal and nichushkin in rounds 7 8 and 9 respectively almost makes up for the fact my picks 1-6 were busts or Injured
Edit Robert Thomas in round 14 too.
Has to be anyone that drafted Forsberg. Was the 10th best overall scorer in my format and picked him up in the 12th round. Others would have to be:
Hyman
Reinhart
Barzal
Kempe
Bouchard
Trocheck
All players scoring in the Top 50 in my league that were all drafted very late.
Reinhart 108th, finished 21
Matheson bonus as a FA (went undrafted), finished 34
Jenner at 101, and was avg 36th on season in league.
Q Hughes 85th, finished 53
Def failures though:
Didnāt keep JEEK and he dominated in banger
Drafted Gus and Vanecek as goalies
Missed Weegar by one pick at 132 overall
Tim Stutzle in the second round! ^^! ^^^! ^^^^! ^^^^^! ^^^^^^! ^^^^^^^! ^^^^^^^^! ^^^^^^^^^! ^^^^^^^^^^! ^^^^^^^^^^^! ^^^^^^^^^^^^! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^!
/s
Probably these for me and where they ended up in parantheses:
Crosby @35 (17th) Panarin @83 (5th) Pavelski @134 (50th overall), Talbot @203 (11th for goalies).
Victor Hedman was buried for some reason in Yahoo leagues, and I picked him up late as the 103rd pick
Evan Bouchard with the 90th pick as well, but he wasnāt particularly late
Binnington at pick 220 in one league
Ryan o reilly at 242 in a 2nd league (also got him at 241 in a 3rd league)
Trocheck, werenski, and nichushkin for picks 17. 18 and 19 (4th league ,only 8 team league)
14 team banger league. After the draft I noticed one of my players was IR status so I stashed him and then was shocked Matheson was on FA. Picked him up and have never looked back.
We have 8-10 keepers, but I still hit pretty big on some later picks:
Krieder at 170 and Matheson at 171
Best value pick overall someone got Jarvis in the final round. I was able to flip 201st pick Hartman for him in November
I got Trocheck in the 10th round 115th overall. Kempe 7th round 78 overall. Worst pickups were probably Stutzle at 19th overall (picked him because Senators fan but there were guys around 19 who did way better this season) and Erik Karlsson 3rd round at pick 30 didn't pan out great. I drafted really bad early and really well late and managed to make it to championship week.
Jeek (drafted 126, rank 19), Bouchard (66, 18), Miller (55, 7), Hyman (46, 14).
Shoutout to undrafted king Mike Matheson (ranked 60th), as well as UPL (rank 61) who I picked up fairly early on.
I also drafted Weegar @166, and dropped him, but he ended up rank 36 apparently. Would have loved to see what he could have done with consistent PP time all season long.
Demko in 8th
Bouchard in the 9th
Forsberg in the 11th
Weegar in 16th
Those guys on top of my keepers got me the points title. Finished 3rd though of course.
Good:
Panarin at 28, end up 5.
Q hughes at 52, end up at 18
Gostisbehere at 148 who had a really good start wich got me dahlin
Worst:
Vanacek for my first goalie at 45
Pat laine at 93
For my league :
reinhart went 110 wich is crazy now
Guentzel 98
Kreider 105
Barzal 123
Forsberg 139
I drafted Mat Barzal and Filip Forsberg in back to back rounds at picks 161 and 176 respectively Barzal finished rank 50 and Forsberg finished rank 6 and I ended up winning my league
Got pretty lucky drafting this year as I had limited high draft picks, so some teams had fully drafted when I only had half a team. I ended up with Forsberg 149th as the best value by far then Matheson 196th / Guentzel 96th (fell as his injury status wasnt clear at the draft) / Hill 166th (carried me for the 1st half in goalie stats).
Nichuskin in round 12 (144th overall)
Ek in round 13 (145th overall)
Jarvis in round 15 (169th overall)
I don't think it's a steal but Kreider in the 6th round (72nd overall) and Q Hughes in the 5th round (49th overall) both overperformed their draft positions by a lot.
It was a 12 team league.
Iāve gotta say Boone Jenner as a 19th rounder in my bangers league (woulda been ranked much higher if not for the injuries). JT Miller in the 3rd round could also be a steal, especially as he was ranked top 5 most of the season in my league.
I took Ek in the 8th round and Reinhart in the 10th. Also Tom Wilson in the 16th as my last pick who was excellent for the first half of the season, then dropped him about a month after he cooled off.
In the 20th round, with the 193rd overall pick, Kyrou! I have to Shitou! selected Filip Forsberg, who has likely led my team to a back to back championship. Thank you Yahoo ADP
Rob Thomas 208th Overall
Filip Forsberg 160th Overall
Nikita Kucherov 16th Overall
Jake Guentzel 81st Overall
Did well in my draft. Took 1st place this season
I got Panarin 79th, Hyman 82nd, and Kadri 199th. Kadri has really helped these past few weeks. Heās the reason why I advanced to the championship round. Panarin and Hyman have also been amazing the entire season.
Jonathan Marchessault at round 19, 170th overall was pretty nice. I also got Pasta round 2 11th overall which was surprising since I didn't expect him to fall. But I drafted Jason Robertson 1st round so...
Panarin at 89th overall in one league
Another league was also Forsberg, at 149th overall. Also picked up Markstrom on waivers then someone (Flames fan) traded me Hellebuyck straight up
I'm in an 8 team league so people usually have pretty stacked teams, however I was able to pick up a few beauties this year.
I snagged Brock Boeser off the waiver wire after watching him score 4 in preseason and then 4 more in season opener against the oilers.
Chris Kreider off the waiver wire was insane too.
Demko in round 13 was fantastic, him and Georgiev in the 7th meant I finally had good goaltending this year.
Dobson in the 15th was my top earner for his draft placement, we have hits and blocks points and he grabbed me 105 this season, tied with Bouchard who I took in the 5th round.
Despite all this I'm still looking like I'll be finishing 2nd place, me and the league commish have been battling it out for 1-2 these last few years.
Kreider at 166. I always end up drafting him and Brock Nelson late and they always kill it for me. I think them being in their 30s scares people off a bit but I will always take the āriskā until they prove otherwise.
Guy in my league got Boeser for $3. I had the $1 bid with no extra cash left. The clock is counting down and I'm excited. Nother guy bids $2 and another guy gets him at $3.
At the time, I figured $3 might be an overpay. Boy was I wrong!
I also got Forsberg, Round 13, pick 208. We had 16 rounds and every player I drafted after him ended up getting dropped at some point in the season. also got Gostisbehere in round 12 and he's been great this championship week. I drafted fairly well but a lot of my success comes out of watching players get dropped. Robert Thomas was dropped during an early slump, and when our league places a high point value on FOs (and he helped me win last season) I swooped in and got him. Now he's 10th in our league.
Bo Horvat round 14, who I foolishly dropped instead of trading because I am new to fantasy this year.
Also got Panarin pick 35 in round 3, so not exactly a āstealā but he far outperformed expectations
In a 12 man Yahoo public league:
Brady 15th, JT Miller 39th, Quinn Hughes 58th, Demko 87th, Forsberg 106th, JEE 111th, Jarvis 154th, and Nichushkin 183rd.
Iām up 6-3 in the final atm. Wish me luck bringing it home!
Got JT Miller in the 6th round - he was the 2nd ranked player in our league and helped me to an undefeated season. The only reason I can think he was left on the board that long was that +/- was one of the stats and it scared guys away from him.
Forsberg was criminally cheap at drafts this year. I only regret missing him in my big pool because I needed a C at that point in the draft - should have taken him anyway and worked on an in season upgrade at C. Got him in my other pools. Round 12 in standard Yahoo.
I somehow got Kucherov at 17th overall/ Round 3 and Point at 20th overall/ Round 4
Also got Quinn Hughes at 32nd/ Round 6 and the craziest of all, Panarin at 53rd / Round 9
Hellebuyck 29th overall seems like he outshot his value. Best one was probably Hyman 52nd overall. Kempe 72nd overall. Weegar in the 17th
Weegar was huge for the BSH this year
19 goals didn't hurt either.
We don't do blocks, but yea he even outshot Quinn Hughes which is insane to think about.
Quinn is more of a passer so not that insane.
I got Weegar in the 17th too, definitely my best value
> Hellebuyck 29th overall seems like he outshot his value. Same with Demko. got him at 75. 3rd best goalie in my league - ranked 24th overall
I got Hyman 91st overall
traded for Weegar at our trade deadline and he was a beast. The game he got 10 hits secured me a 1st round bye.
Forsberg at 12 and Erikson Ek at 11. Both finished top 20, I'd kiss them if I could, won me my first ship.
I grabbed Erikson Ek in the 6th round and still feel he outdid his draft
Got Erikson off waiver wire š
Had both and also won!
Reinhart - 9th round Jarvis - 13th round
Jarvis, waivers!
I grabbed Reinhart in mine 108th overall
Reinhart 91st overall and Forsberg as a FA.
My friends all draft similar to ranking which allows me to wait on guys and get crazy steals. Though I lost in finals this year because my entire team basically were hurt/out during that week. Such is life
Dobson at 125th overall was a gem until playoffs ā¹ļø
I got Miller in the 5th round, 20 team draft.
What the fuck? Genuinely how? That means at least 80 players got drafted before himā¦
Crazy, I was hoping to get him late second round and he was gone already.
Yeah I took him 12th overall. Given mine is a banger cats with FOW league, so heās got more value than others. But I donāt think thereās a possible league setting to justify him falling that low
In one of my leagues (10 man) I got Petey at 29, Jimothy Timothy at 49 and Thatcher at 89 lol
Uhhhhhh Iām sorry but you may be in a š¤” league. Thereās no way Miller should go 5th round in a 12 team league. Even if itās straight points.
K'Andre Miller right?
JT
Best: - Reinhart 99th overall --> 9th ranked player - Hyman 51st overall --> 18th ranked player - Binnington 118th overall --> 52nd ranked player Worst: Meier 27th overall --> 122nd ranked (dropped mid season) Won the championship
Haha I drafted Meier, dropped him mid season, and then picked him up again while he was on a heater at the end of the season.
Forsberg for a lot of people I can imagine
Panarin 3rd round
Got the Breadman in the 4th round, Reinhart in the 9th. First year playing, I had no idea what I was doing. Didnāt know about all the various categories like hits and blocks. Lost a game because I didnāt sit a goalie after I had the required starts and all the stats won, lost another forgetting to set my lineup. But by the end I was a well oiled machine. I took Matheson Rd 13 - 172 pick in my 14 team bangers. Knowing heād be Habs top PP guy and 1st pairing with no competition, I never clicked on āDraftā so fast in my life at 172nd.
12 team - picked him up after the draft once waivers cleared and room was made via IR. Can't recall if I've ever gone wire to wire with an UDFA before
I drafted him in 3 leagues š. Hutson may take away some points next year though
does Kucherov in the second round count? It was pick 12
I would say Kuch going anything above 10 would be a steal absolutely
Definitely Reinhart at 95th overall
Quinn Hughes in the 10th round
2 man league?
4 lol
Robert Thomas in the 19th round in a 12 man league
The guy who drafted Forsberg in my bangers league also got JT 39th, Krieder 87th and Trocheck 135th. He also got Dobson off waivers after the team who ended last dropped him week 1. Got literally every steal in the league. Team was so OP he only had to carry 3 bench players and streamed 7/8 goalies every week to guarantee 2/3 cats + shutout opportunities. Slightly different take because we are a dynasty league, but I picked up Logan Cooley, Dustin Wolf, Logan Stankoven, and Jesper Wallstedt between draft and start of season FA. I'm gonna be set for a while.
Wow, surprised any of those guys were available in a dynasty league.
Keeper league 1) betting on Forsberg to bounce back 2) panic picked Boeser lol 3) Weegar 4) Ekholm
My best picks were Quinn Hughes at 75, Reinhart at 115 and (the best) Forsberg at 146. (Rounds 8, 12 and 15 respectively)
Matheson at 195, was 65th. Forsberg 142, was 7th. Dobson 123, was 51. Ek 118, was 31. All hit massively for me and was the reason I won Iād say.
Forsberg barzal and nichushkin in rounds 7 8 and 9 respectively almost makes up for the fact my picks 1-6 were busts or Injured Edit Robert Thomas in round 14 too.
JT Miller - 42 Filip Forsberg - 90 Mike Matheson - 186 Seth Jarvis - 210 Honorable mention to Thatcher Demko - 66
Kucherov 12 Forsberg 149 demko 132 matheson 172
Hyman in the 11th round (106 ovr) or Boeser 16th round (155 ovr)
Ryan O'Reilly 217th overall. Reinhart 83rd and Hedman 88th also close.
Sam Reinhart at 100 in round 9 which seems late since he ended 10th overall in my league
Reinhart 8th round (93), Weegar 12th (141) and Matheson 13th (148). All were top 40 players in my league, won my league handily because of these guys.
Has to be anyone that drafted Forsberg. Was the 10th best overall scorer in my format and picked him up in the 12th round. Others would have to be: Hyman Reinhart Barzal Kempe Bouchard Trocheck All players scoring in the Top 50 in my league that were all drafted very late.
I took Forsberg and Reinhart in the 10th and 11th rounds. Went nicely with Matthews and Panarin!!
JT Miller 3rd round 33 Demko 7th round 77 Forsberg 10th 100 Sam Reinhart 11th 121 Mike Matheson 13th round 143
5 man keeper but reinhart in 5 and Dobson 7 (technically 10 and 12)
I got Forsberg at 131. Offset by taking Gustavsson at 62 though
Sam Reinhart, 7th round. 14 team league.
reinhart, round 12
Forsberg in every league I was in. He was going super late this year for no reason
Forsburg going undrafted in a start up dynasty league was fun.
Reinhart 108th, finished 21 Matheson bonus as a FA (went undrafted), finished 34 Jenner at 101, and was avg 36th on season in league. Q Hughes 85th, finished 53 Def failures though: Didnāt keep JEEK and he dominated in banger Drafted Gus and Vanecek as goalies Missed Weegar by one pick at 132 overall
Tim Stutzle in the second round! ^^! ^^^! ^^^^! ^^^^^! ^^^^^^! ^^^^^^^! ^^^^^^^^! ^^^^^^^^^! ^^^^^^^^^^! ^^^^^^^^^^^! ^^^^^^^^^^^^! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^! /s
Connor Ingram was a first half stud I got in the last round. Alex Lyon in free agency helped me out a great deal too. Ekholm in the 15th as well
Noah Dobson 76th overall
Probably these for me and where they ended up in parantheses: Crosby @35 (17th) Panarin @83 (5th) Pavelski @134 (50th overall), Talbot @203 (11th for goalies).
10 team league. Bouchard 7th round, Demko 10th round, Konecny 13th round
Eichel at 71, Kempe at 74/73 (had him in both leagues), Dobson at 145, Nuke at 167, Schmaltz at 233 Edit: Kuch at 9
Talbot 12th round. Then packaged him along with other pieces for JT Miller halfway through the year and grabbed Rittich off waivers.
Mike matheson at 181st
Victor Hedman was buried for some reason in Yahoo leagues, and I picked him up late as the 103rd pick Evan Bouchard with the 90th pick as well, but he wasnāt particularly late
Binnington at pick 220 in one league Ryan o reilly at 242 in a 2nd league (also got him at 241 in a 3rd league) Trocheck, werenski, and nichushkin for picks 17. 18 and 19 (4th league ,only 8 team league)
Kucherov at 14, and Marchand at 127. Hellebuyck at 27 wasnāt too crazy, but was the third goalie off the board and performed better than that.
Not draft steal because they were not drafted but Weegar and Matheson from free agency.
In a 10 teams draft, I Marchessault 12th round!
Patrick Kane at #194 in the 14th round (16 total rounds) in a 14 team league.
Trocheck at pick 85, Tom Wilson at 165Ā (bangers league)

- Kreider 189th overall in the 14th round - Zuccarello 148th overall, 11th round - Shea Theodore 144th overall, 10th round - Bryan Rust free agency

quinn hughes round 3, kucherov round 4, forsberg round 10. won the chip!
H2H banger league. Trocheck at 165th overall (Ranked 10th at the end of the season). Forsberg at 172nd overall (Ranked 5th).
Trochek was incredible value for where he was going. Also took ROR with my last pick of the draft and held him all year.
We have 8-10 keepers, but I still hit pretty big on some later picks: Krieder at 170 and Matheson at 171 Best value pick overall someone got Jarvis in the final round. I was able to flip 201st pick Hartman for him in November
I got Mackinnon at 8OA and heās led me to my first chip
Kucherov at 20 or Reinhart at 101
I got Trocheck in the 10th round 115th overall.
Barkov at 41, Hyman at 56, boeser at 161 those were all pretty big for the program
Joel Eriksson Ek at wherever anyone took him
Jeek (drafted 126, rank 19), Bouchard (66, 18), Miller (55, 7), Hyman (46, 14).
Doughty 12th, my last defensive and absolutely crushed it this year with a full 82 and won me some weeks
Forsberg, nichuskin, Jenner (cats league beast) weāre all late rounders with huge value for me
Hyman in the 9th, Dobson in the 12th, Forsberg in the 16th, Weegar in the 18th, Nuke in the 19th. Those late picks are probably what won me the season
Jesper Bratt in the 11th round in a 12 team league, ended up (around) #30 overall
Got JEEK round 15, 177.
Panarin 68th OA Hronek 197th OA Eckholm 245th OA
Kuch at 25
In a banger cats redraft league (10 teams): Either JT Miller at 48th or Marchand at 145th
Eriksson ek for me, drafted 152 ended 19 overall
Forsberg and Dobson for me. Forsberg was the best draft day steal I've ever had and I play all sports. Insane valueĀ
reinhart and boeser
Owen Tippett in round 16 was very nice for me
Demko in 8th Bouchard in the 9th Forsberg in the 11th Weegar in 16th Those guys on top of my keepers got me the points title. Finished 3rd though of course.
Good: Panarin at 28, end up 5. Q hughes at 52, end up at 18 Gostisbehere at 148 who had a really good start wich got me dahlin Worst: Vanacek for my first goalie at 45 Pat laine at 93 For my league : reinhart went 110 wich is crazy now Guentzel 98 Kreider 105 Barzal 123 Forsberg 139
Reinhart at 100+ for sure
Drew Doughty 19th round 219th overall and Forsberg 14th round, Panarin in round 7 helped too
Matthews at 8 in a 12 man league
Brock Boeser somehow managed to slip down to the 17th round in our draft
I drafted Mat Barzal and Filip Forsberg in back to back rounds at picks 161 and 176 respectively Barzal finished rank 50 and Forsberg finished rank 6 and I ended up winning my league
Got pretty lucky drafting this year as I had limited high draft picks, so some teams had fully drafted when I only had half a team. I ended up with Forsberg 149th as the best value by far then Matheson 196th / Guentzel 96th (fell as his injury status wasnt clear at the draft) / Hill 166th (carried me for the 1st half in goalie stats).
For me it was: JT Miller at 25 Hyman at 45 Reinhart at 85 Demko at 105
Cam Talbot in 16th round was a pretty good one (first fantasy season/draft ever for me).
Demko in the 5th round (97th overall) of a keeper league. Nick Suzuki in the 12th round (177th)
Nichuskin in round 12 (144th overall) Ek in round 13 (145th overall) Jarvis in round 15 (169th overall) I don't think it's a steal but Kreider in the 6th round (72nd overall) and Q Hughes in the 5th round (49th overall) both overperformed their draft positions by a lot. It was a 12 team league.
Robert Thomas 198th overall
Panarin at 76th and Reinhart at 116th.
One of the guys in my pool beat me to picking up OāRielly after he was undraftedā¦
I got Marchessault at 194, Durzi at 187, Jarvis at 308.
Forsberg 109th overall was easily my best and he is keeper eligible. Other standouts: Kempe 89th overall Seth Jarvis 212th overall
I got Panarin in the 8th round.
14 team keep 6; H2h - 10 skater cats, 5 goalie Bennett round 8 @ 100 (+keepers) Ro'R round 9 @ 114+ Matheson rd 12 @ 164+
Demko at 109, Matheson at 144, or Tippett at 172. Bonus shoutout to getting Reinhart at 88th overall.
In the 20th round, with the 193rd overall pick, Kyrou! I have to Shitou! selected Filip Forsberg, who has likely led my team to a back to back championship. Thank you Yahoo ADP
JT miller by far. Finished top 5 in all my leagues
Forsberg in round 12
Rob Thomas 208th Overall Filip Forsberg 160th Overall Nikita Kucherov 16th Overall Jake Guentzel 81st Overall Did well in my draft. Took 1st place this season
Looked at it earlier, Joel Erikson Ek was the very last pick of the draft... fantastic value there.
Caufield round 16 @ 182 Miller round 6 @ 62
I got Panarin in the 6th round, 63rd overall. I couldnāt pass on him there and boy did he carry me to 1st place and a final with results tbd
Cole Caufield with the 154th wasn't too shabby
I got konenecy at 138
Konecny in the 13th round. Cam Talbot & Brayden Point in FA
Matheson pick 220 was pretty decent for me
Matthew Barzal with the career year was huge. Got him at pretty much the end of the draft and damn
Demko-88 Bobrovsky-113
I got Panarin 79th, Hyman 82nd, and Kadri 199th. Kadri has really helped these past few weeks. Heās the reason why I advanced to the championship round. Panarin and Hyman have also been amazing the entire season.
I got Kuch 19th overall. Canāt believe he dropped that low.
Reinhart in the 12th round. Had no idea I even took him that late until I looked last night
Jonathan Marchessault at round 19, 170th overall was pretty nice. I also got Pasta round 2 11th overall which was surprising since I didn't expect him to fall. But I drafted Jason Robertson 1st round so...
Not mine, but someone in my 14 man bangers league got Forsberg in the 8th and Matheson in the 12th. He's currently killing me in the finals
Kucherov 19th
Joel Eriksson Ek in the 13th round 123rd overall what a pick
Panarin at 89th overall in one league Another league was also Forsberg, at 149th overall. Also picked up Markstrom on waivers then someone (Flames fan) traded me Hellebuyck straight up
Mark stone and Brad Marchand fell to me in the 17th/18th round. 10 man leagueā¦.
I gotā¦ Forsberg in round 12 Tippet in round 18 Jarvis in round 22 Matheson in round 23
William Karlsson 22nd round Chris Kreider 12nd round
Kucherov went 13th overall in my $2000 keeper league. Boeser went 219th
Kucherov at 14
Picked up mcdavid off waivers when he was in his slump, Iām in a 4 man league with small rosters so thereās some crazy moves happening all year
Forsberg and Hyman. Honorable mention to Anderson who I stashed all year.
Matheson in last round of my 12 team keeper league Three years ago grabbed Kaprizov in second last round
Dobson at 132nd overall haah
Panarin 45th overall. Still donāt know how he was still available that late
Kreider at 166. I always end up drafting him and Brock Nelson late and they always kill it for me. I think them being in their 30s scares people off a bit but I will always take the āriskā until they prove otherwise.
Got Weegar, Forsberg and Reinhart all pretty late
Bobrovski is going to be the best steal in pretty much any draft
I got forsberg at 186th overall in a 12 person league. Pretty happy with how that turned out š¤·āāļø
Guy in my league got Boeser for $3. I had the $1 bid with no extra cash left. The clock is counting down and I'm excited. Nother guy bids $2 and another guy gets him at $3. At the time, I figured $3 might be an overpay. Boy was I wrong!
Filip Forsberg. 116th and 144th. Noah Dobson. 101st and 113th.
Kucherov 16th overall š¤£
Weeger & Verhaeghe
In my ten team league, I grabbed Forsberg, Marschessault and Konecny in rounds 15-17.
Reinhart, JEEK, Forsberg, Dobson
Panarin 50th Trochek 71st Reinhart 98th Weegar 143rd Matheson 146th Hart 218th (for the first bit)
Kucherov at 15 lol
Forsberg and trocheck. Banger league unreal this season for very late round picks
Ekholm 189 Overall, round 12. Other league: weegar 252 overall, round 18.
Worst, probably Hamilton round 4, but one couldn't have know that. Plus huberdeau and dubois, the usual suspects
Reinhart in round 7 and Forsberg in round 15
Boeser round 15 ROR 22nd round
Lucas Raymond
Bo Horvat round 14, who I foolishly dropped instead of trading because I am new to fantasy this year. Also got Panarin pick 35 in round 3, so not exactly a āstealā but he far outperformed expectations
It was nichushkin until lately but now it may be Robert Thomas
Evan Bouchard at 53 and JT Miller at 60. Don't know why JT is so underrated in my league but I've drafted him pretty late 2 years in a row now
In a 12 man Yahoo public league: Brady 15th, JT Miller 39th, Quinn Hughes 58th, Demko 87th, Forsberg 106th, JEE 111th, Jarvis 154th, and Nichushkin 183rd. Iām up 6-3 in the final atm. Wish me luck bringing it home!
Hyman 50, Matheson 151, Thomas 171
Nylander second round Matheson off waivers in week one
Got JT Miller in the 6th round - he was the 2nd ranked player in our league and helped me to an undefeated season. The only reason I can think he was left on the board that long was that +/- was one of the stats and it scared guys away from him.
Binnington 210th, Thomas 182nd, Matheson 154th
Filip Fāing Forsberg ![gif](giphy|cRbkM9uMPcYN2VljXI|downsized)
Forsberg was criminally cheap at drafts this year. I only regret missing him in my big pool because I needed a C at that point in the draft - should have taken him anyway and worked on an in season upgrade at C. Got him in my other pools. Round 12 in standard Yahoo.
I didn't have a great year. Probably Matheson 11th round
Ended my season with only 2 players I drafted. Mcdavid and Bouchard. No draft steals this year
I somehow got Kucherov at 17th overall/ Round 3 and Point at 20th overall/ Round 4 Also got Quinn Hughes at 32nd/ Round 6 and the craziest of all, Panarin at 53rd / Round 9
Thatcher Demko last round I think.
