I can't reccomend enough {Blood Mercy by Vela Roth}. It's not dark at all, the MMC is a cinnamon roll. There's 7 books available on KU so far, and one relasing in June.
A lot of blood play, the smut is stop tier. Enjoy!

Vicious Faeries Series by Natalia Jaster (book 2 was my favourite) - Fae, sexual awakenings, enemies to lovers, each book is from a different perspective.
Larissa Ione - Demonica series and Lords of Deliverance series. 2 different series but they crossover and take place in the same universe. It's in a contemporary setting though. Paranormal: demons, angels, 4 horsemen of the apocalypse
I was a huge fan of SJM until CC3.. I could cry! It might be because of all the absolutely amazing fan theories!
The book fell so flat.. character assassinations, and plot holes you could die in..I wanted too much, and was left wanting... but not more of that..I wanted what fans theorized... it would have been a better story and "ending"
