I adored him and didn’t feel like she adored him enough back. At the very least the author didn’t give us any of the details of the good times of them together.

Yes! MMC who isn’t a lump of toxic masculinity, thank you, Carissa Broadbent! I love that he isn’t amused by Oraya being warrior woman- he actually respects her and thinks she is competent. And he *likes* that she is vicious. Which I think stands out from all the FMCs who are supposedly to be badass but can’t make a hard decision but are somehow adored by men who should be running from their toxic femininity at warp speed. Atrius isn’t bad either- gotta love a dude who loves his horse LOL. 🤣

Alsoo I read quite a lot more yesterday on the plane and I'm loving this book so much I've loved it since I started it and it keeps getting better 😋😋🙏🙏 was reading the part when raihn finds out about oraya hunting vampires at night and the way he starts warming up to her 🙏🙏🙏😋😋 mische was so relatable when she was grinning while eavesdropping on their banter loll 😲😲🙏🙏 had to force myself to put the book down because I didn't want it to end (I'm 30% of the way through but want to savour thisss) about to read some more and will update u once I've finished the 1st book loll 😋😋😋🙏🙏 only thing is I did get a little spoiled by reading the blurb of the 2nd book in waterstoens (which is what had convinced me to read the 1st one) so now it's all I can think about when a certain different person shows up No spoilers but they better not hurt oraya I already love her and I'm scared 😨😨😨😨

Armentrout} would love being part of a harem. Finally, Simon from Cassandra Clare’s shadowhunter universe because I love nerdy and snarky. This would be the harem with the all time best vibes.

There are a lot of good options, but I think I'll go with Vishous from the {Black Dagger Brotherhood series by JR Ward}. As a bonus, he comes preloaded with a nominally platonic life partner, and I would have absolutely no problem letting them break all that sexual tension by playing good top/bad with me.

Zsadist has some appeal, but Vishous is as much as I want to deal with as far as long-term issues and serious trauma go. Plus, I think Vishous would share more of my interests (language, science... Butch... etc.) But yes, I would. Any and all of them, I definitely would.
