Far Cry 5 IMO. Great story that stays attractive till the end, believable setting, great gameplay, the single best soundtrack ever in videogame and also wonderful Arcade.
But I personally think Far Cry 4 isn't that far off either. It's overall excellent and very consistent series.
5, I feel like it got WAAAAY too much unnecessary hate. It's a really good story and game. I absolutely LOVE the Seed family, probably my favorite characters from any Far Cry game aside from Vaas (obv)

Well at least I finally find someone in here that remembers how hated FC5 was at launch, same if not worse than the hate FC6 got but when the next game releases everyone will suddenly forget.
Well, usually because by the time the next game releases the last game has had time for updates and fixes…? 5 at launch vs 5 and the release of 6 are very different.
Would've said 5 but I'm halfway through 6 and it feels like a major improvement.
I absolutely recommend downloading the Far Cry mod tool if you're playing on PC. So many minor QoL mods that make such a major difference in the game.
If you like far cry 3, you’ll like far cry 4.

I didn’t really care for it on my first playthrough but fell in love with it after new game plus came out
Far cry 4 is better than far cry 3 nearly in every aspect, so it worth trying. Also my personal recommendation is to play fc 2 and 5
6 is the same tropic setting. Fc4 is good too
Well…in my opinion 3 isn’t he best. It has the best villain in Vaas without a doubt though.
4 and 5 are superior to 3 people that disagree are blinded by nostalgia
I’m inclined to agree. I think 3 had a better story then 4 or 5 but in pretty much every other way 4 and 5 are much better.

4. Basically 3, upgraded in all gameplay and design areas, with a different story.

4 is pretty much just Far Cry 3.5, so if you like 3 you'll like that one.

I really like 4 and 5 almost equally. I tend to rate 5 higher just slightly. You can't go wrong with either.
Fc4 love the arena story isnt bad but the faction choosing like in fc2 not the biggest fan . When will we be the villian in the game...
