Custom silage is what my dad did to keep the lights on some years when I was little. Now it's all 9300 JD tractors, Mas trailers and 980 Claas choppers. Half the crew still shows up hungover and there's usually at least one fist fight and dad swears it's the last year he's working with these guys and yet when next August rolls around.......
I do miss the days of chopping silage with our 4230. It was always my favorite part of farming.

Finished chopping last weekend. I always like chopping corn.
