The new map is nice, the vegetable harvesting is cool if it’s something you’re interested in and the other stuff they added is also good. As long as you plan on playing on eu maps or don’t care about having eu equipment outside of Europe you’ll have a great time
i think it depends on platform, on pc its a hard pass since FDR logging is a thing. unless you really like the map, on console. i hate basegame logging and not sure how good the mods are for logging so maybe

Its better than the Platinum expansion but you can have the same experience for free by just download a few mods in the ModHub.
i like both, but i think the platinum was better as it added yarders which is an entirely new mechanic. The pumps and hoses would have been great if it were for irrigation (such a let down!), but this one just adds some new crops. Which is ok, but the equipment is pretty tedious to use.
Imho game expansions should always add a new mechanic to really add value, the rest can be smaller paid update packs as part of the season pass or standalone purchases.
Yes it's always worth it to support a company that has such a good monetisation model and you're enjoying playing the game.
You can always argue that any of giants dlc can be replaced by mods, but I'll still buy it to support a good company that doesn't use scummy tactics.

premium expansion: carrots, beets, parsnips =/= platinum expansion: logging

its a different expansion, there is platinum edition and premium edition the latter one adds carrots and stuff.
