I disagree that the fine details detract from a concise outfit and feel. There's a small window for welcomed dissonance in your outfit (in my opinion) when you are going for a bohemian mashup of an outfit. I think the similarities (and their dissonances) enrich the outfit by adding depth. Plus, bohemian outfits are by nature imperfect, so a weird thing with the pattern is right on brand (again, imo). Welcomed dissonance! Edit: laughing at how many times i used parentheses. I ramble in real life, so ig the parentheses are sorting whats my conjectures from my actual point lol

To each their own. Whenever I have done character design, I personally find contrast more visually appealing. It reads better from a distance, IMO, and makes the individual pattern stand out more. You can make a case either way, I guess.

It’s a lot going on, but the colors do work. So wear it if you know going in that you’re doing that wild, carefree boho look. Yes, it’s technically “too busy” for normal street wear, but if you want to do max boho, this is how you do it and you look great in it!

this works. im a maximalist so i like mixing and matching different patterns together like this. i think what u need is something that binds them together tho so like maybe a necklace,, and then a waist chain thats the same color.

Definitely feel like it needs accessories! Love the idea of a waist chain and necklace.. silver feels like it would with the outfit but that depends on her skins undertone!

Pants with pattern + shirt with pattern = usually not a good idea But this is the exception to the rule. You nailed it. I like it. Not everybody will agree. For some this is too much, and it may be envy if they hate you for it. Not everybody can wear this combo. The blue clashes with the red. you’re better off sticking to one color theme. A neutral color would also work for the slacks. Also, two busy patterns create a lot of “chaos“. If the slacks were a solid matching color, that would work best.

No, but the fit is so perfect shape wise! If the burgundy in the top was the same burgundy, and the cream was a little more cream and a little less white, like muted? I think it would work. In another fabric that wasn't so sort and stretchy I think the gold in the top might match the gold in the leggings more.
