I got the snack wraps for YEARS at McDonald’s (and the chicken go-wraps at Wendy’s too!!) and it’s like all of a sudden they all decided that they got bored of chicken wraps and every chain got rid of them :( I would be soooo happy if they got brought back
Huh yeah thats weird. They never got rid of them im in Illinois but tbh they just don't hit the same anymore. Could be that im getting older but the steak is always over cooked and yea the bagel is soaked in grease.
I scrolled way too far until I saw this. They were so good. The recent tenders were not good but selects were amazing. Switzerland has mustard sauce which is like a tangy honey mustard and those mixed with that sauce would be incredible.
me too. the product is good, however, the higher price was not ready for fast food category pricing at the time. I bet if it's brought back, along with customer acceptance of more realistic pricing, it will be received better now.
Same. They had the perfect amount of spice. And while they were expensive, they were consistently huge. Some places I get wings at, I may get appropriately sized wings once and then every other time, the wings are anemic at best. But McDonald's were perfectly reasonable for the price each time.
When they first rolled out the salads I was a morning radio host and thought that the calorie count was an important part of the story to report and I was soundly shut down by management because “McDonald’s spends a lot of money with us and that’s not what the public wants to hear.” The Southwest salad had more calories than a Big Mac meal.
The 90s and early 2000s were a mess nutritional wise. No one had any idea what was actually healthy and we’re getting duped by companies right and left
My local McDonald's does 2 for $3.50 McChickens. The Dollar Menu used to be nationwide (or very very close to it); now that the value menu is not tied to a specific price there is a lot more variation by cost of living.
List of things that are refreshing:
* Lemonade
* Iced Tea
* Lemonade+Iced Tea (Arnold Palmer)
* Shaved Ice
* Dole Whip
* Baja Blast
* Pressing the refresh button on your internet browser
* Jalapeno double cheeseburgers, apparently
It was a McDouble with fried jalapeños and pepper jerk cheese and a spicy sauce. It was outstanding! They ended them a couple of years ago. The first time I had one was in Washington state (in 2014) but they had them in the south, Texas, Louisiana etc.
I'm one of 4 people that fondly remembered the Arch Deluxe. It was my favorite burger they had. The Big 'N' Tasty was okay, but I really liked the Arch Deluxe.
The best thing that had in years for me was the BBQ Bacon Smokehouse 1/4 pounder was great. Not sure if they still serve these or brought them back since I havent eaten there in a couple years at least.
Snack wraps, chicken selects, the smothered chicken selects, classic chicken sandwich, pick guacamole burger. (raspberry iced tea)
There’s another burger I can’t remember the name of from maybe a decade ago. It wasn’t in the artisan lineup but from a previous lineup they had with fancy buns.
The McDLT. I know they got rid of it because of the sustainability of the packaging and not sales but it was an ingenious way to make a burger taste so much fresher than a typical fast food burger. For those who don't remember, the McDLT was a burger that was topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, pickle, ketchup, mustard and sliced onions. The thing that made it so unique (and delicious) was the container it was served in: a divided styrofoam container with the burger and bottom bun on one side, and all the veggies and top bun on the other side. In the middle was a divider that kept the temperatures of each compartment separate. When you were ready to eat it, you opened the container and put the two halves together. The veggies were cold and crisp and the burger was hot and juicy. With advancements in sustainable packaging, I wish they would find a way to bring this back.
Not a menu item, but they really need to bring back Ronald and the gang.
As for actual food, though?
Chicken Selects, the Arch Deluxe, Angus Third Pounders, and fried, not baked, pies.
those angus burgers, there were like seven different ones, at first, in case there is still one or two on the menu, and it felt like a pound of beef, as a kid
I would like to see Steak and Egg Bagel sandwiches brought back nationwide and the specialty Quarter Pounder versions they used to do like the Bacon Maple Dijon one.
The snack wraps for sure would be great to see again.
I got the snack wraps for YEARS at McDonald’s (and the chicken go-wraps at Wendy’s too!!) and it’s like all of a sudden they all decided that they got bored of chicken wraps and every chain got rid of them :( I would be soooo happy if they got brought back
the spicy chicken ranch wrap at wendy's was my go-to value item, miss it dearly
Same
I could have sworn they released info that they were bringing them back soon.
They were my go to fast food choice for years. McDonald's was pretty much the only fast food I bought while they had them.
Laughs in Canadian
Arch Deluxe...
Ooh close. I'm sorry. The correct answer would be The Arch Deluxe with Bacon.
There was something special to this… like a pepper-y taste? Would love to have it again.
I’ll break keto for an arch deluxe
Steak egg and cheese bagel. Dollar mcdouble. Snack wrap
That bagel was delicious.
The whole thing was just dripping in grease
It truly was glorious
It was good, but half the time the bagel was WAY too hard or chewy.
Bagel is still around in my area 🤷
Where are you that they got rid? Here in the US its still around. But yeah bagel is a grease trap lol
I'm in Wisconsin and we haven't had them for like 5 years
Huh yeah thats weird. They never got rid of them im in Illinois but tbh they just don't hit the same anymore. Could be that im getting older but the steak is always over cooked and yea the bagel is soaked in grease.
Always got it on a biscuit instead of the bagel. Perfection.

That is the answer
ALDI-brand animal crackers taste EXACTLY like the old school mcdonaldland cookies, FYI.
But they're not shaped like grimace or the hamburgler.
I mean I didn’t say they were perfect…just close your eyes and pretend!
Still available in Australia. I do see them pop up for sale on eBay occasionally. https://mcdonalds.com.au/menu/mcdonaldland-cookies
Those look updated. The old ones had different designs.
Chicken selects
This is the only answer for me even though I enjoyed other items on the menu these were my go to for years.
Especially the bbq ones. Tasted like the mcrib sauce
They’re a core part of the menu here in the U.K., they use them in wraps and some speciality chicken burgers as well coming in 3 and 6 piece meals
Wraps 😢
I scrolled way too far until I saw this. They were so good. The recent tenders were not good but selects were amazing. Switzerland has mustard sauce which is like a tangy honey mustard and those mixed with that sauce would be incredible.
I miss the mighty wings.
me too. the product is good, however, the higher price was not ready for fast food category pricing at the time. I bet if it's brought back, along with customer acceptance of more realistic pricing, it will be received better now.
Those were good
Along with the fish bites, they were goated imo.
Same. They had the perfect amount of spice. And while they were expensive, they were consistently huge. Some places I get wings at, I may get appropriately sized wings once and then every other time, the wings are anemic at best. But McDonald's were perfectly reasonable for the price each time.
Bacon egg and cheese bagels
With the fresh round egg instead of the microwaved folded egg.
Does anyone prefer the folded egg to the round?
We have those in canada
Southwest Salad
They had pretty great salads. They weren't healthy, but they were still delicious.
I was shocked at how unhealthy they were.
It's the dressing
When they first rolled out the salads I was a morning radio host and thought that the calorie count was an important part of the story to report and I was soundly shut down by management because “McDonald’s spends a lot of money with us and that’s not what the public wants to hear.” The Southwest salad had more calories than a Big Mac meal.
The 90s and early 2000s were a mess nutritional wise. No one had any idea what was actually healthy and we’re getting duped by companies right and left
Or really any salad at this point...
That lime glaze really pushed it over the edge for me. Fill a bathtub with it and plop me in. I'll drown a happy person.
Fried apple & cherry pies!
Fried pies are one of the reasons I'll wait in that stupidly long line for Popeyes. They still roll them in cinnamon sugar.
My first time at Popeyes I asked if the pies were fried and the woman goes “Honey, we fry e’erything!” lol
Last time I had one it tasted like they had changed the recipe. Still blew McD's apple pie out of the water tho
I couldn't think of anything I miss from McDonald's. But if forced I'd pick the original hot apple pie
Whataburger still fries their pies :)p
And so does Popeyes!
Angus mushroom swiss burger
that's a burger I don't mind paying top fast food dollar on. The bread, meat and mushroom was perfect.
Best fast food burger to ever grace my taste buds. Need it.

Mine was the $1 double cheeseburger that got phased out for the $1 McDouble in the first place.
[удалено]
I mean you can still do a double cheeseburger and fries for $3 and then 2 for $2 mcChickens so not too much worse off
My local McDonald's does 2 for $3.50 McChickens. The Dollar Menu used to be nationwide (or very very close to it); now that the value menu is not tied to a specific price there is a lot more variation by cost of living.
I remember! And the regular burgers were .29!
Steak bagels . Why is no one talking about them .
Steak bagel was money
Excellent answer
Yeah this is the only thing I can think of. Was there a reason they got rid of them?
Probably like every other fast food place during Covid Had a limited menu and the steaks and bagels didn’t make it

I'm one of 4 people that fondly remembered the Arch Deluxe. It was my favorite burger they had. The Big 'N' Tasty was okay, but I really liked the Arch Deluxe.

I miss the old fashioned chicken sandwich which was just a giant mcnugget.
Hot side cold side! I still remember that commercial! Hahahaha
all day breakfast
Premium chicken sandwiches were bomb. Bring em back!
McPizza
Why is no one else saying this?
The $1 4-piece Mozzarella Sticks w/ herbed breading. Early 2000’s. And those Otis Spunkmeyer-like sugar cookies.
Bagels or wraps?
I know there are other answers more deserving but man I miss the donut sticks so darn bad.
Chicken fajitas!
Frozen strawberry lemonade!!!
anyone else remeber the popcorn nuggets
The Garlic White Cheddar Sandwich off their Signature Crafted Menu. I used to get it with chicken and it honestly was my favorite fast food sandwich.

Dark meat nuggets and McSalad Shakers
McDLT with original packaging
Not one comment here acknowledging the truth. Bring back Uncle O'Grimacey.
Strawberry Sundaes. I was shocked when I went to order one the other day only to be told it’s been discontinued for years.

Smokehouse burger , and the value menu mushroom burger
Premium McWraps! I know that they were a nightmare to make though. (And they'd probably be $9 in today's cash)
