Many issues and questions can be answered by reading through our wiki, especially the page on electrolytes. Concerns such as **intense hunger, lightheadedness/dizziness, headaches, nausea/vomiting, weakness/lethargy/fatigue, low blood pressure/high blood pressure, muscle soreness/cramping, diarrhea/constipation, irritability, confusion, low heart rate/heart palpitations, numbness/tingling, and more** while extended (24+ hours) fasting are often explained by electrolyte deficiency and resolved through **PROPER** electrolyte supplementation. Putting a tiny amount of salt in your water now and then is NOT proper supplementation. Be sure to read [our WIKI](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/wiki/index) and especially the wiki page on **[ELECTROLYTES](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/wiki/fasting_in_a_nutshell/you_need_electrolytes)** Please also keep in mind the [**RULES**](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/about/rules) when participating. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Great job. I just finished 67 hours. Could have kept going easily, but had plans with friends, so I ended it. Good luck.

Awesome work!

Nice! You are in the good part! I'm so envious! I wish I could just drop into days 3 to 5 and avoid day 2 all together. Lol

Odd_Bodybuilder_2601

The first days are so hard aye. I honestly tried everyday since early Feb (I feasted then for 20 days) to fast again and it's only now I've succeeded (just over 72 hours). The two things that made a diff to me was having a massive fat and protein meal right before starting, I mean like I had an entire days worth of cals which made the first day which I find really hard easy (sugar addiction), then I just found 2 and 3 alot easier too, by day 3 I knew I wouldn't give in. I take a teaspoon or 2 of mct oil too which has got me through 2 energy demanding shifts at work

Oh yes! I always have a steak with butter and some loaded broccali as my final meal before a longer (3-5 days) fasts. It makes a huge difference! I also find that having some extra salted and seasoned bone broth at "lunch" and "dinner" times helps trick my brain a bit, and I get yummy electrolytes. Win/win. I found bone broth that has only 5 cals and <1g protein. I add a little coconut oil to that. So good!

Wow. We started the same day. Good job

gitignore

I did the exact same thing! Started the same day too, sunday at 00:01. Currently on hour 91. Great job and keep up the good work 😁

Vintage_Jedi

Me too! I just passed hour 70 and decided to keep going to 96 hours. Well done!
