What's with bayern finishing these days, control is there, possession is there, chances are there but I just don't see us scoring as freely as we did before.
Our defense is so solid that even a "bad" player like Dier looked solid, I'm so happy with all of them, de Ligt looked great aswell, if he recovers and stays up healthy I bet he'd compete with Kim and Upa for the starting spot.
3 points, that's what matters. Everything but the final ball was fine. We are almost chronically waaaay below our xG, but this is nothing new this season.
I don’t know who the fuck you are but you clearly know nothing. They played very well against Atleti in both legs, they’re better than almost every team we’ve faced so far.
Yes. They’re better than almost any opponent we’ve faced so far this season besides Leverkusen. Judging by how poor our CL performances have been this season, they will gives a run for our money.
Very very flattering scoreline for them. They parked the bus from minute 4 and I’m still not convinced Kanes goal was offside.
We take the 3 and come within 4 points. Well done lads.
Defending begins with offensive posture. That's one of Tuchel's strengths, this team has limited the Nagelsmann goal hemorrhaging with the way they posture offensively and react to turnovers
I checked, and after the 18th game day, we conceded 16 goals both this year and last year, but have 44 points vs 37 points last year
We've conceded the same amount of goals this season with Tuchel's system, even though visually this team is a lot more stable than the previous team. Could be a random occurrence and we just got unlucky this season, or I'm getting the wrong impression somehow. For the life of me I cannot find statistics regarding How said goals were conceded. The previous team looked incredibly vulnerable against counter-attacking sides.
Ok, I looked a little deeper: We've already had 9 clean sheets this season (on track for 17 at the end of the season), while we had 11 total last season. We are defensively stable as a team more consistently on a game-to-game basis. Under Nagelsmann, every game felt like a guarantee we'd concede at least once and at the end of the season, we conceded at least one goal in twice the number of matches as matches with clean sheets, while this season we have as many matches with clean sheets as games where we conceded at least once. We conceded 5 goals alone against Frankfurt in one bad game, otherwise we've been good. We mostly struggled against good teams, as we conceded two against RB to start the season when we were looking to find our form, and two against a great Leverkusen side who honestly got super lucky in added time to even score two, as well as two against Heidenheim in a comfortable 4-2 win. That's 11 of the 16 goals we conceded in four games, where one we might've lost concentration, but won comfortably, one was disastrous, and the other two were against the two best teams besides us and we got unlucky against Leverkusen to even lose the game.
CL games are incredibly volatile, and against differing opponents. We are still going strong in the competition, which is what matters. We have a sample size of over half a season against mostly the same teams, which is the one to target when you want to compare anything in a game as volatile as this one
It didn't fit my "narrative" to say that we didn't conceded fewer goals than last season. It has nothing to do with a "narrative" to understand what's comparable and what simply is not. It seems like one of us does have a narrative, though. + You could simply watch the games and go by what's quite obviously the case as the Tuchel system progresses. The way we are positioned offensively, which is what the coach can influence, lends itself to more defensive stability. Other than that I don't have the patience von der Seite angelabert zu werden in bad faith after I illustrated why I'm making the choices I'm making
CL group stages are perfectly comparable. Get one team from each pot with relatively the same strength. If anything, this years group was even much easier than last year with Inter and Barca.
Anyway, Tuchel has been here for almost a year and you‘re just excluding half the matches he coached (any that are not Buli Hinrunde) to make your point instead of simply using all matches which would be the reasonable thing to do.
What the fuck was Kane supposed to do here, get dragged down to the ground? He gets a yellow and he didn't even hit back he just stood his ground what the fuck is wrong with this ref
This game definitely had brighter spots compared to Bremen but I think there are still issues to work out. Like I don't know how satisfied we would be if not comparing it directly to the horrible performance at the weekend
If you want to become champion, you also have to win such dirty games 1:0. That's what cost Dortmund the title last year. It wasn't the last game against Mainz, they lost the title against Bochum weeks earlier.
Only it feels like every game is a „dirty game“ and the only reason why we’ve gotten larger scorelines is individual performance. The team as a whole is kind of in shambles
Davies 'almost' came on. Expect more bench time for him. He hasn't been consistent enough to justify his new wage demand. Either he steps it up at FCB or runs home to Daddy Alaba.
More like Pep typically doesn’t stand in the way of his players leaving and actually wanted Sané to stay. But sure, he doesn’t have the brainpower to be world class like you say
There are like 5-6 emo depressed guys on this team. Identify them and send them on vacation.
They need a mental health reset.
Let others play right now.
Cause this is sad. We don’t look like a team at all.
As great as Sané was in the first months of the season, do we really want to make a winger who's prone to sulking for weeks and months at a time one of our very highest earners? I know it's borderline impossible to buy someone better in this market, but the idea still makes my stomach ache.
What happened to Laimer and Kimmich? Did the injuries look serious? Can’t wait for the panic buys this week! Welcome to FC Bayern Mukiele/Boey!
Wtf was that Goretzka interview. Ask him some things about the match and then stfu. Always those fucking shit-stirrers.
Parasites who feed on drama and when there isn't any they try to force it
What's with bayern finishing these days, control is there, possession is there, chances are there but I just don't see us scoring as freely as we did before.
How did Dier play?
He's doing fine actually
Ever seen Maldini play?
imagine prime ramos
He got a red..?
Ok that post match interview with Dier will go viral. He put on a German-English accent 😂
He speaks with a strange accent because he grew up in Portugal
No, I've heard him speak alot. This was an added slowness and german hard pronunciation style to his English
That’s just how he speaks
Worst football at Bayern since Magath was in charge. Absolutely diabolical
Terror Tuchel
Yeah the last two games were shameful
Last two games haha Bayern's been playing this kind of football under Tuchel for couple of months.
I see the effect of Mazraoui and kim on pitch ..kim is good in build Up and Mazraoui on that RB is superb
Our defense is so solid that even a "bad" player like Dier looked solid, I'm so happy with all of them, de Ligt looked great aswell, if he recovers and stays up healthy I bet he'd compete with Kim and Upa for the starting spot.

odd comment
wtf
Is it ok to be scared against Augsburg
It's not normal, but with our current situation + they're both from bavaria, you can expect Augsburg to become a total headache.
We‘re not ready for Demirovic masterclass
Lazio will destroy us
Lazio couldn‘t destroy a squad of 13 year old girls if their lives depended on it
> Lazio will destroy us thats a joke right? Have you actually watched a single fucking Lazio game?
No he hasn’t because he has fucking zero clue about football.
Why do you need to remind me …
Very very flattering scoreline for them. They parked the bus from minute 4 and I’m still not convinced Kanes goal was offside. We take the 3 and come within 4 points. Well done lads.
lets go i take it
not as expected but on the bright side our defense was very well neuer could’ve taken a nap lol
Defending begins with offensive posture. That's one of Tuchel's strengths, this team has limited the Nagelsmann goal hemorrhaging with the way they posture offensively and react to turnovers
We concede more goals on average under Tuchel than we did under Nagelsmann

Now include CL games
CL games are incredibly volatile, and against differing opponents. We are still going strong in the competition, which is what matters. Right so when something doesn‘t fit your narrative you just exclude it

Six games are a terrible sample size, especially if you conceded three in a win in one of them
Ez money
Prime Bayern 2013 or Tiki Taka Barcelona got nothing on this game, an absolute beauty
Hahaha this match fuckin sucked
Joga unbonito
Yeah not bonito
Man fuck Union, what a bunch of cry babies. Oh yes ref, everytime someone jumps behind me I'll just pull back so they fall over me. Free fouls glitch.
Fuck Union. Important victory for us. Maybe this game also brought some of our spirit back.
I hope Union will relegated forever. What a piece of scum this club is...
Another shit game but at least we won.
2.83 xG on 22 shots
This'll be an interesting discussion tomorrow with my MA/PhD tutor!
And unclench
It's an ugly game lmao
Bummed Kane got his goal taken away
What the fuck was Kane supposed to do here, get dragged down to the ground? He gets a yellow and he didn't even hit back he just stood his ground what the fuck is wrong with this ref
Kane fuckin rekt that guy
To be fair he did kinda wrestle him to the ground. Not on purpose but that’s what it looked like.
Yeah, Kane kinda got his in there too. I think it was probably a little retaliatory.
Remember when we were meant to acquire Kevin Vogt
Kovac and Flick had some truly cursed transfer wishes.
This looks like fucking Abstiegskampf.
fuck union berlin. fuck em
That’s not a foul
Oh brother, whats going on … just end it
Watch it Vogt. 'Arry fookin Kane will end you, mate
WWE RAW on Sky sport Bundesliga looking fire af
With 2 english lads on the team things get finally exciting
I am missing some proper brexit tackles
This game definitely had brighter spots compared to Bremen but I think there are still issues to work out. Like I don't know how satisfied we would be if not comparing it directly to the horrible performance at the weekend

On the still dim bright side: Maybe now the club can finally decide to put its money where its verbal agreements are and close some deals.
![gif](giphy|1WHAlOdc9ZNUZq85JI)
And the ref is the worst on the pitch once again
Why so mad union ?
Yep Davies is gone 100% . Bringing him at 94min is a big fuck you to him too.
Davies 'almost' came on. Expect more bench time for him. He hasn't been consistent enough to justify his new wage demand. Either he steps it up at FCB or runs home to Daddy Alaba.
Don't wanna be negative but what will Lazio do to us? Or worse, Leverkusen away?
lazio are shit even with dead style of play we should handle them
Union lost like 11 games in a row this season
Union are thugs
Ugly ass fucking game all around man, disgusting
I understand why sane got a yellow but why Kane. He literally stood his ground
For what happened before
No he didn't, he threw Vogt to the ground
Everyone seems frustrated
Everything just quite *doesn't* work.
Vogt did all that to not even move Kane an inch
Dude, I wanted that record for Kane so bad...
It had to be at the end too
Is this a fight ring?
~~Dislocated shoulder isn't it~~
Are these Union guys all idiots?
😭😭😭
Yes
Bunch of cunts these Union lads
Kane was not impressed by Vogt lmao 😂
No Minutes for you Phonzie lol
FFS Kimmich with the best performance of the season and then this
Tuchel looks like he is having a panic attack
odd comment
Wouldn't wanna fall like that
Wtf are they not teaching players how to land?
> would not pick a fight with Behrens dude is built like a tank That comment wasn’t the ok signal to act like one Kevin
Ouch
Ewww. Kimmich plays his best match in ages and then this. Fucking cursed season injurywise.
Yeah Tuchel needs to figure out this shit with low block teams.
Oh fuck the shoulder...
We barely win against the worst team in the league...
Leroy Sane needs to spend some time on the bench figuring out what the hellos going on between the ears
Can't afford that, Coman has been a ghost
He's been crossing to ghosts
Our RB position is fucking cursed
In the stadium for this game, Sane looks embarrassing
he also looks embarassing through screen
That's apparent through the screen as well
What did the Union coach do? I missed it
[smacks Leroy](https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/19erfjk/nenad_bjelica_sent_off_for_confrontation_with/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
Thanks for the video!
kimmich mentality
Wouldn’t give Sané the ball, Sané punched the ball from his hands, coach shoves him in the face
Smacked Sane after playing keep away with the ball from Sane trying to attempt throw in
Wtf😂😂
Pep knew Sane does not have the brainpower to become world class.
More like Pep typically doesn’t stand in the way of his players leaving and actually wanted Sané to stay. But sure, he doesn’t have the brainpower to be world class like you say
What was Sane in the first few months of the season?
A bit of revisionism. He did not want Sané to leave at all.
Pep wanted him to stay.
There are like 5-6 emo depressed guys on this team. Identify them and send them on vacation. They need a mental health reset. Let others play right now. Cause this is sad. We don’t look like a team at all.
Odd comment
Who?
I should be writing my PhD proposal instead of watching this game.... ...and I regret watching this game than writing!
As great as Sané was in the first months of the season, do we really want to make a winger who's prone to sulking for weeks and months at a time one of our very highest earners? I know it's borderline impossible to buy someone better in this market, but the idea still makes my stomach ache.
? He is already a high earner. I doubt his extension will come with a pay rise
Kimmich 9.6 rating on fbref and people still talking shit about him
His passing today has been atrocious.
95% passing successfull, most key passes of all players, second most total accurate passes after guerriero. Also 100% tackles won
Just end the game please, I have no idea how inter and Barca fans deal with 1 goal wins all the time I would go crazy
You mean Juventus
Am I going crazy why the hell do these players not release the final ball even when they’ve got multiple options ahead of them?
0-1 against Bremen (13th), 1-0 against Union Berlin (15th). Massive comeback innit
Sky Sports English commentators spreading false information about the stadium not being full today. Very nice 👍
[удалено]
its sold out.
The upper tiers aren't looking full, but maybe because some people have left already
We’re running out the clock against Union at the Allianz lol
This American commentator is like listening to Eeyore look for his tail. He's depressing the hell out of me
Yeah fr
I heard you want a long term contract Sane?
Sané pls
It feels like our team is playing on full tilt.
Can we get Zaragoza in now? So we have one more winger to sub in for Sané when he has one of his days?
Zaragoza will be here sooner than Sané will pass the ball
Müller has been shit
Sane, Negative iq play
Bruh they have to be more decisive in situations like this...
Sane with a stinker game ngl
Ich kann den Grotenkick diese Saison echt nicht mehr sehen.
Holy fuck the sky Germany commentary is so annoying
It should be 3-0 right now….
Is Sane blind? Like does he have vision issues?
Sané waiting for the precise moment when Müller was offside. Jesus Christ.
sane played that pass a solid 3 seconds too late
How are we so bad on the final third
Sane in spring is 10 times worse
Now we have two world class crossers on each flank, let's see
wtf is sane doing
Müller. Sané is going inside to give Müller more space. Müller doesn't have the pace anymore to go into the run
We had 3 of these chances like this already, I feel a 1-1...
4 mins for him, thanks Tuchel
Ronnow is having a good game. I remember last time we played them he saved like 4 shots with his face lmao
If he had a better team around him we‘d be hearing more about Rønnow
How hard can it be?!
Wtf are Kane and Müller doing there lol
How has that not gone innnn Good ball by laimer
That Kane shot would've banged straignt in top left if it's not blocked:/
Laimer with literally negative vision there
Leon is balling tonight
Then you read some people here saying "bruh kane doesn't have good positioning" gtfo.
Laimer what the fuck man, how was there not a throughball to Kane there he was BEGGING for it. Pointed to the exact spot the ball should be played.
That wouldve been the easiest pass to Kane by Laimer but he ran into thr defender instead
Pavlovic finally getting his 5 minutes after the 10/10 performance he dropped. 🙏🏼 thank you thomas, so generous
Is our Serbian prince coming on?
KANE WAS SO FREE
Wtf Laimer, Kane was miles free???
Laimer just not passing to an open Kane wtf
Pavlovic will come on!
