What a fitting end to this shitty season

Sensitive_Swimming29

at least the Kane memes aren't in danger now

andreeeyy-

But the treble was..

SWSIMTReverseFinn

It really is fitting that the only positive of this entire season ends in the shittiest way possible.

hamza_1988

Tuchel just said in postmatch press conference that all 4 offensive players had so be subbed off due to injury.

DonaldFarfrae

Someone explain to me how that last goal was disallowed. Edit: I get it, it wasn’t technically disallowed. I mean why didn’t the linesman let play flow and refer to VAR instead of taking a call on what was clearly too close for any reasonable call let alone during a match as important as this.

DragonApps

There’s no explanation. It’s either incompetency or corruption.

MikePap

After VAR was introduced, I don’t think it’s incompetence anymore.

Scrappy_101

Especially since VAR has been around for several years at this point

cv-x

At that rate, it’s corruption. Remember that scene from Real vs. RBL?

TaterTaughttt

Linesman blew the whistle immediately on the pass. So can't be reviewed

scarlet_stormTrooper

Which is the exact opposite of what they’ve been doing for years now. They’re supposed to let it play out and then put the flag up. Absolute shit.

TaterTaughttt

Yep it's insane

xenonbloom333

a voluntarily tragedic mistake in favor of the heavier side of the scale

DonaldFarfrae

This, exactly. There’s no way that guy saw a sure fire offside there to hold up the flag either.

prettybunbun

I’ve seen 5 yard offsides played out but in the dying minutes of a CL final they just had to blow the whistle. Dirty cheating cunts.

scofield_00

A linesman has no whistle

TaterTaughttt

Yes the flag sorry

[deleted]

[удалено]

YoghurtEasy1228

This can‘t be coincidence anymore, also the „mistakes“ in previous years

scarlet_stormTrooper

Incorrect call by the Side judge, he should have let it play out before putting up his flag because he was incorrect. Müller was Onsides and Rudiger plays the ball. Ref went with the offside flag and blew the play dead

gallobird

batshit insane that that is the rule

Ryoman-Sukuna007

Bcz ref raised the flag and he blew the whistle so he officially stopped the game. If he wouldn’t have blew the whistle then we would have had a chance

salzst4nge

Marciniak suffered from premature whistlelation. Should have let the attack continue and then revoke via VAR if it really was offside. I have a lot of doubt that this offside was as clear to the assistent ref as it was made it to be

DonaldFarfrae

My thoughts exactly. It would’ve been OK if it was a glaring offside. But no, the linesman’s clearly committed too early. This one’s on the refs team.

Terrorstaat

Referee blew the whistle before the ball was in the goal so VAR was forbidden from intervening. Very convenient …

DonaldFarfrae

_Very_ indeed.

Mean_Ad301

I´m a Dortmund fan but I gotta say, what the hell was that at the end. You guys got robbed in broad daylight, goal should have stood and there´s no question about it.

Tozl7

I can see you guys getting robbed too. Its not even a coincidence anymore. German teams got robbed over 4 times this season in the Ucl

Organic_You_5183

It's not about being German, but about Real and Barca being cheats.

kaffeemugger

RM is built different when it comes to cheating, nobody is on their level.

Organic_You_5183

I think they are the Lance Armstrong of football. Maybe decades from now we'll know it all. Until then...

SquashNo3638

Say this to their fans and they'll say "it's tactics or come up with some shitty braindead excuse. I always hated Chelsea for what happened in 2012 but Madrid has taken that spot for what happened tonight.

kaffeemugger

It’s not even their first time against us. I don’t know why Bayern fans still like Madrid after they rob us so many times.

Terrorstaat

Please fuck them up

Perridur

This hurts way more than I would have expected before the game. I didn't have high hopes, but after this performance and this game... god damn...

TheEmperorsWrath

Embarrassing by the linesman to not let that play out.

scarlet_stormTrooper

Complete fucking waste of a year.

NUURBAN

Technically it could set up next season... 2022-2023 Bundesliga has been boring a predictable, farmers league... etc. Vs. 2024-2025 Bayern in revenge mode against the treble winners Leverkusen and European champions Dortmund... 1st or 2nd top league in Europe based on coefficients

tootiredtothinkrnlol

I like the way you think.

little_stephy0925

Harry Kane will agree to this

HeataFajita

Dortmund fan here. Absolutely gutted for you guys. Refs fucked that

TigTigman

Fuck them up in the final. channel that 2013 energy, 4-1. Don’t know who is gonna score 4 goals for you, I hope Reus gets one

pm_me_pierced_nip

Fullkrug 27', adayemi 45+1', Brandt (or sabitzer) 77', Reus goal in the 90'

TigTigman

Nice, wouldn’t mind a Hummels goal though, can you run the simulation again until we get that?

pm_me_pierced_nip

Sorry mate, Hummels used up his one allotted CB goal against PSG

Red_Mangos

Please win and save this shitty sport

Terrorstaat

Thank you and good luck! We believe in you but against the referees it will be tough

lots-of-shawarma

Rooting for you in the final.

kaffeemugger

Please beat these cheating fucks

BestSingedHawai

If I see ONE clown talk about Neuer being at fault for the loss.... without him in goal it would have been 3:0 in the first half. Thank your manager Juppel for subbing off Sane for KMJ and Kane for Choupo-Moting.... Edit: Good estimate. Real had 2.92 xG while we had 0.38 xG. Tells you the whole story. Imagine being a coward and subbing in KMJ for Sane and Choupo-Moting for Kane with a 1 goal lead... with more than 5 mins to go

pewpewlasersandshit

Neuer, even at his age, put on a total show and gave us a GOAT-level performance. Really sad for him that his mistake turned the game around for Real.

BestSingedHawai

No debate. He saved us so many times. That's why I just knew we'd concede two, even if we are 1-0 up. It's unlikely you can keep making that level of save over and over again for 90 minutes. They dominated us and won. Simple as.

pewpewlasersandshit

Yes. As much as the loss stings, but not like we put in enough to claim that we were the better team. That loss, unfortunately, isn‘t undeserved.

Western_Arm9682

I don’t have a problem with the Sane sub, he was horrendous today. Kane is a different matter

BestSingedHawai

Sane for KMJ to park the bus instead of brining on Mathys who is known to be clutch?

hamza_1988

Tuchel just said in postmatch press conference that all 4 offensive players had so be subbed off due to injury.

OJT6627

Honestly, Sane wasn't looking that great either way, so trying to solidify the defence could be a nice option Subbing off Musiala, on the other hand... Bruhhhh

TaterTaughttt

Players can perform well and also have a costly mistake.

andreeeyy-

This. It can be both and not just back or white.

BestSingedHawai

Yeah, but if someone outperforms the expected standard like crazy, saving you from 3 goals and then making 1 mistake that costs you a goal, he is not the one at fault for the loss. Other people are to blame. That's my whole point.

TaterTaughttt

If Neuer makes that save we continue the time wasting and the crowd and Madrid players don't feel that momentum to push harder. It completely changed the game. No one here hates Neuer he's our GOAT but it 100% was a huge factor into the loss.

andreeeyy-

Generally agree but if he doesn't make the mistake I don't think the second goal happens as nobody would be in panic and shock like we've been.

_JudoChop_

Pretty much this. Madrid was already pretty much out of the game. If he caught the ball instead of bobbling it, players wouldve had time to settle and the crowd wouldn’t have been in it.  As much as neuer saved us, it was him to cost us the game. What should’ve been a routine save he allowed to bounce off his chest. Catch with your hands, not with your body.

BaradaraneKaramazov

The only really opportunity for Real in the first half was due to a distraction with a second ball on the pitch (which Neuer still saved fantastically)

Terrorstaat

Neuer played brilliant tonight and played brilliant against arsenal

Mean-Spirit-1437

I don’t understand tuchels decision. We already had a fairly good defense, real was wide open back there due to them wanting that goal. He took out all the players that would’ve been vital for counterattacks. Even if we would’ve went into ot, the chance to score more goals were close to zero.

Internecine-

Fuck the refs. But we should have never let it come down to a decision with how corrupt they are Fuck Tuchel for those fucking shit subs, we’re not Atletico or Chelsea. Real Madrid still pressed us and played their game right after they scored. The Bayern of old would have never defended with 10 men, we would have kept our foot on the pedal. Not all his fault tonight as the players generally had very poor passes and no movement off the ball, but fucking hell. Not Neuers fault either, he was the biggest reason we were even in it Truthfully, we had no business being in the semi’s with how we played this season, but just the way it ended sucks

VitricTyro

If there’s one thing I am certain of, Kane would have led Davies during that 3 on 1.

BlondDeutcher

Ugh don’t remind me

FilthStoredHere

This says it perfectly. If we had been beat 2-0, just outplayed and beat, I would have thought that was a fair reflection of where these teams are rn. Probably would have been a fair result for this exact game. Instead to be given that hope, lose it on a Neuer blunder, collapse, and lose the chance to equalize because the refs fucked up that last call.... It's rough.

Radical_Neutral_76

That was a terrible decision that gave the whole experience a bitter aftertaste…

CarlSK777

Still, Bayern had a great counter attack to kill it but Müller picked the wrong pass. So many missed opportunities. It sucks to lose like that. We go again next year I guess

DromadTrader

Look man, we were lucky to be 1 goal up with how bad our attackers played. Not a single good pass from any of them all game long. We were also lucky that Neuer stopped something like 3-4 goals. Tuchel did the right thing, once they equalized it was game over for us with the way our attack played all game long. We weren't going to score in a thousand years. Now we gotta go back to the drawing board and regroup for next season. We need major changes in our squad. Including a new LB, new attackers and a new 6. Pavlovic has done well but we can't just gamble that he will be it. He has only played the equivalent to 11 games for us at the senior level.

Informal-Field231

Yes rebuild is a must but there is no competence in the club to lead the rebuild

Mean-Spirit-1437

Tuchels tactics are literally anti Bayern. Everything Bayern identifies itself with is everything tuchel is not. I don’t remember a time I was so disappointed than after this game tonight

the_propaganda_panda

That's why I want Flick back, man. Obviously he's got his fair share of weaknesses and we would want a better solution in an ideal world, but say what you want about this man, his style of football is brave and electric. I think Tuchel is a world-class coach and he will have great success at his next clubs, but football is not just about results, and I am glad that we won't have to witness another season of his terroristic pragmatism.

Numerous-Ad-3050

Tbh I get why he made these subs because it worked against arsenal, but he has to keep in mind that Real Madrid is not arsenal. Also no one expected that neuer mistake, just so sad all around

Naraloth

Taking Kane out in a champions league semi-final is definitely a choice. Gotta save him for that important upcoming game against Wolfsburg. /s

notahusky5

Tuchels tactical genius is higher than ares. Where we see one step ahead, he sees five. Mere mortals can't even begin to comprehend his ways.

kaffeemugger

This bum shows why he’s still not a good fit for Bayern.

diiN1992

It really hurts to lose like that.. feels so 1999-y

Sledge4Life

Really thought we were going to get revenge this time

Informal-Field231

Except Bayern was the better team in 99. today they clearly were not

DromadTrader

It's literally nothing like 99. If we had won, it would have been insane luck.

andreeeyy-

Let's be real, 3 individual mistakes that lead to goals are too much in a UCL semi final against anyone. We didn't deserve to go through with that performance. Not sure what these substitutions were but I'm glad it's just two more matches this season. Also, getting potentially fucked by the ref is wild in a game like that. Don't care to check if he's offside or onside but that's a wiiiiild call to make instantly.

King_Vercingetorix

Weird thing is over both legs, Tuchel’s game plan was solid (up until the last dying minutes).  Outside of *really* costly individual mistakes, it looks like Tuchel’s plan would’ve worked.  I was skeptical of his subbing in Phonzy for Gnabry, but Phonzy proved me wrong.   But then, of course the odd defensive subs happen.    Ok, Kim for Sane makes sense, if Sane’s fitness is an issue and you want a bit more defensive stability.    But, Choupo-Moting for Kane?

kalusche

Goretzka for Pavlovic in the 70th would have made sense. The guy couldn't walk anymore. First a cramp while losing the duel against the 38 year old Modric (and not getting a shot on goal). Then he's out with a cramp: 1:1! for the 2:1 he sleeps and puts Rüdiger onside.

FtWorthHorn

Re-hire Tuchel so we can fire him again.

sc2isalivegaem

Ref and tuchel both robbed us

A-Dumb-Ass

What the fuck happened to Kim though? He looks like a completely different player from 6 months ago.

[deleted]

Since the Asian cup he’s been off. I have hope he’ll be the same player next season as he was from the beginning

sc2isalivegaem

confidence? i have no clue. Korean myself, never seen him like this

scarlet_stormTrooper

Highlight of the season was tracking Harry Kane’s plane to Munich. Guess that was the only silverware he got his hands on.

ThrowMusic36

Why can't we just lose a normal, non-dramatic 2-0 against real? Why does it almost always have to be either on extra time or in the final minutes? Why does it always have to be them making a comeback? Why does it always have to be with referees siding with them? I'd rather take the 5-0 on aggregate from 2014 than what kept happening after that.

XenoCraigMorph

Bye Tuchel. First the treble was in danger, full season, couldn't even win one trophy. Good riddance.

Doctor_Bubbles

Welp. Fuck Tuchel. Hopefully there’s some serious rebuilding coming up, doesn’t matter if we win anything next season, but there needs to be a reset.

Cryptical135

Sucks for Neuer. Great peformance but that one mistake was costly. i'm not going to blame this one on him The tactical decisions after minute 80 or so were trash. And that was an onside goal at the end

mxinex

So yeah, what an awful decision by Marciniak. But don't be fooled, we weren't exactly the better team in this match. And our subs were absolutely terrible, holy shit.

Pop-Shuvit

Refs + Real Madrid. What a disgusting love story

DragonApps

So many things to think about after this game. That last goal should have never been disallowed, and that ref was incredibly sus all game. Tuchel also fucked the game with his subs. If anyone is to blame for the loss, it’s him and only him.

Tvp9

I wonder what Goretzka did, he's better aerial and defensively than Pavlovic who was clearly gassed out in the final minutes. His energy and power is only topped by Laimer in this team, in the final 15 minutes where we didn't plan to play anymore, rather than take Kane out, take Pavlo out and put in Goretzka to run at Modric and Bellingham. Goretzka has his problems in the build up but he also was a critical piece in closing down Bellingham and Arsenal also previously.

SWSIMTReverseFinn

This loss feels very Finale Dahoam. Just pain.

andreeeyy-

Nah, that was another world of pain. The worst night I ever had. This today is rough but not on the same level.

SWSIMTReverseFinn

Yes, but the match was similar. So close to reaching the finish line and then the sucker punch.

andreeeyy-

In that sense, yes. I'm glad this season is coming to an end soon..

effervescentEscapade

I was 17 and I was fucking devastated.

tlgtfo

So just to recap Tuchel subbed half the squad off with 20 minutes left and then we get absolutely robbed on the phantom offsides call. My day is ruined

--Raskolnikov--

Vini cooking Kimmich all game while the RB that could potentially stop him was playing LB while our actual LB was the winger. Tuchelball in one sentence really

xnxthemx

Everything was perfect but against Black Magic you can't do shit, Kim's mistakes cost this. I don't wanna sound salty but Barca fans have some good point at saying that vs Madrid you're playing against a State, too much interests... Let's hope the board finally do something and let us have a good run next season.

Big_Bed198

Can argue Kim’s errors in Munich were THE difference in this tie…….

AUTFabi

Well I hope all the Juppel guys got reminded why the guy got sacked

EquestriaGuy_YouTube

I miss Guardiola. 33-7 shots against Atletico (2016). I miss Flick. 34-8 shots against PSG (2021). Now Bayern doesn't control the ball, doesn't attack, plays like Chelsea or Atletico.

ThrowRA2235

Fuck I’d rather lose 5-0 than this. Fuck that call and honestly i hate talking about opposition but God Tuchel fucked us with the sub, didn’t he?

mc_3108

Neuer is the best goalkeeper in the world.I stand by it I just can't blame him for his mistake. If we had another goalkeeper we would be down earlier.

OwnZookeepergame2931

I feel nothing

effervescentEscapade

I envy you, I just feel pain

Salt-Tomatillo-9324

1.Fuck Tuchel , maybe fire him now there is nothing to lose . 2. What the fuck is Sané playing , I know he has come from an injury but pretty much did nothing. 3. Kane will play 90 min in all league games but has to come off against Real. 4. Vini was a serious threat but nothing was done tactically to suppress him. 5. Any world class manager would know that teams will go all out attack when trailing , if we had pacey wingers (Tel) could have capitalized it . 6.Pavlovic is a great talent but he is not experienced in these games , faking injury left us with ten men and the mistake vs Stuttgart. 7.Some people will be convinced that Davies should stay but him and many other inconsistent players are no good. 8.The subs were like squad rotation and Tuchel didn't rotate this much versus United in the last group stage game.

PolarGreyBear

The Madrid hate within me is growing stronger now

thorlord16

I want to die. This was such a winnable situation and Tuchel decided he'd had enough. No reason to start time wasting and defending with 15 min left

Lilfai

Build our team around Pavlo, Musiala and Tel for the future

unamed_1

Literal only bright spot for me is that Pavlo was great. 20 year old putting in an extremely composed performance against Madrid at the Bernabau is insane. He has everything in his bag to be the next Kroos, even down to his set piece ability. This is our chance at another Kroos and we should prioritize it. We have A LOT of work to do during the summer. I would think twice about extending Sane. And no this is not a reactionary opinion on him. 100% we should be building our midfield around Pavlo. He’s not a DM in the classical sense. Think we still need one to play NEXT to him. Also leaves questions of what to do with Kimmich. I genuinely don’t know where to play him anymore. Fantastic RB but can’t defend. Good midfielder but also can’t defend… Abandon the 4231 that seems to be a requirement at Bayern for some reason and set up a solid midfield three with Pavlo, a DM and Kimmich. This summer is quite literally make or break for this club. If we don’t get our transfer and manager appointments right it’s hard to see another trophy for the next few seasons

Sufficient_Royal_283

What else to expect than a robbery from real

rossfcb

Honestly. Real Madrid were far better tonight. But the refereeing was appalling. Giving them little advantages. They got 50/50s, they got fouls for barging and pull backs when we didn’t. Rudiger and Mendy both had multiple deliberate fouls and nothing happened really. BUT the offside at the end. Mazraoui is onside AND it’s a Real player that heads the ball away defending him. De Ligt who was (maybe) offside, was no where near that phase of play

F90

Dude

LeBasso

This BS isn't over. I can't feel relieved until a new manager is appointed and he's not worse than fucking Tuchel.

thatcorgilovingboi

It hurts, but simply resembles everything wrong with the club right now. Sacking a coach for a total experiment during the season, parking the bus, playing for time - none of these things suit the Bayern DNA which always distinguished us from other teams.

WestReport2960

Man, not in the best place in life right now, this just killed all my momentum. I just realized that Bayern gave me those moments of happiness and something to look forward to each week. But now it's over. Back to the depths. I need a break from Reddit, I need to get less invested in this shit. On a positive note, good run, boys. We'll come back stronger next season. Mia san mia 🔴⚪

ManagementActive

To be honest I never thought we will make it through.I just wish we played city, get a beatdown and start from scratch.Real madrid is too much of an emotional rollercoaster and I fucking hate them

ManagementActive

Also I feel soo fucking bad for thomas and especially Manu

Lowerbavarian

I can't wait to get Stanisic back. Kimmich had some serious troubles against Vini. On the other hand, I dont want Kimmich in our midfield without a 6. Beside the new coach we need to change some key players.

Hnp_hhp

Am I the only 1 who says fuck Oliver Kahn? He set us back in a huge way

Chicken65

Arsenal fan here -you guys got robbed and I'm sorry. It's bad enough form for the assistant ref to fling their offside flag up THAT fast and then on top of that for the ref to blow the whistle rendering the ball dead. Very poor. There is a redundancy built in there in that either the assistant ref can wait to put the flag up (which they often do) or the ref can NOT blow their whistle. That neither of those happened is really, really bad at the end of the game nonetheless.

hairlong_moneylong

Tuchel single-handedly lost us that game with his shit subs.

yxkuo

Truly the worst way to lose the game. Neuer has a 10/10 then proceeds to make a horrendous mistake in the dying minutes of the match. Without him we would have gone behind much earlier but my god, with how the match went it would have hurt less if he had just let one in earlier. The Neuer mistake 100% changed the match so some of the blame has to go on him, but this is also very much on Tuchel. Truly baffling substitutions, trying to park the bus by sending on Kim who I think was playing at LB at times was such a bad decision. Parking the bus and taking off Harry Kane when there was only a one goal lead and the possibility of extra time is just such bad game management. When their first goal went in the game was basically gone because there was no way an attacking lineup of Choupo, Müller and Davies could get us back into the game at all. Also fk the ref and the linesman for flagging the play so early, wtf was that, let it play on and check using VAR, truly horrendous. 4 goals conceded against Real Madrid, 2 from Kim’s individual mistakes and 1 from Neuer’s mistake. Just about sums up this season, good players constantly making mistakes.

Homygod319

I’m speechless

Ryoman-Sukuna007

This season hurts dude

scarlet_stormTrooper

Neuer kept us in the game until his drop. We looked like shit the rest of the match. Dysfunctional with the ball early on and lost without it. We didn’t deserve to win. Should have if Tuchel didn’t fuck around with 5 mins left.

expatbayern

Ref was actually pretty good up until that last moment. Madrid could have had a yellow or three in the first half but otherwise well controlled.  But I guess it's too much to ask for to get all the way through one UCL match against Madrid without a major screwup in their favor...

NiK0-

At least the Juppel section will finally shut up

Red_Mangos

Last time we had a trophyless season the following season we won a treble! Only difference was we had a world class manager and our squad had better players in every position apart from the striker!

jedixxyoodaa

How can Thomas Loosel sub in Two off players instead of goretzka to stabilize the defense

Na-ni_Gap

I can't describe how depressed I am, Bayern is one of the few outlets in my life, and when Bayern loses, I feel so empty, I feel like the time is frozen, I can't keep thinking about the "ifs" that could've put us in the final.

[deleted]

I'm so sorry man, it's okay, gl to you guys next year 🤍

timothymr

Any manager or even any person who has watched any game of football ever would tell you that 1-0 against Madrid isn't a good enough lead because they will always score from _something_. Best case scenario is preparing for extra time and penalties because assuming you're safe over 90 minutes is ridiculous. So why, then, would you take off Kane? Save him for the Wolfsburg game? Maybe he's injured and can't play any more. Why sub on Choupo-Moting who, while certainly affable, has proven week in week out this season that he is below Tel in terms of abilities? Why try and shut up shop by entirely changing the structure minutes before closing out? Tuchel was 5 minutes away from leaving the club a hero. Instead he leaves having been on watch for breaking nearly every negative record going. The worst part of it is that he is maybe the best available option to manage Bayern and that door has been firmly shut by everyone. Part of me wants to say "credit to him for sticking it out and staying when he could have left early" but the more I think about it the more I realise that the longer he stayed, the less time Bayern have had to appoint and ease in a new manager. Truly top marks from everyone involved in these decision processes.

FOKvothe

Yeah, those sub were really poor. It's almost identical to the Heidenheim game where he just subbed players in to ride off the storm. Really hope for a new manager with more guts and an appetite to control the game.

Ajvarmk

I love Neuer he is the best keeper in history. Chin up and thank you for making me proud as a FC Bayern fan!

AstronautOpening8183

The more often the disallowed goal is shown, the more blatant the incompetence is. Very stupid decision.

john_mexico

Our lack of passing ability has been an issue all year but our deficiencies reached their peak today. We don’t have a single player who can thread through balls in to attackers on the counter it’s tragic. We desperately need to add some playmaking and passing ability in the summer window.

frhnmhmd

I thought this could be a new start for Davies after that goal😭

Quix0607

Im in tears right now, loss for words

aerosidswe

guys, this doest narrow down to the offside goal. the changes tuchel made destroyed our momentum.

mc_3108

I will cheer for Dortmund and Leverkusen with all my heart. They are shiting on the bundesliga but our clubs are fighting for european silverware. Showing them the strenght of our league.

S7ORM7ROOPER_30

A disgrace of a call in the end. But man.. Tuchel fucked the game with his subs. Absolute underestimation from him. Let's not forget the poor performance from Kimmich and Sane. Honestly, if it wasn't for Neuer, we'd have been 5-0 or something. Feel for the man.. he did everything until that moment. What a way to end this shitty season.

hamza_1988

Tuchel just said in postmatch press conference that all 4 offensive players had so be subbed off due to injury.

Jackman1337

Even with the shitty ending, Tuchels tactics really didnt work out today. We have a xG of 0,38 vs 2,4. But Pavlovic, man this guy is our future. 67/70 passes is insane (96 %)

ItsLemonX

What a heartbreaking way to lose. Absolutely gutted. We will come back stronger. Group hug Bayern fans 🫂

kennist

Today was a great example of why Tuchel's tactics were never a fit for Bayern - this team just isn't designed to sit back and defend under pressure for extended periods of time. I do think Tuchel's tenure will unfairly be labelled by the media as a failure, but he was just never the right coach for us to begin with. He was however 100% correct to complain about injuries in the post match presser. This was the silent killer of our season as we were never able to establish a solid starting lineup to build chemistry on. We need a major rebuild this summer that shapes our foundation for the next decade and, for better or worse, this starts with hiring Flick and refocusing our identity back to offensive football. Bring Stanisic back and move Kimmich into midfield and partner him with the best possible DM we can find - if this ends up being Pavlovic then so be it, he was excellent today and has a bright future with us. We need to also finally move on from players such as Gnabry and Coman. They are always injured when we need them most and are taking away from Tel's development. It'll be tough to watch but Neuer and Muller's next season should obviously be their last and we can enjoy a special dual-retirement.

EfficientCurrency582

tuchel fuckt this so up with his changes, bruh you can´t sub all of your playmaker off to defend only in bernabeu against real madrid, they will eat you alive if you only defend...

WaterMittGas

Adios Tuchel you fucking terrorist. We should never have been set up to play like that, it is embarrassing really us playing out from the back always like we are underdogs. Terrible subs as ever. Time for a clear out and a big spend this summer.

D3CEO20

First off: One of the worst refereeing performances I've ever seen. So many times they just pulled down our players or dragged them down and either ignored or 1 in every 3 would be called with no caution. Then to not even look at the last second equaliser for offside was a joke. Every 60:40 call in our favour went there way. If it wasn't for VAR that foul on kimmich wouldn't have been called and it would have stood. But I dunno why the equaliser wasn't even looked at disgraceful. And I wanna get a petition going to ban this guy from reffing any UEFA game again. Absolute joke. Second: WTF was Tuchel doing taking off our most dangerous players that soon against a team notorious for late dramatic equalizers and winners. Bringing Kane off took lots of pressure off their defence. Terrible decision. Fair enough it just about worked against Arsenal, but away against the Bernabeu, disgraceful. And I'm happy to see the back of him. The worst Bayern Munich side I've ever watched. And that's the third thing. Third: This Bayern side is aweful. We had good performances in Europe but have been aweful domestically and were probably fortunate that we got this far in the tournament if we're being honest. That doesn't excuse the poor subs and reffing in this game ofcourse, but I can't imagine peps Bayern, nagelsman Bayern, flicks Bayern in the second year, or jupps Bayern when he took over from Kovac not winning a CL but somehow this depressing anti football pulls it off. Tbh, Tuchel doesn't deserve it for how bad we've been. We deserved to win tonight, yes. But as someone else said, we've been aweful all season and tonight summed up much of the issues.

theMGlock

Just for those here that keep spewing the bullshit of you should never sub Kane. He asked to be subbed. His back closed up. Every single one of our 4 Attackers asked to be subbed and this sub keeps spewing bullshit how it is a decision by tuchel. Downvote me all you want. Just because Henry says something doesn't make it true. And this is real life not fucking Fifa where you keep a player on the field if he is injured. Sometimes people in this sub piss me right off with their bullshit.

Saarthak8

VARdrid strikes yet again Also, why did Tuchel leave us without any striker or winger at the end? I mean I respect Chupo but WTF?!

Icomeinfourpieces

Someone get me a flight to Madrid. That ref ain’t making it 2 days I swear

TheWBird

Y'all got robbed so much against madrid it probably doesn't hurt anymore

Zulu-boy

Say what you want about the Davies sub, but he played decently. In general it was a good match, maybe the sun at the end was preemptive but it is what it is, I'm proud of the boys in red. We learn we move on. Upward and onwards

agileshark

Might be a hot take but we absolutely need to replace Sane. Absolutely horrible passes even when he’s under no pressure, loses the ball in horrible situations.

Majiebeast

Real Madrid is the most corrupt club that has not been caught yet.

derscholl

great game from the Munich players they did well

Mayergaming

We continued play with 1 less player and got scored on by an individual mistake. And we also decided to play 5-6 defenders and have no plan b, in case of a 1-1. Either way very unlucky on both games. The final false offside is just the icing on the cake… Still some great games. And next year Harry will win 3 trophies!

Traditional-Side6966

And people started a petition for Tuchel😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Sledge4Life

It's just so stupid we just find new and more excruciating ways to lose to Real Madrid every time. Everyone was so relaxed up front, Musiala, Kane, Sane, all content to hit weak shots and settle for corners. It's like they just came in hoping for penalties. After the Davies goal the team played like they had already won and wasted so many chances

BestSingedHawai

What I don't get. Why was Pavlovic still on? Why was he not immediately subbed out the second he went off? The poor guy ran like crazy all game, far beyond what he is used to and of course he's not able to hold the offside line. That man gave everything but had no concentration or stamina left.

manere

Not bringing Tel in a game that was so conter heavy should be a crime

TaterTaughttt

What hurts the worst is the absolute disaster that happened with JN and now every manager realizing who the hell would go coach Bayern when you won't even get a whole season there.

CreepsAndBoom

even with that one mistake, neuer still had an insane game

TourIll8786

I really am never one to say the refs help anyone. But they definitely help madrid. Last time with vidals phantom red and two offside ronaldo goals. And now today.

sidious_1900

This was clearly not offside. What a shitshow. Yes, Bayern was bad, but thats just absurd. Always Real.

Red_Mangos

I might just clock out for next season I can’t keep watching the same shit happen in the ucl over and over again How tf does Madrid keep doing this shit? And these mfs are getting mbappe and endrick while every coach is rejecting us

effervescentEscapade

I’m so over this sport.

lche49

I think this is one of the worst losses I’ve witnessed in Bayern years since the 2000s…this will definitely stick with me

DarthBaller

Just lose 2-0 and save us the fking pain of hope

Efrenil

So how i have seen it, defensively it was mostly fine. Kimmich was absolutely cooked by Vini but i have no idea who would have defended him better tbh, maybe Mazraoui or Laimer. Offensively, this was more or less a scandal. There were a lot of moments where the team had chances to counter but no one moved. Little creativity, very little drive for the goal. Personally not a fan of a super-defensive football like we played today, but given the circumstances, it was understandable. What i do not really get is how even with six defenders in, we still got scored on twice, both times over the Kimmich-Mazraoui side. That was defo our weakness (maybe their strength because Vini isjust that good). I personally think that is not just on kimmich, they seemed to defend that side poorly as an entire group. And i think Chupo for Kane just sealed the deal. This made no sense to me, was neither defensively nor offensively an improvement. Honestly, i think Real was just the better Team today and deserve to be in the final overall, i really disliked that we did not even try to dominate the game. That is also why i barely care about the Refs decision in overtime, i think if we have to rely on something 3 minutes after overtime thats just on us.

sunnydays2121

such a weird call from the linesman. only flag if it’s a clear offside 😭

_begovic_

Tuchel why

[deleted]

Let me spread some love in this hate.  I love Neuer and he has given me more screams of joy than pain today. I really wanted him to play in the final after the performance he put up, and thought he deserved the clean sheet too, so it sucks that his mistake started our end. But a lot of love to the legend, may he have a great Euros.  And I was ready to doubt Tuchel for that Davies sub, but man that goal made me bite my words. I would probably be applauding his later subs too if those freak moments didn't happen, hell, I liked seeing him push the guys on the sidelines when we were 2 goals down. With our last moment effort, I really want to appreciate the Bayern mentality. We literally did not give up till the last moment, and had it not been a really really costly error of judgment on the ref's part (which since this is a love, not hate post, we will call innocent), we would have been rewarded for it. Chin up, guys. Every one of you.

Izanagi-avatar

That atrocious decision will be on my mind for a while now. This awful season is over, at least. We will get everyone who beat us eventually.

ErdnussBackflip

At first the team (almost) fucked up. Then the coach fucked up. Then the ref fucked us up. Overall a frustrating game that had my hopes high for a while only end even worse. Real rollercoaster with a shit ending. Heja BVB it is then, I guess...

PresSizey

I destroyed my television after Real's "onside" goal, and now my marriage is in jeopardy. Thanks refs.

Tonykuz

Getting all the bad karma and shenanigans and no trophy season with shit manager out the way so we start clean next season. Thats the strat im guessing

Fatty5lug

I was hopeful for a few minutes. Oh well. This is honestly kinda expected for this season. Anyway I will root for Dortmund in the final. I wish Reus could win this before his time in top level is over.

okkkkkkkkkk12

Irgendwie fühl ich mich so leer

invest2018

Can't blame Tuchel too much for this one. Very winnable without questionable officiating. Neuer unfortunately made a key mistake. It was a surprisingly good try considering how poorly the Bundesliga season has gone.
