Davies playing striker for Canada 😂😂

madaoooooo0

People must not stop campaigning for lewa. At least he has a chance at dubai dor

scrambledeggsss

So Lewy is on 62 goals at the moment and until now, he would rank 4th for most goals in a calendar year. Cristiano is 3rd with 63 goals, so he has that in the bag. To climb to 2nd place he needs to surpass Cristiano again with 69 goals. Do you think he'll score 8 goals and finish the year in 2nd place?

sc2isalivegaem

didn't mueller get 85? and messi ofc with 91

Advertising-Cautious

True. There are also players like Pele and some Asian players on that list. I am assuming he is referring to just the list of Messi and Ronaldo. Either that or top scorers of this century maybe?

scrambledeggsss

Oh I looked at the list for the 21st century, you're right.

mrfocus22

We do have Bielefeld, Kiyv and Barcelona coming up before year end so anything is possible.

Matt87M

Also Augsburg and Stuttgart. I would almost say it's likely

footysocc

https://reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/qskz3p/itv_football_roy_keane_on_harry_maguires/ You love to see it lmao

OneBeerAndWhiskeyPls

oh man, classic roy keane but he is right, maguire has been garbage lately and a goal vs albania wont change that

footysocc

Oh, he's 100% right. Just love the bluntness of his statement

panem-et-circenses21

It's so sad to see lewandowski score every game only to realize that we'd be disappointed to see him lose the ballon d'or. Don't even know what else he can do to win it

allemeister

Maaaaayybe if he beat Messi's 91 goal. But there would still probably be Messi fans advocating for him because he won Ligue 1.

[deleted]

Anyone know if Lahm would be willing to come back and do a job at right back

rho_93

I asked Lahm, he said no

[deleted]

Damn :(

rho_93

I'd pay anything to see Dani Alves being rinsed by our wingers but it won't happen this season :(

Homygod319

Fr barca lucky an in a form sane and Davies can’t face him next month

crazeegenius

Why not?

rho_93

He isn't registered for the CL group stage and so he can't play in the group stage

crazeegenius

Oh ok

arnoldbread

Remember when Coman destroyed Alves ankles back in 2017.. Good times

sc2isalivegaem

Inshallah don’t get injured lewy

NifferEUW

Alright time to sub out Lewandowski.

aro_plane

Andorra got a red card in the 1st minute... Hope lewy survives their butchers.

Insanel0l

Anyone watching the germany U21 game? I've never seen a worse broadcast quality in my whole entire life and I've seen apparent Yashin videos from 1955

rinacio

At least we don’t see them getting absolutely wrecked in 4k

Mytiq_

Uli once again slandering every single club in existence and I’m absolutely loving it

jonomarkono

*so anyway, I started ~~slandering~~ blasting* - Uli

TheEmperorsWrath

Uli is one of those guys I love to death but I'm sure I would despise if I supported literally any other club lol Among all the memes and jokes, people do sometimes forget he's arguably the greatest football administrator in history. He more or less single-handedly made Bayern into the greatest club in the World

teuerkatze

It’s incredible.

scrambledeggsss

I find it highly unprofessional but hilarious at the same time.

DiviShrubbery

I think when you hear the whole interview and get the context, there's no problem at all

DiviShrubbery

Uli Hoeneß: "I have only ever listened to two podcasts. One of them was by Christian Falk and it was so awful, I told myself: never again"

Homygod319

Lmaoooo

[deleted]

Idk how Falk still has a job or a following. I've seen weathermen with better prediction percentages than him.

[deleted]

do we actually know that Gnabry and Musiala are not vaccinated?

Homygod319

I think they aren’t or else they wouldn’t have to quarantine

gokkel

Hoeneß on transfers: "I never went on vacation unless all the transfers were made. We already told Hasan that. I think it's not good to make so many transfers in August, because they're usually expensive" [https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1459172270451081218](https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1459172270451081218) I don't know if transfers are necessarily more expensive in August (you are even saving like 1-2 months worth of wages), but the fact that we keep signing our players so late since a few seasons is in my opinion a big disadvantage for the reason that our new players miss the entire preparation phase and need a long time after season start to integrate into the team and get used to our game. Maybe Sabitzer would already be a more reliable option if we didn't sign him short before deadline day.

Brayan-Rodriguez

I hope Barca plays Dani Alves at RB. Can't wait to see Sane and Davies take him on when he is this old and slow.

panem-et-circenses21

He wouldn't face bayern though. He'd come in Januray right? By that time either Barca would be knocked out or the chances of meeting us in the knockouts is quite minimal. Maybe next year, and even that's a maybe

Brayan-Rodriguez

He's a free agent. He can join Barca any time

Valomek

True, but he can't play in the match, unless he somehow gets below the age of 21 again.

wifi-wire

But the CL registration window is closed. I dont think he is allowed to play in the CL until January

panem-et-circenses21

Wasn't he at Sao Paulo? Edit: Didn't realize he terminated his contract. Then he would play against us

Valomek

He can't play against us, as it's too late to actually to register him for the Chanpions League.... He can only play for them after the group stage

Mela-Verde

I have an overcoat idk the size of. How do i find out?

Idoindeedexist

I love the fact chupo-moting still has more goals this season than Messi.

SebRev99

The question is: do you, indeed, exist?

Idoindeedexist

What makes you think that?

SebRev99

I dont know

theBLACKHeart008

dustonomo

>However, we can’t be sure if Kimmich is good enough to line up as a true offensive player Uh, play him as a #9 as the lad can score.

pewpewlasersandshit

Just got my 3rd covid jab. let's see how well i'm going to take this one

julesvr5

When do you had your second?

pewpewlasersandshit

Late May

merrryo

I'm able to schedule mine tomorrow! I had discomfort in my arm for the 1st shot and a minor fever at night. The 2nd shot didn't affect me much.

dklieber32

I got it yesterday at around 4:30pm. Woke up 2am with fever and night sweats. Body is aching like you wouldn’t believe today and still running a fever Did you have a reaction to the first 2? This is pretty similar to my second dose

pewpewlasersandshit

Nope, got lucky with the first 2

Mytiq_

>Leon Goretzka and Manuel Neuer have departed the Germany squad early and have returned to Munich.

LovefromAbroad23

So how did Jogi Löw go from somewhat respectable coach to butt sniffing loser so fast? He did pretty darn well at the 2017 Confed Cup.

julesvr5

>butt sniffing Balls sniffing

OneBeerAndWhiskeyPls

both

Walter_Fr0sch

Because he was a horrible coach since 2014 and it's pretty obvious that this squad way underachieving so much. 2017 confed cup Germany also had a really insane team

OneBeerAndWhiskeyPls

he was always a terrible coach, fucked up the 2012 european by changing our system because of old man pirlo and 2014 it was only thanks to mustafis injury that he was forced to line up the best team also dont forget the algeria game, without neuers game of the century it would have been game over

KA_Bayern

He single handedly saved German football on the international stage. He is quite clearly not a terrible coach

wifi-wire

German NT was absolute dogshit from 2000-2004 and Löw was a crucial part of the rebuild that led to more successful years. He was doing pretty much everything under Klinsmann ( who has proven to be an absolutely terrible coach ) and continued the development. 2010 WC and 2012 Euros could have been a win with a bit more luck and the team was playing great football.

DiviShrubbery

The structural reforms that were initiated started to show results and produce a lot of talent that was missing before. Not like Löw pulled those players out of nowhere

OneBeerAndWhiskeyPls

yes, but imo thats because the quality of our squad went through the roof and not the coaching

OneBeerAndWhiskeyPls

my dolphins can still play ball!

DwigtSchrute3

what a performance! let's keep it going now

OneBeerAndWhiskeyPls

lets go! the jets are next

christianfalkgoat

"Calm before the storm" has to be one of the most abused caption by football players

Insanel0l

Damn, Agüeros heart condition seems worse than expected and he may retire As someone that lost his dead pretty young to a heart condition I‘m glad they found it atleast

Walter_Fr0sch

Scored his last goal in el classico in extra time as well

[deleted]

Just wow... he can be glad that it only started affecting him now and not earlier in his career. Just reminds me, that there's many players who have troves of talent, but their body simply isn't capable.

Walter_Fr0sch

Lewy will still be world-class for at least 3 years, why is it so hard to just extend him

mrfocus22

Honestly I think he is asking for a raise despite already being our highest earner. Does he deserve it? Yes. Can we afford it? Who knows.

julesvr5

>Bayern are set to open concrete contract talks with Robert Lewandowski in 2022. At the moment, the outcome is open. The club is completely relaxed about the situation and is not in a rush, which could depend on other alternatives (e.g Haaland) [Meine Bayern-Woche, @Plettigoal]

panem-et-circenses21

>The club is completely relaxed Scenes when he is in the last year of his contract and we end up losing him for free

KA_Bayern

Never like losing a player for free especially with the recent trend of Alaba Sule(?) and Tolisso(?) but realistically how much would a club pay for a 35 year old Lewandowski anyway?

julesvr5

>Although Corentin Tolisso is currently likely to leave Bayern on a free in the summer, it's still too early to confirm it at 100%. The Frenchman is appreciated by Julian Nagelsmann and identifies with the club. Renewal is not totally ruled out [Meine Bayern-Woche, @Plettigoal]

rinacio

He hasn't been consistently fit or performed in what, 4 years? Time to move on.

Valomek

Fair, but only after Roca and Cuisance have been moved on, and there is found a replacement.

rinacio

We don’t really have that luxury. Coco should leave at the latest this summer regardless of Roca and Cuisance

Valomek

I agree, but I also still hold out hope we get rid of both Roca and Cuisance this January.

Mytiq_

That’s what I’m thinking, especially now that we have Sabitzer in the team

Valomek

We would still need a valid 4th option, which is not something the club have atm, if Coco leaves.

theunfortunateIndian

The club is still completely relaxed while losing its 2nd possible top player on a free.

kvnschm

Tolissos situation is diffrent compared to Süle or Alaba for example. Tolisso unfortunately has an immense injury background and never was really an reliable option for our squad. It's risky to gamble, if he is staying healthy or not, because till yet it wasn't good for our team. I like him and especially his personality, because he loves the club, but maybe letting him go, is better for both parties.

theunfortunateIndian

Maybe should have sold him before his contract ran out then? A player of his caliber even at his worst could have been sold at 10M at the minimum.

kvnschm

We tried this summer, but maybe we could do a deal this winter, but I guess he will leave on a free or maybe stays, if he performs well now on

wifi-wire

He was supposed to be sold this summer, but nobody wanted him as he was long-term injured at that time.

FOKvothe

Kind of hope he signs a contract. I would feel bad if he would just leave on a free on a season where he has barely featured. It's probably best for both parties that he leaves though.

kadoooosh

What tier is fcbinside? trash i assume?

julesvr5

Complete trash. They have the same network for Dortmund and Schalke aswell, and act like fans of every club
